Job 34
1 And he answered Elihu and he said.
পরে ইলীহূ বললেন:
2 Hear O wise [men] words my and O [those who] know give ear to me.
“হে জ্ঞানীগুণীরা, আমার কথা শুনুন; হে পণ্ডিত ব্যক্তিরা, আমার কথায় কর্ণপাত করুন।
3 For [the] ear words it tests and [the] palate it tastes to eat.
জিভ যেভাবে খাদ্যের স্বাদ যাচাই করে কানও সেভাবে কথার পরীক্ষা করে।
4 Justice let us choose for ourselves let us recognize between ourselves what? [is] good.
আসুন, যা ন্যায্য আমরা তা আমাদের জন্য ঠিক করে নিই; আসুন, যা ভালো আমরা তা একসাথে শিখে নিই।
5 For he has said Job I am righteous and God he has taken away right my.
“ইয়োব বলছেন, ‘আমি নির্দোষ, কিন্তু ঈশ্বর আমার প্রতি ন্যায়বিচার করেননি।
6 On right my will I lie? [is] incurable arrow my not transgression.
আমি যদিও ন্যায়বান, তাও আমাকে মিথ্যাবাদীরূপে গণ্য করা হয়েছে; আমি যদিও নিরপরাধ, তাও তাঁর তির এক দুরারোগ্য আঘাত দিয়েছে।’
7 Who? [is] a man like Job he drinks mockery like water.
ইয়োবের মতো আর কেউ কি আছেন, যিনি জলের মতো অবজ্ঞা পান করেন?
8 And he travels for company with doers of evil and to walk with people of wickedness.
তিনি দুর্বৃত্তদের সঙ্গ দেন; তিনি দুর্জনদের সহযোগী হন।
9 For he has said not it profits a man when is pleased he with God.
কারণ তিনি বলেছেন, ‘ঈশ্বরকে সন্তুষ্ট করার চেষ্টা করে কোনও লাভ নেই।’
10 Therefore - O people of heart listen to me far be it to God from wickedness and [the] Almighty from unrighteousness.
“তাই হে বিচারবুদ্ধিসম্পন্ন মানুষেরা, আমার কথা শুনুন। এ হতেই পারে না যে ঈশ্বর অমঙ্গল করবেন, সর্বশক্তিমান অন্যায় করবেন।
11 For [the] work of a person he will repay to him and according to [the] way of a person he will make find him.
মানুষের কর্মের ফলই তিনি প্রত্যেককে দেন; তাদের আচরণ অনুসারে তাদের যা প্রাপ্য তিনি তাদের তাই দেন।
12 Also truly God not he acts wickedly and [the] Almighty not he perverts justice.
চিন্তাও করা যায় না যে ঈশ্বর অন্যায় করবেন, সর্বশক্তিমান ন্যায়বিচার বিকৃত করবেন।
13 Who? did he assign on him [the] earth towards and who? did he put [the] world all of it.
পৃথিবীর উপরে কে তাঁকে নিযুক্ত করেছে? সমগ্র জগতের দায়িত্ব কে তাঁর হাতে সঁপে দিয়েছে?
14 If he will set to it heart his spirit his and breath his to himself he will gather.
যদি তাঁর ইচ্ছা হত এবং তিনি তাঁর আত্মা ও শ্বাসবায়ু ফিরিয়ে নিতেন,
15 It will expire all flesh together and humankind to dust it will return.
তবে সমগ্র মানবজাতি একসাথে ধ্বংস হয়ে যেত ও মানবসমাজ ধুলোতে ফিরে যেত।
16 And if understanding hear! this give ear! to [the] sound of words my.
“আপনার যদি বোধশক্তি থাকে, তবে শুনুন; আমি যা বলছি তাতে কর্ণপাত করুন।
17 ¿ Also [one who] hates justice will he govern and or? [the] righteous [one] [the] mighty [one] will you condemn as guilty.
যে ন্যায়বিচার ঘৃণা করে সে কি শাসন করবে? আপনি কি ন্যায়পরায়ণ ও পরাক্রমী ব্যক্তিকে দোষী সাব্যস্ত করবেন?
18 ¿ To say to a king worthless person wicked [one] to noble [people].
তিনিই কি সেই ব্যক্তি নন, যিনি রাজাদের বলেন, ‘তোমরা অপদার্থ,’ ও অভিজাত লোকজনকে বলেন, ‘তোমরা দুষ্ট,’
19 Who not he lifts up - [the] faces of princes and not he regards a rich person before a poor [person] for [are the] work of hands his all of them.
যিনি রাজপুরুষদের প্রতি পক্ষপাতিত্ব দেখান না এবং দরিদ্রদের তুলনায় ধনীদের বেশি প্রশ্রয় দেন না, কারণ তারা সবাই তাঁরই হাতের কর্ম?
20 A moment - they die and [the] middle of [the] night they are shaken a people so they may pass away and people may remove [the] mighty not by a hand.
