Joshua 15
1 And it was the lot of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Judah to clans their to [the] border of Edom [the] wilderness of Zin [the] south towards from [the] end of [the] south.
૧યહૂદાપુત્રોના કુળને, તેઓનાં કુટુંબો પ્રમાણે, જે વારસો સોંપવામાં આવેલો હતો તે દક્ષિણે અદોમની સરહદ સુધી વિસ્તરેલો હતો. એટલે દક્ષિણ તરફ સીનના અરણ્ય સાથે, જે સરહદનો છેવાડો ભાગ હતો ત્યાં સુધી.
2 And it was to them border of [the] south from [the] end of [the] Sea of Salt from the bay which faces [the] south towards.
૨તેની સીમા દક્ષિણના ખારા સમુદ્રના છેડાથી, એટલે દક્ષિણના અખાતથી શરુ થતી હતી.
3 And it goes out to from [the] south of [the] ascent of scorpions and it passes on Zin towards and it goes up from [the] south of Kadesh Barnea and it passes on Hezron and it goes up Addar towards and it turns Karka towards.
૩ત્યાંથી સરહદ આક્રાબ્બીમના ઘાટની દક્ષિણે થઈને આગળ સીન સુધી ગઈ. અને કાદેશ બાર્નેઆની દક્ષિણે થઈને ઉપર ગઈ. ત્યાંથી હેસ્રોન થઈને આદ્દારથી ચકરાવો ખાઈને કાર્કા સુધી ગઈ.
4 And it passes on Azmon towards and it goes out [the] wadi of Egypt (and they are *Q(K)*) ([the] extremities of *LAH(b)*) the territory west-ward this it will be of you border of [the] south.
૪ત્યાંથી આસ્મોન સુધી ગઈ. ત્યાંથી મિસરના ઝરણાંથી પસાર થઈને તેનો છેડો સમુદ્ર આગળ આવ્યો. આ તેમની દક્ષિણ તરફની સરહદ હતી.
5 And [the] border east-ward [is] [the] Sea of Salt to [the] end of the Jordan and [the] border of [the] side of north-ward [is] from [the] bay of the sea from [the] end of the Jordan.
૫યર્દનના છેડા તરફ, ખારો સમુદ્ર પૂર્વ તરફની સરહદ હતી. યર્દનના છેડા તરફ સમુદ્રની ખાડીથી ઉત્તર તરફની સરહદથી શરુ થતી હતી.
6 And it goes up the border Beth Hoglah and it passes on from [the] north of Beth Arabah and it goes up the border [the] stone of Bohan [the] son of Reuben.
૬તે સરહદ બેથ-હોગ્લા અને બેથ-અરાબાની ઉત્તર તરફ પસાર થઈને આગળ ગઈ. પછી તે સરહદ બોહાનની શિલા, રુબેનના દીકરા સુધી ગઈ.
7 And it goes up the border - Debir towards from [the] valley of Achor and north-ward [it is] turning to Gilgal which [is] opposite to [the] ascent of Adummim which [is] from [the] south of the wadi and it passes on the border to [the] waters of En Shemesh and they are extremities its to En Rogel.
૭પછી તે સરહદ આખોરની ખીણથી દબીર સુધી ગઈ, તે જ પ્રમાણે ઉત્તર તરફ ગિલ્ગાલના વળાંક સુધી, કે જે નદીની દક્ષિણ બાજુ પર, અદુમ્મીમના ઘાટની સામે છે ત્યાં સુધી ગઈ. પછી તે સરહદ એન-શેમેશનાં ઝરણાંથી પસાર થઈ અને એન-રોગેલ આગળ પૂરી થઈ.
8 And it goes up the border [the] valley of Ben Hinnom to [the] slope of the Jebusite[s] from [the] south that [is] Jerusalem and it goes up the border to [the] top of the mountain which [is] on [the] face of [the] valley of [Ben] Hinnom west-ward which [is] at [the] end of [the] valley of [the] Rephaites north-ward.
૮પછી તે સરહદ હિન્નોમના પુત્રની ખીણ પાસે થઈને યબૂસીઓના નગરની દક્ષિણ તરફ એટલે યરુશાલેમ સુધી ગઈ. પછી તે હિન્નોમની ખીણની સામે પશ્ચિમે આવેલા પર્વતના શિખર પર, જે રફાઈમની ખીણના ઉત્તરના છેડા સુધી તે સરહદ ગઈ.
