Judges 11
1 And Jephthah the Gileadite he was a mighty [man] of strength and he [was] [the] son of a woman a prostitute and he fathered Gilead Jephthah.
௧கீலேயாத்தியனான யெப்தா வல்லமையுள்ள வீரனாக இருந்தான்; அவன் வேசியின் மகன்; கிலெயாத் அவனைப் பெற்றான்.
2 And she bore [the] wife of Gilead to him sons and they grew up [the] sons of the wife and they drove out Jephthah and they said to him not you will have an inheritance in [the] house of father our for [are] [the] son of a woman another you.
௨கிலெயாத்தின் மனைவியும் அவனுக்குக் மகன்களைப் பெற்றாள்; அவனுடைய மனைவி பெற்ற மகன்கள் பெரியவர்களானபின்பு, அவர்கள் யெப்தாவை நோக்கி: உனக்கு எங்களுடைய தகப்பன் வீட்டிலே சொத்து இல்லை; நீ அந்நிய பெண்ணின் மகன் என்று சொல்லி அவனைத் துரத்தினார்கள்.
3 And he fled Jephthah [away] from before brothers his and he dwelt in [the] land of Tob and they joined themselves to Jephthah men unprincipled and they went out with him.
௩அப்பொழுது யெப்தா: தன்னுடைய சகோதரர்களை விட்டு ஓடிப்போய், தோப் தேசத்திலே குடியிருந்தான்; வீணரான மனிதர்கள் யெப்தாவோடே கூடிக்கொண்டு, அவனோடு யுத்தத்திற்குப் போவார்கள்.
4 And it was from days and they fought [the] people of Ammon with Israel.
௪சிலநாட்களுக்குப்பின்பு, அம்மோனிய மக்கள் இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் யுத்தம்செய்தார்கள்.
5 And it was just when they fought [the] people of Ammon with Israel and they went [the] elders of Gilead to fetch Jephthah from [the] land of Tob.
௫அவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் யுத்தம்செய்யும்போது கீலேயாத்தின் மூப்பர்கள் யெப்தாவைத் தோப் தேசத்திலிருந்து அழைத்துவரப்போய்,
6 And they said to Jephthah come! and you will become of us a commander so let us fight against [the] people of Ammon.
௬யெப்தாவை நோக்கி: நீ வந்து, நாங்கள் அம்மோன் மக்களோடு யுத்தம்செய்ய எங்களுடைய தளபதியாக இருக்கவேண்டும் என்றார்கள்.
7 And he said Jephthah to [the] elders of Gilead ¿ not you did you hate me and did you drive out? me from [the] house of father my and why? have you come to me now just when [is] distress to you.
௭அதற்கு யெப்தா கீலேயாத்தின் மூப்பரைப் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் அல்லவா என்னைப் பகைத்து, என்னுடைய தகப்பன் வீட்டிலிருந்து என்னைத் துரத்தினவர்கள்? இப்பொழுது உங்களுக்கு ஆபத்து சம்பவித்திருக்கிற சமயத்தில் நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் ஏன் வருகிறீர்கள் என்றான்.
8 And they said [the] elders of Gilead to Jephthah therefore now we have returned to you and you will come with us and you will fight against [the] people of Ammon and you will become of us chief of all [the] inhabitants of Gilead.
௮அதற்குக் கீலேயாத்தின் மூப்பர் யெப்தாவை நோக்கி: நீ எங்களோடு வந்து, அம்மோன் மக்களோடு யுத்தம்செய்து, கீலேயாத்தின் குடிகளாகிய எங்கள் அனைவர்மேலும் தலைவனாக இருக்க வேண்டும்; இதற்காக இப்பொழுது உன்னிடம் வந்தோம் என்றார்கள்.
9 And he said Jephthah to [the] elders of Gilead if [are] bringing back you me to fight against [the] people of Ammon and he will deliver up Yahweh them before me I I will become of you chief.
