John 13
1 Before now the feast of the Passover knowing Jesus that (came *N(k)O*) to him hour that He may depart out of world this to the Father, having loved [his] own who [were] in the world to [the] end He loved them.
นิสฺตาโรตฺสวสฺย กิญฺจิตฺกาลาตฺ ปูรฺวฺวํ ปฺฤถิวฺยา: ปิตุ: สมีปคมนสฺย สมย: สนฺนิกรฺโษภูทฺ อิติ ชฺญาตฺวา ยีศุราปฺรถมาทฺ เยษุ ชคตฺปฺรวาสิษฺวาตฺมียโลเกษ เปฺรม กโรติ สฺม เตษุ เศษํ ยาวตฺ เปฺรม กฺฤตวานฺฯ
2 And supper (taking place, *N(k)O*) the devil already having put into the heart that he may betray Him (Judas *N(k)O*) [son] of Simon (Iscariot *NK(o)*)
ปิตา ตสฺย หเสฺต สรฺวฺวํ สมรฺปิตวานฺ สฺวยมฺ อีศฺวรสฺย สมีปาทฺ อาคจฺฉทฺ อีศฺวรสฺย สมีปํ ยาสฺยติ จ, สรฺวฺวาเณฺยตานิ ชฺญาตฺวา รชนฺยำ โภชเน สมฺปูรฺเณ สติ,
3 knowing (*k*) (Jesus *K*) that all things (has given *N(k)O*) to Him the Father into the hands, and that from God He came forth and to God He is going,
ยทา ไศตานฺ ตํ ปรหเสฺตษุ สมรฺปยิตุํ ศิโมน: ปุตฺรสฺย อีษฺการิโยติยสฺย ยิหูทา อนฺต: กรเณ กุปฺรวฺฤตฺตึ สมารฺปยตฺ,
4 He rises from the supper and lays aside the garments, And having taken a towel He girded Himself.
ตทา ยีศุ โรฺภชนาสนาทฺ อุตฺถาย คาตฺรวสฺตฺรํ โมจยิตฺวา คาตฺรมารฺชนวสฺตฺรํ คฺฤหีตฺวา เตน สฺวกฏิมฺ อพธฺนาตฺ,
5 After that He pours water into the basin and He began to wash the feet of the disciples and to wipe [them] with the towel with which He was having girded himself.
ปศฺจาทฺ เอกปาเตฺร ชลมฺ อภิษิจฺย ศิษฺยาณำ ปาทานฺ ปฺรกฺษาลฺย เตน กฏิพทฺธคาตฺรมารฺชนวาสสา มารฺษฺฏุํ ปฺรารภตฯ
6 He comes then to Simon Peter; (and *k*) who says to Him (that [question]; *ko*) Lord, You yourself my do wash feet?
ตต: ศิโมนฺปิตรสฺย สมีปมาคเต ส อุกฺตวานฺ เห ปฺรโภ ภวานฺ กึ มม ปาเทา ปฺรกฺษาลยิษฺยติ?
7 Answered Jesus and said to him; What I myself do you yourself not know presently, you will know however after these things.
ยีศุรุทิตวานฺ อหํ ยตฺ กโรมิ ตตฺ สมฺปฺรติ น ชานาสิ กินฺตุ ปศฺจาชฺ ชฺญาสฺยสิฯ
8 Says to Him Peter; certainly not shall You wash my feet to the age. Answered (*k*) Jesus to him; only unless I shall wash you, not you have part with Me. (aiōn g165)
ตต: ปิตร: กถิตวานฺ ภวานฺ กทาปิ มม ปาเทา น ปฺรกฺษาลยิษฺยติฯ ยีศุรกถยทฺ ยทิ ตฺวำ น ปฺรกฺษาลเย ตรฺหิ มยิ ตว โกปฺยํโศ นาสฺติฯ (aiōn g165)
9 Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, not the feet of me only but also the hands and the head.
ตทา ศิโมนฺปิตร: กถิตวานฺ เห ปฺรโภ ตรฺหิ เกวลปาเทา น, มม หเสฺตา ศิรศฺจ ปฺรกฺษาลยตุฯ
10 Says to him Jesus; The [one] having bathed himself not has need (only *no*) (except *N(K)O*) the feet to wash, but is clean wholly; and you yourselves clean are but not all.
