John 16

1 These things I have spoken to you that not you may fall away.

“Ni ba wambi izi zintu kwenu chokuti kanji muzwi kwangu.

2 Out of the synagogues they will put you; but is coming an hour that everyone who having killed you may think [it is] a service to offer to God.

Ka ba mi sohe mu ma sinagoge. kono inako i kezite i yo zumwi ni zumwi yo mi haya kahupule kuti u ha mutendo wa chitabelo kwe Ireeza.

3 And these things they will do (to you *k*) because not they know the Father nor Me myself.

Ka ba chite izo zintu chokuti kana ba bezibi Itayo kapa I me.

4 But these things I have said to you, so that when may have come the hour (of them, *no*) you may remember those [things] that I myself said to you. These things now to you from [the] beginning not I said, because with you I was.

Ni ba wambi izo zintu kwenu chokuti i nako ya bo ha i sika, ka muzeze kuti ni ba miwambili kuamana na bo. Kana ni ba miwambili kuamana nizo zintu kumatangilo chokuti ni bena nanwe.

5 Now however I go to the [One] having sent Me, and none of you asks Me; Where are You going?

Kono lyahanu ni kaya kwali ya ba ni tumi, nihaike kakwina kwenu ya ba ni buzi, “U kaya kuhi?'

6 But because these things I have said to you, sorrow has filled your heart.

Kono chokuti ni bawambi izi zintu kwenu, kuswaba ku be zuli mwinkulo zenu.

7 But I myself the truth say to you; it is profitable for you that I myself may go away; only for (I myself *o*) unless I shall go away, the Helper (not will come *NK(o)*) to you; if however I shall go, I will send Him to you.

Kono ni miwambila buniti: mo kube hande kwenu ha ni ya kungi. Mukuti heba ne ni sa yendi kungi, Muombaombi kete ne ze kwenu, kono ha ni yenda, Ka ni mutumine kwenu.

8 And having come He will convict the world concerning sin and concerning righteousness and concerning judgment.

Ha te neeze, Muombaombi ka tondeze inkanda ku ba ni mafosisa kuamana ni chibi, kuamana ni kuluka, ni kuamana ni nkatulo-

9 concerning sin indeed, because not do they believe in Me myself;

kuamana ni chibi, Chokuti ka ba zumini kwangu;

10 concerning righteousness however, because to the Father (of mine *k*) I go away, and no longer no longer you behold Me;

kuamana ni kuluka chokuti ni ka ya kwe Itayo, mi inwe ke te ne muzwile habusu ku ni bona;

11 concerning now judgment, because the ruler of the world this has been judged.

mi kuamana ni nkatulo, chakuti mubusi we yunu inkanda cha ba atulwa kale.

12 Yet many things I have to you to say but not you are able to bear them now.

Ni na zintu zingi za kuwamba kwenwu, kono kete mu zi zuwisize hanu.

13 When however may come He, the Spirit of truth, He will guide you (into the truth all. *N(k)O*) not for He will speak from Himself, but as much as (maybe *k*) (He will hear *N(k)(o)*) He will speak and the [things] coming He will declare to you.

Kono cwale iye, Luhuho lwe Niti, ha lwiza, ka lu mi etelele mu buniti bonse, chokuti kete ne lu liwambile kuzwililia kwali mwine. Kono kawambe chonse chete na zuwe, mi ka wambe kwenu chete ne chize.

14 He Me myself will glorify, for from that which [is] Mine He will take and will disclose to you.

Ka ni tembe, kakuli ka hinde ku zwilila ku zangu mi ka zi wambe kwenu.

15 All things as much as has the Father Mine are; because of this I said that from that which [is] Mine (He receives *N(k)O*) and will disclose to you.

Chimwi ni chimwi chena na cho Tayo nji changu. Ni hakwina bulyo, Ni bawambi kuti Luhuho ka luhinde ku zwilila ku che chili changu mi ka mi wambile.

16 A little [while] and (no longer no longer *N(K)O*) you do behold Me, and again a little [while] and you will behold Me (that I myself I am going to Father. *K*)

Chakuya che nako i nfuhi kete ne mu ni bone, mi kwisule che nako i mwi i nfuhi ka mu ni bone.”

17 Said therefore [some] of the disciples of him to one another; What is this that He says to us; A little [while] and not you do behold Me, and again a little [while] and you will behold Me’? and Because (I myself *k*) I am going to the Father’?

Kuzwaho bamwi ba balutwani ba kwe ni chi bati zumwi ku zumwi, “Chintunzi chi cha wamba kwetu, 'Che nako infuhi kete ne mu ni bone mi kwisule lye nako i mwi infuhi ka mu ni bone,' mi, 'Chokuti ni yenda kwe Itayo'?”

18 They were saying therefore; what is This that He says a little [while]’? Not we do know what He is saying.

Nihakwina bulyo ni chi bati, “Kanti chintunzi chi chawamba, 'I nako zana i nfuhi'? Katwizi cha kwete kuamana ni cha wamba.”

