Joshua 15
1 And it was the lot of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Judah to clans their to [the] border of Edom [the] wilderness of Zin [the] south towards from [the] end of [the] south.
Wilayah yang diberikan kepada marga-marga suku Yehuda terbentang ke arah selatan, ke perbatasan wilayah Edom sampai di belantara Zin, yang terletak di daerah paling selatan padang belantara Negev.
2 And it was to them border of [the] south from [the] end of [the] Sea of Salt from the bay which faces [the] south towards.

3 And it goes out to from [the] south of [the] ascent of scorpions and it passes on Zin towards and it goes up from [the] south of Kadesh Barnea and it passes on Hezron and it goes up Addar towards and it turns Karka towards.
dan terus ke sebelah selatan Jalur Pendakian Kalajengking, lalu ke belantara Zin, naik ke sebelah selatan kota Kades Barnea, melewati kota Hezron, naik ke kota Adar, membelok ke kota Karka,
4 And it passes on Azmon towards and it goes out [the] wadi of Egypt (and they are *Q(K)*) ([the] extremities of *LAH(b)*) the territory west-ward this it will be of you border of [the] south.
dan terus menuju kota Azmon. Dari sana garis batas itu menelusuri anak sungai di perbatasan Mesir sampai berakhir di Laut Tengah. Itulah batas selatan wilayah suku Yehuda, yang juga adalah batas selatan wilayah Israel.
5 And [the] border east-ward [is] [the] Sea of Salt to [the] end of the Jordan and [the] border of [the] side of north-ward [is] from [the] bay of the sea from [the] end of the Jordan.
Garis batas timur wilayah suku Yehuda adalah sepanjang tepi Laut Mati sampai ke muara sungai Yordan. Batas utara wilayah mereka mulai dari teluk di muara sungai Yordan,
6 And it goes up the border Beth Hoglah and it passes on from [the] north of Beth Arabah and it goes up the border [the] stone of Bohan [the] son of Reuben.
naik ke kota Bet Hogla, lalu melalui sebelah utara kota Bet Araba, kemudian naik ke Batu Bohan (Bohan adalah nama anak Ruben).
7 And it goes up the border - Debir towards from [the] valley of Achor and north-ward [it is] turning to Gilgal which [is] opposite to [the] ascent of Adummim which [is] from [the] south of the wadi and it passes on the border to [the] waters of En Shemesh and they are extremities its to En Rogel.
Dari sana garis batas itu melewati Lembah Musibah dan naik ke Debir, lalu belok ke arah utara menuju kota Gilgal, yang berseberangan dengan pendakian Adumim di sebelah selatan sungai. Lalu garis batas itu melewati mata air En Semes dan terus ke mata air En Rogel,
8 And it goes up the border [the] valley of Ben Hinnom to [the] slope of the Jebusite[s] from [the] south that [is] Jerusalem and it goes up the border to [the] top of the mountain which [is] on [the] face of [the] valley of [Ben] Hinnom west-ward which [is] at [the] end of [the] valley of [the] Rephaites north-ward.
kemudian naik melewati lembah Hinom ke bagian selatan lereng gunung, di mana terletak kota Yerusalem yang dikuasai orang Yebus. Dari sana garis batas itu terus naik ke puncak gunung yang terletak di sebelah barat lembah Hinom dan di ujung utara lembah Refaim.
9 And it turns the border from [the] top of the mountain to [the] spring of [the] waters of Nephtoah and it goes out to [the] cities of [the] mountain of Ephron and it turns the border Baalah that [is] Kiriath Jearim.
Dari puncak gunung itu, garis batas timur Yehuda terus menyusur ke mata air Neftoah, lalu ke kota-kota di gunung Efron. Dari sana garis batas itu membelok ke kota Baala, yang juga disebut Kiryat Yearim.
10 And it turns the border from Baalah west-ward to [the] mountain of Seir and it passes on to [the] slope of [the] mountain of Jearim from north-ward that [is] Kesalon and it goes down Beth Shemesh and it passes on Timnah.
Dari Baala, garis batas itu membelok ke arah barat menuju gunung Seir, lalu melewati kota Kesalon di lereng gunung Yearim di bagian utara, turun ke kota Bet Semes, dan terus melewati kota Timna.
11 And it goes out the border to [the] slope of Ekron north-ward and it turns the border Shikkeron towards and it passes on [the] mountain of Baalah and it goes out Jabneel and they are [the] extremities of the territory west-ward.
Dari sana, garis batas itu terus ke lereng gunung di sebelah utara kota Ekron, kemudian berbelok ke kota Sikron, melewati gunung Baala, lalu ke kota Yabneel, dan berakhir di Laut Tengah.
