< John 19 >
1 At that time therefore took Pilate Jesus and flogged [Him].
Adudagi Pilate-na yathang piduna Jisubu phuhallammi.
2 And the soldiers having twisted together a crown of thorns put [it] of Him on the head and a robe purple cast around Him
Lanmising aduna tingkhanggi luhup ama semlaga Ibungogi makokta upsinbire aduga makhoina manggra machugi phi ama insinbire.
3 (and they were coming up to Him *NO*) and were saying; Hail! O King of the Jews! And they were giving to Him blows with the palm.
Makhoina Ibungogi manakta changsillaga hairak-i, “Khurumjari, he Jihudisinggi Ningthou!” Adudagi makhoina Ibungogi mamaida khubakna tharammi.
4 (And *no*) went forth (therefore *K*) again outside Pilate and he says to them; Behold I bring to you Him out, so that you may know that no [thing] guilt I find in Him.
Pilate-na amuk hanna mapanda thoraklaga makhoida hairak-i, “Yeng-u, Eina mangonda maral piba yaba kari amata phangde haiba nakhoina khangnanaba mahakpu nakhoigi namangda puthorakli.”
5 Went forth therefore Jesus outside wearing the thorny crown and the purple robe. And he says to them; (behold *N(k)O*) the man!
Jisuna tingkhanggi luhuptu uplaga amadi manggra machugi phi adu induna thorakle aduga pilate-na makhoida hairak-i, “Yeng-u, mi adu asida leire!”
6 When therefore saw Him the chief priests and the officers, they cried out saying; do crucify do crucify (him. *k*) Says to them Pilate; do take Him yourselves and do crucify [him]; I myself for no find in Him guilt.
Athoiba purohitsing amadi Mapugi Sanglen-gi ngaksenbasing aduna Ibungobu ubada kanna laorak-i, “Mahakpu cross-ta hatlu! Mahakpu cross-ta hatlu!” Maduda Pilate-na makhoida khumlak-i, “Adu oirabadi nakhoina mahakpu cross-ta hatlu. Aduga eigi oinadi, mangonda maral piba yaba kari amata phangde.”
7 Answered to him the Jews; We ourselves a law have, and according to the law (of us *k*) He ought to die, because [the] Son of God Himself He made.
Jihudisingna mangonda khumlak-i, “Eikhoigi wayel yathang lei aduga wayel yathang adugi matung inna mahak sipham thok-i maramdi mahakna masabu Tengban Mapugi Machanupani haina haijei.”
8 When therefore heard Pilate this word [the] more he was afraid
Pilate-na wa asi tabada mahak amukka henna kirammi.
9 And he went into the Praetorium again and he says to Jesus; From where are You yourself? But Jesus an answer not did give to him.
Mahakna sanggaida amuk changlaga Jisuda hanglak-i, “Nahak kadaidagi lakpano?” Adubu Jisuna paokhum amata piramde.
10 Says therefore to Him Pilate; To me myself not speak You? Surely You know that authority I have to release You and authority I have to crucify You?
Maduda Pilate-na Jisuda hairak-i, “Nahak eingonda wa amata nganglaroidra? Eina nahakpu cross-ta hatpa nattraga thadokpagi matik eingonda lei haibasi nahak khangdabra?”
11 Answered (to him *N(K)O*) Jesus; Not you were having authority against Me none, only unless it were given to you from above; Because of this the [one] (having betrayed *N(k)O*) Me to you greater sin has.
Maduda Jisuna khumlak-i, “Mapu Ibungona nangonda pibiba nattrabadi nahakna eigi ithakta matik leiramloidabani. Maram asina eibu nangonda pithokpa mahak aduna maral henna chao-i.”
12 Out of this Pilate was seeking to release Him. but the Jews (cried out *N(k)O*) saying; If this [man] you shall release, not you are a friend of Caesar. Everyone a king (himself *N(k)O*) making speaks against Caesar.
Pilate-na masi tabada Ibungobu thadoknaba hotnarammi adubu Jihudi luchingbasing aduna laorak-i, “Nahakna mahakpu thadoklabadi, nahak Caesar-gi marup natte. Kanagumba amana masabu ningthouni haijarabadi mahak Caesar-gi yeknabani.”
13 Therefore Pilate having heard (words these *N(k)O*) brought out Jesus and sat down upon (of the *k*) judgment seat at a place being named [the] Stone Pavement, in Hebrew now Gabbatha.
Pilate-na wasi tabada Jisubu mapanda puthokle aduga Nungna Chanba Mapham kouba (Hebrew londa Gabbatha haina kouba) adugi wayel phambeida mahakna phamle.
14 It was now [the] Day of Preparation of the Passover, [the] hour (was about *N(k)O*) [the] sixth. And he says to the Jews; Behold the king of you!
Madu Lanthokpibagi Chakkhangbagi nongma watlingei aduga numit yungba aduwaidani. Pilate-na Jihudisingda hairak-i, “Nakhoigi ningthou mapham asida leire.”
