< Judges 13 >
1 And they repeated [the] people of Israel to do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he gave them Yahweh in [the] hand of [the] Philistines forty year[s].
Na ka mahi kino ano nga tamariki a Iharaira i te tirohanga a Ihowa, a ka hoatu ratou e Ihowa ki te ringa o nga Pirihitini, e wha tekau tau.
2 And he was a man one from Zorah from [the] clan of the Danite[s] and name his [was] Manoah and wife his [was] barren and not she had borne children.
Na ko tetahi tangata o Toraha no te hapu o nga Rani, tona ingoa ko Manoa, he pakoko hoki tana wahine, kahore ano i whanau tamariki.
3 And he appeared [the] angel of Yahweh to the woman and he said to her here! please you [are] barren and not you have borne children and you will conceive and you will bear a son.
Na ka puta te anahera a Ihowa ki te wahine, ka mea ki a ia, Na, he pakoko koe, kahore hoki i whanau tamariki: otiia ka hapu koe, a ka whanau he tama.
4 And therefore take care please and may not you drink wine and strong drink and may not you eat any unclean [thing].
Na kia tupato, kaua e inumia he waina, he wai whakahaurangi ranei; kaua ano e kainga tetahi mea poke.
5 For here you [will be] pregnant and you will bear a son and a razor not it will go up on head his for a Nazirite of God he will be the lad from the womb and he he will begin to deliver Israel from [the] hand of [the] Philistines.
No te mea ka hapu koe, a ka whanau he tama; na kaua he heu e pa ki tona matenga: hei Natari hoki tena tamaiti ki te Atua no te kopu mai ano: a mana e timata te whakaora i a Iharaira i roto i te ringa o nga Pirihitini.
6 And she went the woman and she said to husband her saying man of God he came to me and appearance his [was] like [the] appearance of angel of God awesome very and not I asked him where? from this [was] he and name his not he told to me.
7 And he said to me here you [will be] pregnant and you will bear a son and therefore may not you drink - wine and strong drink and may not you eat any uncleanness for a Nazirite of God he will be the lad from the womb until [the] day of death his.
Otiia i ki mai ia ki ahau, Ka hapu koe, a ka whanau he tama; na kaua koe e inu i te waina, i te wai whakahaurangi ranei, kaua ano hoki e kainga tetahi mea poke; he Natari hoki tena tamaiti ki te Atua no te kopu mai ano a mate noa.
8 And he prayed Manoah to Yahweh and he said pardon me O Lord [the] man of God whom you sent let him come please again to us so he may teach us what? will we do for the lad who is about to be born.
9 And he listened God to [the] voice of Manoah and he came [the] angel of God again to the woman and she [was] sitting in the field and Manoah husband her not [was] with her.
A i rongo te Atua ki te reo o Manoa, a ka haere mai ano te anahera a te Atua ki te wahine i a ia e noho ana i te parae; ko Manoa ia, ko tana tahu, kahore i a ia.
10 And she made haste the woman and she ran and she told to husband her and she said to him here! he has presented himself to me the man who he came on the day to me.
11 And he arose and he went Manoah after wife his and he came to the man and he said to him ¿ [are] you the man who you spoke to the woman and he said I.
12 And he said Manoah now it will come words your what? will it be [the] manner of the lad and work his.
Na ka mea a Manoa, Kia mana ra tau kupu. Tena koa nga tikanga mo te tamaiti, he aha he mahi mana?
13 And he said [the] angel of Yahweh to Manoah from all that I said to the woman she will take care.
14 Any of all that it comes forth from [the] vine of the wine not she will eat and wine and strong drink may not she drink and any uncleanness may not she eat all that I commanded her she will keep.
Kaua ia e kai i tetahi mea i puta mai i te waina; kaua ano e inumia e ia he waina, he wai whakahaurangi ranei, kaua ano hoki ia e kai i tetahi mea poke: kia mau ia ki nga mea katoa i kiia atu e ahau ki a ia.
15 And he said Manoah to [the] angel of Yahweh let us detain please you so we may prepare before you a kid of goats.
Na, ka mea a Manoa ki te anahera a Ihowa, Me pupuri maua i a koe, kia taka ai e maua he kuao koati mau.
16 And he said [the] angel of Yahweh to Manoah if you will detain me not I will eat in food your and if you will make a burnt offering to Yahweh you will offer up it for not he knew Manoah that [was] [the] angel Yahweh it.
Ka mea te anahera a Ihowa ki a Manoa, Ahakoa pupuri noa koe i ahau, e kore ahau e kai i tau taro: a ki te meatia e koe he tahunga tinana, me whakaeke ma Ihowa. Kihai hoki a Manoa i mohio he anahera ia na Ihowa.
17 And he said Manoah to [the] angel of Yahweh who? [is] name your if it will come (word your *Q(K)*) and we will honor you.
Na ka mea a Manoa ki te anahera a Ihowa, Ko wai tou ingoa, kia whakahonore ai maua i a koe, ina mana au korero?
18 And he said (to him *L(abh)*) [the] angel of Yahweh why? this are you asking to name my and it [is] incomprehensible.
Ka mea te anahera a Ihowa ki a ia, He aha toku ingoa i uia ai e koe; he mea whakamiharo nei hoki?
19 And he took Manoah [the] kid of the goats and the grain offering and he offered [it] up on the rock to Yahweh and an extraordinary thing to do and Manoah and wife his [were] looking.
Heoi ka tikina e Manoa tetahi kuao koati, me tetahi whakahere totokore, a whakaekea ana e ia ki runga ki te kamaka ki a Ihowa: na he mea whakamiharo te mahi a taua anahera, me te titiro ano a Manoa raua ko tana wahine.
20 And it was when went up the flame from on the altar the heavens towards and he went up [the] angel of Yahweh in [the] flame of the altar and Manoah and wife his [were] looking and they fell on faces their [the] ground towards.
21 And not he repeated again [the] angel of Yahweh to appear to Manoah and to wife his then he knew Manoah that [was] [the] angel of Yahweh it.
Kihai ia i puta mai ano te anahera a Ihowa ki a Manoa raua ko tana wahine. Katahi a Manoa ka mohio he anahera ia na Ihowa.
22 And he said Manoah to wife his certainly we will die for God we have seen.
23 And she said to him wife his if he had desired Yahweh to kill us not he accepted from hand our a burnt offering and a grain offering and not he showed us all these [things] and about this time not he caused to hear us like this.
Ano ra ko tana wahine ki a ia, Me i pai a Ihowa ki te whakamate i a taua, kihai i tangohia e ia te tahunga tinana me te whakahere totokore i o taua ringa, kihai ano hoki i whakakitea mai e ia enei mea katoa ki a taua, kihai hoki i korerotia mai inaianei ki a taua nga mea penei i enei.
24 And she bore the woman a son and she called name his Samson and he grew up the lad and he blessed him Yahweh.
Na ka whanau taua wahine, he tama, a huaina ana e ia tona ingoa ko Hamahona: na ka tupu taua tamaiti, a ka manaakitia e Ihowa.
25 And it began [the] spirit of Yahweh to stir him in Mahaneh Dan between Zorah and between Eshtaol.
