< John 16 >
1 These things I have spoken to you that not you may fall away.
“Mereka yeinom nyinaa akyerɛ mo na moatumi agyina hɔ pintinn.
2 Out of the synagogues they will put you; but is coming an hour that everyone who having killed you may think [it is] a service to offer to God.
Wɔbɛpam mo afiri wɔn asɔredan mu. Na ɛberɛ bi bɛba a obiara a ɔbɛkum mo no bɛsusu sɛ, sɛ ɔyɛ saa a, na ɔresom Onyankopɔn.
3 And these things they will do (to you *k*) because not they know the Father nor Me myself.
Wɔde saa nneɛma yi bɛyɛ mo, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔnnim Agya no na me nso wɔnnim me.
4 But these things I have said to you, so that when may have come the hour (of them, *no*) you may remember those [things] that I myself said to you. These things now to you from [the] beginning not I said, because with you I was.
Nanso, mereka yei akyerɛ mo, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, sɛ ɛberɛ no duru a, mobɛkae deɛ meka kyerɛɛ mo no. Ahyɛaseɛ no, manka yei ankyerɛ mo, ɛfiri sɛ na meka mo ho.”
5 Now however I go to the [One] having sent Me, and none of you asks Me; Where are You going?
“Afei deɛ merekɔ deɛ ɔsomaa me no nkyɛn. Nanso, mo mu biara mmisaa me sɛ, ‘Ɛhe na worekɔ?’
6 But because these things I have said to you, sorrow has filled your heart.
Deɛ maka akyerɛ mo yi ama mo werɛ aho.
7 But I myself the truth say to you; it is profitable for you that I myself may go away; only for (I myself *o*) unless I shall go away, the Helper (not will come *NK(o)*) to you; if however I shall go, I will send Him to you.
Nanso, meka nokorɛ kyerɛ mo; ɛyɛ ma mo sɛ mɛkɔ, ɛfiri sɛ, sɛ mankɔ a, ɔboafoɔ no remma mo nkyɛn.
8 And having come He will convict the world concerning sin and concerning righteousness and concerning judgment.
Nanso, sɛ mekɔ a, mɛsoma no aba mo nkyɛn. Na sɛ ɔba a, ɔbɛma ewiasefoɔ ahunu wɔn bɔne ne deɛ ɛyɛ tenenee ne Onyankopɔn atemmuo.
9 concerning sin indeed, because not do they believe in Me myself;
Deɛ wɔka fa bɔne ho no nyɛ nokorɛ, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔnnye me nni.
10 concerning righteousness however, because to the Father (of mine *k*) I go away, and no longer no longer you behold Me;
Deɛ wɔka fa tenenee ho no nyɛ nokorɛ, ɛfiri sɛ, merekɔ Agya no nkyɛn na morenhunu me bio.
11 concerning now judgment, because the ruler of the world this has been judged.
Saa ara na deɛ wɔka fa atemmuo ho no nso nyɛ nokorɛ, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔabu ewiase yi ɔtemmufoɔ no atɛn dada.
12 Yet many things I have to you to say but not you are able to bear them now.
“Mewɔ nsɛm pii ka kyerɛ mo, nanso seesei deɛ, morentumi nte aseɛ.
13 When however may come He, the Spirit of truth, He will guide you (into the truth all. *N(k)O*) not for He will speak from Himself, but as much as (maybe *k*) (He will hear *N(k)(o)*) He will speak and the [things] coming He will declare to you.
Sɛ nokorɛ Honhom no ba a, ɔbɛma moahunu nokorɛ no nyinaa. Ɔrenkasa mma ne ho, na mmom, deɛ ɔte no na ɔbɛka, na ɔbɛka nneɛma a ɛbɛba no ho nsɛm akyerɛ mo.
14 He Me myself will glorify, for from that which [is] Mine He will take and will disclose to you.
Ɔbɛhyɛ me animuonyam, ɛfiri sɛ, ɔbɛtie asɛm biara a meka no na wabɛka akyerɛ mo.
15 All things as much as has the Father Mine are; because of this I said that from that which [is] Mine (He receives *N(k)O*) and will disclose to you.
Biribiara a mʼAgya wɔ no yɛ me dea. Ɛno enti na mekaa sɛ, Honhom no bɛtie biribiara a meka kyerɛ no, na wabɛka akyerɛ mo no.”
16 A little [while] and (no longer no longer *N(K)O*) you do behold Me, and again a little [while] and you will behold Me (that I myself I am going to Father. *K*)
“Aka kakra bi morenhunu me, nanso ɛno akyi no, ɛrenkyɛre koraa, mobɛhunu me bio.”
17 Said therefore [some] of the disciples of him to one another; What is this that He says to us; A little [while] and not you do behold Me, and again a little [while] and you will behold Me’? and Because (I myself *k*) I am going to the Father’?
Asuafoɔ no bi bisabisaa wɔn ho wɔn ho sɛ, “Yei ase ne sɛn? Ɔreka akyerɛ yɛn sɛ, ‘Aka kakra bi morenhunu me nanso ɛno akyi no, ɛrenkyɛre koraa na moasane ahunu me.’ Ɔsane kaa bio sɛ, ‘Ɛfiri sɛ, merekɔ Agya no nkyɛn.’”