௯அதற்கு யெப்தா: அம்மோன் மக்களோடு யுத்தம்செய்ய, நீங்கள் என்னைத் திரும்ப அழைத்துப்போனபின்பு, யெகோவா அவர்களை எனக்கு முன்பாக ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தால், என்னை உங்களுக்குத் தலைவனாக வைப்பீர்களா என்று கீலேயாத்தின் மூப்பரைக் கேட்டான்.
10 And they said [the] elders of Gilead to Jephthah Yahweh he will be hearing between us if not according to word your so we will do.
௧0கீலேயாத்தின் மூப்பர் யெப்தாவைப் பார்த்து: நாங்கள் உன்னுடைய வார்த்தையின்படியே செய்யாவிட்டால், யெகோவா நமக்கு நடுவாக நின்று கேட்பாராக என்றார்கள்.
11 And he went Jephthah with [the] elders of Gilead and they made the people him over them into chief and into commander and he spoke Jephthah all words his before Yahweh in Mizpah.
௧௧அப்பொழுது யெப்தா கீலேயாத்தின் மூப்பர்களோடு போனான்; மக்கள் அவனைத் தங்கள்மேல் தலைவனும் தளபதியுமாக வைத்தார்கள். யெப்தா தன்னுடைய காரியங்களையெல்லாம் மிஸ்பாவிலே யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியிலே சொன்னான்.
12 And he sent Jephthah messengers to [the] king of [the] people of Ammon saying what? [is] to me and to you that you have come to me to wage war against land my.
௧௨பின்பு யெப்தா அம்மோன் மக்களின் ராஜாவினிடத்திற்கு தூதுவர்களை அனுப்பி: நீ என்னுடைய தேசத்தில் எனக்கு விரோதமாக யுத்தம்செய்ய வருகிறதற்கு, எனக்கும் உனக்கும் என்ன வழக்கு இருக்கிறது என்று கேட்கச் சொன்னான்.
13 And he said [the] king of [the] people of Ammon to [the] messengers of Jephthah that it took Israel land my when came up it from Egypt from [the] Arnon and to the Jabbok and to the Jordan and therefore restore! them in peace.
௧௩அம்மோன் மக்களின் ராஜா யெப்தாவின் தூதுவர்களை நோக்கி: இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து வருகிறபோது, அர்னோன் துவங்கி யாப்போக், யோர்தான்வரை இருக்கிற என்னுடைய தேசத்தைக் பிடித்துக்கொண்டார்களே; இப்பொழுது அதை எனக்குச் சமாதானமாகத் திரும்பக் கொடுத்துவிடவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லுங்கள் என்றான்.
14 And he repeated again Jephthah and he sent messengers to [the] king of [the] people of Ammon.
௧௪யெப்தா மறுபடியும் அம்மோன் மக்களின் ராஜாவினிடத்திற்கு தூதுவர்களை அனுப்பி, அவனுக்குச் சொல்லச் சொன்னதாவது:
15 And he said to him thus he says Jephthah not it has taken Israel [the] land of Moab and [the] land of [the] people of Ammon.
௧௫யெப்தா சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் மோவாபியர்களின் தேசத்தையாகிலும், அம்மோன் மக்களின் தேசத்தையாகிலும் பிடித்துக்கொண்டதில்லையே.
16 That when came up they from Egypt and it went Israel in the wilderness to [the] sea of reed[s] and it came Kadesh towards.
௧௬இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் எகிப்திலிருந்து வருகிறபோது, வனாந்திரத்தில் சிவந்த சமுத்திரம்வரை நடந்து, பின்பு காதேசுக்கு வந்து,
17 And it sent Israel messengers - to [the] king of Edom - saying let me pass please in land your and not he listened [the] king of Edom and also to [the] king of Moab it sent and not he was willing and it remained Israel at Kadesh.
௧௭இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் ஏதோமின் ராஜாவினிடத்திற்கு தூதுவர்களை அனுப்பி: நாங்கள் உன்னுடைய தேசத்தின் வழியாகக் கடந்துபோகிறோம் என்று சொல்லச்சொன்னார்கள்; அதற்கு ஏதோமின் ராஜா செவிகொடுக்கவில்லை; அப்படியே மோவாபின் ராஜாவினிடத்திற்கும் அனுப்பினார்கள்; அவனும் சம்மதிக்கவில்லை. ஆதலால் இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் காதேசிலே தங்கியிருந்து,
18 And it went in the wilderness and it went around [the] land of Edom and [the] land of Moab and it came from [the] rising of [the] sun of [the] land of Moab and they encamped! on [the] other side of [the] Arnon and not they went in [the] territory of Moab for [the] Arnon [was] [the] border of Moab.
