Joshua 18
1 And they assembled all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel Shiloh and they caused to dwell there [the] tent of meeting and the land it was subdued before them.
Inhlangano yonke-ke yabantwana bakoIsrayeli yabuthana eShilo, yamisa khona ithente lenhlangano. Lelizwe lalehliselwe phansi phambi kwabo.
2 And they remained among [the] people of Israel which not they had divided inheritance their seven tribes.
Kwasekusele phakathi kwabantwana bakoIsrayeli izizwe eziyisikhombisa ezazingabelwanga ilifa lazo.
3 And he said Joshua to [the] people of Israel until when? [will] you [be] showing yourself slack to go to take possession of the land which he has given to you Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your.
UJoshuwa wasesithi kubantwana bakoIsrayeli: Koze kube nini lidonda ukuyakudla ilifa lelizwe iNkosi uNkulunkulu waboyihlo elinike lona?
4 Provide for yourselves three men to the tribe so I may send them and they may arise so they may walk in the land so they may describe in writing it to [the] mouth of inheritance their so they may come to me.
Zinikeni amadoda amathathu ngesizwe, ngiwathume, asukume ahambe adabule ilizwe, alibhale ngokwelifa lazo, abuye kimi.
5 And they will divide among themselves it seven portions Judah it will remain on territory its from [the] south and [the] house of Joseph they will remain on territory their from [the] north.
Azalehlukanisa libe yizabelo eziyisikhombisa; uJuda uzahlala emngceleni wakhe eningizimu, labendlu kaJosefa bahlale emngceleni wabo enyakatho.
6 And you you will describe in writing the land seven portions and you will bring [it] to me hither and I will throw for you a lot here before Yahweh God our.
Lani lizabhala ilizwe ngezigaba eziyisikhombisa, beseliletha kimi lapha, ukuthi ngiliphosele inkatho lapha phambi kweNkosi uNkulunkulu wethu.
7 For not a portion [will belong] to the Levites in midst your for [is] [the] priesthood of Yahweh inheritance its and Gad and Reuben and [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh they have received inheritance their from [the] other side of the Jordan east-ward which he gave to them Moses [the] servant of Yahweh.
Ngoba amaLevi kawalasabelo phakathi kwenu, ngoba ubupristi beNkosi buyilifa labo. LoGadi loRubeni lengxenye yesizwe sakoManase sebethethe ilifa labo ngaphetsheya kweJordani empumalanga, uMozisi inceku yeNkosi eyabanika lona.
8 And they arose the men and they went and he commanded Joshua those [who] went to describe in writing the land saying go and walk about in the land and describe in writing it and return to me and here I will throw for you a lot before Yahweh in Shiloh.
Asesuka amadoda ahamba. UJoshuwa wawalaya ahambayo ukubhala ilizwe esithi: Hambani lidabule ilizwe lilibhale, libuyele kimi, ukuze ngiliphosele inkatho lapha phambi kweNkosi eShilo.
9 And they went the men and they passed in the land and they described in writing it to the cities into seven portions on a scroll and they came to Joshua to the camp Shiloh.

