John 3
1 There was now a man of the Pharisees, Nicodemus name to him, a ruler of the Jews.
Parsawista baga ass gidida ayhudata hllaqappe issi Niqodimossa getetizaday assi dess.
2 He came to (*k*) (Him *N(K)O*) by night and said to Him; Rabbi, we know that from God You have come a teacher; no [one] for is able these signs to do that You yourself do, only unless shall be God with him.
Izi qamara Yesussakko yidi “astamare Xoossi izara dzade gidikofe atin hayta ne oothiza malalsiza malatata oothanas danda7izadeye dena. Hessa gish ne Xoossa achafe yida astamare gdidayysa nuu erosu” gidass.
3 Answered (*k*) Jesus and said to him; Amen Amen I say to you; only unless someone shall be born from above, not he is able to see the kingdom of God.
Yesussaykka izas zaridi “ta nes tumu gays assi namantho yeletoonta agikko Xoossa kawoteth beynanas danda7ena” gidess.
4 Says to Him Nicodemus; How is able a man to be born old being? Not is he able into the womb of the mother of him a second time to enter and to be born?
Niqodimosaykka zaridi “histin assi cimidappe guye wandi namaantho yeletan danda7izee? Qassekka gede bee aye ul7on simi gelidi yeletanee?” gidi oychides.
5 Answered (*ko*) Jesus; Amen Amen I say to you, only unless someone shall be born of water and of [the] Spirit, not he is able to enter into the kingdom of God.
Yesussyka izas hizggidi zarides “ta nes tumu gays assi hathafenne Xillo Anappe yeletontaa dishe Xoossa kawoteth gelanass danda7ena.
6 That born of the flesh flesh is, and that born of the Spirit spirit is.
Asappe yelettida asa. Ayanappe yeletdeye ayana.
7 Not may do wonder that I said to you; It is necessary for you [all] to be born from above.
Hessa gish (inte nmma7antho yeletanas kooshes) ta nena gida gish malaletofa.
8 The wind where it wishes blows, and the sound of it You hear but not you know from where it comes and where it goes; thus is everyone who born of the Spirit.
Carkkoy ba koyida baga carkess, ne carkoss gireth siyasa atin izi awappe yizakkonne awa bizakko erakka, ayanafe yelettidaykka hessa malla.”
9 Answered Nicodemus and said to Him; How are able these things to be?
Niqodimossay “haysi wani hnana danda7ize?” gidi oychdess.
10 Answered (*k*) Jesus and said to him; You yourself are the teacher of Israel and these things not know?
Yesussaykka izas “Isra7ele Astemare gidautada hessa ne eriki?
11 Amen Amen I say to you that what we know we speak and what we have seen we bear witness to, and the witness of us not you people receive.
Ta nes tumu gays nuni nu erazaysa yotoss, nu be7idaysa markatos gido attin inte nu markateth ekekketta.
12 If the [things] earthly I have told you and not you believe, how if I may tell to you the [things] heavenly will you believe?
Ta intess hayssa ha biitta yo yotin amanonta ixikko sallo miish yotikko wosti inte wosti ammanane?
13 And no [one] has gone up into heaven only except the [One] out of heaven having come down, the Son of Man (who is being in heaven. *KO*)
Saloppe dugge wopdhia asa naape attin pude saloo keziday haray onikka denna.
14 And even as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, thus to be lifted up it behooves the Son of Man,
Bazoo biittan Musey shoshu dhoqqu histi kaqqidaysatho heesathokka asa nayy dhoqqan kaqistanas beses.
15 so that everyone who is believing (in Him *N(k)O*) (not may perish but *K*) may have life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
Hessikka izan ammanizadeye wurikka medhina deyo demanasa gsaasa. (aiōnios g166)
16 Thus for loved God the world, that the Son (of him *ko*) the only begotten He gave, so that everyone who is believing in Him not may perish but may have life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
Xoossa na ammanizay wuri medhina deyo demanappe attin dhayonta mala Xoossi hayssa alameza daro siqida gish ba mixi issi na immides. (aiōnios g166)
17 Not for sent God the Son (of Him *ko*) into the world that He may judge the world, but that may be saved the world through Him.
Xoassay ba naza ha dugge alame kittday alame asay izan amanidi atinn izi alamme asa bolla firdanas gidena.
