Job 38
1 And he answered Yahweh Job (from - *Q(K)*) (the tempest *Q(k)*) and he said.
Da antwortete der HERR dem Hiob aus dem Gewittersturm und sprach:
2 Who? this - [is] making dark counsel by words not knowledge.
Wer verfinstert da Gottes Rat mit seinen unverständigen Reden?
3 Gird up please like a man loins your and I will ask you and make known to me.
Gürte doch deine Lenden wie ein Mann! Ich will dich fragen, lehre mich!
4 Where? were you when founded I [the] earth tell if you know understanding.
Wo warst du, als ich den Grund der Erde legte? Sage an, wenn du es weißt!
5 Who? did he appoint measurements its for you know or who? did he stretch out on it a measuring-line.
Wer hat ihre Maße bestimmt? Weißt du das? Oder wer hat die Meßschnur über sie ausgespannt?
6 On what? bases its were they sunk or who? did he lay [the] stone of corner its.
Worauf wurden ihre Grundpfeiler gestellt, oder wer hat ihren Eckstein gelegt,
7 When sang together [the] stars of morning and they shouted all [the] sons of God.
als die Morgensterne miteinander jauchzten und alle Söhne Gottes jubelten?
8 And he shut off with doors [the] sea when burst forth it from [the] womb it came forth.
Wer hat das Meer mit Dämmen umgeben, als es hervorbrach wie aus Mutterleib,
9 When made I cloud[s] clothing its and thick darkness swaddling-band its.
da ich es in Wolken kleidete und es in dicke Nebel, wie in Windeln band;
10 And I broke on it boundary my and I set in place a bar and doors.
da ich ihm seine Grenze zog und ihm Damm und Riegel gab und zu ihm sprach:
11 And I said to here you will come and not you will add and here someone will fix in [the] pride of waves your.
«Bis hierher sollst du kommen und nicht weiter, hier soll sich legen deiner Wellen Stolz!»?
12 ¿ From days your have you commanded morning (you caused to know the dawn *Q(K)*) place its.
Hast du zu deiner Zeit den Sonnenaufgang angeordnet und dem Morgenrot seinen Platz angewiesen,
13 To take hold on [the] corners of the earth so they may be shaken wicked [people] from it.
daß es die Enden der Erde ergreife, damit die Frevler von ihr abgeschüttelt werden?
14 It is changed like [the] clay of a seal so they may stand forth like clothing.
Sie wandelt sich wie Ton unter dem Siegel und alles steht da wie ein [Pracht-]Gewand;
15 So it may be withheld from wicked [people] light their and an arm uplifted it is broken.
den Gottlosen wird ihr Licht entzogen und der Frevler Arm zerbricht.
16 ¿ Have you gone to [the] springs of [the] sea and in [the] depth of [the] deep have you walked about?
Bist du auch bis zu den Meeresquellen gekommen, oder hast du die Meerestiefe ausgeforscht?
17 ¿ Have they been revealed to you [the] gates of death and [the] gates of deep darkness have you seen?
Sind dir die Tore des Todes geöffnet worden, oder hast du die Tore des Todesschattens gesehen?
18 Have you shown yourself attentive? to [the] broad spaces of [the] earth tell if you know all of it.
Hast du die Breiten der Erde überschaut? Weißt du das alles, so sage es mir!
19 Where? this [is] the way [where] it dwells light and darkness where? this [is] place its.
Welches ist der Weg zu den Wohnungen des Lichts, und wo hat die Finsternis ihren Ort,
20 That you will take it to territory its and that you will discern [the] paths of house its.
daß du bis zu ihrer Grenze gelangen und den Pfad zu ihrem Hause finden könntest?
21 You know for then you were born and [the] number of days your [is] many.
Du weißt es, denn zu der Zeit warst du geboren, und die Zahl deiner Tage ist groß!
22 ¿ Have you gone into [the] storehouses of snow and [the] storehouses of hail have you seen?