9 And it turns the border from [the] top of the mountain to [the] spring of [the] waters of Nephtoah and it goes out to [the] cities of [the] mountain of Ephron and it turns the border Baalah that [is] Kiriath Jearim.
૯પછી તે સરહદ પર્વતના શિખરથી તે નેફતોઆના ઝરણાં સુધી ગઈ, ત્યાંથી એફ્રોન પર્વતનાં નગરો સુધી ગઈ. પછી તે સરહદ બાલાહ એટલે કિર્યાથ-યારીમ સુધી અંકાયેલી હતી.
10 And it turns the border from Baalah west-ward to [the] mountain of Seir and it passes on to [the] slope of [the] mountain of Jearim from north-ward that [is] Kesalon and it goes down Beth Shemesh and it passes on Timnah.
૧૦પછી તે સરહદ ત્યાંથી વળીને પશ્ચિમ તરફ બાલાહથી સેઈર પર્વત સુધી ગઈ, પછી આગળ વધીને ઉત્તર તરફ યારીમ પર્વતની એટલે કસાલોન ની બાજુથી પસાર થઈ અને બેથ-શેમેશ સુધી નીચે થઈને તિમ્નાથી પસાર થઈને આગળ વધી.
11 And it goes out the border to [the] slope of Ekron north-ward and it turns the border Shikkeron towards and it passes on [the] mountain of Baalah and it goes out Jabneel and they are [the] extremities of the territory west-ward.
૧૧તે સરહદ ઉત્તર તરફ એક્રોનની બાજુએ ગઈ, પછી શિક્કરોનથી વળીને, બાલાહ પર્વતથી પસાર થઈને યાબ્નએલ સુધી ગઈ. તે સરહદનો અંત સમુદ્ર પાસે આવ્યો.
12 And [the] border of [the] west [is] the sea towards great and territory this [is] [the] border of [the] descendants of Judah around to clans their.
૧૨પશ્ચિમી સરહદ મોટા સમુદ્ર તથા તેના કિનારા સુધી હતી. આ યહૂદાના કુળની તેમનાં કુટુંબો પ્રમાણે ચારેબાજુની સરહદ હતી.
13 And to Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh someone gave a portion in among [the] descendants of Judah to [the] mouth of Yahweh to Joshua Kiriath Arba [the] father of Anak that [is] Hebron.
૧૩યહોશુઆએ યહોવાહની આજ્ઞાનું પાલન કર્યું, તેણે યફૂન્નેના દીકરા કાલેબને યહૂદા કુળની વચ્ચે જમીન સોંપી, કિર્યાથ-આર્બા, જે હેબ્રોન છે તે આપ્યું, આર્બા અનાકનો પિતા હતો.
14 And he dispossessed from there Caleb three [the] sons of Anak Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai those born of Anak.
૧૪અને કાલેબે અનાકના વંશનાં ત્રણ કુળોને એટલે શેશાય, અહીમાન તથા તાલ્માય જે અનાકના પુત્રો હતા તેઓને ત્યાંથી કાઢી મૂક્યા.
15 And he went up from there against [the] inhabitants of Debir and [the] name of Debir before [was] Kiriath Sepher.
૧૫તેણે ત્યાંથી દબીરના રહેવાસીઓ પર ચઢાઈ કરી. દબીરનું નામ તો પૂર્વે કિર્યાથ-સેફેર હતું.
16 And he said Caleb [the one] who he will strike Kiriath Sepher and he will capture it and I will give to him Achsah daughter my to a wife.
૧૬કાલેબે કહ્યું, “જે કોઈ માણસ કિર્યાથ-સેફેર પર હુમલો કરશે અને તેને કબજે કરશે, તેને હું મારી દીકરી આખ્સાહ સાથે પરણાવીશ.”
17 And he captured it Othniel [the] son of Kenaz [the] brother of Caleb and he gave to him Achsah daughter his to a wife.
૧૭કાલેબના ભાઈ કનાઝના દીકરા ઓથ્નીએલે કિર્યાથ-સેફેર જીતી લીધું. તેથી કાલેબે તેની દીકરી આખ્સાહનાં લગ્ન તેની સાથે કરાવ્યાં.
18 And it was when came she and she incited him to ask from with father her a field and she went down from on the donkey and he said to her Caleb what? [is] to you.
૧૮જયારે આખ્સાહ ઓથ્નીએલ પાસે આવી, ત્યારે એમ થયું કે, તેણે તેને તેના પિતા પાસેથી ખેતર માગવાની વિનંતી કરી. અને આખ્સા તેના ગધેડા પરથી ઊતરી. અને કાલેબે તેને કહ્યું કે, “તારે શું જોઈએ છે?”