18 They were saying therefore; what is This that He says a little [while]’? Not we do know what He is saying.
Wɔsane bisaa bio sɛ, “Saa asɛm, ‘aka kakra’ yi aseɛ ne sɛn? Yɛnte deɛ ɔreka yi ase.”
19 Knew (therefore *K*) Jesus that they were desiring Him to ask, and He said to them; Concerning this do you inquire among one another that I said; A little [while] and not you do behold Me, and again a little [while] and you will behold Me’?
Yesu hunuu sɛ wɔpɛ sɛ wɔbisa no asɛm a ɔkaeɛ no ase no enti, ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Mekaa sɛ, ‘aka kakra bi morenhunu me, nanso ɛno akyi no, ɛrenkyɛre koraa mobɛhunu me bio’. Yei ne asɛm a monte aseɛ a enti morebisabisa mo ho mo ho yi?
20 Amen Amen I say to you that you will weep and will lament you yourselves, but the world will rejoice; You yourselves (now *k*) will be grieved, but the grief of you to joy will turn.
Mereka nokorɛ akyerɛ mo; mo werɛ bɛho na moasu, nanso ewiasefoɔ ani bɛgye. Mobɛdi awerɛhoɔ nanso mo awerɛhoɔ no bɛdane anigyeɛ.
21 The woman when she may be giving birth pain has, because has come the hour of her; when however she may bring forth the child, no longer no longer she remembers the tribulation on account of the joy that has been born a man into the world.
Sɛ ɔbaa rebɛwo a, ne werɛ ho, ɛfiri sɛ, nʼamanehunuberɛ aduru so. Nanso, sɛ ɔnya wo a, ne werɛ firi ne yea, ɛfiri sɛ, nʼani gye sɛ wawo onipa aba ewiase.
22 Also you yourselves therefore now indeed grief have, again however I will see you and will rejoice your heart, and the joy of you no [one] (do take *NK(o)*) from you,
Saa ara na ɛte wɔ mo ho. Seesei deɛ, mo werɛ aho. Nanso, mɛhunu mo bio ama mo ani agye na obi rentumi nnye saa anigyeɛ no mfiri mo nsam.
23 And in that [very] day of Me myself not you will ask no [thing]. Amen Amen I say to you; (that *k*) maybe (whatever *N(k)O*) you may ask the Father in the name of Me He will give to you.
Sɛ saa da no duru a, moremmisa me biribiara. Mereka nokorɛ akyerɛ mo, Agya no de biribiara a mode me din bɛbisa no bɛma mo.
24 Until now not you have asked no [thing] in the name of Me; do ask and you will receive, that the joy of you may be filled.
Ɛbɛsi saa ɛberɛ yi, momfaa me din mmisaa biribiara da. Mommisa na wɔde bɛma mo na mo anigyeɛ awie pɛyɛ.
25 These things in allegories I have spoken to you; (but *K*) is coming an hour when no longer no longer in allegories I will speak to you but plainly concerning the Father (I will announce *N(k)O*) to you.
“Menam abɛbuo mu na maka yeinom akyerɛ mo. Nanso, ɛberɛ bi bɛba a merenkasa abɛbuo mu bio, na mmom, mɛka biribiara a ɛfa Agya no ho no pefee akyerɛ mo.
26 In that [very] day in the name of Me you will ask; and not I say to you that I myself will implore the Father for you;
Sɛ saa da no duru a, mode me din bɛbisa no biribiara a ɛho hia mo. Menka sɛ me na mɛbisa Agya no ama mo,
27 Himself for the Father loves you, because you yourselves Me myself have loved and have believed that I myself from (God *NK(O)*) came forth.
ɛfiri sɛ, Agya no ankasa dɔ mo. Ɔdɔ mo, ɛfiri sɛ, modɔ me na moagye adi sɛ mefiri Onyankopɔn nkyɛn na mebaeɛ.
28 I came forth (from with *NK(o)*) the Father and have come into the world; again I leave the world and go to the Father.
Mefiri Agya no nkyɛn na mebaa ewiase; na afei merefiri ewiase akɔ Agya no nkyɛn.”
29 Say (to him *k*) the disciples of Him; Behold now (in *no*) openness You speak and allegory no [thing] speak.
Nʼasuafoɔ no ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Afei deɛ, wokasa pefee ma yɛte wo aseɛ.
30 Now we know that You know all things and not need have that anyone You may ask. In this we believe that from God You came forth.
Yɛahunu sɛ wonim biribiara; ɛho nhia sɛ obi bisa wo nsɛm. Yei ama yɛagye adi sɛ wofiri Onyankopɔn nkyɛn.”
31 Answered to them (*k*) Jesus; Now do you believe?
Yesu buaa wɔn sɛ. “Afei deɛ, mogye di?
32 Behold is coming an hour and (now *k*) has come when you may be scattered each to [his] own and I and I alone you may leave; yet not I am alone, for the Father with Me is.
Ɛberɛ bi rebɛduru, na mpo aduru dada a mo nyinaa bɛbɔ ahwete na obiara akɔ ne fie na aka me nko. Nanso, ɛrenka me nko ɛfiri sɛ, Agya no ka me ho.
33 These things I have spoken to you so that in Me myself peace you may have. In the world tribulation you have; But take courage! I myself have overcome the world.
“Maka yeinom akyerɛ mo na moanya asomdwoeɛ wɔ me mu. Mobɛhunu amane wɔ ewiase. Nanso, monnyina pintinn! Madi ewiase so nkonim!”
