Judges 11
1 And Jephthah the Gileadite he was a mighty [man] of strength and he [was] [the] son of a woman a prostitute and he fathered Gilead Jephthah.
Existia então Jefté, gileadita, homem valente, filho de uma prostituta, ao qual havia gerado Gileade.
2 And she bore [the] wife of Gilead to him sons and they grew up [the] sons of the wife and they drove out Jephthah and they said to him not you will have an inheritance in [the] house of father our for [are] [the] son of a woman another you.
E a mulher de Gileade também lhe havia dado à luz filhos; os quais quando foram grandes, lançaram fora a Jefté, dizendo-lhe: Não herdarás na casa de nosso pai, porque és bastardo.
3 And he fled Jephthah [away] from before brothers his and he dwelt in [the] land of Tob and they joined themselves to Jephthah men unprincipled and they went out with him.
Fugindo, pois, Jefté por causa de seus irmãos, habitou em terra de Tobe; e juntaram-se com ele homens ociosos, os quais com ele saíam.
4 And it was from days and they fought [the] people of Ammon with Israel.
E aconteceu que depois de dias os filhos de Amom fizeram guerra contra Israel:
5 And it was just when they fought [the] people of Ammon with Israel and they went [the] elders of Gilead to fetch Jephthah from [the] land of Tob.
E quando os filhos de Amom tinham guerra contra Israel, os anciãos de Gileade foram para fazer voltar a Jefté da terra de Tobe;
6 And they said to Jephthah come! and you will become of us a commander so let us fight against [the] people of Ammon.
E disseram a Jefté: Vem, e serás nosso capitão, para que lutemos com os filhos de Amom.
7 And he said Jephthah to [the] elders of Gilead ¿ not you did you hate me and did you drive out? me from [the] house of father my and why? have you come to me now just when [is] distress to you.
E Jefté respondeu aos anciãos de Gileade: Não me odiastes, e me lançastes da casa de meu pai? por que pois vindes agora a mim quando estais em aflição?
8 And they said [the] elders of Gilead to Jephthah therefore now we have returned to you and you will come with us and you will fight against [the] people of Ammon and you will become of us chief of all [the] inhabitants of Gilead.
E os anciãos de Gileade responderam a Jefté: Por esta mesma causa voltamos agora a ti, para que venhas conosco, e lutes contra os filhos de Amom, e nos sejas cabeça a todos os que moramos em Gileade.
9 And he said Jephthah to [the] elders of Gilead if [are] bringing back you me to fight against [the] people of Ammon and he will deliver up Yahweh them before me I I will become of you chief.
Jefté então disse aos anciãos de Gileade: Se me fazeis voltar para que lute contra os filhos de Amom, e o SENHOR os entregar diante de mim, serei eu vossa cabeça?
10 And they said [the] elders of Gilead to Jephthah Yahweh he will be hearing between us if not according to word your so we will do.
E os anciãos de Gileade responderam a Jefté: O SENHOR ouça entre nós, se não fizermos como tu dizes.
11 And he went Jephthah with [the] elders of Gilead and they made the people him over them into chief and into commander and he spoke Jephthah all words his before Yahweh in Mizpah.
Então Jefté veio com os anciãos de Gileade, e o povo o elegeu por seu cabeça e príncipe; e Jefté falou todas seus palavras diante do SENHOR em Mispá.
12 And he sent Jephthah messengers to [the] king of [the] people of Ammon saying what? [is] to me and to you that you have come to me to wage war against land my.
E enviou Jefté embaixadores ao rei dos amonitas, dizendo: Que tens tu comigo que vieste a mim para fazer guerra em minha terra?
13 And he said [the] king of [the] people of Ammon to [the] messengers of Jephthah that it took Israel land my when came up it from Egypt from [the] Arnon and to the Jabbok and to the Jordan and therefore restore! them in peace.
E o rei dos amonitas respondeu aos embaixadores de Jefté: Porquanto Israel tomou minha terra, quando subiu do Egito, desde Arnom até Jaboque e o Jordão; portanto, devolve-as agora em paz.
14 And he repeated again Jephthah and he sent messengers to [the] king of [the] people of Ammon.
E Jefté voltou a enviar outros embaixadores ao rei dos amonitas,
15 And he said to him thus he says Jephthah not it has taken Israel [the] land of Moab and [the] land of [the] people of Ammon.
