Job 38
1 And he answered Yahweh Job (from - *Q(K)*) (the tempest *Q(k)*) and he said.
| ثُمَّ قَالَ الرَّبُّ لأَيُّوبَ مِنَ الْعَاصِفَةِ: | ١ |
2 Who? this - [is] making dark counsel by words not knowledge.
| «مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُظْلِمُ الْقَضَاءَ بِكَلامٍ مُجَرَّدٍ مِنَ الْمَعْرِفَةِ؟ | ٢ |
3 Gird up please like a man loins your and I will ask you and make known to me.
| اشْدُدْ حَقَوَيْكَ كَرَجُلٍ لأَسْأَلَكَ فَتُجِيبَنِي | ٣ |
4 Where? were you when founded I [the] earth tell if you know understanding.
| أَيْنَ كُنْتَ عِنْدَمَا أَسَّسْتُ الأَرْضَ؟ أَخْبِرْنِي إِنْ كُنْتَ ذَا حِكْمَةٍ. | ٤ |
5 Who? did he appoint measurements its for you know or who? did he stretch out on it a measuring-line.
| مَنْ حَدَّدَ مَقَايِيسَهَا، إِنْ كُنْتَ حَقّاً تَعْرِفُ؟ أَوْ مَنْ مَدَّ عَلَيْهَا خَيْطَ الْقِيَاسِ؟ | ٥ |
6 On what? bases its were they sunk or who? did he lay [the] stone of corner its.
| عَلَى أَيِّ شَيْءٍ اسْتَقَرَّتْ قَوَاعِدُهَا؟ وَمَنْ وَضَعَ حَجَرَ زَاوِيَتِهَا؟ | ٦ |
7 When sang together [the] stars of morning and they shouted all [the] sons of God.
| بَيْنَمَا كَانَتْ كَوَاكِبُ السَّمَاءِ تَتَرَنَّمُ مَعاً وَمَلائِكَةُ اللهِ تَهْتِفُ بِفَرَحٍ. | ٧ |
8 And he shut off with doors [the] sea when burst forth it from [the] womb it came forth.
| مَنْ حَجَزَ الْبَحْرَ بِبَوَّابَاتٍ، عِنْدَمَا انْدَفَقَ مِنْ رَحِمِ الأَرْضِ، | ٨ |
9 When made I cloud[s] clothing its and thick darkness swaddling-band its.
| حِينَ جَعَلْتُ السُّحُبَ لِبَاساً لَهُ وَالظُّلْمَةَ قِمَاطَهُ، | ٩ |
10 And I broke on it boundary my and I set in place a bar and doors.
| عِنْدَمَا عَيَّنْتُ لَهُ حُدُوداً، وَأَثْبَتُّ بَوَّابَاتِهِ وَمَغَالِيقَهُ فِي مَوَاضِعِهَا، | ١٠ |
11 And I said to here you will come and not you will add and here someone will fix in [the] pride of waves your.
| وَقُلْتُ لَهُ: إِلَى هُنَا تُخُومُكَ فَلا تَتَعَدَّاهَا، وَهُنَا يَتَوَقَّفُ عُتُوُّ أَمْوَاجِكَ؟ | ١١ |
12 ¿ From days your have you commanded morning (you caused to know the dawn *Q(K)*) place its.
| هَلْ أَمَرْتَ مَرَّةً الصُّبْحَ فِي أَيَّامِكَ، وَأَرَيْتَ الْفَجْرَ مَوْضِعَهُ، | ١٢ |
13 To take hold on [the] corners of the earth so they may be shaken wicked [people] from it.
| لِيَقْبِضَ عَلَى أَكْنَافِ الأَرْضِ وَيَنْفُضَ الأَشْرَارَ مِنْهَا؟ | ١٣ |
14 It is changed like [the] clay of a seal so they may stand forth like clothing.
| تَتَشَكَّلُ كَطِينٍ تَحْتَ الْخَاتَمِ، وَتَبْدُو مَعَالِمُهَا كَمَعَالِمِ الرِّدَاءِ. | ١٤ |
15 So it may be withheld from wicked [people] light their and an arm uplifted it is broken.
| يَمْتَنِعُ النُّورُ عَنِ الأَشْرَارِ، وَتَتَحَطَّمُ ذِرَاعُهُمُ الْمُرْتَفِعَةُ. | ١٥ |
16 ¿ Have you gone to [the] springs of [the] sea and in [the] depth of [the] deep have you walked about?
