< Judges 12 >
1 And it was summoned [the] man of Ephraim and it passed over Zaphon towards and they said to Jephthah why? - did you pass over - to wage war against [the] people of Ammon and us not you summoned to go with you house your we will burn over you with fire.
Efraim ƒe viwo ƒo ƒu aʋakɔ aɖe nu ɖe Zafɔn eye woɖo du ɖe Yefta be, “Nu ka ta mèyɔ mí be míakpe ɖe ŋuwò esi nèwɔ aʋa kple Amonitɔwo o? Míele dzo tɔ ge wò aƒe ɖe dziwò!”
2 And he said Jephthah to them a man of strife I was I and people my and [the] people of Ammon exceedingly and I summoned you and not you delivered me from hand their.
Yefta ɖo eŋu be, “Meyɔ mi gake miegbe vava, esi míeɖo xaxa me la, miegbe miekpe ɖe mía ŋu o.
3 And I saw that not you ([were] a deliverer *L(abh)*) and I put! life my in palm my and I passed over! against [the] people of Ammon and he gave them Yahweh in hand my and why? have you come up against me the day this to fight against me.
Metsɔ nye agbe ke; míawo ɖeɖe míewɔ aʋa la eye Yehowa kpe ɖe mía ŋu míeɖu futɔ la dzi. Ɖe wòhiã be miawɔ aʋa kpli mí le nu sia ta?”
4 And he gathered Jephthah all [the] men of Gilead and he fought with Ephraim and they attacked [the] men of Gilead Ephraim for they had said [are] fugitives of Ephraim you O Gilead in [the] midst of Ephraim in [the] midst of Manasseh.
Yefta yɔ Gilead ŋutsuwo ƒo ƒu eye woyi ɖawɔ aʋa kple Efraimtɔwo. Gileadtɔwo wu wo elabena Efraimtɔwo gblɔ be, “Mi Gileadtɔwo la, mienye ame dzeaglãwo le Efraim kple Manase me.”
5 And it captured Gilead [the] fords of the Jordan to Ephraim and it was that they said [the] fugitives of Ephraim let me pass over and they said to him [the] men of Gilead ¿ an Ephrathite [are] you and he said - no.
Gileadtɔwo xɔ Yɔdan tɔtsoƒe siwo ge ɖe Efraimnyigba dzi eye ne ame siwo tsi agbe le Efraimtɔwo dome gblɔ be, “Na matso tɔ la” la, ekema Gilead ŋutsuwo abiae be, “Efraimtɔe nènyea?” Ne eɖo eŋu be, “Ao” la,
6 And they said to him say please Shibboleth and he said Sibboleth and not he gave attention to speak right and they seized him and they slaughtered him to [the] fords of the Jordan and it fell at the time that of Ephraim forty and two thousand.
wogblɔna nɛ be, “Enyo, gblɔ be, ‘Tsibolet.’” Ekema ne amea gblɔ be, “Siblet” elabena mate ŋu ayɔ nya Tsibolet nyuie o la, wolénɛ wunɛ le Yɔdan ƒe tɔtsoƒe la. Wowu Efraimtɔ akpe blaene-vɔ-eve le ɣe ma ɣi me.
7 And he judged Jephthah Israel six years and he died Jephthah the Gileadite and he was buried in [the] cities of Gilead.
Yefta nye Israelviwo ƒe ʋɔnudrɔ̃la ƒe ade. Esi Yefta, Gileadtɔ la ku la, woɖii ɖe Gilead duwo dometɔ ɖeka me.
8 And he judged after him Israel Ibzan from Beth-lehem.
Ʋɔnudrɔ̃la si kplɔ Yefta ɖo lae nye Ibzan, ame si nɔ Betlehem hedrɔ̃ ʋɔnu na Israel.
9 And it belonged to him thirty sons and thirty daughters he sent away the outside towards and thirty daughters he brought for sons his from the outside and he judged Israel seven years.
Viŋutsu blaetɔ̃ kple vinyɔnu blaetɔ̃ nɔ esi. Etsɔ via nyɔnuwo na amedzroŋutsuwo woɖe eye wòkplɔ ɖetugbiwo tso dzronyigbawo dzi vɛ na via ŋutsuwo woɖe. Ibzan nye ʋɔnudrɔ̃la na Israel ƒe adre
10 And he died Ibzan and he was buried in Beth-lehem.
eye esi Ibzan la, woɖii ɖe Betlehem.
11 And he judged after him Israel Elon the Zebulunite and he judged Israel ten years.
Le Ibzan yome la, Elon Zebulontɔ zu ʋɔnudrɔ̃la na Israelviwo ƒe ewo.
12 And he died Elon the Zebulunite and he was buried in Aijalon in [the] land of Zebulun.
Esi Elon ku la, woɖii ɖe Aiyalon le Zebulonyigba dzi.
13 And he judged after him Israel Abdon [the] son of Hillel the Pirathonite.
Ʋunudrɔ̃la si kplɔ Elon ɖo lae nye Abdon, Hilel ƒe vi, tso Piratɔn.
14 And it belonged to him forty sons and thirty sons of sons [who] rode on seventy donkeys and he judged Israel eight years.
Viŋutsu blaene kple tɔgbuiyɔvi blaetɔ̃ nɔ esi. Ame blaadre siawo doa tedzi blaadre. Abdon nye Israel ƒe ʋɔnudrɔ̃la ƒe enyi.
15 And he died Abdon [the] son of Hillel the Pirathonite and he was buried at Pirathon in [the] land of Ephraim in [the] hill country of the Amalekite[s].
Esi Abdon, Hilel vi ku la, woɖii ɖe Piratɔn le Efraimnyigba dzi, le Amalekitɔwo ƒe anyigba dzi.