19 And she said give! to me a blessing for [the] land of the Negev you have given to me and you will give to me springs of water and he gave to her springs upper and springs lower.
૧૯આખ્સાહએ ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “મારા પર વિશેષ કરીને કૃપા કર. તેં મને નેગેબની જમીન તો આપી જ છે, પાણીના થોડા ઝરા પણ મને આપ.” અને કાલેબે તેને ઉપરના ભાગના અને નીચાણના ભાગના ઝરા આપ્યાં.
20 This [was] [the] inheritance of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Judah to clans their.
૨૦આ યહૂદાપુત્રોના કુળનું વતન તેઓનાં કુટુંબો પ્રમાણે આ છે.
21 And they were the cities from [the] end of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Judah to [the] border of Edom in the south Kabzeel and Eder and Jagur.
૨૧અને નેગેબમાં અદોમની સરહદની તરફ યહૂદાપુત્રોના કુળનાં છેવાડાં નગરો કાબ્સએલ, એદેર તથા યાગૂર,
22 And Kinah and Dimonah and Adadah.
૨૨કિના, દીમોના, આદાદા,
23 And Kedesh and Hazor and Ithnan.
૨૩કેદેશ, હાસોર, ઈથનાન,
24 Ziph and Telem and Bealoth.
૨૪ઝીફ, ટેલેમ, બેઆલોથ;
25 And Hazor - Hadattah and Kerioth Hezron that [is] Hazor.
૨૫હાસોર-હદાત્તા, કરીયોથ હેસ્રોન એટલે હાસોર,
26 Amam and Shema and Moladah.
૨૬અમામ, શેમા, મોલાદા,
27 And Hazar Gaddah and Heshmon and Beth Pelet.
૨૭હસાર-ગાદ્દાહ, હેશ્મોન, બેથ-પેલેટ,
28 And Hazar Shual and Beer Sheba and Biziothiah.
૨૮હસાર-શૂઆલ, બેરશેબા, બિઝયોથ્યા.
29 Baalah and Iim and Ezem.
૨૯બાલાહ, લીમતથા એસેમ,
30 And Eltolad and Kesil and Hormah.
૩૦એલ્તોલાદ, કસીલ તથા હોર્મા,
31 And Ziklag and Madmannah and Sansannah.
૩૧સિકલાગ, માદમાન્ના તથા સાન્સાન્ના,
32 And Lebaoth and Shilhim and Ain and Rimmon all [the] cities [were] twenty and nine and villages their.
૩૨લબાઓથ, શિલ્હીમ, આઈન અને રિમ્મોન. તેઓના તાબાના ગામો સહિત કુલ ઓગણત્રીસ નગરો હતાં.
33 In the Shephelah Eshtaol and Zorah and Ashnah.
૩૩પશ્ચિમ તરફના નીચાણના પર્વતીય પ્રદેશમાં, એશ્તાઓલ, સોરાહ તથા આશના;
34 And Zanoah and En Gannim Tappuah and Enam.
૩૪ઝાનોઆ, એન-ગાન્નીમ, તાપ્પૂઆ તથા એનામ,
35 Jarmuth and Adullam Socoh and Azekah.
૩૫યાર્મૂથ, અદુલ્લામ, સોખો તથા અઝેકા,
36 And Shaaraim and Adithaim and Gederah and Gederothaim cities four-teen and villages their.
૩૬શારાઈમ, અદીથાઈમ, ગદેરા ગદરોથાઈમ; તેઓનાં તાબાના ગામો સહિત આ કુલ ચૌદ નગરો હતાં.
37 Zenan and Hadashah and Migdal Gad.
૩૭સનાન, હદાશા તથા મિગ્દાલ-ગાદ,
38 And Dilean and Mizpah and Joktheel.
૩૮દિલાન, મિસ્પા તથા યોક્તએલ,
39 Lachish and Bozkath and Eglon.
૩૯લાખીશ, બોસ્કાથ તથા એગ્લોન.
40 And Cabbon and Lahmas and Kitlish.
૪૦કાબ્બોન, લાહમામ તથા કિથ્લીશ.
41 And Gederoth Beth Dagon and Naamah and Makkedah cities six-teen and villages their.
૪૧ગદેરોથ, બેથ-દાગોન, નાઅમાહ તથા માક્કેદા. તેઓનાં તાબાના ગામો સહિત આ કુલ સોળ નગરો હતાં.