15 (now *k*) They cried out (therefore *NO*) (concerning Him: *no*) away away! do crucify Him! Says to them Pilate; The King of you shall I crucify? Answered the chief priests; Not we have a king only except Caesar.
Makhoina kanna laorak-i, “Mahak puthokkhro! Mahak Puthokkhro! Mahakpu cross-ta hatlu!” Maduda Pilate-na hanglak-i, “Eina nakhoigi ningthoubu cross-ta hatkadra?” Athoiba purohitsingna khumlak-i, “Caesar nattana eikhoigi ningthou atei leite.”
16 Then therefore he delivered Him to them that He may be crucified. They took (therefore *N(K)O*) Jesus (and *K*) (they led [him] away; *K(o)*)
Adudagi Pilate-na Ibungobu cross-ta hatnanaba makhoida sinakhre. Maram aduna makhoina Jisubu pukhre.
17 And bearing (His own *N(k)O*) cross He went out to (the [place] *NK(o)*) being named of the Skull Place, (which *N(k)O*) is named in Hebrew Golgotha,
Lukang haina khangnaba (Hebrew londa Golgotha haina kouba) mapham aduda Ibungona masagi cross adu puduna chatlammi.
18 where Him they crucified and with Him others two on this side and on that side, in between now Jesus.
Mapham aduda makhoina Ibungobu cross-ta pang tingle aduga Ibungogi oi yettasu mi ani amagasu pang tinglammi.
19 Wrote then also a title Pilate and put [it] on the cross. It was now written: Jesus of Nazareth the King of the Jews.
Iraga khanghanba ama semsaraga Pilate-na cross mathakta thetle. Maduda iriba adudi asini, “Nazareth-ki Jisu, Jihudisinggi Ningthou.”
20 This therefore the title many read of the Jews, for near was the place of the city where was crucified Jesus; and it was written in Hebrew, in Latin, in Greek.
Jisubu pang tingliba maphamdu sahar manak oibanina Jihudi mayam amana thetlaga khanghalliba a-iba adu parammi. Thetlaga khanghalliba adu Hebrew, Latin amadi Greek londa ibani.
21 Were saying therefore to Pilate the chief priests of the Jews; Not do write; The King of the Jews, but for He said; King I am of the Jews.
Athoiba purohitsing aduna Pilate-ta hairak-i, “‘Jihudisinggi Ningthou’ haina iganu madugi mahutta ‘Masana masabu Jihudisinggi ningthouni haijaba mi’ haina ibiyu.”
22 Answered Pilate; What I have written, I have written.
Maduda Pilate-na khumlak-i, “Eina ikhraba adu ikhre.”
23 The then soldiers, when they crucified Jesus, took the garments of Him and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. Was now the tunic seamless, from the top woven throughout all.
Lanmising aduna Jisubu pang tinglaba matungda makhoina Ibungogi maphising loure aduga makhoina amamam phangnanaba phising adu saruk mari thok-halle. Makhoina Ibungogi achonba phi adubusu loure. Achonba phi adu langdai leitaba phi amatadagi sabani.
24 They said therefore to one another; Not let us tear up it, but let us cast lots for it whose it will be; that the Scripture may be fulfilled what is being spoken: They divided the garments of Mine among themselves and for the clothing of Mine they cast a lot. The indeed therefore soldiers these things did,
Lanmising aduna makhoi masel hainarammi, “Phi asidi eikhoi segaigumsi. Masi kanagi oigadage haiba laibak chang yengnasi.” Thoudok asi Mapugi puyada ikhraba adu thungnanabani, madudi: “Makhoina eigi phiron makhoigi marakta yennagani aduga eigi achonba phigidamak laibak chang yengnagani.” Masimak lanmising aduna tourammi.
25 Had been standing however by the cross of Jesus the mother of Him and the sister of the mother of Him, Mary the [wife] of Clopas and Mary Magdalene.
Ibungogi cross adugi manakta Ibungogi mama, mamagi manaonupi, Clopas-ki nupi Mary amadi Mary Magdalene leptuna leirammi.
26 Jesus therefore having seen [His] mother and the disciple already standing by whom He was loving says to the mother (of him: *k*) Woman, (behold *N(k)O*) the son of you.
Jisuna mama amadi manakta lepliba mahakna nungsijaba tung-inba adu ubada mamada hairak-i, “Nungsirabi nupi, nahakki nachanupa asida leire.”
27 Then He says to the disciple; (behold *N(k)O*) the mother of you. And from that [very] hour took the disciple her to [his] own.
Adudagi Ibungona tung-inba aduda hairak-i, “Mahak nahakki namani.” Matam adudagi houna tung-inba aduna Mary-bu mahakki yumda purammi.
28 After this (knowing *NK(o)*) Jesus that now all things has been accomplished, so that may be fulfilled the Scripture, He says; I thirst.