௧௮பின்பு வனாந்திரவழியாக நடந்து ஏதோம் தேசத்தையும் மோவாப் தேசத்தையும் சுற்றிப்போய், மோவாபின் தேசத்திற்குக் கிழக்கேவந்து, மோவாபின் எல்லைக்குள் நுழையாமல், மோவாபின் எல்லையான அர்னோன் நதிக்கு அப்பாலே முகாமிட்டார்கள்.
19 And it sent Israel messengers to Sihon [the] king of the Amorite[s] [the] king of Heshbon and it said to him Israel let us pass please in land your to own place my.
௧௯அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் எஸ்போனில் ஆளுகிற சீகோன் என்னும் எமோரியர்களின் ராஜாவினிடத்திற்கு தூதுவர்களை அனுப்பி: நாங்கள் உன்னுடைய தேசத்தின் வழியாக எங்களுடைய இடத்திற்கு கடந்துபோக இடங்கொடு என்று சொல்லச்சொன்னார்கள்.
20 And not he trusted Sihon Israel to pass in territory his and he gathered Sihon all people his and they encamped at Jahaz and he fought with Israel.
௨0சீகோன் இஸ்ரவேலர்களை நம்பாததால், தன்னுடைய எல்லையைக் கடந்துபோகிறதற்கு இடங்கொடாமல் தன்னுடைய மக்களையெல்லாம் கூட்டி, யாகாசிலே முகாமிட்டு, இஸ்ரவேலர்களோடு யுத்தம்செய்தான்.
21 And he gave Yahweh [the] God of Israel Sihon and all people his in [the] hand of Israel and they defeated them and it took possession of Israel all [the] land of the Amorite[s] [who] dwelt of the land that.
௨௧அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா சீகோனையும் அவனுடைய எல்லா மக்களையும் இஸ்ரவேலரின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்; அவர்களை முறியடித்தார்கள்; அப்படியே இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் அந்த தேசத்திலே குடியிருந்த எமோரியர்களின் நாடுகளையெல்லாம் பிடித்து, அர்னோன் துவக்கி,
22 And they took possession of all [the] territory of the Amorite[s] from [the] Arnon and to the Jabbok and from the wilderness and to the Jordan.
௨௨யாப்போக்வரை, வனாந்திரம் துவக்கி யோர்தான்வரை இருக்கிற எமோரியரின் எல்லைகளையெல்லாம் சொந்தமாக பிடித்துக்கொண்டார்கள்.
23 And now Yahweh - [the] God of Israel he has dispossessed the Amorite[s] from before people his Israel and you will you take possession of? it.
௨௩இப்படி இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா எமோரியர்களை தம்முடைய மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்தியிருக்க, நீர் அந்த தேசத்தை பிடித்துக்கொள்ளமுடியுமா?
24 ¿ Not [that] which he will cause to possess you Chemosh god your it will you take possession of and all that he has dispossessed Yahweh God our from before us it we will take possession of.
௨௪உம்முடைய தேவனாகிய காமோஸ் உமக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்துகிறவர்களின் தேசத்தை நீர் பிடித்துக்கொள்ளமாட்டீரோ? அப்படியே எங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா எங்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்துகிறவர்களின் தேசத்தையெல்லாம் நாங்களும் பிடித்துக்கொள்கிறோம்.
25 And now ¿ really good [are] you more than Balak [the] son of Zippor [the] king of Moab ¿ really did he quarrel with Israel or? ever did he wage war against them.
