< Job 9 >
1 And he answered Job and he said.
Ningĩ Ayubu agĩcookia, akiuga atĩrĩ:
2 Truly I know that thus and what? will he be justified a person with God.
“Ti-itherũ nĩnjũũĩ ũhoro ũcio nĩ wa ma. No rĩrĩ, mũndũ angĩhota atĩa gũkorwo arĩ mũthingu mbere ya Mũrungu?
3 If someone desires to conduct a case with him not he will answer him one [time] from a thousand.
O na korwo mũndũ enda gũkararania na Ngai-rĩ, ndangĩhota kũmũcookeria kĩũria o na kĩmwe harĩ ciũria ngiri.
4 Wise of heart and strong of power who? has he shown stubbornness to him and he has remained unharmed.
Ũũgĩ wake nĩ mũingĩ mũno, na ũhoti wake nĩ mũnene. Nũũ wanaregana nake akĩgaacĩra?
5 The [one who] removes mountains and not they know [the one] who he overturns them in anger his.
Eeheragia irĩma itekũmenya, na agacingʼaũrania nĩ kũrakara.
6 The [one who] shakes [the] earth from place its and pillars its they tremble!
Athingithagia thĩ ĩkoima handũ hayo, na akainainia itugĩ ciayo.
7 The [one who] speaks to the sun and not it shines and behind [the] stars he puts a seal.
Aathaga riũa rĩkaaga kũratha; nake agiragĩrĩria ũtheri wa njata.
8 [one who] stretches out [the] heavens To only him and [one who] treads on [the] high places of [the] sea.
Nĩwe watambũrũkirie igũrũ arĩ o wiki, na athiiaga agĩkinyangaga makũmbĩ ma iria.
9 [one who] makes [the] Bear Orion and Pleiades and [the] chambers of [the] south.
Nĩwe Mũũmbi wa njata iria ciĩtagwo Nduba, na Karaũ, na Kĩrĩmĩra, o na ikundi cia njata cia mwena wa gũthini.
10 [one who] does Great [things] until there not [is] inquiry and wonders until there not [is] number.
Nĩekaga magegania matangĩmenyeka, na akaringa ciama itangĩtarĩka.
11 There! he will pass by at me and not I will see [him] and he may pass on and not I will perceive him.
Rĩrĩa aahĩtũkĩra harĩa ndĩ, ndingĩmuona; o na rĩrĩa aathiĩra harĩa ndĩ ndimenyaga.
12 There! he will snatch away who? will he turn back him who? will he say to him what? are you doing.
Angĩgutha kĩndũ-rĩ, nũũ ũngĩhota kũmũgiria? Nũũ ũngĩmũũria atĩrĩ, ‘Nĩ atĩa ũreka?’
13 God not he will turn back anger his (under him *Q(k)*) they lay prostrate [the] helpers of Rahab.
Ngai ndahingagĩrĩria marakara make; o na arĩa maateithagĩrĩria Rahabu nĩmamũinamagĩrĩra.
14 Indeed? for I I will answer him I will choose words my with him.
“Niĩ-rĩ, ndaakĩhota atĩa kũmũkararia? Ingĩruta kũ ciugo cia kũmũcookeria?
15 [I] who Though I am righteous not I will answer to judge my I will seek favor.
O na korwo ndihĩtĩtie-rĩ, ndingĩhota kũmũcookeria ũndũ; ũrĩa ingĩĩka no gũthaitha ingĩthaitha Mũnjiirithia anjiguĩre tha.
16 If I called and he answered me not I believe that he gave ear to voice my.
O na ingĩamwĩtire nake anjĩtĩke-rĩ, ndingĩĩtĩkia nĩangĩathikĩrĩirie.
17 [he] who With a storm he crushes me and he increases wounds my without cause.
We angĩamemendire na kĩhuhũkanio, na aingĩhie ironda ciakwa hatarĩ gĩtũmi.
18 Not he permits me to bring back breath my for he surfeits me bitter things.
Ndarekaga njookererwo nĩ mĩhũmũ, no nĩahatagĩrĩria na mathĩĩna.