Houjikti thabak pumnamak loire haiba Jisuna khangladuna Mapugi puyada i-ba adu thungnanaba Ibungona hairak-i, “Ei khourangle.”
29 A vessel (therefore *K*) was set [there] of sour wine full. a sponge (therefore full of the *N(K)O*) sour wine (and *k*) on a hyssop stalk having put they brought it to the mouth.
Mapham aduda asinba yuna thanna yaoba chaisen ama leirammi maduda makhoina sponge ama luplaga asinba yu adu chupsilhalle aduga hyssop macheida haplaga Jisugi chinbanda thamlammi.
30 When then took the sour wine Jesus He said; It has been finished. And having bowed the head He yielded up the spirit.
Jisuna madu tanglabada Ibungona hairak-i, “Loire.” Madudagi Ibungona kok lekthaduna thawai thakhre.
31 Therefore the Jews, since [the] Preparation was, so that not may remain on the cross the bodies on the Sabbath — was for a high day of that Sabbath — asked Pilate that may be broken their legs and they may be taken away.
Numit adu maru oiba Potthaba numitki nongma watlingei semsaba numit oirammi. Maram aduna Potthaba numitta hakchangsing adu cross-ta yanduna leiba adu pamdabadagi Jihudisingna Pilate-ki maphamda laktuna cross-ta yalliba hakchangsing adu makhong thudeklaga cross-tagi puthanaba haijarammi.
32 Came therefore the soldiers and of the indeed first broke the legs and of the other which having been crucified with Him.
Maram aduna lanmising aduna Jisuga loinana pang tingkhraba ahanba mi adugi makhong hanna thudekle aduga atoppa mi adugi makhong thudekle.
33 to however Jesus having come, when they saw already Him having been dead, not they did break His legs,
Adubu lanmising aduna Jisugi manakta lakpadadi Jisudi hannana siramle maram aduna makhoina Ibungogi khongdi thudektre.
34 But one of the soldiers with a spear of His side pierced, and came out immediately blood and water.
Adubu lanmi amanadi Ibungogi puknopta tana thillammi aduga khudak adumaktada eega isingga thoklaklammi.
35 And the [one] having seen has borne witness and true of him is the testimony And He knows that truth he is speaking, that (also *no*) you yourselves (may believe. *NK(o)*)
(Thoudok adumak uhouba mi amana haibani aduga mahakna haiba adu achumbani. Mahakna achumba haibani haiba mahak khang-i aduga nakhoinasu thajananaba mahakna haibani.)
36 Took place for these things so that the Scripture may be fulfilled: Bone not one will be broken (from *o*) of Him.
Thoudok asi Mapugi puyada ikhiba “Ibungogi saru ama phaoba tekloi” haina ikhiba wa adu thungnanabani.
37 And again another Scripture says: They will behold on the [One] they have pierced.
Aduga Mapugi puyagi mapham amada asumna hai, “Tana thinkhraba Ibungoda makhoina yenggani.”
38 After then these things asked Pilate (*k*) Joseph from Arimathea being a disciple of Jesus — concealed however through the fear of the Jews — that he may take away the body of Jesus. and gave permission Pilate. He came therefore and he took away the body (of Him. *N(K)O*)
Masigi matungda Arimathea-dagi lakpa Joseph-na Pilate-ki maphamda chattuna Jisugi hakchang pibinaba haijarammi. (Joseph asi Jihudisingbu kibagi maramna lonna Jisugi tung-inba amani.) Pilate-na ayaba adu pibadagi mahakna hakchang adu pure.
39 Came now also Nicodemus the [one] having come to (*k*) (Him *N(K)O*) by night at the first bearing (a mixture *NK(O)*) of myrrh and aloes (about *N(k)O*) litras a hundred.
Nongma ahing amada Jisubu unaba chatluba Nicodemus-su mahakka loinarammi. Nicodemus-na myrrh amadi agor-ga yansinnaba manam nungsiba pot kilo kunthramarimuk puduna laklammi.
40 They took therefore the body of Jesus and bound it (in *o*) in linen cloths with the spices, even as [the] custom is among the Jews to prepare for burial.
Makhoi anina Jisugi hakchang adu loure aduga Jihudisinggi chatnabigi matung inna manam nungsiba machalsingga loinana ananba limon phina yomsille.
41 There was now in the place where He was crucified a garden and in the garden a tomb new in which not yet no [one] (was *no*) ([already] laid. *N(k)O*)
Jisubu cross-ta hatkhiba mapham aduda ingkhol ama leirammi aduga ingkhol aduda mi kana amata phumdriba mongpham ama leirammi.
42 There therefore on account of the Preparation of the Jews, because near was the tomb, they laid Jesus.
Jihudisinggi Potthabagi Thourang langbagi numit oibagi maram amadi mongpham adu manak nakna leibagi maramna Jisugi hakchang adu mongpham manung aduda thamle.