| هَلْ غُصْتَ إِلَى يَنَابِيعِ الْبَحْرِ، أَمْ دَلَفْتَ إِلَى مَقَاصِيرِ اللُّجَجِ؟ | ١٦ |
17 ¿ Have they been revealed to you [the] gates of death and [the] gates of deep darkness have you seen?
| هَلِ اطَّلَعْتَ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَنِيَّةِ، أَمْ رَأَيْتَ بَوَّابَاتِ ظِلالِ الْمَوْتِ؟ | ١٧ |
18 Have you shown yourself attentive? to [the] broad spaces of [the] earth tell if you know all of it.
| هَلْ أَحَطْتَ بِعَرْضِ الأَرْضِ؟ أَخْبِرْنِي إِنْ كُنْتَ بِكُلِّ هَذَا عَلِيماً. | ١٨ |
19 Where? this [is] the way [where] it dwells light and darkness where? this [is] place its.
| أَيْنَ الطَّرِيقُ إِلَى مَقَرِّ النُّورِ، وَأَيْنَ مُسْتَقَرُّ الظُّلْمَةِ؟ | ١٩ |
20 That you will take it to territory its and that you will discern [the] paths of house its.
| حَتَّى تَقُودَهَا إِلَى تُخُومِهَا وَتَعْرِفَ سُبُلَ مَسْكَنِهَا؟ | ٢٠ |
21 You know for then you were born and [the] number of days your [is] many.
| حَقّاً أَنْتَ تَعْرِفُهَا لأَنَّكَ آنَئِذٍ كُنْتَ قَدْ وُلِدْتَ وَعِشْتَ أَيَّاماً طَوِيلَةً! | ٢١ |
22 ¿ Have you gone into [the] storehouses of snow and [the] storehouses of hail have you seen?
| هَلْ دَخَلْتَ إِلَى مَخَازِنِ الثَّلْجِ، أَمْ رَأَيْتَ خَزَائِنَ الْبَرَدِ، | ٢٢ |
23 Which I have kept back for [the] time of distress for [the] day of battle and warfare.
| الَّتِي ادَّخَرْتُهَا لأَوْقَاتِ الضِّيقِ، لِيَوْمِ الْمَعْرَكَةِ وَالْحَرْبِ؟ | ٢٣ |
24 Where? this [is] the way [where] it is divided light [where] it scatters [the] east wind over [the] earth.
| مَا هُوَ السَّبِيلُ إِلَى مَوْضِعِ انْتِشَارِ النُّورِ، أَوْ أَيْنَ تَتَوَزَّعُ الرِّيحُ الشَّرْقِيَّةُ عَلَى الأَرْضِ؟ | ٢٤ |
25 Who? does he divide for the flood a channel and a path for [the] storm of thunder claps.
| مَنْ حَفَرَ قَنَوَاتٍ لِسُيُولِ الْمَطَرِ، وَمَمَرّاً لِلصَّوَاعِقِ، | ٢٥ |
26 To send rain on a land not anyone a wilderness [which] not anyone [is] in it.
| لِيُمْطِرَ عَلَى أَرْضٍ مُقْفِرَةٍ لَا إِنْسَانَ فِيهَا، | ٢٦ |
27 To satisfy devastation and desolation and to cause to sprout a going forth of vegetation.
| لِيُرْوِيَ الأَرْضَ الْخَرِبَةَ، وَلِيَسْتَنْبِتَ الأَرْضَ عُشْباً؟ | ٢٧ |
28 ¿ [is] there For the rain a father or who? does he father [the] drops of dew.
