Joshua 12
1 And these - [are] [the] kings of the land whom they defeated [the] people of Israel and they took possession of land their on [the] other side of the Jordan [the] rising of towards the sun from [the] wadi of Arnon to [the] mountain of Hermon and all the Arabah east-ward.
| וְאֵ֣לֶּה ׀ מַלְכֵ֣י הָאָ֗רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הִכּ֤וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וַיִּֽרְשׁ֣וּ אֶת־אַרְצָ֔ם בְּעֵ֥בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּ֖ן מִזְרְחָ֣ה הַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁ מִנַּ֤חַל אַרְנֹון֙ עַד־הַ֣ר חֶרְמֹ֔ון וְכָל־הָעֲרָבָ֖ה מִזְרָֽחָה׃ |
2 Sihon [the] king of the Amorite[s] who dwelt in Heshbon [who] ruled from Aroer which [is] on [the] edge of [the] wadi of Arnon and [the] middle of the wadi and [the] half of Gilead and to Jabbok the wadi [the] border of [the] people of Ammon.
| סִיחֹון֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִ֔י הַיֹּושֵׁ֖ב בְּחֶשְׁבֹּ֑ון מֹשֵׁ֡ל מֵעֲרֹועֵ֡ר אֲשֶׁר֩ עַל־שְׂפַת־נַ֨חַל אַרְנֹ֜ון וְתֹ֤וךְ הַנַּ֙חַל֙ וַחֲצִ֣י הַגִּלְעָ֔ד וְעַד֙ יַבֹּ֣ק הַנַּ֔חַל גְּב֖וּל בְּנֵ֥י עַמֹּֽון׃ |
3 And the Arabah to [the] sea of Kinnereth east-ward and to [the] sea of the Arabah [the] Sea of Salt east-ward [the] direction of Beth Jeshimoth and from [the] south under [the] slopes of Pisgah.
| וְהָעֲרָבָה֩ עַד־יָ֨ם כִּנְרֹ֜ות מִזְרָ֗חָה וְ֠עַד יָ֣ם הָעֲרָבָ֤ה יָם־הַמֶּ֙לַח֙ מִזְרָ֔חָה דֶּ֖רֶךְ בֵּ֣ית הַיְשִׁמֹ֑ות וּמִ֨תֵּימָ֔ן תַּ֖חַת אַשְׁדֹּ֥ות הַפִּסְגָּֽה׃ |
4 And [the] territory of Og [the] king of Bashan one of [the] remnant of the Rephaites who dwelt in Ashtaroth and in Edrei.
| וּגְב֗וּל עֹ֚וג מֶ֣לֶךְ הַבָּשָׁ֔ן מִיֶּ֖תֶר הָרְפָאִ֑ים הַיֹּושֵׁ֥ב בְּעַשְׁתָּרֹ֖ות וּבְאֶדְרֶֽעִי׃ |
5 And [who] ruled over [the] mountain of Hermon and over Salecah and over all Bashan to [the] border of the Geshurite[s] and the Maacathite[s] and [the] half of Gilead [the] border of Sihon [the] king of Heshbon.
| וּ֠מֹשֵׁל בְּהַ֨ר חֶרְמֹ֤ון וּבְסַלְכָה֙ וּבְכָל־הַבָּשָׁ֔ן עַד־גְּב֥וּל הַגְּשׁוּרִ֖י וְהַמַּעֲכָתִ֑י וַחֲצִי֙ הַגִּלְעָ֔ד גְּב֖וּל סִיחֹ֥ון מֶֽלֶךְ־חֶשְׁבֹּֽון׃ |
6 Moses [the] servant of Yahweh and [the] people of Israel they defeated them and he gave it Moses [the] servant of Yahweh a possession to the Reubenite[s] and to the Gadite[s] and to [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh.
| מֹשֶׁ֧ה עֶֽבֶד־יְהוָ֛ה וּבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל הִכּ֑וּם וַֽ֠יִּתְּנָהּ מֹשֶׁ֨ה עֶֽבֶד־יְהוָ֜ה יְרֻשָּׁ֗ה לָרֻֽאוּבֵנִי֙ וְלַגָּדִ֔י וְלַחֲצִ֖י שֵׁ֥בֶט הַֽמְנַשֶּֽׁה׃ ס |
7 And these [are] [the] kings of the land whom he defeated Joshua and [the] people of Israel on [the] other side of the Jordan west-ward from Baal Gad in [the] valley of Lebanon and to the mountain Halak which goes up Seir towards and he gave it Joshua to [the] tribes of Israel a possession according to divisions their.
| וְאֵ֣לֶּה מַלְכֵ֣י הָאָ֡רֶץ אֲשֶׁר֩ הִכָּ֨ה יְהֹושֻׁ֜עַ וּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל בְּעֵ֤בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן֙ יָ֔מָּה מִבַּ֤עַל גָּד֙ בְּבִקְעַ֣ת הַלְּבָנֹ֔ון וְעַד־הָהָ֥ר הֶחָלָ֖ק הָעֹלֶ֣ה שֵׂעִ֑ירָה וַיִּתְּנָ֨הּ יְהֹושֻׁ֜עַ לְשִׁבְטֵ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל יְרֻשָּׁ֖ה כְּמַחְלְקֹתָֽם׃ |
8 In the hill country and in the Shephelah and in the Arabah and on the slopes and in the wilderness and in the Negev the Hittite[s] the Amorite[s] and the Canaanite[s] the Perizzite[s] the Hivite[s] and the Jebusite[s].
