Job 4
1 And he answered Eliphaz the Temanite and he said.
Alors Éliphaz, de Théman, prit la parole, et dit:
2 ¿ Did someone attempt a word to you will you be impatient? and to restrain words who? is he able.
Si l'on tente de te parler, te fâcheras-tu? Mais qui pourrait retenir ses paroles?
3 There! you have instructed many [people] and hands slack you strengthened.
Voici, tu as souvent instruit les autres, et tu as fortifié les mains affaiblies;
4 [the] stumbling They raised! words your and knees bending you strengthened.
Tes paroles ont relevé ceux qui chancelaient, et tu as raffermi les genoux qui pliaient.
5 For now - it comes to you and you have become impatient it reaches to you and you have become dismayed.
Et maintenant que le malheur t'arrive, tu te fâches; et parce qu'il t'a atteint, tu es tout éperdu!
6 ¿ Not [is] fear your confidence your hope your and [the] integrity of ways your.
Ta piété ne fait-elle pas ta confiance? Ton espérance, n'est-ce pas l'intégrité de tes voies?
7 Remember please who? that innocent did he perish and where? upright [people] were they destroyed.
Cherche dans ta mémoire; quel est l'innocent qui a péri, et où des justes ont-ils été exterminés?
8 Just as I have seen plowers of wickedness and sowers of mischief they harvest it.
Pour moi, j'ai vu que ceux qui labourent l'iniquité et qui sèment la peine, la moissonnent.
9 From [the] breath of God they perish and from [the] breath of anger his they come to an end.
Ils périssent par le souffle de Dieu, et ils sont consumés par le vent de sa colère.
10 [the] roaring of A lion and [the] sound of a lion and [the] teeth of young lions they are broken out.
Le rugissement du lion, le cri du grand lion cesse, et les dents du lionceau sont anéanties;
11 A lion [is] perishing because not prey and [the] young of a lion they are scattered.
Le lion périt faute de proie, et les petits de la lionne sont dispersés.
12 And to me a word it was brought secretly and it received ear my a whisper of it.
Une parole m'est furtivement arrivée, et mon oreille en a saisi le murmure.
13 In disquieting thoughts from visions of [the] night when falls deep sleep on people.
Au milieu de mes pensées, pendant les visions de la nuit, quand un profond sommeil tombe sur les humains,
14 Fear it happened to me and trembling and [the] multitude of bones my it caused to tremble.
Une frayeur et un tremblement me saisirent, et effrayèrent tous mes os.
15 And a wind over face my it passed over it made bristle [the] hair of flesh my.
Un esprit passa devant moi, et fit hérisser le poil de ma chair.
16 It stood still - and not I recognized appearance its a form [was] to before eyes my a whisper and a voice I heard.
Il se tint là et je ne reconnus pas son visage; une figure était devant mes yeux. Il y eut un silence; et j'entendis une voix:
17 ¿ A person from God will he be righteous or? from maker his will he be pure a man.
“L'homme sera-t-il juste devant Dieu? L'homme sera-t-il pur devant celui qui l'a fait?
18 There! in servants his not he trusts and against messengers his he charges error.
Voici, il ne se fie pas à ses serviteurs, il trouve des défauts à ses anges.
19 Also - [those who] dwell of houses of clay which [is] in the dust foundation their people crush them before a moth.
Combien plus chez ceux qui habitent des maisons d'argile, qui ont leurs fondements dans la poussière, qu'on écrase comme des vermisseaux!
20 From morning to evening they are crushed to pieces because not [one who] sets to perpetuity they perish.
Ils sont détruits du matin au soir; sans qu'on y prenne garde, ils périssent pour toujours.
21 ¿ Not has it been pulled up tent cord their in them will they die? and not with wisdom.
La corde de leur tente est coupée, ils meurent, sans avoir été sages. “
