John 13
1 Before now the feast of the Passover knowing Jesus that (came *N(k)O*) to him hour that He may depart out of world this to the Father, having loved [his] own who [were] in the world to [the] end He loved them.
ᎠᏏᏃ ᎤᏃᏒᎩ ᎧᏃᎯᏰᎩ ᏗᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗᏱ, ᏥᏌ ᎠᎦᏔᎯᏳ ᎨᏒᎩ ᎤᏍᏆᎸᎡᎸ ᎠᏂ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎤᏓᏅᏍᏗᏱ, ᎠᎦᏴᎵᎨᏍᏛᏱ ᏭᎶᎯᏍᏗᏱ, ᏧᎨᏳᎯᏳ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏔᏅᎯ ᎨᏒᎩ ᏧᏤᎵᎦ ᎡᎶᎯ ᎠᏁᎯ, ᎬᎵᏍᏆᏗᏍᎩ ᏧᎨᏳᎯᏳ ᎨᏒᎩ.
2 And supper (taking place, *N(k)O*) the devil already having put into the heart that he may betray Him (Judas *N(k)O*) [son] of Simon (Iscariot *NK(o)*)
ᎠᏍᎩᎾᏃ ᎿᎭᏉ ᎤᎳᏁᎸᎯ ᎨᏒᎩ ᎤᎾᏫᏱ ᏧᏓᏏ ᎢᏍᎦᎳᏗ ᏌᏩᏂ ᎤᏪᏥ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎶᏄᎮᏗᏱ, ᎤᎾᎵᏍᏓᏴᏃᏅᏃ,
3 knowing (*k*) (Jesus *K*) that all things (has given *N(k)O*) to Him the Father into the hands, and that from God He came forth and to God He is going,
ᏥᏌ ᎠᎦᏔᎯᏳ ᎨᏒᎩ ᎠᎦᏴᎵᎨᎢ ᏂᎦᎥ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏕᎤᏲᎯᏎᎸᎢ; ᎠᎴ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯᏱ ᏅᏓᏳᏓᎴᏅᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯᏱ ᏭᎶᎯᏍᏗ ᎨᏒᎢ,
4 He rises from the supper and lays aside the garments, And having taken a towel He girded Himself.
ᎤᎵᏍᏓᏴᏅᎢ ᏕᎤᎴᏅᎩ ᎠᎴ ᎤᏄᏪᏒᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᏁᏒᎩ ᎠᏄᏬ-ᏗᏑᎴᏗ, ᎤᏓᏠᏍᏔᏅᎩ;
5 After that He pours water into the basin and He began to wash the feet of the disciples and to wipe [them] with the towel with which He was having girded himself.
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎠᏖᎵᏙ ᎠᎹ ᎤᏟᏍᏔᏅᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᎤᎴᏅᎲᎩ ᏚᏬᏑᎴᎸ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᏧᎾᎳᏏᏕᏂ, ᎠᎴ ᏚᏅᎦᎸᎡᎸᎩ ᎠᏄᏬ-ᏗᏑᎴᏗ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᏓᏠᏍᏛ ᎤᏩᏔᏅᎩ.
6 He comes then to Simon Peter; (and *k*) who says to Him (that [question]; *ko*) Lord, You yourself my do wash feet?
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏌᏩᏂ ᏈᏓ ᎤᏬᎸ ᎤᎷᏨᎩ. ᏈᏓᏃ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᏥᎪ ᏂᎯ ᏙᏓᏍᏉᏑᎴᎵ ᏗᏆᎳᏏᏕᏂ?
7 Answered Jesus and said to him; What I myself do you yourself not know presently, you will know however after these things.
ᏥᏌ ᎤᏁᏨ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎯᎠ ᏥᏂᎦᏛᏁᎭ ᎥᏝ ᎪᎯ ᎨᏒ ᏱᎦᏔᎭ, ᎣᏂᏍᎩᏂ ᏘᎦᏙᎥᏏ.
