John 11
1 Was now a certain [man] ailing, Lazarus of Bethany of the village of Mary and Martha the sister of her;
A był niektóry chory Łazarz z Betanii, z miasteczka Maryi i Marty, siostry jej.
2 Was now Mary the [one] having anointed the Lord with fragrant oil and having wiped the feet of Him with the hair of her, whose brother Lazarus was sick.
(A to była ona Maryja, która pomazała Pana maścią, i ucierała nogi jego włosami swojemi, której brat Łazarz chorował.)
3 Sent therefore the sisters to Him saying; Lord, behold [he] whom You love was being sick.
Posłały tedy siostry do niego, mówiąc: Panie! oto ten, którego miłujesz, choruje.
4 Having heard then Jesus said; This sickness not is unto death but for the glory of God that may be glorified the Son of God through it.
A usłyszawszy to Jezus, rzekł: Ta choroba nie jest na śmierć, ale dla chwały Bożej, aby był uwielbiony Syn Boży przez nią.
5 was loving now Jesus Martha and the sister of her and Lazarus.
A Jezus umiłował Martę i siostrę jej, i Łazarza.
6 When therefore He heard that he is sick, then indeed He remained in which He was [the] place two days.
A gdy usłyszał, iż choruje, tedy został przez dwa dni na onemże miejscu, gdzie był.
7 Then after this He says to the disciples; Let us go into Judea again.
Lecz potem rzekł do uczniów swoich: Idźmy zasię do Judzkiej ziemi.
8 Say to Him the disciples; Rabbi, just now were seeking You to stone the Jews, and again You are going there?
Rzekli mu uczniowie: Mistrzu! teraz szukali Żydowie, jakoby cię ukamionowali, a zasię tam idziesz?
9 Answered (*k*) Jesus; Surely twelve hours are there in the day? If anyone shall walk in the day, not he stumbles, because the light of the world this he sees.
Odpowiedział Jezus: Azaż nie dwanaście jest godzin dnia? Jeźli kto chodzi we dnie, nie obrazi się; bo widzi światłość tego świata.
10 if however anyone shall walk in the night, he stumbles, because the light not is in him.
A jeźli kto chodzi w nocy, obrazi się; bo w nim światła nie masz.
11 These things He said and after this He says to them; Lazarus the friend of us has fallen asleep; but I go that I may awaken him.
To powiedziawszy, potem rzekł do nich: Łazarz, przyjaciel nasz, śpi; ale idę, abym go ze snu obudził.
12 Said therefore the disciples (to Him; *N(K)O*) Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will get well.
Tedy rzekli uczniowie jego: Panie! jeźliże śpi, będzie zdrów.
13 Had spoken however Jesus of the death of him; they however thought that of the rest of sleep He speaks.
Ale Jezus mówił o śmierci jego; lecz oni mniemali, iż o zaśnięciu snem mówił.
14 Then therefore said to them Jesus plainly; Lazarus has died.
Tedy im rzekł Jezus jawnie: Łazarz umarł.
15 And I rejoice for sake of you, in order that you may believe, that not I was there; But let us go to him.
I raduję się dla was, (abyście wierzyli), żem tam nie był; ale pójdziemy do niego.
16 Said therefore Thomas who is being named Didymus to the fellow disciples; Let us go also us that we may die with Him.
Rzekł zatem Tomasz, którego zwano Dydymus, spółuczniom: Pójdźmy i my, abyśmy z nim pomarli.
17 Having come therefore Jesus found him four already days having been in the tomb.
Przyszedłszy tedy Jezus, znalazł go już cztery dni w grobie leżącego.
18 Was now Bethany near Jerusalem about away stadia fifteen.
(A była Betania blisko Jeruzalemu, jakoby na piętnaście stajan.)
19 (and *k*) Many (now *no*) of the Jews had come unto (*N(k)O*) (concerning *k*) Martha and Mary that they may console them concerning the brother (of them. *k*)
A przyszło było wiele Żydów do Marty i Maryi, aby je cieszyli po bracie ich.
20 Therefore Martha, when she heard that (*k*) Jesus is coming, met with Him; Mary however in the house was sitting.
Marta tedy, gdy usłyszała, że Jezus idzie, bieżała przeciwko niemu; ale Maryja w domu siedziała.
21 Said then Martha to Jesus; Lord, if You had been here, not then would (be dead *N(k)O*) the brother of mine.
I rzekła Marta do Jezusa: Panie! byś tu był, nie umarłby był brat mój.