௨௫மேலும் சிப்போரின் மகனான பாலாக் என்னும் மோவாபின் ராஜாவைவிட உமக்கு அதிக நியாயம் உண்டோ? அவன் இஸ்ரவேலர்களோடு எப்போதாவது வாதாடினானா? எப்போதாவது அவர்களுக்கு எதிராக யுத்தம்செய்தானா?
26 When dwelt Israel in Heshbon and in daughters its and in Aroer and in daughters its and in all the cities which [were] on [the] sides of [the] Arnon three hundred year[s] and why? not did you recover [them] at the time that.
௨௬இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் எஸ்போனிலும் அதின் கிராமங்களிலும், ஆரோவேரிலும் அதின் கிராமங்களிலும், அர்னோன் நதியின் அருகே எல்லா ஊர்களிலும், முந்நூறு வருடங்கள் குடியிருக்கும்போது, இவ்வளவு காலமாக நீங்கள் அதைத் திருப்பிக்கொள்ளாமல் போனதென்ன?
27 And I not I have sinned to you and you [are] doing with me evil by waging war against me may he judge Yahweh the judge this day between [the] people of Israel and between [the] people of Ammon.
௨௭நான் உமக்கு எதிராகக் குற்றம் செய்யவில்லை; நீர் எனக்கு எதிராக யுத்தம்செய்கிறதினால் நீர்தான் எனக்கு அநியாயம் செய்கிறீர்; நியாயாதிபதியாகிய யெகோவா இன்று இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கும் அம்மோன் மக்களுக்கும் நடுநின்று நியாயம் தீர்க்கக்கடவர் என்று சொல்லி அனுப்பினான்.
28 And not he listened [the] king of [the] people of Ammon to [the] words of Jephthah which he sent to him.
௨௮ஆனாலும் அம்மோன் மக்களின் ராஜா தனக்கு யெப்தா சொல்லியனுப்பின வார்த்தைகளை கேட்காமற்போனான்.
29 And it was on Jephthah [the] spirit of Yahweh and he passed through Gilead and Manasseh and he passed through Mizpah of Gilead and from Mizpah of Gilead he he passed on [the] people of Ammon.
௨௯அப்பொழுது யெகோவாவுடைய ஆவி யெப்தாவின்மேல் இறங்கினார்; அவன் கீலேயாத்தையும் மனாசே நாட்டையும் கடந்துபோய், கீலேயாத்திலிருக்கிற மிஸ்பாவுக்கு வந்து, அங்கேயிருந்து அம்மோன் மக்களுக்கு எதிராகப் போனான்.
30 And he vowed Jephthah a vow to Yahweh and he said certainly [if] you will give [the] people of Ammon in hand my.
௩0அப்பொழுது யெப்தா யெகோவாவுக்கு ஒரு பொருத்தனையைச் செய்து: தேவரீர் அம்மோன் மக்களை என் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தால்,
31 And it will be whatever comes out which it will come out from [the] doors of house my to meet me when return I in peace from [the] people of Ammon and it will belong to Yahweh and I will offer up it a burnt offering.
௩௧நான் அம்மோன் மக்களிடத்திலிருந்து சமாதானத்தோடு திரும்பி வரும்போது, என் வீட்டு வாசற்படியிலிருந்து எனக்கு எதிர்கொண்டு வருவது எதுவோ அது யெகோவாவுக்கு உரியதாகும், அதைச் சர்வாங்கதகனபலியாகச் செலுத்துவேன் என்றான்.
32 And he passed on Jephthah to [the] people of Ammon to fight against them (and he gave them *L(abh)*) Yahweh in hand his.
௩௨யெப்தா அம்மோன் மக்களின்மேல் யுத்தம்செய்ய, அவர்களுக்கு எதிராகப் புறப்பட்டுப்போனான்; யெகோவா அவர்களை அவன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்.
33 And he defeated them from Aroer and until coming you Minnith twenty citi[es] and to Abel Keramim a defeat great very and they were subdued [the] people of Ammon from before [the] people of Israel.
௩௩அவன் அவர்களை ஆரோவேர் துவக்கி மின்னித்திற்குப் போகும்வரை, திராட்சைத் தோட்டத்து நிலங்கள்வரைக்கும், பேரழிவாக முறியடித்து, இருபது பட்டணங்களைப் பிடித்தான்; இப்படி அம்மோன் மக்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் தாழ்த்தப்பட்டார்கள்.
