Joshua 23
1 And it was from days many after that he had given rest Yahweh to Israel from all enemies their from round about and Joshua he was old he had come in days.
A poslije mnogo vremena, pošto Gospod umiri Izrailja od svijeh neprijatelja njegovijeh unaokolo, i Isus bi star i vremenit,
2 And he summoned Joshua all Israel elders its and leaders its and judges its and officials its and he said to them I I am old I have come in days.
Dozva Isus sve sinove Izrailjeve, starješine njihove i poglavare njihove i sudije i upravitelje njihove, i reèe im: ja sam star i vremenit;
3 And you you have seen all that he has done Yahweh God your to all the nations these from before you for Yahweh God your he [is] the [one who] has been fighting for you.
A vi ste vidjeli sve što je uèinio Gospod Bog vaš svijem ovijem narodima vas radi, jer je Gospod Bog vaš sam vojevao za vas.
4 See I have made fall to you the nations which remain these an inheritance for tribes your from the Jordan and all the nations which I have cut off and the sea great [the] setting of the sun.
Vidite, razdijelio sam vam ždrijebom ove narode, koji ostaše, u našljedstvo po plemenima vašim od Jordana, sve narode koje istrijebih do velikoga mora na zapad.
5 And Yahweh God your he he will drive out them from before you and he will dispossess them from to before you and you will take possession of land their just as he spoke Yahweh God your to you.
I Gospod Bog vaš razagnaæe ih ispred vas i istrijebiæe ih ispred vas, i naslijediæete zemlju njihovu, kao što vam je rekao Gospod Bog vaš.
6 And you will be strong very to take care and to do every [thing] written in [the] book of [the] law of Moses to not to turn aside from it right [hand] and left [hand].
Zato ukrijepite se dobro da držite i tvorite sve što je napisano u knjizi zakona Mojsijeva, da ne otstupate od njega ni nadesno ni nalijevo,
7 To not to go among the nations these which remain these with you and [the] name of gods their not you must bring to remembrance and not you must cause to swear and not you must serve them and not you must bow down to them.
Da se ne pomješate s tijem narodima što su ostali meðu vama, i da ne pominjete imena bogova njihovijeh, i da se ne kunete njima niti da im služite niti im se klanjate.
8 That except to Yahweh God your you will cling just as you have done until the day this.
Nego se držite Gospoda Boga svojega, kao što ste èinili do danas.
9 And he has dispossessed Yahweh from before you nations great and mighty and you not he has stood anyone in faces your until the day this.
Zato je Gospod odagnao ispred vas narode velike i jake, i niko se nije održao pred vama do danas.
10 A man one of you he puts to flight a thousand for - Yahweh God your he [is] the [one who] fights for you just as he spoke to you.
Jedan èovjek izmeðu vas goniæe tisuæu, jer Gospod Bog vaš vojuje za vas, kao što vam je rekao.
11 And you will take heed exceedingly to selves your to love Yahweh God your.
Pazite dakle dobro da ljubite Gospoda Boga svojega.
12 That - except ever you will turn back and you will cling to [the] remainder of the nations these which remain these with you and you will intermarry with them and you will go among them and they among you.
Jer ako se odvratite i pristanete za ostatkom tijeh naroda što su još ostali meðu vama, i s njima se oprijateljite i pomiješate se s njima i oni s vama,
13 Certainly you will know that not he will increase Yahweh God your to dispossess the nations these from to before you and they will become for you a trap and a snare and a scourge in sides your and thorns in view your until perish you from on the land good this which he has given to you Yahweh God your.
Znajte zaista da Gospod Bog vaš neæe više izgoniti tijeh naroda ispred vas, nego æe vam oni postati zamka i mreža, i biè bokovima vašim, i trnje oèima vašim, dokle ne izginete na ovoj dobroj zemlji koju vam je dao Gospod Bog vaš.
14 And here! I [am] about to go this day in [the] way of all the earth and you know with all heart your and with all being your that not it has fallen a word one of all - the words good which he spoke Yahweh God your on you everything they have come to you not it has fallen of it a word one.
I evo, ja idem sada kuda ide sve na zemlji; poznajte dakle svijem srcem svojim i svom dušom svojom da nije izostalo ništa od svega dobra što vam je obrekao Gospod Bog vaš, sve vam se navršilo, nije izostalo ništa.
15 And it will be just as it has come on you every word good which he spoke Yahweh God your to you so he will bring Yahweh on you every word bad until has destroyed he you from on the land good this which he has given to you Yahweh God your.
A kako vam se navršilo svako dobro što vam je obrekao Gospod Bog vaš, tako æe Gospod pustiti na vas sva zla, dokle vas ne istrijebi s ove dobre zemlje, koju vam je dao Gospod Bog vaš,
16 When transgress you [the] covenant of Yahweh God your which he commanded you and you will go and you will serve gods other and you will bow down to them and it will burn [the] anger of Yahweh on you and you will perish quickly from on the land good which he has given to you.
Ako prestupite zavjet Gospoda Boga svojega koji vam je zapovjedio, i otidete da služite drugim bogovima, i stanete im se klanjati; i raspaliæe se gnjev Gospodnji na vas, i nestaæe vas brzo s te dobre zemlje, koju vam je dao.