22 Nevertheless even now I know that as much as maybe You may ask God will give You God.
Ale i teraz wiem, że o cokolwiek byś prosił Boga, da ci to Bóg.
23 Says to her Jesus; Will rise again the brother of you.
Rzekł jej Jezus: Wstanieć brat twój.
24 Says to him (*no*) Martha; I know that he will rise again in the resurrection in the last day.
Rzekła mu Marta: Wiem, iż wstanie przy zmartwychwstaniu w on ostateczny dzień.
25 Said to her Jesus; I myself am the resurrection and the life; the [one] believing in Me myself even if even if he shall die he will live,
I rzekł jej Jezus: Jam jest zmartwychwstanie i żywot; kto w mię wierzy, choćby też umarł, żyć będzie.
26 and everyone who is living and believing in Me myself certainly not he shall die to the age. Believe you this? (aiōn g165)
A wszelki, który żyje, a wierzy w mię, nie umrze na wieki. Wierzyszże temu? (aiōn g165)
27 She says to Him; Yes Lord; I myself have believed that You yourself are the Christ the Son of God the [One] into the world coming.
Rzekła mu: I owszem Panie! Jam uwierzyła, żeś ty jest Chrystus, Syn Boży, który miał przyjść na świat.
28 And (these things *N(k)O*) having said she went away and she called Mary the sister of her secretly having said; The Teacher is come and He calls you.
A to rzekłszy szła i potajemnie zawołała Maryję, siostrę swoję, mówiąc: jest tu nauczyciel, i woła cię.
29 She (then *no*) when she heard ([she] rose up *N(k)O*) quickly and (was coming *N(k)O*) to Him.
Ona skoro usłyszała, wnet wstała i szła do niego.
30 Not yet now had come Jesus into the village, but was (still *no*) in the place where met with Him Martha.
(A Jezus jeszcze był nie przyszedł do miasteczka, ale był na temże miejscu, gdzie Marta była wyszła przeciwko niemu.)
31 The then Jews who are being with her in the house and consoling her, having seen Mary that soon she rose up and went out, followed after her, (having supposed *N(K)O*) that she is going to the tomb that she may weep there.
Żydowie tedy, którzy z nią byli w domu, a cieszyli ją, ujrzawszy Maryję, iż prędko wstała i wyszła, szli za nią, mówiąc: Idzie do grobu, aby tam płakała.
32 Therefore Mary when she came to where was (*k*) Jesus, having seen Him she fell of Him (at *N(k)O*) the feet saying to Him; Lord, if You had been here, not then would my have died brother.
Ale Maryja, gdy tam przyszła, gdzie był Jezus, ujrzawszy go, przypadła do nóg jego i rzekła: Panie! byś tu był, nie umarłby był brat mój.
33 Jesus therefore when He saw her weeping and the having come with her Jews weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled Himself
Jezus tedy, gdy ją ujrzał płaczącą, i Żydy, którzy byli z nią przyszli, płaczące, rozrzewnił się w duchu i zafrasował się,
34 And He said; Where have you laid him? They say to Him; Lord, do come and do see.
I rzekł: Gdzieście go położyli? Rzekli mu: Panie! pójdź, a oglądaj.
35 Wept Jesus.
I zapłakał Jezus.
36 Were saying therefore the Jews; Behold how He was loving him!
Tedy rzekli Żydowie: Wej! jakoć go miłował.
37 Some however of them said; Surely was able this [man] who having opened the eyes of the blind to have caused that also this one not may have died?
A niektórzy z nich mówili: Nie mógłże ten, który otworzył oczy ślepego, uczynić, żeby ten był nie umarł?
38 Jesus therefore again being deeply moved in Himself He comes to the tomb; It was now a cave, and a stone was lying against it.
Ale Jezus zasię rozrzewniwszy się sam w sobie, przyszedł do grobu; a była jaskinia, a kamień był położony na niej.
39 Says Jesus; do take away the stone. Says to Him the sister of the [one] (having deceased *N(k)O*) Martha; Lord, already he stinks; four days for it is.
I rzekł Jezus: Odejmijcie ten kamień. Rzekła mu Marta, siostra onego umarłego: Panie! jużci cuchnie; bo już cztery dni w grobie.
40 Says to her Jesus; Surely I said to you that if you shall believe you will see the glory of God?
Powiedział jej Jezus: Azażem ci nie rzekł, iż jeźli uwierzysz, oglądasz chwałę Bożą?
41 They took away therefore the stone (where was who having died laid. *K*) Now Jesus lifted [His] eyes upwards and said; Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.