Para dizer-lhe: Jefté disse assim: Israel não tomou terra de Moabe, nem terra dos filhos de Amom:
16 That when came up they from Egypt and it went Israel in the wilderness to [the] sea of reed[s] and it came Kadesh towards.
Mas subindo Israel do Egito, andou pelo deserto até o mar Vermelho, e chegou a Cades.
17 And it sent Israel messengers - to [the] king of Edom - saying let me pass please in land your and not he listened [the] king of Edom and also to [the] king of Moab it sent and not he was willing and it remained Israel at Kadesh.
Então Israel enviou embaixadores ao rei de Edom, dizendo: Eu te rogo que me deixes passar por tua terra. Mas o rei de Edom não os escutou. Enviou também ao rei de Moabe; o qual tampouco quis: ficou, portanto, Israel em Cades.
18 And it went in the wilderness and it went around [the] land of Edom and [the] land of Moab and it came from [the] rising of [the] sun of [the] land of Moab and they encamped! on [the] other side of [the] Arnon and not they went in [the] territory of Moab for [the] Arnon [was] [the] border of Moab.
Depois, indo pelo deserto, rodeou a terra de Edom e a terra de Moabe, e vindo pelo lado oriental da terra de Moabe, assentou seu acampamento de outra parte de Arnom, e não entraram pelo termo de Moabe: porque Arnom é termo de Moabe.
19 And it sent Israel messengers to Sihon [the] king of the Amorite[s] [the] king of Heshbon and it said to him Israel let us pass please in land your to own place my.
E enviou Israel embaixadores a Seom rei pelos amorreus, rei de Hesbom, dizendo-lhe: Rogo-te que me deixes passar por tua terra até meu lugar.
20 And not he trusted Sihon Israel to pass in territory his and he gathered Sihon all people his and they encamped at Jahaz and he fought with Israel.
Mas Seom não confiou em Israel para dar-lhe passagem por seu termo; antes juntando Seom toda sua gente, pôs acampamento em Jaza, e lutou contra Israel.
21 And he gave Yahweh [the] God of Israel Sihon and all people his in [the] hand of Israel and they defeated them and it took possession of Israel all [the] land of the Amorite[s] [who] dwelt of the land that.
Porém o SENHOR, o Deus de Israel, entregou Seom e todo o seu povo na mão de Israel, e os derrotou; e Israel tomou posse de toda a terra dos amorreus que habitavam naquela terra.
22 And they took possession of all [the] territory of the Amorite[s] from [the] Arnon and to the Jabbok and from the wilderness and to the Jordan.
Possuíram também todo aquele termo dos amorreus desde Arnom até Jaboque, e desde o deserto até o Jordão.
23 And now Yahweh - [the] God of Israel he has dispossessed the Amorite[s] from before people his Israel and you will you take possession of? it.
Assim que o SENHOR o Deus de Israel expulsou os amorreus diante de seu povo Israel: e o hás de possuir tu?
24 ¿ Not [that] which he will cause to possess you Chemosh god your it will you take possession of and all that he has dispossessed Yahweh God our from before us it we will take possession of.
Se Camos teu Deus te expulsasse algum, não o possuirias tu? Assim nós possuiremos a tudo aquilo que o SENHOR expulsou nosso Deus de diante de nós.
25 And now ¿ really good [are] you more than Balak [the] son of Zippor [the] king of Moab ¿ really did he quarrel with Israel or? ever did he wage war against them.
És tu agora em algo melhor que Balaque filho de Zipor, rei de Moabe? Teve ele questão contra Israel, ou fez guerra contra eles?
26 When dwelt Israel in Heshbon and in daughters its and in Aroer and in daughters its and in all the cities which [were] on [the] sides of [the] Arnon three hundred year[s] and why? not did you recover [them] at the time that.
Quando Israel esteve habitando por trezentos anos a Hesbom e suas aldeias, a Aroer e suas aldeias, e todas as cidades que estão aos termos de Arnom, por que não as reclamaste nesse tempo?
27 And I not I have sinned to you and you [are] doing with me evil by waging war against me may he judge Yahweh the judge this day between [the] people of Israel and between [the] people of Ammon.