19 Knew (therefore *K*) Jesus that they were desiring Him to ask, and He said to them; Concerning this do you inquire among one another that I said; A little [while] and not you do behold Me, and again a little [while] and you will behold Me’?

Jesu ni cha bona kuti basaka ku mubuza, ni cha ti kubali, “I chi che mukwete kulibuza mukati kenu kuamana ni cha na wamba, 'I nako zana infuhi kete ne mu ni bone mi kwisule lye nako zana i mwi infuhi ka mu ni bone'?

20 Amen Amen I say to you that you will weep and will lament you yourselves, but the world will rejoice; You yourselves (now *k*) will be grieved, but the grief of you to joy will turn.

Buniti, niti, ni wamba kwenu, ka mulile ni kusilisa, kono inkanda ka isange; kono nwe ka mu be ni ku wilwa kukando, kono ku swaba kwenu ka ku sanduke ku ba ni ntabo.

21 The woman when she may be giving birth pain has, because has come the hour of her; when however she may bring forth the child, no longer no longer she remembers the tribulation on account of the joy that has been born a man into the world.

Heba mwanakazi u puluha u ba ni kuwilwa chokuti inako ya kwe chi ya sika, kono ha mana kupuluha muchiche, ka chi hupuli kuchiswa kwakwe chebaka lye ntabo chakuti muntu wa pepwa munkanda.

22 Also you yourselves therefore now indeed grief have, again however I will see you and will rejoice your heart, and the joy of you no [one] (do take *NK(o)*) from you,

Chobulyo mwina kuwilwa hanu, kono ka ni mibone hape, mi nkulo zenu ka zisange, mi ka kwina ya te na wole kuzwisa intabo yinu kwenu.

23 And in that [very] day of Me myself not you will ask no [thing]. Amen Amen I say to you; (that *k*) maybe (whatever *N(k)O*) you may ask the Father in the name of Me He will give to you.

Mwi zuba elyo ke te ne mu ni buze chimwi. Buniti, niti, ni wamba kwenu, haiba ne mukumbila chime kwa Tayo che zina lyangu, ka chi mihe.

24 Until now not you have asked no [thing] in the name of Me; do ask and you will receive, that the joy of you may be filled.

Kuhitila hanu ka mwini ku kumbila chimwi che zina lya ngu. Mukumbile, mi ka muamuhele chokuti kusanga kwenu ne ku izuzilizwe.

25 These things in allegories I have spoken to you; (but *K*) is coming an hour when no longer no longer in allegories I will speak to you but plainly concerning the Father (I will announce *N(k)O*) to you.

Ni bawambi e zi zintu kwenu cha makabisa puo, kono inako i kezite ye se te ni ni wambe kwenu indaba zi sa zuweki, kono kusi bulyo ka ni miwambile ha jololwe kuamana ni Itayo.

26 In that [very] day in the name of Me you will ask; and not I say to you that I myself will implore the Father for you;

Mwizuba lyo ka mukumbile che zina lyangu mi ka ni wambi chobulyo kwenu kuti ka ni lapele kwe Itayo chenu,

27 Himself for the Father loves you, because you yourselves Me myself have loved and have believed that I myself from (God *NK(O)*) came forth.

chokuti Itayo i ye mwine a mi saka chokuti mu ba ni saki mi mu bazumini kuti ni ka zwilila kwe Itayo.

28 I came forth (from with *NK(o)*) the Father and have come into the world; again I leave the world and go to the Father.

Ni zwilila kwe Itayo, mi ni bakezi mwi inkanda. Hape, chi ni siya inkanda mi chi ni kaya kwe Itayo.”

29 Say (to him *k*) the disciples of Him; Behold now (in *no*) openness You speak and allegory no [thing] speak.

Balutwana ba kwe ni chi bati, “Bone, lyahanu cho wamba ha jolola mi ka u li tusisi indaba zi sa zuweki.

30 Now we know that You know all things and not need have that anyone You may ask. In this we believe that from God You came forth.

Lyahanu chi tweziba kuti wizi zintu zonse, mi ko saki zumwi muntu ku kubuza i mpuzo. Chebaka lyo, tuzumina kuti u kazwa kwe Ireeza.”

31 Answered to them (*k*) Jesus; Now do you believe?

Jesu ni cha betaba, “Chi mwa zumina cwale?

32 Behold is coming an hour and (now *k*) has come when you may be scattered each to [his] own and I and I alone you may leave; yet not I am alone, for the Father with Me is.

Mubone, inako chi ya sika, eeni, che niti chi yasika, he te ni mu hasanywe, zumwi ni zumwi ku munzi wa kwe, mi ka munisiye ne nke. Kono ka ni bi nenke chokuti Itayo wi na name.

33 These things I have spoken to you so that in Me myself peace you may have. In the world tribulation you have; But take courage! I myself have overcome the world.

Ni ba wambi izi zintu kwenu kuti mu be ni nkozo kwangu. Mwinkanda mwina ni masukuluko, kono mu be ni bundume: Ni ba komi inkanda.”