8 Says to Him Peter; certainly not shall You wash my feet to the age. Answered (*k*) Jesus to him; only unless I shall wash you, not you have part with Me. (aiōn g165)
ᏈᏓ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎥᏝ ᎢᎸᎯᏳᎯ ᏱᏙᏓᏍᏉᏑᎴᎵ ᏗᏆᎳᏏᏕᏂ. ᏥᏌ ᎤᏁᏤᎸᎩ; ᎢᏳᏃ ᏂᎬᏲᏑᎴᎥᎾ ᏱᎩ ᎥᏝ ᏣᏤᎵᎦ ᏳᏓᏑᏯ ᎠᏆᏤᎵᎦ ᎨᏒᎢ. (aiōn g165)
9 Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, not the feet of me only but also the hands and the head.
ᏌᏩᏂ ᏈᏓ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎥᏝ ᏗᏆᎳᏏᏕᏂᏉ ᏧᏩᏒ, ᎾᏍᏉᏍᎩᏂ ᏗᏉᏰᏂ ᎠᎴ ᏥᏍᎪᎵ.
10 Says to him Jesus; The [one] having bathed himself not has need (only *no*) (except *N(K)O*) the feet to wash, but is clean wholly; and you yourselves clean are but not all.
ᏥᏌ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎩᎶ ᎤᏙᏑᎵᏌᏛ ᏥᎨᏐᎢ ᏧᎳᏏᏕᏂᏉ ᏧᏩᏒ ᏧᏬᏑᎴᏗ ᎨᏐᎢ; ᏂᎬᏃ ᎤᏓᏅᎦᎸᏛ ᎨᏐᎢ. ᎠᎴ ᏂᎯ ᎢᏣᏓᏅᎦᎸᏛ, ᎠᏎᏃ ᎥᏝ ᏂᏥᎥ ᏱᎩ.
11 He knew for the [one who] was betraying Him; on account of this He said (that *no*) Not all clean you are.
ᎠᎦᏔᎯᏳᏰᏃ ᎨᏒᎩ ᎾᏍᎩ Ꮎ ᎤᎶᏄᎮᏍᎩ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏳᏍᏗ, ᎥᏝ ᏂᏥᎥ ᎢᏣᏓᏅᎦᎸᏛ ᏱᎩ, ᎤᏛᏅᎩ.
12 When therefore He had washed the feet of them and taken the garments of Him and (he reclined *N(k)O*) again, He said to them; Do you know what I have done to you?
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏚᏬᏑᎴᎣᏁᎸ ᏧᎾᎳᏏᏕᏂ, ᎠᎴ ᎢᎤᏄᏬᎥ; ᎠᎴ ᏔᎵᏁ ᎢᎤᏪᏅ, ᎯᎠ ᏂᏚᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎢᏥᎦᏔᎭᏍᎪ ᎯᎠ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏂᏨᏯᏛᏂᏏ?
13 You yourselves call Me: Teacher and Lord, and rightly you say; I am for.
ᏔᏕᏲᎲᏍᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᏍᎩᏲᏎᎰᎢ; ᎠᎴ ᏚᏳᎪᏛ ᏂᏥᏪᏍᎪᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩᏰᏃ ᏄᏍᏗ.
14 If therefore I myself washed your feet the Lord and the Teacher, also you yourselves ought of one another to wash the feet;
ᎢᏳᏃ ᎠᏴ ᎠᎩᎬᏫᏳᎯ ᎢᏣᏤᎵᎦ ᎠᎴ ᏗᏨᏰᏲᎲᏍᎩ ᏗᏣᎳᏏᏕᏂ ᏱᏗᏨᏲᏑᎴᎭ, ᎾᏍᏉᏍᎩᏂ ᎢᏨᏒ ᎢᏣᎳᏏᏕᏂ ᏱᏗᏣᏓᏙᏑᎴᎭ.
15 A pattern for I gave you, that even as I myself did to you also you yourselves may do.
ᎢᏣᏕᎶᏆᏍᏗᏰᏃ ᎢᏨᎥᏏ, ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᏂᏨᏯᏛᏁᎸ ᎢᏣᏛᏁᏗᏱ.