ตโต ยีศุรวททฺ โย ชโน เธาตสฺตสฺย สรฺวฺวางฺคปริษฺกฺฤตตฺวาตฺ ปาเทา วินานฺยางฺคสฺย ปฺรกฺษาลนาเปกฺษา นาสฺติฯ ยูยํ ปริษฺกฺฤตา อิติ สตฺยํ กินฺตุ น สรฺเวฺว,
11 He knew for the [one who] was betraying Him; on account of this He said (that *no*) Not all clean you are.
ยโต โย ชนสฺตํ ปรกเรษุ สมรฺปยิษฺยติ ตํ ส ชฺญาตวาน; อเตอว ยูยํ สรฺเวฺว น ปริษฺกฺฤตา อิมำ กถำ กถิตวานฺฯ
12 When therefore He had washed the feet of them and taken the garments of Him and (he reclined *N(k)O*) again, He said to them; Do you know what I have done to you?
อิตฺถํ ยีศุเสฺตษำ ปาทานฺ ปฺรกฺษาลฺย วสฺตฺรํ ปริธายาสเน สมุปวิศฺย กถิตวานฺ อหํ ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺรติ กึ กรฺมฺมาการฺษํ ชานีถ?
13 You yourselves call Me: Teacher and Lord, and rightly you say; I am for.
ยูยํ มำ คุรุํ ปฺรภุญฺจ วทถ ตตฺ สตฺยเมว วทถ ยโตหํ เสอว ภวามิฯ
14 If therefore I myself washed your feet the Lord and the Teacher, also you yourselves ought of one another to wash the feet;
ยทฺยหํ ปฺรภุ รฺคุรุศฺจ สนฺ ยุษฺมากํ ปาทานฺ ปฺรกฺษาลิตวานฺ ตรฺหิ ยุษฺมากมปิ ปรสฺปรํ ปาทปฺรกฺษาลนมฺ อุจิตมฺฯ
15 A pattern for I gave you, that even as I myself did to you also you yourselves may do.
อหํ ยุษฺมานฺ ปฺรติ ยถา วฺยวาหรํ ยุษฺมานฺ ตถา วฺยวหรฺตฺตุมฺ เอกํ ปนฺถานํ ทรฺศิตวานฺฯ
16 Amen Amen I say to you; not is a servant greater than the master of him nor [is] a messenger greater than the [one who] having sent him.
อหํ ยุษฺมานติยถารฺถํ วทามิ, ปฺรโภ รฺทาโส น มหานฺ เปฺรรกาจฺจ เปฺรริโต น มหานฺฯ
17 If these things you know, blessed are you if you shall do them.
อิมำ กถำ วิทิตฺวา ยทิ ตทนุสารต: กรฺมฺมาณิ กุรุถ ตรฺหิ ยูยํ ธนฺยา ภวิษฺยถฯ
18 Not about all of you I speak; I myself know (whom *N(k)O*) I chose; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled: The [one] eating (with *k*) (Me *N(k)O*) the bread lifted up against Me myself the heel of him.’
สรฺเวฺวษุ ยุษฺมาสุ กถามิมำ กถยามิ อิติ น, เย มม มโนนีตาสฺตานหํ ชานามิ, กินฺตุ มม ภกฺษฺยาณิ โย ภุงฺกฺเต มตฺปฺราณปฺราติกูลฺยต: ฯ อุตฺถาปยติ ปาทสฺย มูลํ ส เอษ มานว: ฯ ยเทตทฺ ธรฺมฺมปุสฺตกสฺย วจนํ ตทนุสาเรณาวศฺยํ ฆฏิษฺยเตฯ
19 From now I am telling you before it comes to pass, so that (you may believe *NK(o)*) when it may happen that I myself am [He].
อหํ ส ชน อิตฺยตฺร ยถา ยุษฺมากํ วิศฺวาโส ชายเต ตทรฺถํ เอตาทฺฤศฆฏนาตฺ ปูรฺวฺวมฺ อหมิทานีํ ยุษฺมภฺยมกถยมฺฯ
20 Amen Amen I say to you; the [one] receiving (maybe *N(k)O*) any I shall send, Me myself receives; the [one] now Me myself receiving, receives the [One] having sent Me.
