Joshua 17
1 And it belonged the lot to [the] tribe of Manasseh for he [was] [the] firstborn of Joseph to Makir [the] firstborn of Manasseh [the] father of Gilead for he he was a man of war and it belonged to him Gilead and Bashan.

2 And it belonged to [the] descendants of Manasseh who remained to clans their to [the] descendants of Abiezer and to [the] descendants of Helek and to [the] descendants of Asriel and to [the] descendants of Shechem and to [the] descendants of Hepher and to [the] descendants of Shemida these [were] [the] descendants of Manasseh [the] son of Joseph the males to clans their.
La asignación fue para el resto de la tribu de Manasés, a las familias de Abiezer, Jelec, Asriel, Siquén, Héfer y Semidá. Estos eran los descendientes varones de Manasés, hijo de José, por familias.
3 And to Zelophehad [the] son of Hepher [the] son of Gilead [the] son of Makir [the] son of Manasseh not they belonged to him sons that except daughters and these [are] [the] names of daughters his Mahlah and Noah Hoglah Milcah and Tirzah.
Pero Zelofehad, hijo de Héfer, hijo de Galaad, hijo de Maquir, hijo de Manasés, no tuvo hijos. Sólo tuvo hijas, cuyos nombres eran Majlá, Noa, Joglá, Milca y Tirsá.
4 And they drew near before Eleazar the priest and before - Joshua [the] son of Nun and before the leaders saying Yahweh he commanded Moses to give to us an inheritance in among brothers our and he gave to them to [the] mouth of Yahweh an inheritance in among [the] brothers of father their.
Se acercaron al sacerdote Eleazar, a Josué, hijo de Nun, y a los dirigentes, y les dijeron: “El Señor ordenó a Moisés que nos diera una asignación de tierras junto con nuestros hermanos”. Así que Josué les asignó tierras junto con sus hermanos, como el Señor había ordenado.
5 And they fell [the] allotted portions of Manasseh ten apart from [the] land of Gilead and Bashan which [is] from [the] other side of the Jordan.
En consecuencia, Manasés recibió diez cuotas de tierra junto a la tierra de Galaad y Basán, al otro lado del Jordán,
6 For [the] daughters of Manasseh they inherited an inheritance in among sons his and [the] land of Gilead it belonged to [the] descendants of Manasseh who remained.
porque las hijas de la tribu de Manasés recibieron una asignación junto con los hijos. (La tierra de Galaad había sido asignada al resto de los descendientes de Manasés).
7 And it was [the] border of Manasseh from Asher Micmethath which [is] on [the] face of Shechem and it goes the border to the south to [the] inhabitants of En Tappuah.
Elterritorio de la tribu de Manasés iba desde Aser hasta Micmetat, cerca de Siquem, y luego hacia el sur hasta el manantial de Tappúaj.
8 To Manasseh it belonged [the] land of Tappuah and Tappuah to [the] border of Manasseh [belonged] to [the] descendants of Ephraim.

9 And it goes down the border [the] wadi of Kanah [the] south towards to the wadi cities these [belonged] to Ephraim in among [the] cities of Manasseh and [the] border of Manasseh [was] from [the] north of the wadi and it was extremities its the sea towards.
Desde allí la frontera bajaba hasta el valle de Caná. Al sur del valle, algunos pueblos pertenecían a Efraín entre los pueblos de Manasés. El límite corría a lo largo del lado norte del valle y terminaba en el mar.
10 South-ward [belonged] to Ephraim and north-ward [belonged] to Manasseh and it was the sea border its and Asher they touch! from [the] north and Issachar from [the] east.
Al sur, la tierra pertenecía a Efraín, y al norte, a Manasés. El mar era el límite. Al norte limitaba con Aser, y al oriente con Isacar.
11 And it belonged to Manasseh in Issachar and in Asher Beth Shean and daughters its and Ibleam and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of Dor and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of En-dor and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of Taanach and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of Megiddo and daughters its [the] three of Napheth.
Las siguientes ciudades con sus aldeas le fueron asignadas a Manasés, pero se encontraban en la tierra de Isacar y Aser: Bet-san, Ibleam, Dor (en la costa), Endor, Taanac y Meguido.
12 And not they were able [the] descendants of Manasseh to take possession of the cities these and he was determined the Canaanite[s] to dwell in the land this.
Pero los descendientes de Manasés no pudieron tomar posesión de estas ciudades porque los cananeos estaban decididos a seguir ocupando la tierra.
13 And it was that they became strong [the] people of Israel and they made the Canaanite[s] forced labor and certainly not he dispossessed him.

14 And they spoke [the] descendants of Joseph with Joshua saying why? have you given to me an inheritance a lot one and a portion one and I [am] a people numerous to that until thus he has blessed me Yahweh.

15 And he said to them Joshua if [are] a people numerous you go up for yourself the forest towards and you will cut down for yourself there in [the] land of the Perizzite[s] and the Rephaites that it is narrow for you [the] hill country of Ephraim.
Josué les dijo: “Si son tantos, si la región montañosa de Efraín es demasiado pequeña para ustedes, vayan a despejar la tierra del bosque en el país de los ferezeos y de los refaítas”.
16 And they said [the] descendants of Joseph not it will be found for us the hill country and chariotry of iron [is] among all the Canaanite[s] who dwells in [the] land of the valley to [those] who [are] in Beth Shean and daughters its and to [those] who [are] in [the] valley of Jezreel.
Los descendientes de Josué respondieron: “La región montañosa no es lo suficientemente grande para nosotros, pero los cananeos que viven en las tierras bajas tienen carros de hierro, tanto los de Bet-sán y sus aldeas como los del valle de Jezreel”.
17 And he said Joshua to [the] house of Joseph to Ephraim and to Manasseh saying [are] a people numerous you and strength great [belongs] to you not it will belong to you a lot one.
Josué ledijo a las tribus de Efraín y Manasés, los descendientes de José: “Como son tantos y tan fuertes, se les dará más que una parte.
18 For [the] hill country it will belong to you for [is] forest it and you will cut down it and it will belong to you extremities its for you will dispossess the Canaanite[s] for chariotry of iron [belongs] to him that [is] strong he.
Seles asignará además la región montañosa. Aunque sea un bosque, lo despejarán y lo poseerán, de un extremo a otro. Expulsarán a los cananeos, aunque tengan carros de hierro, y aunque sean fuertes”.