12 And [the] border of [the] west [is] the sea towards great and territory this [is] [the] border of [the] descendants of Judah around to clans their.
Batas barat wilayah suku Yehuda adalah pesisir Laut Tengah. Demikianlah batas-batas wilayah marga-marga suku Yehuda.
13 And to Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh someone gave a portion in among [the] descendants of Judah to [the] mouth of Yahweh to Joshua Kiriath Arba [the] father of Anak that [is] Hebron.
Sesuai perintah TUHAN kepada Yosua, Kaleb menerima wilayah di antara suku Yehuda, yaitu kota Kiryat Arba, yang disebut juga kota Hebron. Arba adalah nenek moyang orang Anakim.
14 And he dispossessed from there Caleb three [the] sons of Anak Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai those born of Anak.
Kaleb sudah mengusir ketiga suku dari bangsa Anakim, yaitu Sesai, Ahiman, dan Talmai.
15 And he went up from there against [the] inhabitants of Debir and [the] name of Debir before [was] Kiriath Sepher.
Dari sana dia mendaki ke kota Debir dan menyerang penduduknya. Kota Debir sebelumnya bernama Kiryat Sefer.
16 And he said Caleb [the one] who he will strike Kiriath Sepher and he will capture it and I will give to him Achsah daughter my to a wife.
Berkatalah Kaleb, “Kepada siapa pun yang menyerang kota Kiryat Sefer dan berhasil merebutnya, akan aku berikan Aksa, anak perempuanku, menjadi istrinya.”
17 And he captured it Othniel [the] son of Kenaz [the] brother of Caleb and he gave to him Achsah daughter his to a wife.
Otniel, anak Kenas saudara laki-laki Kaleb, berhasil merebut kota itu. Maka Kaleb memberikan Aksa, anak perempuannya, kepada Otniel menjadi istrinya.
18 And it was when came she and she incited him to ask from with father her a field and she went down from on the donkey and he said to her Caleb what? [is] to you.
Ketika mereka menikah, Aksa membujuk Otniel agar mereka meminta ladang kepada Kaleb, ayahnya. Lalu Aksa pergi menemui Kaleb. Setelah Aksa turun dari keledainya, Kaleb bertanya kepada Aksa, “Apa yang kamu inginkan?”
19 And she said give! to me a blessing for [the] land of the Negev you have given to me and you will give to me springs of water and he gave to her springs upper and springs lower.
Jawab Aksa, “Berikanlah berkat kepadaku. Ayah sudah memberikan kepadaku wilayah di padang belantara Negeb. Berikanlah juga mata air kepadaku.” Maka Kaleb memberikan dua mata air kepadanya, satu di bagian atas dan satu lagi di bagian bawah.
20 This [was] [the] inheritance of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Judah to clans their.
Berikut ini adalah kota-kota yang diberikan kepada marga-marga suku Yehuda sebagai warisan mereka.
21 And they were the cities from [the] end of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Judah to [the] border of Edom in the south Kabzeel and Eder and Jagur.
Di dekat perbatasan Edom di selatan, ada dua puluh sembilan kota suku Yehuda dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya. Kota-kota itu adalah Kabzeel, Eder, Yagur, Kina, Dimona, Adada, Kedes, Hazor, Yitnan, Zif, Telem, Bealot, Hazor Hadata, Keriot Hezron (atau Hazor), Amam, Sema, Molada, Hazar Gada, Hesmon, Bet Pelet, Hazar Sual, Bersyeba dan Biziotia, Baala, Iyim, Ezem, Eltolad, Kesil, Horma, Ziklag, Madmana, Sansana, Lebaot, Silhim, Ain, dan Rimon.
22 And Kinah and Dimonah and Adadah.
23 And Kedesh and Hazor and Ithnan.
24 Ziph and Telem and Bealoth.
25 And Hazor - Hadattah and Kerioth Hezron that [is] Hazor.
26 Amam and Shema and Moladah.
27 And Hazar Gaddah and Heshmon and Beth Pelet.
28 And Hazar Shual and Beer Sheba and Biziothiah.
29 Baalah and Iim and Ezem.
30 And Eltolad and Kesil and Hormah.
31 And Ziklag and Madmannah and Sansannah.
32 And Lebaoth and Shilhim and Ain and Rimmon all [the] cities [were] twenty and nine and villages their.
33 In the Shephelah Eshtaol and Zorah and Ashnah.
Di kaki-kaki bukit, ada empat belas kota suku Yehuda dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya. Kota-kota itu adalah Estaol, Zora, Asna, Zanoah, En Ganim, Tapuah, Enam, Yarmut, Adulam, Soko, Azeka, Saaraim, Aditaim, Gedera, dan Gederotaim.
