Joshua 3
1 And he rose early Joshua in the morning and they set out from Shittim and they came to the Jordan he and all [the] people Israel and they stayed there before they passed over.
Tad Jozuas cēlās no rīta agri, un tie aizgāja no Sitimas un nāca līdz Jardānei, viņš un visi Israēla bērni. Un tie tur palika par nakti, pirms pārcēlās.
2 And it was from [the] end of three days and they passed the officers in [the] midst of the camp.
Un pēc trim dienām tie virsnieki gāja pa lēģeri
3 And they commanded the people saying when see you [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh God your and the priests the Levites carrying it and you you will set out from place your and you will go behind it.
Un pavēlēja tiem ļaudīm sacīdami: kad jūs redzēsiet Tā Kunga, sava Dieva, derības šķirstu un tos priesterus, Levja bērnus, to nesam, tad ceļaties no savas vietas un ejat viņam pakaļ.
4 Nevertheless - a distance it will be between you (and between it *Q(k)*) about two thousand cubit[s] by measurement may not you draw near to it so that that you may know the way which you will go in it for not you have passed in the way from yesterday three days ago.
Tomēr lai starpa paliek starp jums un viņu līdz divi tūkstošu olekšu plata, un neejat tam tuvu, lai jūs to ceļu varat zināt, kas jums jāiet, jo jūs šo ceļu vēl nekad neesat gājuši.
5 And he said Joshua to the people consecrate yourselves for tomorrow he will do Yahweh in midst your wonders.
Un Jozuas sacīja uz tiem ļaudīm: svētījaties, jo rītā Tas Kungs jūsu starpā darīs brīnumus.
6 And he said Joshua to the priests saying lift up [the] ark of the covenant and pass over before the people and they lifted up [the] ark of the covenant and they went before the people.
Un Jozuas runāja uz tiem priesteriem sacīdams: ņemat derības šķirstu un ejat pāri ļaužu priekšā. Tad tie ņēma derības šķirstu un gāja tiem ļaudīm priekšā.
7 And he said Yahweh to Joshua the day this I will begin to make great you in [the] eyes of all Israel that they will know! that just as I was with Moses I will be with you.
Un Tas Kungs sacīja uz Jozua: šodien Es sākšu tevi paaugstināt visa Israēla acīs; lai tie zin, ka Es būšu ar tevi, kā esmu bijis ar Mozu.
8 And you you will command the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of the covenant saying when come you to [the] edge of [the] waters of the Jordan in the Jordan you will stand still.
Un tiem priesteriem, kas to derības šķirstu nes, tev būs pavēlēt un sacīt: kad jūs nākat Jardānes malā pie ūdens, tad apstājaties pie Jardānes.
9 And he said Joshua to [the] people of Israel draw near hither and hear [the] words of Yahweh God your.
Un Jozuas sacīja uz Israēla bērniem: nāciet šurp un klausāties Tā Kunga, sava Dieva, vārdus.
10 And he said Joshua by this you will know! that God living [is] in midst your and certainly he will dispossess from before you the Canaanite[s] and the Hittite[s] and the Hivite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Girgashite[s] and the Amorite[s] and the Jebusite[s].
Un Jozuas sacīja: pie tam jums būs zināt, ka Tas dzīvais Dievs ir jūsu vidū, un ka Viņš izdzīdams izdzīs jūsu priekšā Kanaāniešus un Hetiešus un Hiviešus un Fereziešus un Ģirgaziešus un Amoriešus un Jebusiešus.
11 Here! [the] ark of the covenant [the] lord of all the earth [is] about to pass on before you in the Jordan.
Redzi, visas pasaules valdītāja derības šķirsts ies jūsu priekšā pāri pār Jardāni.
12 And therefore take for yourselves two [plus] ten man from [the] tribes of Israel a man one a man one to the tribe.
Tad nu ņemat sev divpadsmit vīrus no Israēla ciltīm, no ikvienas cilts vienu vīru.
13 And it will be when rest [the] soles of [the] feet of the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of Yahweh [the] lord of all the earth in [the] waters of the Jordan [the] waters of the Jordan they will be cut off! the waters that are coming down from to above so they may stand a heap one.
Un kad to priesteru kājas, kas Tā Kunga, visas pasaules valdītāja, šķirstu nes, nolaidīsies Jardānes ūdenī, tad Jardānes ūdens apstāsies, tas ūdens, kas no augšienes tek, un stāvēs vienā kopā.
14 And it was when set out the people from tents their to pass over the Jordan and the priests [the] bearers of the ark the covenant before the people.
Un kad tie ļaudis no saviem dzīvokļiem cēlās, iet pār Jardāni, un tie priesteri nesa derības šķirstu ļaužu priekšā,
15 And just as came [the] bearers of the ark to the Jordan and [the] feet of the priests [the] bearers of the ark they were dipped in [the] edge of the waters and the Jordan it is full over all banks its all [the] days of harvest.
Un kad tie šķirsta nesēji nāca līdz Jardānei, un kad to priesteru kājas, kas to šķirstu nesa, upmalā iebrida ūdenī, (bet Jardāne līdz pašām malām ir uzplūdusi cauru pļaujamo laiku),
16 And they stood the waters which came down from to above they rose a heap one far away very (from Adam *Q(K)*) the city which [is] from [the] side of Zarethan and which went down to [the] sea of the Arabah [the] Sea of Salt they were complete they were cut off and the people they passed over before Jericho.
Tad tas ūdens, kas no augšienes nāca, nostājās stāvu vienā kopā, labi tālu no Adamas pilsētas, kas sānis Cartanai; bet tas, kas tecēja uz leju, klajuma jūrā, (proti) sāls jūrā, tas pavisam izsīka. Tad tie ļaudis gāja pāri, Jērikum pretī.
17 And they stood the priests [the] bearers of the ark [the] covenant of Yahweh on the dry ground in [the] middle of the Jordan firmly and all Israel [were] passing over on the dry ground until that they had finished all the nation to pass over the Jordan.
Bet tie priesteri, kas Tā Kunga derības šķirstu nesa, stāvēja sausumā Jardānes vidū, un viss Israēls gāja pāri pa sausumu, tiekams visi ļaudis bija pārgājuši pār Jardāni.