Odjęli tedy kamień, gdzie był umarły położony. A Jezus podniósłszy oczy swe w górę, rzekł: Ojcze! dziękuję tobie, żeś mię wysłuchał.
42 I myself and knew that always Me You hear; but on account of the crowd which already standing around I said [it], that they may believe that You yourself Me sent.
A jamci wiedział, że mię zawsze wysłuchiwasz; alem to rzekł dla ludu wokoło stojącego, aby wierzyli, żeś ty mię posłał.
43 And these things having said in a voice loud He cried out; Lazarus, come forth.
A to rzekłszy, zawołał głosem wielkim: Łazarzu! wynijdź sam!
44 (and *k*) Came forth the [one] having died bound the feet and the hands with linen strips, and the face of him in a headcloth had bound about. Says to them Jesus: do unbind him and do allow him to go.
I wyszedł ten, który był umarł, mając związane ręce i nogi chustkami, a twarz jego była chustką obwiązana. Rzekł im Jezus: Rozwiążcie go, a niechaj odejdzie.
45 Many therefore of the Jews having come to Mary and having seen (what things *NK(o)*) He did (Jesus *k*) believed in Him.
Wiele tedy z Żydów, którzy byli przyszli do Maryi, a widzieli to, co uczynił Jezus, uwierzyło weń.
46 some however of them went to the Pharisees and told to them what did (*ko*) Jesus.
Niektórzy też z nich odeszli do Faryzeuszów i powiedzieli im, co uczynił Jezus.
47 Gathered therefore the chief priests and the Pharisees a council and they were saying; What are we to do? For this man many does signs!
Tedy się zebrali przedniejsi kapłani i Faryzeuszowie w radę, i mówili: Cóż uczynimy? Albowiem ten człowiek wiele cudów czyni.
48 If we shall let him alone Him like this, all will believe in Him, and will come the Romans and will take away of us both the place and the nation.
A jeźli go tak zaniechamy, wszyscy weń uwierzą, i przyjdą Rzymianie, a wezmą nam to miejsce nasze i lud.
49 One however certain of them Caiaphas, high priest being on the year same, said to them; You yourselves not know no [thing],
A jeden z nich, Kaifasz, będąc najwyższym kapłanem onego roku, rzekł im: Wy nic nie wiecie,
50 nor (consider you *N(k)O*) that it is profitable (for you *N(K)O*) that one man may die for the people, and not all the nation may perish.
Ani myślicie, iż nam jest pożyteczno, żeby jeden człowiek umarł za lud, a żeby wszystek ten naród nie zginął.
51 This now from himself not he said, but high priest being on the year that he prophesied that was about (*k*) Jesus to die for the nation,
A tegoć nie mówił sam od siebie, ale będąc najwyższym kapłanem roku onego, prorokował, iż Jezus miał umrzeć za on naród;
52 and not for the nation only but that also the children of God those scattered He may gather together into one.
A nie tylko za on naród, ale żeby też syny Boże rozproszone w jedno zgromadził.
53 From that [very] therefore day (they plotted *N(k)O*) that they may kill Him.
Od onego tedy dnia radzili się społem, aby go zabili.
54 (*no*) Therefore Jesus no longer no longer publicly was walking among the Jews, but went away from there into the region near the wilderness to Ephraim being named a city, And there And there (He stayed *N(k)O*) with the disciples (of him. *k*)
A Jezus już nie chodził jawnie między Żydami, ale stamtąd odszedł do krainy, która jest blisko puszczy, do miasta, które zowią Efraim, i tamże mieszkał z uczniami swoimi.
55 Was now near the Passover of the Jews, and went up many to Jerusalem out of the region before the Passover so that they may purify themselves.
A była blisko wielkanoc żydowska, a wiele ich szło do Jeruzalemu z onej krainy przed wielkanocą, aby się oczyścili.
56 They were seeking therefore Jesus and were saying among one another in the temple already standing; What does it seem to you, that certainly not He may come to the feast?
I szukali Jezusa, i mówili jedni do drugich, w kościele stojąc: Co się wam zda, że nie przyszedł na święto?
57 Had given now (also *k*) the chief priests and the Pharisees (commands *N(K)O*) that if anyone shall know where He is he shall show [it], so that they may seize Him.
A przedniejsi kapłani i Faryzeuszowie wydali byli rozkazanie: Jeźliby się kto dowiedział, gdzie by był, żeby oznajmił, aby go pojmali.
