Joshua 3
1 And he rose early Joshua in the morning and they set out from Shittim and they came to the Jordan he and all [the] people Israel and they stayed there before they passed over.
Jozue wstał wcześnie rano i on oraz wszyscy synowie Izraela wyruszyli z Szittim, i przyszli nad Jordan; i tam przenocowali, zanim się przeprawili [przez rzekę].
2 And it was from [the] end of three days and they passed the officers in [the] midst of the camp.
A po upływie trzech dni przełożeni przeszli przez obóz;
3 And they commanded the people saying when see you [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh God your and the priests the Levites carrying it and you you will set out from place your and you will go behind it.
I rozkazali ludowi: Gdy ujrzycie arkę przymierza PANA, swojego Boga, i niosących ją kapłanów Lewitów, wy także wyruszycie ze swego miejsca i pójdziecie za nią.
4 Nevertheless - a distance it will be between you (and between it *Q(k)*) about two thousand cubit[s] by measurement may not you draw near to it so that that you may know the way which you will go in it for not you have passed in the way from yesterday three days ago.
Pomiędzy wami a nią niech będzie jednak odległość około dwóch tysięcy łokci. Nie zbliżajcie się do niej, abyście poznali drogę, którą macie iść, gdyż nie szliście tą drogą nigdy dotąd.
5 And he said Joshua to the people consecrate yourselves for tomorrow he will do Yahweh in midst your wonders.
Wtedy Jozue powiedział do ludu: Poświęćcie się, gdyż jutro PAN dokona cudów pośród was.
6 And he said Joshua to the priests saying lift up [the] ark of the covenant and pass over before the people and they lifted up [the] ark of the covenant and they went before the people.
Do kapłanów zaś Jozue powiedział: Weźcie arkę przymierza i idźcie przed ludem. Wzięli więc arkę przymierza i szli przed ludem.
7 And he said Yahweh to Joshua the day this I will begin to make great you in [the] eyes of all Israel that they will know! that just as I was with Moses I will be with you.
I PAN powiedział do Jozuego: Dziś zacznę cię wywyższać na oczach całego Izraela, aby poznali, że jak byłem z Mojżeszem, [tak] będę i z tobą.
8 And you you will command the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of the covenant saying when come you to [the] edge of [the] waters of the Jordan in the Jordan you will stand still.
Rozkaż kapłanom niosącym arkę przymierza: Gdy dojdziecie do brzegu wód Jordanu, zatrzymajcie się w Jordanie.
9 And he said Joshua to [the] people of Israel draw near hither and hear [the] words of Yahweh God your.
Wtedy Jozue powiedział do synów Izraela: Zbliżcie się i słuchajcie słów PANA, swojego Boga.
10 And he said Joshua by this you will know! that God living [is] in midst your and certainly he will dispossess from before you the Canaanite[s] and the Hittite[s] and the Hivite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Girgashite[s] and the Amorite[s] and the Jebusite[s].
I Jozue dodał: Po tym poznacie, że Bóg żywy jest wśród was i że na pewno wypędzi przed wami Kananejczyków, Chetytów, Chiwwitów, Peryzzytów, Girgaszytów, Amorytów i Jebusytów.
11 Here! [the] ark of the covenant [the] lord of all the earth [is] about to pass on before you in the Jordan.
Oto arka przymierza PANA całej ziemi przejdzie przed wami przez Jordan.
12 And therefore take for yourselves two [plus] ten man from [the] tribes of Israel a man one a man one to the tribe.
Teraz więc wybierzcie sobie dwunastu mężczyzn z pokoleń Izraela, po jednym z każdego pokolenia;
13 And it will be when rest [the] soles of [the] feet of the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of Yahweh [the] lord of all the earth in [the] waters of the Jordan [the] waters of the Jordan they will be cut off! the waters that are coming down from to above so they may stand a heap one.
A gdy stopy kapłanów niosących arkę PANA, Pana całej ziemi, staną w wodzie Jordanu, wtedy wody Jordanu się rozdzielą i wody płynące z góry staną jak jeden wał.
14 And it was when set out the people from tents their to pass over the Jordan and the priests [the] bearers of the ark the covenant before the people.
Gdy więc lud wyruszył ze swoich namiotów, aby przeprawić się przez Jordan, a kapłani niosący arkę przymierza [szli] przed ludem;
15 And just as came [the] bearers of the ark to the Jordan and [the] feet of the priests [the] bearers of the ark they were dipped in [the] edge of the waters and the Jordan it is full over all banks its all [the] days of harvest.
I kiedy niosący arkę przyszli nad Jordan, a nogi kapłanów, którzy nieśli arkę, zanurzyły się w wodzie przy brzegu (Jordan bowiem wzbiera i wylewa na wszystkie swoje brzegi przez cały czas żniwa);
16 And they stood the waters which came down from to above they rose a heap one far away very (from Adam *Q(K)*) the city which [is] from [the] side of Zarethan and which went down to [the] sea of the Arabah [the] Sea of Salt they were complete they were cut off and the people they passed over before Jericho.
Wtedy wody płynące z góry zatrzymały się i stanęły jak jeden wał bardzo daleko od miasta Adam [leżącego] w pobliżu Sartan. A te, które płynęły w dół do Morza Pustyni, czyli do Morza Słonego, odpłynęły zupełnie. I tak lud przeprawił się naprzeciw Jerycha.
17 And they stood the priests [the] bearers of the ark [the] covenant of Yahweh on the dry ground in [the] middle of the Jordan firmly and all Israel [were] passing over on the dry ground until that they had finished all the nation to pass over the Jordan.
A kapłani niosący arkę przymierza PANA stali pewnie na suchej ziemi pośrodku Jordanu, a wszyscy Izraelici szli po suchej ziemi, aż cały lud przeprawił się przez Jordan.
