Job 4
1 And he answered Eliphaz the Temanite and he said.
| ויען אליפז התימני ויאמר׃ |
2 ¿ Did someone attempt a word to you will you be impatient? and to restrain words who? is he able.
| הנסה דבר אליך תלאה ועצר במלין מי יוכל׃ |
3 There! you have instructed many [people] and hands slack you strengthened.
| הנה יסרת רבים וידים רפות תחזק׃ |
4 [the] stumbling They raised! words your and knees bending you strengthened.
| כושל יקימון מליך וברכים כרעות תאמץ׃ |
5 For now - it comes to you and you have become impatient it reaches to you and you have become dismayed.
| כי עתה תבוא אליך ותלא תגע עדיך ותבהל׃ |
6 ¿ Not [is] fear your confidence your hope your and [the] integrity of ways your.
| הלא יראתך כסלתך תקותך ותם דרכיך׃ |
7 Remember please who? that innocent did he perish and where? upright [people] were they destroyed.
| זכר נא מי הוא נקי אבד ואיפה ישרים נכחדו׃ |
8 Just as I have seen plowers of wickedness and sowers of mischief they harvest it.
| כאשר ראיתי חרשי און וזרעי עמל יקצרהו׃ |
9 From [the] breath of God they perish and from [the] breath of anger his they come to an end.
| מנשמת אלוה יאבדו ומרוח אפו יכלו׃ |
10 [the] roaring of A lion and [the] sound of a lion and [the] teeth of young lions they are broken out.
| שאגת אריה וקול שחל ושני כפירים נתעו׃ |
11 A lion [is] perishing because not prey and [the] young of a lion they are scattered.
| ליש אבד מבלי טרף ובני לביא יתפרדו׃ |
12 And to me a word it was brought secretly and it received ear my a whisper of it.
| ואלי דבר יגנב ותקח אזני שמץ מנהו׃ |
13 In disquieting thoughts from visions of [the] night when falls deep sleep on people.
| בשעפים מחזינות לילה בנפל תרדמה על אנשים׃ |
14 Fear it happened to me and trembling and [the] multitude of bones my it caused to tremble.
| פחד קראני ורעדה ורב עצמותי הפחיד׃ |
15 And a wind over face my it passed over it made bristle [the] hair of flesh my.
| ורוח על פני יחלף תסמר שערת בשרי׃ |
16 It stood still - and not I recognized appearance its a form [was] to before eyes my a whisper and a voice I heard.
| יעמד ולא אכיר מראהו תמונה לנגד עיני דממה וקול אשמע׃ |
17 ¿ A person from God will he be righteous or? from maker his will he be pure a man.
| האנוש מאלוה יצדק אם מעשהו יטהר גבר׃ |
18 There! in servants his not he trusts and against messengers his he charges error.
| הן בעבדיו לא יאמין ובמלאכיו ישים תהלה׃ |
19 Also - [those who] dwell of houses of clay which [is] in the dust foundation their people crush them before a moth.
| אף שכני בתי חמר אשר בעפר יסודם ידכאום לפני עש׃ |
20 From morning to evening they are crushed to pieces because not [one who] sets to perpetuity they perish.
| מבקר לערב יכתו מבלי משים לנצח יאבדו׃ |
21 ¿ Not has it been pulled up tent cord their in them will they die? and not with wisdom.
| הלא נסע יתרם בם ימותו ולא בחכמה׃ |