34 And Zanoah and En Gannim Tappuah and Enam.
35 Jarmuth and Adullam Socoh and Azekah.
36 And Shaaraim and Adithaim and Gederah and Gederothaim cities four-teen and villages their.
37 Zenan and Hadashah and Migdal Gad.
Selanjutnya, ada enam belas kota dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya. Kota-kota itu adalah Zenan, Hadasa, Migdal Gad, Dilean, Mispa, Yokteel, Lakis, Bozkat, Eglon, Kabon, Lahmam, Kitlis, Gederot, Bet Dagon, Naama, dan Makeda.
38 And Dilean and Mizpah and Joktheel.
39 Lachish and Bozkath and Eglon.
40 And Cabbon and Lahmas and Kitlish.
41 And Gederoth Beth Dagon and Naamah and Makkedah cities six-teen and villages their.
42 Libnah and Ether and Ashan.
Juga ada sembilan kota dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya, yaitu Libna, Eter, Asan, Yiftah, Asna, Nezib, Kehila, Akzib, dan Maresa.
43 And Iphtah and Ashnah and Nezib.
44 And Keilah and Aczib and Mareshah cities nine and villages their.
45 Ekron and daughters its and villages its.
Juga Ekron dengan kota-kota kecil dan desa-desa di sekitarnya,
46 From Ekron and west-ward all that [is] on [the] hand of Ashdod and villages their.
dan daerah di sebelah barat Ekron sampai ke Laut Tengah, termasuk semua kota-kota dan desa-desa di dekat Asdod.
47 Ashdod daughters its and villages its Gaza daughters its and villages its to [the] wadi of Egypt and the sea (great *Q(K)*) and territory.
Juga Asdod dan Gaza dengan kota-kota kecil dan desa-desa di sekitarnya, sampai ke anak sungai di perbatasan Mesir dan pesisir pantai Laut Tengah.
48 And in the hill country Shamir and Jattir and Socoh.
Di daerah pegunungan, ada sebelas kota dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya. Kota-kota itu adalah Samir, Yatir, Soko, Dana, Kiryat Sana (yang disebut Debir), Anab, Estemo, Anim, Gosyen, Holon, dan Gilo.
49 And Dannah and Kiriath Sannah that [is] Debir.
50 And Anab and Eshtemoh and Anim.
51 And Goshen and Holon and Giloh cities one [plus] ten and villages their.
52 Arab and Rumah and Eshan.
Juga ada sembilan kota dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya, yaitu kota Arab, Duma, Esan, Yanim, Bet Tapuah, Afeka, Humta, Kiryat Arba (yang disebut Hebron), dan Zior.
53 (And Janum *Q(K)*) and Beth Tappuah and Aphekah.
54 And Humtah and Kiriath Arba that [is] Hebron and Zior cities nine and villages their.
55 Maon - Carmel and Ziph and Juttah.
Juga ada sepuluh kota dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya, yaitu Maon, Karmel, Zif, Yuta, Yisreel, Yokdeam, Zanoah, Kain, Gibea, dan Timna.
56 And Jezreel and Jokdeam and Zanoah.
57 Kain Gibeah and Timnah cities ten and villages their.
58 Halhul Beth Zur and Gedor.
Berikutnya ada enam kota dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya, yaitu Halhul, Bet Zur, Gedor, Maarat, Bet Anot, dan Eltekon.
59 And Maarath and Beth Anoth and Eltekon cities six and villages their.
60 Kiriath Baal that [is] Kiriath Jearim and Rabbah cities two and villages their.
Juga ada dua kota dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya, yaitu Kiryat Baal (yang disebut Kiryat Yearim) dan Raba.
61 In the wilderness Beth Arabah Middin and Secacah.
Di padang belantara, ada enam kota dengan desa-desa di sekitarnya. Kota-kota itu adalah Bet Araba, Midin, Sekaka, Nibsan, Kota Garam, dan En Gedi.
62 And Nibshan and [the] city of Salt and En Gedi cities six and villages their.
63 And the Jebusite[s] [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem not (they were able *Q(K)*) [the] descendants of Judah to dispossess them and he has dwelt the Jebusite[s] with [the] descendants of Judah in Jerusalem until the day this.
Akan tetapi, suku Yehuda tidak dapat mengusir orang Yebus yang tinggal di kota Yerusalem. Sampai kitab ini ditulis, orang Yebus masih tinggal di tengah-tengah suku Yehuda.