อหํ ยุษฺมานตีว ยถารฺถํ วทามิ, มยา เปฺรริตํ ชนํ โย คฺฤหฺลาติ ส มาเมว คฺฤหฺลาติ ยศฺจ มำ คฺฤหฺลาติ ส มตฺเปฺรรกํ คฺฤหฺลาติฯ
21 These things having said Jesus was troubled in spirit and He testified and said; Amen Amen I say to you that one of you will betray Me.
เอตำ กถำ กถยิตฺวา ยีศุ รฺทุ: ขี สนฺ ปฺรมาณํ ทตฺตฺวา กถิตวานฺ อหํ ยุษฺมานติยถารฺถํ วทามิ ยุษฺมากมฺ เอโก ชโน มำ ปรกเรษุ สมรฺปยิษฺยติฯ
22 Were looking (therefore *KO*) upon one another the disciples, being uncertain of whom He is speaking.
ตต: ส กมุทฺทิศฺย กถาเมตำ กถิตวานฺ อิตฺยตฺร สนฺทิคฺธา: ศิษฺยา: ปรสฺปรํ มุขมาโลกยิตุํ ปฺรารภนฺตฯ
23 There was (now *k*) reclining one (of *no*) the disciples of Him in the bosom of Jesus whom was loving Jesus;
ตสฺมินฺ สมเย ยีศุ รฺยสฺมินฺ อปฺรียต ส ศิษฺยสฺตสฺย วกฺษ: สฺถลมฺ อวาลมฺพตฯ
24 Motions therefore to him Simon Peter (and says to him *o*) (to ask *NK(o)*) who maybe (it would be *NK(o)*) about whom He is speaking.
ศิโมนฺปิตรสฺตํ สงฺเกเตนาวทตฺ, อยํ กมุทฺทิศฺย กถาเมตามฺ กถยตีติ ปฺฤจฺฉฯ
25 (Having leaned then *N(k)O*) he (thus *NO*) on the breast of Jesus he says to Him; Lord, who is it?
ตทา ส ยีโศ รฺวกฺษ: สฺถลมฺ อวลมฺพฺย ปฺฤษฺฐวานฺ, เห ปฺรโภ ส ชน: ก:?
26 Answers (therefore *O*) Jesus; He it is to whom I myself (will dip *N(k)O*) the morsel (and *no*) (will give *N(k)O*) (to him. *no*) (And *k*) (having dipped *N(k)O*) (then *NO*) the morsel (He takes [it] and *NO*) gives [it] to Judas [son] of Simon (Iscariot. *N(k)O*)
ตโต ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยวททฺ เอกขณฺฑํ ปูปํ มชฺชยิตฺวา ยไสฺม ทาสฺยามิ เสอว ส: ; ปศฺจาตฺ ปูปขณฺฑเมกํ มชฺชยิตฺวา ศิโมน: ปุตฺราย อีษฺกริโยตียาย ยิหูไท ทตฺตวานฺฯ
27 And after the morsel, then entered into him Satan. Says therefore to him Jesus; What you enact, do enact quicker.
ตสฺมินฺ ทตฺเต สติ ไศตานฺ ตมาศฺรยตฺ; ตทา ยีศุสฺตมฺ อวทตฺ ตฺวํ ยตฺ กริษฺยสิ ตตฺ กฺษิปฺรํ กุรุฯ
28 This now no [one] knew of those reclining to what He spoke to him.
กินฺตุ ส เยนาศเยน ตำ กถามกถายตฺ ตมฺ อุปวิษฺฏโลกานำ โกปิ นาพุธฺยต;
29 Some for were thinking, since the money bag had (*k*) Judas, for is saying to him Jesus; do buy what things need [of] we have for the feast, or to the poor that something he may give.