এক পলকে, মাঝরাতেই তাদের মৃত্যু হয়; মানুষজন প্রকম্পিত হয় ও তারা মারা যায়; পরাক্রমীরা মানুষের হস্তক্ষেপ ছাড়াই অপসারিত হয়।
21 For eyes his [are] on [the] ways of everyone and all steps his he sees.
“নশ্বর মানুষের পথের প্রতি তাঁর দৃষ্টি আছে; তিনি তাদের প্রত্যেকটি পদক্ষেপ লক্ষ্য করেন।
22 There not [is] darkness and there not [is] deep darkness to hide themselves there [those who] do wickedness.
এমন কোনও গভীর অন্ধকার, গাঢ় ছায়া নেই, যেখানে দুর্বৃত্তেরা গিয়ে লুকাতে পারে।
23 For not on a person he will appoint again to go to God in judgment.
ঈশ্বরকে আর মানুষের পরীক্ষা করতে হবে না, যেন বিচারিত হওয়ার জন্য তাদের তাঁর সামনে আসতে হয়।
24 He breaks mighty [ones] not inquiry and he appointed others in place of them.
বিনা তদন্তে তিনি পরাক্রমীদের চূর্ণবিচূর্ণ করেন ও তাদের স্থানে তিনি অন্যদের নিযুক্ত করেন।
25 Therefore he is acquainted with deeds their and he overthrows [them] night so they may be crushed.
কারণ তিনি তাদের কাজকর্ম লক্ষ্য করেন, রাতারাতি তিনি তাদের উৎখাত করেন ও তারা চূর্ণ হয়।
26 In place of wicked [people] he slaps them in a place of [those who] see.
তাদের দুষ্টতার জন্য তিনি এমন এক স্থানে তাদের দণ্ড দেন যেখানে সবাই তাদের দেখতে পায়,
27 That there-fore they turned aside from after him and all ways his not they considered.
কারণ তারা তাঁর অনুগমন করা থেকে ফিরে গিয়েছে ও তাঁর কোনো পথের প্রতি তাদের মনে কোনো কদর নেই।
28 To cause to come to him [the] outcry of [the] poor and [the] outcry of afflicted [people] he heard.
তাদের কারণে দরিদ্রদের আর্তনাদ তাঁর কাছে পৌঁছেছে, ও অভাবগ্রস্তদের কান্না তিনি শুনে ফেলেছেন।
29 And he he will keep quiet - and who? will he condemn [him] as guilty and he may hide face and who? will he observe him and over a nation and over a person alike.
কিন্তু তিনি যদি নীরব থাকেন, কে তাঁকে দোষী সাব্যস্ত করবে? তিনি যদি তাঁর মুখ ঢেকে রাখেন, কে তাঁকে দেখতে পাবে? তবুও তিনি ব্যক্তিবিশেষ ও জাতি উভয়ের উপরেই বিরাজমান,
30 From reigning a person godless from snares of a people.
যেন অধার্মিকেরা শাসন করতে না পারে, ও প্রজাদের জন্য ফাঁদ বিছাতে না পারে।
31 For to God ¿ has anyone said I have borne not I will act corruptly.
“ধরুন কেউ ঈশ্বরকে বলছে, ‘আমি দোষী কিন্তু আমি আর অপরাধ করব না।
32 Apart from [that which] I see O you instruct me if unrighteousness I have done not I will repeat.
আমি যা দেখতে পাই না তা আমাকে শিক্ষা দাও; আমি যদি অন্যায় করে থাকি, তবে আমি আর তা করব না।’
33 ¿ From with you will he repay it if you have rejected for you you will choose and not I and what? do you know speak.
যখন আপনি অনুতাপ করতে রাজি হচ্ছেন না তখন ঈশ্বর কি আপনার শর্তে আপনাকে পুরস্কৃত করবেন? আমাকে নয়, আপনাকেই সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে হবে; তাই বলুন আপনি কী জানেন।
34 People of heart they will say to me and a man wise [who] listens to me.
“বিচারবুদ্ধিসম্পন্ন মানুষেরা ঘোষণা করবেন, যারা আমার কথা শুনেছেন সেই জ্ঞানবানেরা আমায় বলবেন,
35 Job not with knowledge he speaks and words his not [are] with insight.
‘ইয়োব অজ্ঞের মতো কথা বলছেন; তাঁর কথায় অন্তর্দৃষ্টির অভাব আছে।’
36 Would that! he will be tested Job until perpetuity on answers among people of wickedness.
ওহো, একজন দুষ্টলোকের মতো উত্তর দেওয়ার জন্য যদি ইয়োবের চরম পরীক্ষা নেওয়া যেত!
37 For he adds to sin his transgression between us he claps and he multiplies words his to God.
তাঁর পাপে তিনি বিদ্রোহও যোগ করেছেন; ঘৃণাপূর্ণভাবে তিনি আমাদের মধ্যে হাততালি দিয়েছেন ও ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধে অনেক কথা বলেছেন।”