34 And he came Jephthah Mizpah to house his and there! daughter his [was] coming out to meet him with tambourines and with dancing and only she [was] an only [child] not [belonged] to him from him a son or a daughter.
௩௪யெப்தா மிஸ்பாவிலிருக்கிற தன்னுடைய வீட்டிற்கு வருகிறபோது, இதோ, அவன் மகள் தம்புரு வாசித்து நடனமாடி, அவனுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டு வந்தாள்; அவள் அவனுக்கு ஒரே பிள்ளை; அவளைத்தவிர அவனுக்கு மகனும் இல்லை மகளும் இல்லை.
35 And it was when saw he her and he tore clothes his and he said alas! O daughter my certainly you have brought low me and you you are among [those who] trouble me and I I have opened mouth my to Yahweh and not I am able to turn back.
௩௫அவன் அவளைப் பார்த்தவுடனே தன்னுடைய உடைகளைக் கிழித்துக்கொண்டு: ஐயோ, என் மகளே, என்னை மிகவும் மனவேதனை அடையவும் கலங்கவும் செய்கிறாய்; நான் யெகோவாவை நோக்கி என் வாயைத் திறந்து சொல்லிவிட்டேன்; அதை நான் மாற்றக்கூடாது என்றான்.
36 And she said to him O father my you have opened mouth your to Yahweh do to me just as it has come out from mouth your after that he did for you Yahweh vengeance from enemies your from [the] people of Ammon.
௩௬அப்பொழுது அவள்: என் தகப்பனே, நீர் யெகோவாவை நோக்கி உம்முடைய வாயைத் திறந்து பேசினீரல்லவோ? அம்மோன் மக்களாகிய உம்முடைய எதிரிகளுக்கு நீதியைச் சரிக்கட்டும் ஜெயத்தைக் யெகோவா உமக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியால், உம்முடைய வாயிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டபடியே எனக்குச் செய்யும் என்றாள்.
37 And she said to father her let it be done for me the thing this refrain from me two months so let me go and I will go down on the mountains so I may weep on virginiti my I (and companions my. *Q(K)*)
௩௭பின்னும் அவள் தன்னுடைய தகப்பனை நோக்கி: நீர் எனக்கு ஒரு காரியம் செய்யவேண்டும்; நான் மலைகளின்மேல் போய்த்திரிந்து, நானும் என்னுடைய தோழிகளும் என்னுடைய கன்னிமையினிமித்தம் துக்கங்கொண்டாட, எனக்கு இரண்டு மாதங்கள் தவணைகொடும் என்றாள்.
38 And he said go and he sent away her two months and she went she and companions her and she wept on virginiti her on the mountains.
௩௮அதற்கு அவன்: போய்வா என்று அவளை இரண்டு மாதத்திற்கு அனுப்பிவிட்டான்; அவள் தன்னுடைய தோழிகளோடு போய்த் தன்னுடைய கன்னிமையினிமித்தம் மலைகளின்மேல் துக்கங்கொண்டாடி,
39 And it was from [the] end of - two months and she returned to father her and he did to her vow his which he had vowed and she not she had known a man and it was a custom in Israel.
௩௯இரண்டு மாதம் முடிந்தபின்பு, தன்னுடைய தகப்பனிடம் திரும்பிவந்தாள்; அப்பொழுது அவன் செய்திருந்த தன்னுடைய பொருத்தனையின்படி அவளுக்குச் செய்தான்; அவள் திருமணம் ஆகாத கன்னியாகவே வாழ்ந்து மரித்து விட்டாள்.
40 From days - days towards they go [the] daughters of Israel to recount for [the] daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite four days in the year.
௪0இதினிமித்தம் இஸ்ரவேலின் மகள்கள் வருடந்தோறும் போய், நான்கு நாட்கள் கீலேயாத்தியனான யெப்தாவின் மகளைக்குறித்துப் புலம்புவது இஸ்ரவேலிலே வழக்கமானது.