16 Amen Amen I say to you; not is a servant greater than the master of him nor [is] a messenger greater than the [one who] having sent him.
ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ; ᎠᏥᎾᏝᎢ ᎥᏝ ᎤᏟ ᎠᏥᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᏱᎨᏐᎢ, ᎡᏍᎦᏉ ᎤᎾᏝᎢ; ᎠᎴ ᎥᏝ ᎠᏥᏅᏏᏛ ᎤᏟ ᎠᏥᎸᏉᏗᏳ ᏱᎨᏐᎢ, ᎡᏍᎦᏉ ᏅᏓᏳᏅᏏᏛ.
17 If these things you know, blessed are you if you shall do them.
ᎢᏳᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎯᎠ ᏱᏥᎦᏔᎭ, ᎣᏏᏳ ᏱᏣᏓᏅᏔ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏱᏂᏣᏛᏁᎭ.
18 Not about all of you I speak; I myself know (whom *N(k)O*) I chose; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled: The [one] eating (with *k*) (Me *N(k)O*) the bread lifted up against Me myself the heel of him.’
ᎥᏝ ᏂᏥᎥ ᏱᏨᏯᏛᎦ; ᎦᏥᎦᏔᎭ ᎦᏥᏯᏑᏰᏛ ᎨᏒᎢ; ᎠᏎᏃ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᏗᏱ ᎪᏪᎸᎢ, “ᎢᏧᎳᎭ ᎣᏍᏓᎵᏍᏓᏴᎲᏍᎩ ᎤᏌᎳᏓᏅ ᎦᏗᎨᏂ ᎠᏆᏡᏗᏍᎬᎢ.”
19 From now I am telling you before it comes to pass, so that (you may believe *NK(o)*) when it may happen that I myself am [He].
ᎿᎭᏉ ᎢᏨᏃᏁᎭ, ᎠᏏᏉ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅᎾ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎿᎭᏉ ᏂᎦᎵᏍᏔᏅᎭ ᎢᏦᎯᏳᏗᏱ ᎠᏴ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎨᏒᎢ.
20 Amen Amen I say to you; the [one] receiving (maybe *N(k)O*) any I shall send, Me myself receives; the [one] now Me myself receiving, receives the [One] having sent Me.
ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ; ᎩᎶ ᏓᏓᏂᎸᎨᏍᏗ ᏥᏅᏏᏛ, ᎠᏴ ᏓᏆᏓᏂᎸᎨᏍᏗ, ᎩᎶᏃ ᎠᏴ ᏓᏆᏓᏂᎸᎨᏍᏗ, ᏅᏛᎩᏅᏏᏛ ᏓᏓᏂᎸᎨᏍᏗ.
21 These things having said Jesus was troubled in spirit and He testified and said; Amen Amen I say to you that one of you will betray Me.
ᏥᏌ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᏪᏒ ᎤᏕᏯᏔᏁᎸ ᎤᏓᏅᏛᎢ, ᎠᎴ ᎬᏂᎨᏒ ᏄᏩᏁᎸᎩ, ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏒᎩ; ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᎭ ᎯᎠ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ; ᎯᎠ ᏥᏂᏣᏛᏅ ᎠᏏᏴᏫ ᎤᏓᏑᏯ ᏛᎩᎶᏄᎮᎵ.
22 Were looking (therefore *KO*) upon one another the disciples, being uncertain of whom He is speaking.
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᏚᎾᏓᎧᎿᎭᏅᎩ ᎤᎾᏠᎬᎩ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏥᏛᎦ ᎤᏁᎵᏍᏗᏱ.
23 There was (now *k*) reclining one (of *no*) the disciples of Him in the bosom of Jesus whom was loving Jesus;
ᎠᏏᏴᏫᏃ ᎬᏩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎨᏒ ᏥᏌ ᎦᏁᏥᏱ ᎦᏍᏛᎦᎸᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᏥᏌ ᎤᎨᏳᎯ.