19 If to power a strong [one] there! and if to justice who? will he summon me.
Korwo no ũhoro wa hinya-rĩ, we arĩ hinya mũno! Na korwo no ũhoro wa ciira wa kĩhooto-rĩ, nũũ ũngĩmwĩta?
20 Though I am righteous own mouth my it will condemn as guilty me [am] blameless I and it declared guilty me.
O na korwo ndiahĩtĩtie-rĩ, kanua gakwa no kandue mũhĩtia; korwo ndiarĩ na ũcuuke-rĩ, nĩkangĩanduire mũhĩtia.
21 [am] blameless I not I know self my I reject life my.
“O na gũtuĩka ndirĩ na ũcuuke-rĩ, ndikwĩrĩrĩra; muoyo wakwa nĩndĩwagĩire kĩene.
22 [is] one It there-fore I say [the] blameless and [the] wicked he [is] bringing to an end.
Ũhoro no ũrĩa ũmwe; nĩkĩo ndĩroiga atĩrĩ, ‘Aniinaga arĩa matarĩ ũcuuke o na akaniina arĩa aaganu.’
23 If a scourge it kills suddenly [the] despair of innocent [ones] he mocks.
Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa ihũũra rĩarehe gĩkuũ kĩa narua, nĩathekagĩrĩra kũũrwo nĩ hinya kwa arĩa matarĩ na mahĩtia.
24 A land - it has been given in [the] hand of a wicked [person] [the] face of judges its he covers if not then who? [is] it.
Hĩndĩ ĩrĩa bũrũri wagĩa moko-inĩ ma andũ aaganu, nĩahingaga aciirithania maitho. Akorwo ti we-rĩ, nũũ wĩkaga ũguo?
25 And days my they have been swift more than a runner they have fled not they have seen good.
“Matukũ makwa marahanyũka gũkĩra mũkinyia-ũhoro; mombũkaga matarĩ na gĩkeno o na kĩnini.
26 They have passed on with ships of reed like an eagle [which] it rushes on food.
Mahĩtũkaga na ihenya mũno ta tũtarũ twa irura, kana ta nderi igũcuuhũkĩra kĩndũ gĩa kũrĩa.
27 If to say I I will forget complaint my I will let loose face my and I will be cheerful.
Ingiuga atĩrĩ, ‘Nĩngũriganĩrwo nĩ mateta makwa, nĩngũtiga gũtukia gĩthiithi, ngene,’
28 I dread all pains my I know that not you will acquit me.
no ngeetigĩra mĩnyamaro yakwa yothe, nĩgũkorwo nĩnjũũĩ ndũkandua atĩ ndiĩhĩtie.
29 I I will be guilty why? this vanity will I labor.
Kuona atĩ nĩndĩkĩtie gũtuuo mũhĩtia-rĩ, nĩ kĩĩ gĩgũtũma ndĩĩnogie tũhũ?
30 If I washed myself (in water of *Q(K)*) snow and I cleansed with potash hands my.
O na ingĩĩthamba na thabuni, na ndĩĩthambe moko na igata-rĩ,
31 Then in pit you will dip me and they will abhor me own clothes my.
no ũndikirie irima rĩa gĩcoro nĩgeetha o na nguo ciakwa iithũũre.
32 For not [he is] a human like me I will answer him we will come together in judgment.
“We ti mũndũ ta niĩ atĩ nĩguo ndĩmũcookerie, nĩguo tũngʼethanĩre igooti-inĩ.
33 Not there between us [is] an arbiter he may put hand his on [the] two of us.
Naarĩ korwo nĩ harĩ mũndũ ũngĩtũiguithania, atũigĩrĩre guoko gwake ithuĩ eerĩ,
34 Let him remove from on me rod his and dread his may not it terrify me.
mũndũ wa kũnjehereria rũthanju rwa Ngai, nĩgeetha ndigacooke kũmakio nĩ itebeebania rĩake.
35 I will speak and not I will fear him for not [am] thus I with myself.
Hĩndĩ ĩyo nĩingĩacooka kwaragia itekũmwĩtigĩra, no ũrĩa ndariĩ rĩu-rĩ, ndingĩhota.