10 And he threw for them Joshua a lot in Shiloh before Yahweh and he apportioned there Joshua the land to [the] people of Israel according to divisions their.
UJoshuwa wasebaphosela inkatho eShilo phambi kweNkosi; uJoshuwa wasebabela lapho ilizwe abantwana bakoIsrayeli ngokwezigaba zabo.
11 And it came up [the] lot of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Benjamin to clans their and it went out [the] territory of lot their [was] between [the] descendants of Judah and between [the] descendants of Joseph.
Inkatho yesizwe sabantwana bakoBhenjamini yavela ngokwensendo zabo. Lomngcele wenkatho yabo waphuma phakathi kwabantwana bakoJuda labantwana bakoJosefa.
12 And it was to them the border of [the] side of north-ward from the Jordan and it goes up the border to [the] slope of Jericho from [the] north and it goes up in the hill country west-ward (and they are *Q(K)*) extremities its [the] wilderness of towards Beth Aven.
Lomngcele wabo ngenyakatho wasukela eJordani, lomngcele wenyuka ewatheni leJeriko enyakatho, wasusenyuka udabula entabeni usiya entshonalanga, lokuphuma kwawo kwaba senkangala yeBeti-Aveni.
13 And it passes on from there the border Luz towards to [the] slope of Luz south-ward that [is] Beth-el and it goes down the border Ataroth Addar on the mountain which [is] from [the] south of Beth Horon lower.
Lomngcele wedlula usuka lapho waya eLuzi, ewatheni leLuzi, eyiBhetheli, ngeningizimu; lomngcele wehlela eAtarothi-Adari, eduze lentaba engeningizimu kweBhethi-Horoni engaphansi.
14 And it turns the border and it turns to [the] side of [the] west south-ward from the mountain which [is] on [the] face of Beth Horon [the] south towards (and they are *Q(K)*) extremities its to Kiriath Baal that [is] Kiriath Jearim [the] city of [the] descendants of Judah this [is the] side of [the] west.
Umngcele wagoba-ke, waphenduka waya eceleni lentshonalanga ngeningizimu, kusukela entabeni emaqondana leBhethi-Horoni eningizimu; lokuphuma kwawo kwaba eKiriyathi-Bhali, eyiKiriyathi-Jeyarimi, umuzi wabantwana bakoJuda. Lolu luhlangothi lwentshonalanga.
15 And [the] side of [the] south [is] from [the] end of Kiriath Jearim and it goes out the border west-ward and it goes out to [the] spring of [the] waters of Nephtoah.
Lohlangothi lweningizimu lusephethelweni leKiriyathi-Jeyarimi; lomngcele waphuma waya entshonalanga, waphuma waya emthonjeni wamanzi weNefitowa.
16 And it goes down the border to [the] end of the mountain which [is] on [the] face [the] valley of Ben Hinnom which [is] in [the] valley of [the] Rephaites north-ward and it goes down [the] valley of [Ben] Hinnom to [the] slope of the Jebusite[s] [the] south towards and it goes down En Rogel.
Umngcele wasusehla usiya ephethelweni lentaba emaqondana lesihotsha sendodana kaHinomu esisesihotsheni seziqhwaga enyakatho, wasusehlela esihotsheni seHinomu ewatheni lamaJebusi eningizimu, wehlela eEni-Rogeli;
17 And it turns from [the] north and it goes out En Shemesh and it goes out to Geliloth which [is] opposite [the] ascent of Adummim and it goes down [the] stone of Bohan [the] son of Reuben.
wagoba usukela enyakatho waphuma eEni-Shemeshi, waphumela eGelilothi emaqondana lomqanso weAdumimi, wehlela elitsheni likaBohani indodana kaRubeni;
18 And it passes on to [the] slope opposite to the Arabah north-ward and it goes down the Arabah towards.
wadlulela ewatheni maqondana leAraba enyakatho, wehlela eAraba.
19 And it passes on the border to [the] slope of Beth Hoglah north-ward (and they are [the] extremities of *Q(K)*) the territory to [the] bay of [the] Sea of Salt north-ward to [the] end of the Jordan [the] south towards this [is the] border of [the] south.
Umngcele wasusedlulela ewatheni leBeti-Hogila enyakatho, lokuphuma komngcele kwakusethekwini loLwandle lweTshwayi enyakatho, ephethelweni leJordani ngeningizimu. Lo ngumngcele weningizimu.
20 And the Jordan it borders it to [the] side of east-ward this [was] [the] inheritance of [the] descendants of Benjamin to borders its around to clans their.

21 And they belonged the cities to [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Benjamin to clans their Jericho and Beth Hoglah and Emek Keziz.

22 And Beth Arabah and Zemaraim and Beth-el.

24 And Kephar (Ammonah *Q(K)*) and Ophni and Geba cities two [plus] ten and villages their.

26 And Mizpah and Kephirah and Mozah.

28 And Zelah Haeleph and the Jebusite that [is] Jerusalem Gibeah Kiriath cities four-teen and villages their this [was] [the] inheritance of [the] descendants of Benjamin to clans their.