24 Motions therefore to him Simon Peter (and says to him *o*) (to ask *NK(o)*) who maybe (it would be *NK(o)*) about whom He is speaking.
ᏌᏩᏂᏃ ᏈᏓ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎤᎵᏍᎫᏫᏎᎸᎩ ᎤᏛᏛᏗᏱ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎨᏒᎢ ᎦᏛᎬᎢ.
25 (Having leaned then *N(k)O*) he (thus *NO*) on the breast of Jesus he says to Him; Lord, who is it?
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏥᏌ ᎦᏁᏥᎢ ᎤᏍᏛᎦᎵ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎦᎪ?
26 Answers (therefore *O*) Jesus; He it is to whom I myself (will dip *N(k)O*) the morsel (and *no*) (will give *N(k)O*) (to him. *no*) (And *k*) (having dipped *N(k)O*) (then *NO*) the morsel (He takes [it] and *NO*) gives [it] to Judas [son] of Simon (Iscariot. *N(k)O*)
ᏥᏌ ᎤᏁᏨᎩ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᎠᎬᎭᎸᏛ ᏥᏁᎸᎭ ᎾᏍᎩ ᎠᏊᏅᎯ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ. ᎤᏭᏅᏃ ᎠᎬᎭᎸᏛ ᎤᏁᎸᎩ ᏧᏓᏏ ᎢᏍᎦᎳᏗ ᏌᏩᏂ ᎤᏪᏥ.
27 And after the morsel, then entered into him Satan. Says therefore to him Jesus; What you enact, do enact quicker.
ᎠᎬᎭᎸᏛᏃ ᎠᏥᏁᎸ ᏎᏓᏂ ᎤᏴᏎᎸᎩ. ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᏥᏌ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᎾᏍᎩ ᎢᏣᏛᏁᏗ ᎨᏒ ᏄᎳᏉ ᎿᎭᏛᎦ.
28 This now no [one] knew of those reclining to what He spoke to him.
ᎥᏝᏃ ᎩᎶ ᎠᏂᏅᏜᏓᎢ ᏳᏬᎵᏤ ᏄᏍᏛ ᎦᏛᎬ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎢ.
29 Some for were thinking, since the money bag had (*k*) Judas, for is saying to him Jesus; do buy what things need [of] we have for the feast, or to the poor that something he may give.
ᏧᏓᏏᏰᏃ ᏕᎦᎶᏗ ᎦᏁᎲ ᏅᏓᏳᎵᏍᏙᏔᏅᎩ ᎢᎦᏛ, ᎯᎠ ᏥᏌ ᏂᎦᏪᏏ ᎤᏁᎵᏒᎩ; ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏣᏩᎯ ᏗᎵᏍᏓᏴᏗᏱ ᎨᏒ ᎢᏳ ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᎢᎬᏙᏗ; ᎠᎴ ᎯᎠ ᏱᎩ; ᎪᎱᏍᏗ ᏘᎲᏏ ᎤᏲ ᎢᏳᎾᏛᎿᎭᏕᎩ.
30 Having received therefore the morsel he went out immediately; it was now night.
ᎿᎭᏉᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ, ᎠᎬᎭᎸᏛ ᎤᎩᏒ, ᎩᎳᏉ ᎢᏴᏛ ᎤᏄᎪᏨᎩ, ᎠᎴ ᏒᏃᏱ ᎨᏒᎩ.
31 When therefore he had gone out, says (*k*) Jesus; Now has been glorified the Son of Man, and God has been glorified in Him,
ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᎤᏄᎪᏨ, ᏥᏌ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏒᎩ; ᎿᎭᏉ ᏴᏫ ᎤᏪᏥ ᎠᏥᎸᏉᏓ, ᎾᏍᎩᏃ ᏂᎬᏂᏌ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎠᏥᎸᏉᏓ.
32 If God is glorified in Him also God will glorify Him in (Him[self] *N(k)O*) and immediately will glorify Him.
ᎢᏳᏃ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏱᏄᏩᏂᏌᏅ ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᏯᏥᎸᏉᏔᏅ, ᎤᏁᎳᏅᎯ ᎤᏩᏒ ᏅᏓᎬᏂᏌᏂ ᎾᏍᎩ ᏓᏳᎸᏉᏔᏂ, ᎠᎴ ᎩᎳᏉ ᎢᏴᏛ ᏓᏳᎸᏉᏔᏂ.
33 Little children, yet a little while with you I am. You will seek Me, and even as I said to the Jews that Where I myself go you yourselves not are able to come, also to you I say now.
ᏗᏥᏲᎵ, ᎠᏏ ᏞᎦ ᎢᏨᏰᎳᏗᏙᎭ; ᏍᎩᏲᎮᏍᏗ; ᎠᎴ ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎠᏂᏧᏏ ᏥᏂᎦᏥᏪᏎᎸᎩ, “ᏫᏥᎦᏛ ᎥᏝ ᏫᏴᎨᏥᎶᎯ,” ᏥᎦᏥᏲᏎᎸᎩ, ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎾᏍᏉ ᎿᎭᏉ ᏂᎯ ᏂᏨᏪᏎᎭ.
34 A commandment new I give to you that you may love one another, even as I have loved you so also you yourselves may love one another.
ᎢᏤ ᏗᎧᎿᎭᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᎢᏨᎥᏏ, ᏗᏣᏓᎨᏳᎯᏳ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ; ᎾᏍᎩᏯ ᎢᏨᎨᏳᎢᏳ ᏄᎵᏍᏔᏅᎢ, ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᏍᏉ ᏗᏣᏓᎨᏳᎯᏳ ᎢᏳᎵᏍᏙᏗᏱ.
35 By this will know all that to Me disciples you are, if love you shall have among one another.
ᎾᏍᎩ ᎾᏂᎥ ᎤᎾᏙᎴᎰᎯᏍᏙᏗ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ ᏍᎩᏍᏓᏩᏗᏙᎯ ᎨᏒᎢ, ᎢᏳᏃ ᏗᏣᏓᎨᏳᎯᏳ ᏱᎩ.
36 Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, where go You? Answered to him (*k*) Jesus; Where I go not you are able Me now to follow; you will follow however afterward (to me. *k*)
ᏌᏩᏂ ᏈᏓ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ, ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎭᏢ ᎭᎢ? ᏥᏌ ᎤᏁᏤᎸᎩ; ᏫᏥᎦᏛ ᎥᏝ ᎿᎭᏉ ᏴᎨᏍᎩᏍᏓᏩᏚᎦ; ᎣᏂᏍᎩᏂ ᏓᏍᎩᏍᏓᏩᏕᏏ.
37 Says to Him Peter; Lord, because of why not am I able You (to follow *NK(o)*) presently? The life of mine for You I will lay down.
ᏈᏓ ᎯᎠ ᏄᏪᏎᎸᎩ; ᏣᎬᏫᏳᎯ, ᎦᏙᏃ ᎥᏝ ᏰᎵ ᎿᎭᏉ ᎦᎬᏍᏓᏩᏛᏍᏗ ᏱᎩ? ᏂᎯ ᏅᏓᎦᎵᏍᏙᏔᏂ ᎡᎳᏗ ᏓᏥᏂ ᎬᏅᎢ.
38 (answers *N(k)O*) (to him *k*) Jesus; The life of you for Me will you lay down? Amen Amen I say to you; certainly not [the] rooster (may crow *N(k)O*) until that (you will deny *N(k)O*) Me three times.
ᏥᏌ ᎤᏁᏤᎸᎩ; ᏥᏌ ᎠᏴ ᏅᏓᎦᎵᏍᏙᏔᏂ ᎡᎳᏗ ᏘᏂ ᎲᏅᎢ? ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ, ᎤᏙᎯᏳᎯᏯ ᎯᎠ ᏂᎬᏪᏎᎭ; ᏣᏔᎦᏨᏯᎢ ᎥᏝ ᏴᏛᏴᎳᏏ ᎬᏂ ᏦᎢ ᎢᏍᏆᏓᏱᎸᎯ ᎨᏎᏍᏗ.
