Joshua 16
1 And it went out the lot of [the] descendants of Joseph from [the] Jordan of Jericho to [the] waters of Jericho east-ward the wilderness going up from Jericho in the hill country Beth-el.
Inilah pembagian daerah untuk keturunan Yusuf. Garis batas selatan wilayah mereka dimulai dari sungai Yordan dekat kota Yeriko, di sebelah timur mata air Yeriko, melalui daerah belantara, dan naik ke Betel di pegunungan.
2 And it goes out from Beth-el Luz towards and it passes on to [the] border of the Arkite[s] Ataroth.

3 And it goes down west-ward to [the] border of the Japhletite[s] to [the] border of Beth Horon lower and to Gezer and they are (extremities its *Q(K)*) [the] sea towards.
Lalu garis batas itu menuju ke arah barat, turun ke daerah orang Yaflet, sampai daerah Bet Horon Hilir, terus menuju kota Gezer dan berakhir di Laut Tengah.
4 And they received their inheritance [the] descendants of Joseph Manasseh and Ephraim.
Itulah daerah yang diberikan kepada suku Manasye dan Efraim, anak Yusuf, sebagai warisan untuk mereka.
5 And it was [the] territory of [the] descendants of Ephraim to clans their and it was [the] border of inheritance their east-ward Ataroth Addar to Beth Horon upper.
Inilah batas-batas wilayah yang diberikan kepada marga-marga suku Efraim sebagai warisan mereka. Garis batas selatan wilayah mereka melewati sebelah timur kota Atarot Adar ke arah barat menuju Bet Horon Hulu,
6 And it goes out the border the sea towards Micmethath [is] from [the] north and it turns the border east-ward Taanath Shiloh and it passes by it from [the] east Janoah.
lalu menuju Laut Tengah. Di paling utara, garis batas itu mulai dari kota Mikmetat, kemudian membelok ke arah tenggara melewati kota Taanat Silo dan terus menuju ke sebelah timur kota Yanoah.
7 And it goes down from Janoah Ataroth and Naarah towards and it touches Jericho and it goes out the Jordan.
Dari Yanoah garis batas itu turun melewati kota Atarot dan Naharat, kemudian bersentuhan dengan Yeriko dan berakhir di sungai Yordan.
8 From Tappuah it goes the border west-ward [the] wadi of Kanah and they are extremities its the sea towards this [was] [the] inheritance of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Ephraim to clans their.
Garis batas utara dari kota Tapuah menuju ke arah barat, ke sungai Kana, dan menelusurinya sampai ke Laut Tengah. Itulah tanah warisan yang diberikan kepada marga-marga suku Efraim.
9 And the cities the separate places for [the] descendants of Ephraim [are] in [the] midst of [the] inheritance of [the] descendants of Manasseh all the cities and villages their.
Suku Efraim juga diberi beberapa kota di dalam wilayah suku Manasye beserta desa-desa sekitarnya.
10 And not they dispossessed the Canaanite[s] who dwelt in Gezer and he has dwelt the Canaanite[s] in [the] midst of Ephraim until the day this and he became a slave gang of laboring.
Namun, orang Efraim tidak mengusir orang Kanaan yang tinggal di kota Gezer. Karena itu sampai saat kitab ini ditulis, orang Kanaan masih tinggal di antara orang Efraim dan menjadi budak mereka.
