< Job 4 >

1 And he answered Eliphaz the Temanite and he said.
Tete Temanitɔ Elifaz ɖo eŋu na Hiob be,
2 ¿ Did someone attempt a word to you will you be impatient? and to restrain words who? is he able.
“Ne ame aɖe te kpɔ be yeaƒo nu kpli wò la, ɖe nàgbɔ dzi ɖi aseea? Ke ame kae ate ŋu azi ɖoɖoe le nu sia ŋuti?
3 There! you have instructed many [people] and hands slack you strengthened.
Bu ale si nèfia nu ame geɖewo kple ale si nèdo ŋusẽ asi beliwoe ŋuti.
4 [the] stumbling They raised! words your and knees bending you strengthened.
Wò nyawo lé ame siwo yina anyi dze ge la ɖe te eye nèdo ŋusẽ klo beliwo.
5 For now - it comes to you and you have become impatient it reaches to you and you have become dismayed.
Ke azɔ la, dzɔgbevɔ̃e va dziwò, eye dzi ɖe le ƒo wò; eƒo wò ƒu anyi eye nèse veve.
6 ¿ Not [is] fear your confidence your hope your and [the] integrity of ways your.
Ɖe wò Mawuvɔvɔ̃ manye wò dzideƒo eye wò blibodede nanye wò mɔkpɔkpɔ oa?
7 Remember please who? that innocent did he perish and where? upright [people] were they destroyed.
“Azɔ bu eŋuti kpɔ. Ame maɖifɔ ka wohe to na kpɔ? Afi ka wogblẽ ame dzɔdzɔe dome le kpɔ?
8 Just as I have seen plowers of wickedness and sowers of mischief they harvest it.
Abe ale si mede dzesii ene la, ame siwo ŋlɔ vɔ̃ɖivɔ̃ɖi ƒe agble eye woƒã dzɔgbevɔ̃e lae ŋenɛ.
9 From [the] breath of God they perish and from [the] breath of anger his they come to an end.
Ne Mawu gbɔ ɖe wo dzi la woyrɔna eye ne eƒe dziku fla la wotsrɔ̃na.
10 [the] roaring of A lion and [the] sound of a lion and [the] teeth of young lions they are broken out.
Dzatawo aɖe gbe, axlɔ̃ sesĩe gake woate ŋu aŋe aɖu na dzataviwo.
11 A lion [is] perishing because not prey and [the] young of a lion they are scattered.
Dzata kuna ne mekpɔ nu lé o eye dzatanɔwo kakana.
12 And to me a word it was brought secretly and it received ear my a whisper of it.
“Wotsɔ nya aɖe vɛ nam le adzame, nye towo see wotsɔe do dalĩ nam.
13 In disquieting thoughts from visions of [the] night when falls deep sleep on people.
Le drɔ̃ewo me le zã me, esi amewo dɔ alɔ̃ yi eme ʋĩi la,
14 Fear it happened to me and trembling and [the] multitude of bones my it caused to tremble.
vɔvɔ̃ kple dzodzo nyanyanya lém eye wona nye ƒuwo katã dzo kpekpekpe.
15 And a wind over face my it passed over it made bristle [the] hair of flesh my.
Gbɔgbɔ aɖe ɖo asagba va to nye ŋkume yi eye ɖadoe ɖo to ɖe ŋunye.
16 It stood still - and not I recognized appearance its a form [was] to before eyes my a whisper and a voice I heard.
Etɔ gake nyemate ŋu agblɔ nu si wònye o. Nɔnɔme aɖe va tsi tsitre ɖe ŋkunye me eye mese gbe bɔlɔe aɖe be,
17 ¿ A person from God will he be righteous or? from maker his will he be pure a man.
‘Ɖe ame kodzogbea anɔ dzɔdzɔe wu Mawua? Ɖe amegbetɔ anɔ dzadzɛe wu eƒe Wɔlaa?
18 There! in servants his not he trusts and against messengers his he charges error.
Ne Mawu meka ɖe eƒe dɔlawo dzi o eye wòbua fɔ eƒe dɔlawo be woda vo,
19 Also - [those who] dwell of houses of clay which [is] in the dust foundation their people crush them before a moth.
ʋuu keke, ke wòahanye ame siwo le anyixɔwo me, ame siwo gɔme woɖo anyi ɖe ke me eye wogbãa wo bɔbɔe abe ŋɔvi ene!
20 From morning to evening they are crushed to pieces because not [one who] sets to perpetuity they perish.
Wogbãa wo gudugudu le fɔŋli kple zã dome, ame aɖeke menyana gɔ̃ hã o, ale wotsrɔ̃na gbidii.
21 ¿ Not has it been pulled up tent cord their in them will they die? and not with wisdom.
Ɖe womehoa woƒe agbadɔkawo, ale be woaku numanyamanyae oa?’”
