Joshua 16
1 And it went out the lot of [the] descendants of Joseph from [the] Jordan of Jericho to [the] waters of Jericho east-ward the wilderness going up from Jericho in the hill country Beth-el.
যোষেফের জন্য বরাদ্দ অংশ জর্ডনে, যিরীহোর জলাশয়ের পূর্বে শুরু হল, এবং সেখান থেকে মরুভূমি হয়ে বেথেলের পার্বত্য অঞ্চলে উঠে গেল।
2 And it goes out from Beth-el Luz towards and it passes on to [the] border of the Arkite[s] Ataroth.
তা বেথেল (অর্থাৎ, লূস) থেকে এগিয়ে গিয়ে অটারোতে অর্কীয়দের এলাকায় পৌঁছাল।
3 And it goes down west-ward to [the] border of the Japhletite[s] to [the] border of Beth Horon lower and to Gezer and they are (extremities its *Q(K)*) [the] sea towards.
সেখান থেকে পশ্চিমদিকে নেমে গিয়ে তা নিম্নতর বেথ-হোরোণের এলাকা ও গেষর হয়ে যফ্লেটীয়দের এলাকায় পৌঁছে, ভূমধ্যসাগরে গিয়ে শেষ হল।
4 And they received their inheritance [the] descendants of Joseph Manasseh and Ephraim.
অতএব যোষেফের বংশধর, মনঃশি ও ইফ্রয়িম, তাদের উত্তরাধিকার লাভ করল।
5 And it was [the] territory of [the] descendants of Ephraim to clans their and it was [the] border of inheritance their east-ward Ataroth Addar to Beth Horon upper.
গোষ্ঠী অনুসারে এই হল ইফ্রয়িমের এলাকা: তাদের উত্তরাধিকারের সীমানা পূর্বে অটারোৎ-অদ্দর থেকে উচ্চতর বেথ-হোরোণ পর্যন্ত গেল
6 And it goes out the border the sea towards Micmethath [is] from [the] north and it turns the border east-ward Taanath Shiloh and it passes by it from [the] east Janoah.

7 And it goes down from Janoah Ataroth and Naarah towards and it touches Jericho and it goes out the Jordan.
পরে যানোহ থেকে নেমে তা অটারোৎ ও নারার দিকে গেল, ও যিরীহো স্পর্শ করে তা জর্ডনে বেরিয়ে এল।
8 From Tappuah it goes the border west-ward [the] wadi of Kanah and they are extremities its the sea towards this [was] [the] inheritance of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Ephraim to clans their.
তপূহ থেকে সেই সীমানা পশ্চিমে কান্না গিরিখাতের দিকে গেল ও ভূমধ্যসাগরে গিয়ে শেষ হল। গোষ্ঠী অনুসারে, এই হল ইফ্রয়িম বংশের উত্তরাধিকার।
9 And the cities the separate places for [the] descendants of Ephraim [are] in [the] midst of [the] inheritance of [the] descendants of Manasseh all the cities and villages their.
এতে মনঃশি সন্তানদের উত্তরাধিকারের মধ্যে পড়া সেইসব নগর ও সেগুলির সন্নিহিত গ্রামগুলিও যুক্ত হল, যেগুলি ইফ্রয়িম সন্তানদের জন্য পৃথক করা হল।
10 And not they dispossessed the Canaanite[s] who dwelt in Gezer and he has dwelt the Canaanite[s] in [the] midst of Ephraim until the day this and he became a slave gang of laboring.
গেষরে বসবাসকারী কনানীয়দের তারা অধিকারচ্যুত করেনি; আজও পর্যন্ত সেই কনানীয়েরা ইফ্রয়িমের লোকদের সঙ্গে বসবাস করছে, কিন্তু বেগার শ্রমিকের কাজ করতে তাদের বাধ্য করা হয়েছে।