| בָּהָ֣ר וּבַשְּׁפֵלָ֗ה וּבָֽעֲרָבָה֙ וּבָ֣אֲשֵׁדֹ֔ות וּבַמִּדְבָּ֖ר וּבַנֶּ֑גֶב הַֽחִתִּי֙ הָֽאֱמֹרִ֔י וְהַֽכְּנַעֲנִי֙ הַפְּרִזִּ֔י הַחִוִּ֖י וְהַיְבוּסִֽי׃ פ |
9 [the] king of Jericho one [the] king of Ai which [is] from [the] side of Beth-el one.
| מֶ֥לֶךְ יְרִיחֹ֖ו אֶחָ֑ד מֶ֧לֶךְ הָעַ֛י אֲשֶׁר־מִצַּ֥ד בֵּֽית־אֵ֖ל אֶחָֽד׃ |
10 [the] king of Jerusalem one [the] king of Hebron one.
| מֶ֤לֶךְ יְרוּשָׁלַ֙͏ִם֙ אֶחָ֔ד מֶ֥לֶךְ חֶבְרֹ֖ון אֶחָֽד׃ |
11 [the] king of Jarmuth one [the] king of Lachish one.
| מֶ֤לֶךְ יַרְמוּת֙ אֶחָ֔ד מֶ֥לֶךְ לָכִ֖ישׁ אֶחָֽד׃ |
12 [the] king of Eglon one [the] king of Gezer one.
| מֶ֤לֶךְ עֶגְלֹון֙ אֶחָ֔ד מֶ֥לֶךְ גֶּ֖זֶר אֶחָֽד׃ |
13 [the] king of Debir one [the] king of Geder one.
| מֶ֤לֶךְ דְּבִר֙ אֶחָ֔ד מֶ֥לֶךְ גֶּ֖דֶר אֶחָֽד׃ |
14 [the] king of Hormah one [the] king of Arad one.
| מֶ֤לֶךְ חָרְמָה֙ אֶחָ֔ד מֶ֥לֶךְ עֲרָ֖ד אֶחָֽד׃ |
15 [the] king of Libnah one [the] king of Adullam one.
| מֶ֤לֶךְ לִבְנָה֙ אֶחָ֔ד מֶ֥לֶךְ עֲדֻלָּ֖ם אֶחָֽד׃ |
16 [the] king of Makkedah one [the] king of Beth-el one.
| מֶ֤לֶךְ מַקֵּדָה֙ אֶחָ֔ד מֶ֥לֶךְ בֵּֽית־אֵ֖ל אֶחָֽד׃ |
17 [the] king of Tappuah one [the] king of Hepher one.
| מֶ֤לֶךְ תַּפּ֙וּחַ֙ אֶחָ֔ד מֶ֥לֶךְ חֵ֖פֶר אֶחָֽד׃ |
18 [the] king of Aphek one [the] king of Sharon one.
| מֶ֤לֶךְ אֲפֵק֙ אֶחָ֔ד מֶ֥לֶךְ לַשָּׁרֹ֖ון אֶחָֽד׃ |
19 [the] king of Madon one [the] king of Hazor one.
| מֶ֤לֶךְ מָדֹון֙ אֶחָ֔ד מֶ֥לֶךְ חָצֹ֖ור אֶחָֽד׃ |
20 [the] king of Shimron Meron one [the] king of Acshaph one.
| מֶ֣לֶךְ שִׁמְרֹ֤ון מְראֹון֙ אֶחָ֔ד מֶ֥לֶךְ אַכְשָׁ֖ף אֶחָֽד׃ |
21 [the] king of Taanach one [the] king of Megiddo one.
| מֶ֤לֶךְ תַּעְנַךְ֙ אֶחָ֔ד מֶ֥לֶךְ מְגִדֹּ֖ו אֶחָֽד׃ |
22 [the] king of Kedesh one [the] king of Jokneam of Carmel one.
| מֶ֤לֶךְ קֶ֙דֶשׁ֙ אֶחָ֔ד מֶֽלֶךְ־יָקְנֳעָ֥ם לַכַּרְמֶ֖ל אֶחָֽד׃ |
23 [the] king of Dor of Naphath of Dor one [the] king of Goyim of Gilgal one.
| מֶ֥לֶךְ דֹּ֛ור לְנָפַ֥ת דֹּ֖ור אֶחָ֑ד מֶֽלֶךְ־גֹּויִ֥ם לְגִלְגָּ֖ל אֶחָֽד׃ |
24 [the] king of Tirzah one all [the] kings [were] thirty and one.
| מֶ֥לֶךְ תִּרְצָ֖ה אֶחָ֑ד כָּל־מְלָכִ֖ים שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים וְאֶחָֽד׃ פ |