18 The [one] believing on Him not is judged; the [one] but not believing already has been judged because not he has believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Iza amanizade bola pirdetena, iza amanonntadey gdikko Xoossa na isinezan amanonta gish benipekka pirdeti utides.
19 This now is the judgement that the Light has come into the world, and loved men rather the darkness than the Light; were for of them evil the deeds.
Pirdayyka hysamala po77oy ha alame yides shin asas oothoy iitta gdidagish asay po7oppe daro dumma doosides.
20 Everyone for evil practicing hates the Light and not comes to the Light so that not may be exposed the works of him;
Iita o7htzadeye wurikka poo7 dosena. izi o7thazza ita o7thooy pooncci kkazontamala izi ba huees poo77y dzzasa kezena.
21 the [one] however practicing the truth comes to the Light that may be manifest his works that in God have been done.
Tuumu o7thzadey gdiiko po77y dizasa yees. izi po77y dizzasa yeza gasoy Xoossa azazzomalla izi o7thdda o7thooy qonncana maalla.”
22 After these things came Jesus and the disciples of Him into the Judean land, and there He was staying with them and was baptizing.
Hessafe kallidi Yesussy bena kallizaytara Yhuudaa dere bedess. heniikka Asaa xxamaqqshe istarra guusa woode gmmidess.
23 Was now also (*no*) John baptizing in Aenon near Salim, because waters many were there. and they were coming and were being baptized;
Hee wode salleme achaan Henoone gistattzasann daroo haathia dizza gsaa Yaansay asa xaamakchhn asayyka izzko biidi xmaqettdess.
24 Not yet for were cast into the prison John.
Hesa woode Yannsaay buro qaacho kketha gelii beyyna.
25 Arose then a debate among the disciples of John with ([a certain] Jew *N(K)O*) about purification.
Hee wode Yaansassne isi isi ayyhudea asat. garrsane Ayyhudata gessa wooga gesii gtta polamaay denndidess.
26 And they came to John and said to him; Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you yourself have borne witness, behold He baptizes, and all are coming to Him.
Yannssa kallisayta izakoo shiqqdie “asstamare nenara Yorrdanose shaafa pinnthane neenrra issifa dishhn ne iza gess marrkatoo adezikaa heko xaamaqess asaayka izika bess gdda.”
27 Answered John and said; Nothing is able a man to receive (and not *N(k)O*) (one *no*) only unless it shall be given to him from heaven.
Yannsaayka isstas hzzgdess. “o7nnsika Xoossafe imetonta dishnn ayykoykka dana dandaeena.
28 Yourselves you yourselves to me bear witness that I said (that: *n*) (I myself *o*) Not am I myself the Christ, but for sent I am before Him.
(Tani izafe snthataa kitadiis atin yana Krrstossay tana gdikke) gada ta intees yotooysas inte inte huerra taa marrkataa.
29 The [one] having the bride [the] bridegroom is. the now friend of the bridegroom, the [one] having stood and listening for him, with joy rejoices because of the voice of the bridegroom. This therefore the joy of mine has been fulfilled.

30 Him it behooves to increase, me myself however to decrease.
Izi xooqu xooqu ganamala taaka zqqi ganamalla koshees.
31 The [One] from above coming above all is. The [one] being from the earth from the earth is and from the earth speaks. The [One] from heaven coming above all is;
Puudape yezadey wursofe boola. garrsa biitafe gedidaay izi bitazanne biitaaz yootees (hasaees) saloope yesadeey izi wursofe bola.
32 (and *k*) What He has seen and heard, this He testifies, and the testimony of Him no [one] receives.
Izi ba beeydazine ba siiydazz markariis gdoo atiin zia marrsatiths ekkzadeey deena.
33 The [one] having received His testimony has set his seal that God true is.
Iza marrkethe ekkzadeey gddko Xoossa tumanncha gdidaaysa qonncsees (besees)
34 He whom for sent God, the declarations of God speaks; not for by measure He gives (God *KO*) the Spirit.
Xoossa kittdadeey Xoossa Qalla yotiss Xssika izades ba ayana kunnthie imess.
35 The Father loves the Son and all things has given into the hand of Him.
Awaay ba na dosees haanizza yoo wurrsi iza kuseen yeegdees.
