< Job 4 >
1 And he answered Eliphaz the Temanite and he said.
Ìgbà náà ni Elifasi, ará Temani dáhùn wí pé,
2 ¿ Did someone attempt a word to you will you be impatient? and to restrain words who? is he able.
“Bí àwa bá fi ẹnu lé e, láti bá ọ sọ̀rọ̀, ìwọ o ha banújẹ́? Ṣùgbọ́n ta ni ó lè pa ọ̀rọ̀ mọ́ ẹnu láìsọ?
3 There! you have instructed many [people] and hands slack you strengthened.
Kíyèsi i, ìwọ sá ti kọ́ ọ̀pọ̀ ènìyàn, ìwọ ṣá ti mú ọwọ́ aláìlera le.
4 [the] stumbling They raised! words your and knees bending you strengthened.
Ọ̀rọ̀ rẹ ti gbé àwọn tí ń ṣubú lọ dúró, ìwọ sì ti mú eékún àwọn tí ń wárìrì lera.
5 For now - it comes to you and you have become impatient it reaches to you and you have become dismayed.
Ṣùgbọ́n nísinsin yìí ó dé bá ọ, ó sì rẹ̀ ọ́, ó kọlù ọ́; ara rẹ kò lélẹ̀.
6 ¿ Not [is] fear your confidence your hope your and [the] integrity of ways your.
Ìbẹ̀rù Ọlọ́run rẹ kò ha jẹ́ ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé rẹ àti ìdúró ọ̀nà rẹ kò ha sì jẹ́ ìrètí rẹ?
7 Remember please who? that innocent did he perish and where? upright [people] were they destroyed.
“Èmi bẹ̀ ọ́ rántí, ta ni ó ṣègbé rí láìṣẹ̀? Tàbí níbo ni a gbé gé olódodo kúrò rí?
8 Just as I have seen plowers of wickedness and sowers of mischief they harvest it.
Àní bí èmi ti rí i pé, àwọn tí ń ṣe ìtulẹ̀ ẹ̀ṣẹ̀, tí wọ́n sì fún irúgbìn ìwà búburú, wọn a sì ká èso rẹ̀ náà.
9 From [the] breath of God they perish and from [the] breath of anger his they come to an end.
Nípa ìfẹ́ sí Ọlọ́run wọn a ṣègbé, nípa èémí ìbínú rẹ̀ wọn a parun.
10 [the] roaring of A lion and [the] sound of a lion and [the] teeth of young lions they are broken out.
Bíbú ramúramù kìnnìún àti ohùn òǹrorò kìnnìún àti eyín àwọn ẹgbọrọ kìnnìún ní a ká.
11 A lion [is] perishing because not prey and [the] young of a lion they are scattered.
Kìnnìún kígbe, nítorí àìrí ohun ọdẹ, àwọn ẹgbọrọ kìnnìún sísanra ni a túká kiri.
12 And to me a word it was brought secretly and it received ear my a whisper of it.
“Ǹjẹ́ nísinsin yìí a fi ohun àṣírí kan hàn fún mi, etí mi sì gbà díẹ̀ nínú rẹ̀.
13 In disquieting thoughts from visions of [the] night when falls deep sleep on people.
Ní ìrò inú lójú ìran òru, nígbà tí oorun èjìká kùn ènìyàn.
14 Fear it happened to me and trembling and [the] multitude of bones my it caused to tremble.
Ẹ̀rù bà mí àti ìwárìrì tí ó mú gbogbo egungun mi jí pépé.
15 And a wind over face my it passed over it made bristle [the] hair of flesh my.
Nígbà náà ni ẹ̀mí kan kọjá lọ ní iwájú mi, irun ara mi dìde dúró ṣánṣán.
16 It stood still - and not I recognized appearance its a form [was] to before eyes my a whisper and a voice I heard.
Ó dúró jẹ́ẹ́, ṣùgbọ́n èmi kò le wo àpẹẹrẹ ìrí rẹ̀, àwòrán kan hàn níwájú mi, ìdákẹ́rọ́rọ́ wà, mo sì gbóhùn kan wí pé,
17 ¿ A person from God will he be righteous or? from maker his will he be pure a man.
‘Ẹni kíkú le jẹ́ olódodo ju Ọlọ́run, ènìyàn ha le mọ́ ju ẹlẹ́dàá rẹ̀ bí?
18 There! in servants his not he trusts and against messengers his he charges error.
Kíyèsi i, òun kò gbẹ́kẹ̀lé àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀, nínú àwọn angẹli rẹ̀ ní ó sì rí ẹ̀ṣẹ̀.
19 Also - [those who] dwell of houses of clay which [is] in the dust foundation their people crush them before a moth.
Mélòó mélòó àwọn tí ń gbé inú ilé amọ̀, ẹni tí ìpìlẹ̀ wọ́n jásí erùpẹ̀ tí yóò di rírun kòkòrò.
20 From morning to evening they are crushed to pieces because not [one who] sets to perpetuity they perish.
A pa wọ́n run láàrín òwúrọ̀ àti àṣálẹ́ wọ́n sì parun títí láé, láìrí ẹni kà á sí.
21 ¿ Not has it been pulled up tent cord their in them will they die? and not with wisdom.
A kò ha ké okùn iye wọ́n kúrò bí? Wọ́n kú, àní láìlọ́gbọ́n?’