Bist du auch bis zu den Vorratskammern des Schnees gekommen, und hast du die Speicher des Hagels gesehen,
23 Which I have kept back for [the] time of distress for [the] day of battle and warfare.
die ich aufbehalten habe für die Zeit der Not, für den Tag des Krieges und des Streits?
24 Where? this [is] the way [where] it is divided light [where] it scatters [the] east wind over [the] earth.
Auf welche Weise verteilt sich das Licht, und wie verbreitet sich der Ostwind über die Erde?
25 Who? does he divide for the flood a channel and a path for [the] storm of thunder claps.
Wer hat dem Regenstrom sein Bett gegraben und dem Donnerstrahl einen Weg gebahnt,
26 To send rain on a land not anyone a wilderness [which] not anyone [is] in it.
damit es regne auf unbewohntes Land, auf die Wüste, wo kein Mensch ist,
27 To satisfy devastation and desolation and to cause to sprout a going forth of vegetation.
um zu sättigen die Einöde und Wildnis, damit das junge Grün gedeihen kann?
28 ¿ [is] there For the rain a father or who? does he father [the] drops of dew.
Hat der Regen auch einen Vater, und wer hat die Tropfen des Taues erzeugt?
29 From [the] womb of whom? does it come forth the ice and [the] frost of heaven who? does he give birth to it.
Aus wessen Leibe ist das Eis hervorgegangen, und wer hat des Himmels Reif geboren?
30 Like stone waters they become hard and [the] surface of [the] deep they freeze.
Wie zu Stein erstarren die Gewässer, und der Wasserspiegel schließt sich fest zusammen.
31 ¿ Will you bind on [the] bonds of Pleiades or? [the] chains of Orion will you loosen.
Hast du die Bande des Siebengestirns geknüpft, oder kannst du die Fesseln des Orion lösen?
32 ¿ Will you lead out [the] constellations at appropriate time its and [the] Bear with young ones its will you guide? them.
Kannst du die Zeichen des Tierkreises zu ihrer Zeit herausführen, und leitest du den Großen Bären samt seinen Jungen?
33 ¿ Do you know [the] statutes of [the] heavens or? do you appoint rule its over the earth.
Kennst du die Gesetze des Himmels, oder bestimmst du seine Herrschaft über die Erde?
34 ¿ Will you lift up to the cloud[s] voice your and an abundance of water will you cover? yourself.
Kannst du deine Stimme zu den Wolken erheben [und befehlen], daß dich Regengüsse bedecken?
35 ¿ Will you send forth lightning so they may go and they may say to you here [are] we.
Kannst du Blitze entsenden, daß sie hinfahren und zu dir sagen: Siehe, hier sind wir?
36 Who? has he put in the inner parts wisdom or who? has he given to the heart understanding.
Wer hat Weisheit in die Nieren gelegt, oder wer hat dem Herzen Verstand verliehen?
37 Who? will he count [the] clouds by wisdom and [the] waterskins of heaven who? will he make to lie down.
Wer zählt die Wolken mit Weisheit, und wer schüttet die Schläuche des Himmels aus,
38 When flows [the] dust into lump and [the] clods they are joined together.
daß der Staub zu Klumpen wird und die Schollen aneinander kleben?
39 ¿ Will you hunt for a lion prey and [the] life of young lions will you fill?
Jagst du der Löwin ihre Beute und stillst die Begierde der jungen Löwen,
40 If they will crouch in dens they will remain in thicket for lying-in-wait.
wenn sie in ihren Höhlen kauern, im Dickicht auf der Lauer liegen?
41 Who? does he prepare for the raven food-supply its if (young ones its *Q(K)*) to God they will cry for help they will wander about for not food.
Wer bereitet den Raben ihre Speise, wenn ihre Jungen zu Gott schreien und aus Mangel an Nahrung herumflattern?