Assim que, eu nada pequei contra ti, mas tu fazes mal comigo fazendo-me guerra: o SENHOR, que é o juiz, julgue hoje entre os filhos de Israel e os filhos de Amom.
28 And not he listened [the] king of [the] people of Ammon to [the] words of Jephthah which he sent to him.
Mas o rei dos filhos de Amom não atendeu os argumentos de Jefté que lhe enviou.
29 And it was on Jephthah [the] spirit of Yahweh and he passed through Gilead and Manasseh and he passed through Mizpah of Gilead and from Mizpah of Gilead he he passed on [the] people of Ammon.
E o espírito do SENHOR foi sobre Jefté: e passou por Gileade e Manassés; e dali passou a Mispá de Gileade; e de Mispá de Gileade passou aos filhos de Amom.
30 And he vowed Jephthah a vow to Yahweh and he said certainly [if] you will give [the] people of Ammon in hand my.
E Jefté fez voto ao SENHOR, dizendo: Se entregares aos amonitas em minhas mãos,
31 And it will be whatever comes out which it will come out from [the] doors of house my to meet me when return I in peace from [the] people of Ammon and it will belong to Yahweh and I will offer up it a burnt offering.
Qualquer um que me sair a receber das portas de minha casa, quando voltar dos amonitas em paz, será do SENHOR, e lhe oferecerei em holocausto.
32 And he passed on Jephthah to [the] people of Ammon to fight against them (and he gave them *L(abh)*) Yahweh in hand his.
Passou, pois, Jefté aos filhos de Amom para lutar contra eles; e o SENHOR os entregou em sua mão.
33 And he defeated them from Aroer and until coming you Minnith twenty citi[es] and to Abel Keramim a defeat great very and they were subdued [the] people of Ammon from before [the] people of Israel.
E os feriu de grandíssimo dano desde Aroer até chegar a Minite, vinte cidades; e até a Abel-Queramim. Assim foram dominados os amonitas diante dos filhos de Israel.
34 And he came Jephthah Mizpah to house his and there! daughter his [was] coming out to meet him with tambourines and with dancing and only she [was] an only [child] not [belonged] to him from him a son or a daughter.
E voltando Jefté a Mispá à sua casa, eis que sua filha lhe saiu a receber com adufes e danças, e era a única, a única sua; não tinha além dela outro filho nem filha.
35 And it was when saw he her and he tore clothes his and he said alas! O daughter my certainly you have brought low me and you you are among [those who] trouble me and I I have opened mouth my to Yahweh and not I am able to turn back.
E quando ele a viu, rompeu suas roupas dizendo: Ai, filha minha! De verdade me abateste, e tu és dos que me afligem: porque eu abri minha boca ao SENHOR, e não poderei retratar-me.
36 And she said to him O father my you have opened mouth your to Yahweh do to me just as it has come out from mouth your after that he did for you Yahweh vengeance from enemies your from [the] people of Ammon.
Ela então lhe respondeu: Pai meu, se abriste tua boca ao SENHOR, faze de mim como saiu de tua boca, pois que o SENHOR fez vingança em teus inimigos os filhos de Amom.
37 And she said to father her let it be done for me the thing this refrain from me two months so let me go and I will go down on the mountains so I may weep on virginiti my I (and companions my. *Q(K)*)
E voltou a dizer a seu pai: Faze-me isto: deixa-me por dois meses que vá e desça pelos montes, e chore minha virgindade, eu e minhas companheiras.
38 And he said go and he sent away her two months and she went she and companions her and she wept on virginiti her on the mountains.
Ele então disse: Vai. E deixou-a por dois meses. E ela foi com suas companheiras, e chorou sua virgindade pelos montes.
39 And it was from [the] end of - two months and she returned to father her and he did to her vow his which he had vowed and she not she had known a man and it was a custom in Israel.
Passados os dois meses, voltou a seu pai, e fez dela conforme seu voto que havia feito. E ela nunca conheceu homem.
40 From days - days towards they go [the] daughters of Israel to recount for [the] daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite four days in the year.
De aqui foi o costume em Israel que de ano em ano iam as virgens de Israel a lamentar à filha de Jefté gileadita, quatro dias no ano.