กินฺตุ ยิหูทา: สมีเป มุทฺราสมฺปุฏกสฺถิเต: เกจิทฺ อิตฺถมฺ อพุธฺยนฺต ปารฺวฺวณาสาทนารฺถํ กิมปิ ทฺรวฺยํ เกฺรตุํ วา ทริเทฺรภฺย: กิญฺจิทฺ วิตริตุํ กถิตวานฺฯ
30 Having received therefore the morsel he went out immediately; it was now night.
ตทา ปูปขณฺฑคฺรหณาตฺ ปรํ ส ตูรฺณํ พหิรคจฺฉตฺ; ราตฺริศฺจ สมุปสฺยิตาฯ
31 When therefore he had gone out, says (*k*) Jesus; Now has been glorified the Son of Man, and God has been glorified in Him,
ยิหูเท พหิรฺคเต ยีศุรกถยทฺ อิทานีํ มานวสุตสฺย มหิมา ปฺรกาศเต เตเนศฺวรสฺยาปิ มหิมา ปฺรกาศเตฯ
32 If God is glorified in Him also God will glorify Him in (Him[self] *N(k)O*) and immediately will glorify Him.
ยทิ เตเนศฺวรสฺย มหิมา ปฺรกาศเต ตรฺหีศฺวโรปิ เสฺวน ตสฺย มหิมานํ ปฺรกาศยิษฺยติ ตูรฺณเมว ปฺรกาศยิษฺยติฯ
33 Little children, yet a little while with you I am. You will seek Me, and even as I said to the Jews that Where I myself go you yourselves not are able to come, also to you I say now.
เห วตฺสา อหํ ยุษฺมาภิ: สารฺทฺธํ กิญฺจิตฺกาลมาตฺรมฺ อาเส, ตต: ปรํ มำ มฺฤคยิษฺยเธฺว กินฺตฺวหํ ยตฺสฺถานํ ยามิ ตตฺสฺถานํ ยูยํ คนฺตุํ น ศกฺษฺยถ, ยามิมำ กถำ ยิหูทีเยภฺย: กถิตวานฺ ตถาธุนา ยุษฺมภฺยมปิ กถยามิฯ
34 A commandment new I give to you that you may love one another, even as I have loved you so also you yourselves may love one another.
ยูยํ ปรสฺปรํ ปฺรียธฺวมฺ อหํ ยุษฺมาสุ ยถา ปฺรีเย ยูยมปิ ปรสฺปรมฺ ตไถว ปฺรียธฺวํ, ยุษฺมานฺ อิมำ นวีนามฺ อาชฺญามฺ อาทิศามิฯ
35 By this will know all that to Me disciples you are, if love you shall have among one another.
เตไนว ยทิ ปรสฺปรํ ปฺรียเธฺว ตรฺหิ ลกฺษเณนาเนน ยูยํ มม ศิษฺยา อิติ สรฺเวฺว ชฺญาตุํ ศกฺษฺยนฺติฯ
36 Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, where go You? Answered to him (*k*) Jesus; Where I go not you are able Me now to follow; you will follow however afterward (to me. *k*)
ศิโมนปิตร: ปฺฤษฺฐวานฺ เห ปฺรโภ ภวานฺ กุตฺร ยาสฺยติ? ตโต ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยวทตฺ, อหํ ยตฺสฺถานํ ยามิ ตตฺสฺถานํ สามฺปฺรตํ มม ปศฺจาทฺ คนฺตุํ น ศกฺโนษิ กินฺตุ ปศฺจาทฺ คมิษฺยสิฯ
37 Says to Him Peter; Lord, because of why not am I able You (to follow *NK(o)*) presently? The life of mine for You I will lay down.
ตทา ปิตร: ปฺรตฺยุทิตวานฺ, เห ปฺรโภ สามฺปฺรตํ กุโต เหโตสฺตว ปศฺจาทฺ คนฺตุํ น ศกฺโนมิ? ตฺวทรฺถํ ปฺราณานฺ ทาตุํ ศกฺโนมิฯ
38 (answers *N(k)O*) (to him *k*) Jesus; The life of you for Me will you lay down? Amen Amen I say to you; certainly not [the] rooster (may crow *N(k)O*) until that (you will deny *N(k)O*) Me three times.
ตโต ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยุกฺตวานฺ มนฺนิมิตฺตํ กึ ปฺราณานฺ ทาตุํ ศกฺโนษิ? ตฺวามหํ ยถารฺถํ วทามิ, กุกฺกุฏรวณาตฺ ปูรฺวฺวํ ตฺวํ ตฺริ รฺมามฺ อปโหฺนษฺยเสฯ