| هَلْ لِلْمَطَرِ أَبٌ؟ وَمَنْ أَنْجَبَ قَطَرَاتِ النَّدَى؟ | ٢٨ |
29 From [the] womb of whom? does it come forth the ice and [the] frost of heaven who? does he give birth to it.
| وَمِنْ أَيِّ أَحْشَاءٍ خَرَجَ الْجَمَدُ، وَمَنْ وَلَدَ صَقِيعَ السَّمَاءِ؟ | ٢٩ |
30 Like stone waters they become hard and [the] surface of [the] deep they freeze.
| تَتَجَلَّدُ الْمِيَاهُ كَحِجَارَةٍ وَيَتَجَمَّدُ وَجْهُ الْغَمْرِ. | ٣٠ |
31 ¿ Will you bind on [the] bonds of Pleiades or? [the] chains of Orion will you loosen.
| هَلْ تَرْبِطُ سَلاسِلَ الثُّرَيَّا، أَمْ تَفُكُّ عُقَدَ الْجَوْزَاءِ؟ | ٣١ |
32 ¿ Will you lead out [the] constellations at appropriate time its and [the] Bear with young ones its will you guide? them.
| هَلْ تَهْدِي كَوَاكِبَ الْمَنَازِلِ فِي فُصُولِهَا، أَمْ تَهْدِي النَّعْشَ مَعَ بِنَاتِهِ؟ | ٣٢ |
33 ¿ Do you know [the] statutes of [the] heavens or? do you appoint rule its over the earth.
| هَلْ تَعْرِفُ أَحْكَامَ السَّمَاوَاتِ، أَمْ أَسَّسْتَ سُلْطَتَهَا عَلَى الأَرْضِ؟ | ٣٣ |
34 ¿ Will you lift up to the cloud[s] voice your and an abundance of water will you cover? yourself.
| هَلْ تَرْفَعُ صَوْتَكَ آمِراً الْغَمَامَ فَيَغْمُرَكَ فَيْضُ الْمِيَاهِ؟ | ٣٤ |
35 ¿ Will you send forth lightning so they may go and they may say to you here [are] we.
| هَلْ فِي وُسْعِكَ أَنْ تُطْلِقَ الْبُرُوقَ فَتَمْضِيَ وَتَقُولَ لَكَ: هَا نَحْنُ طَوْعَ أَمْرِكَ؟ | ٣٥ |
36 Who? has he put in the inner parts wisdom or who? has he given to the heart understanding.
| مَنْ أَضْفَى عَلَى الْغُيُومِ حِكْمَةً وَأَنْعَمَ عَلَى الضَّبَابِ بِالْفَهْمِ؟ | ٣٦ |
37 Who? will he count [the] clouds by wisdom and [the] waterskins of heaven who? will he make to lie down.
| مَنْ لَهُ الْحِكْمَةُ لِيُحْصِيَ النُّجُومَ، وَمَنْ يَصُبُّ الْمَاءَ مِنْ مَيَازِيبِ السَّمَاءِ، | ٣٧ |
38 When flows [the] dust into lump and [the] clods they are joined together.
| حِينَ يَتَلَبَّدُ التُّرَابُ وَتَتَمَاسَكُ كُتَلُ الطِّينِ؟ | ٣٨ |
39 ¿ Will you hunt for a lion prey and [the] life of young lions will you fill?
| هَلْ تَصْطَادُ الْفَرِيسَةَ لِلَّبُؤَةِ، أَمْ تُشْبِعُ جُوعَ الأَشْبَالِ، | ٣٩ |
40 If they will crouch in dens they will remain in thicket for lying-in-wait.
| حِينَ تَتَرَبَّصُ فِي الْعَرَائِنِ وَتَكْمُنُ فِي أَوْجَارِهَا؟ | ٤٠ |
41 Who? does he prepare for the raven food-supply its if (young ones its *Q(K)*) to God they will cry for help they will wander about for not food.
| مَنْ يُزَوِّدُ الْغُرَابَ بِصَيْدِهِ إِذْ تَنْعَبُ فِرَاخُهُ مُسْتَغِيثَةً بِاللهِ، وَتَهِيمُ لاِفْتِقَارِهَا إِلَى الْقُوتِ؟ | ٤١ |