42 Libnah and Ether and Ashan.
૪૨લિબ્નાહ, એથેર તથા આશાન,
43 And Iphtah and Ashnah and Nezib.
૪૩યિફતા, આશના તથા નસીબ,
44 And Keilah and Aczib and Mareshah cities nine and villages their.
૪૪કઈલા, આખ્ઝીબ તથા મારેશા, તેઓનાં તાબાના ગામો સહિત આ કુલ નવ નગરો હતા.
45 Ekron and daughters its and villages its.
૪૫એક્રોન, તેનાં નગરો અને ગામો સહિત;
46 From Ekron and west-ward all that [is] on [the] hand of Ashdod and villages their.
૪૬એટલે એક્રોનથી તે મહાસમુદ્ર સુધી આશ્દોદની નજીક જે સર્વ નગરો હતા તે તેઓનાં ગામો સહિત.
47 Ashdod daughters its and villages its Gaza daughters its and villages its to [the] wadi of Egypt and the sea (great *Q(K)*) and territory.
૪૭આશ્દોદની, આસપાસના નગરો તથા ગામો; ગાઝા, આસપાસનાં નગરો તથા ગામો; મિસરનું નાળું તથા મહાસમુદ્ર તેનો દરિયાકિનારો ત્યાં સુધીનાં.
48 And in the hill country Shamir and Jattir and Socoh.
૪૮પહાડી પ્રદેશમાં શામીર, યાત્તીર તથા સોખો,
49 And Dannah and Kiriath Sannah that [is] Debir.
૪૯દાન્ના તથા કિર્યાથ-સાન્ના, એટલે દબીર,
50 And Anab and Eshtemoh and Anim.
૫૦અનાબ, એશ્તમોઆ તથા આનીમ,
51 And Goshen and Holon and Giloh cities one [plus] ten and villages their.
૫૧ગોશેન, હોલોન તથા ગીલોહ. તેઓના તાબાના ગામો સહિત કુલ આ અગિયાર નગરો હતા.
52 Arab and Rumah and Eshan.
૫૨અરાબ, દૂમા તથા એશાન,
53 (And Janum *Q(K)*) and Beth Tappuah and Aphekah.
૫૩યાનીમ, બેથ-તાપ્પૂઆ તથા અફેકા,
54 And Humtah and Kiriath Arba that [is] Hebron and Zior cities nine and villages their.
૫૪હુમ્ટા, કિર્યાથ-આર્બા એટલે હેબ્રોન તથા સીઓર. તેઓના તાબાના ગામો સહિત કુલ આ નવ નગરો હતાં.
55 Maon - Carmel and Ziph and Juttah.
૫૫માઓન, કાર્મેલ, ઝીફ, યૂટા,
56 And Jezreel and Jokdeam and Zanoah.
૫૬યિઝ્રએલ, યોકદામ, ઝાનોઆ,
57 Kain Gibeah and Timnah cities ten and villages their.
૫૭કાઈન, ગિબયા તથા તિમ્ના તેઓના ગામો સહિત આ દસ નગરો.
58 Halhul Beth Zur and Gedor.
૫૮હાલ્હૂલ, બેથ-સૂર, ગદોર,
59 And Maarath and Beth Anoth and Eltekon cities six and villages their.
૫૯મારાથ, બેથ-અનોથ તથા એલ્તકોન તેઓનાં ગામો સહિત આ છ નગરો.
60 Kiriath Baal that [is] Kiriath Jearim and Rabbah cities two and villages their.
૬૦કિર્યાથ-બાલ એટલે કિર્યાથ-યારીમ તથા રાબ્બા, તેઓનાં ગામો સહિત આ બે નગરો.
61 In the wilderness Beth Arabah Middin and Secacah.
૬૧અરણ્યમાં બેથ-અરાબા, મિદ્દીન તથા સખાખા,
62 And Nibshan and [the] city of Salt and En Gedi cities six and villages their.
૬૨નિબ્શાન, ખારાનું નગર તથા એન-ગેદી; તેઓનાં ગામો સહિત આ છ નગરો.
63 And the Jebusite[s] [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem not (they were able *Q(K)*) [the] descendants of Judah to dispossess them and he has dwelt the Jebusite[s] with [the] descendants of Judah in Jerusalem until the day this.
૬૩પણ યરુશાલેમના રહેવાસી યબૂસીઓને યહૂદા કુળના લોકો કાઢી શક્યા નહિ; તેથી યબૂસીઓ આજ સુધી યહૂદા કુળની સાથે યરુશાલેમમાં રહે છે.
