Job 33
1 And but hear please O Job words my and all words my give ear to!
Tena ra, whakarongo, e Hopa, ki aku korero, kia whai taringa ki aku kupu katoa.
2 Here! please I open mouth my it speaks tongue my on palate my.
Nana, kua puaki nei toku mangai, kei te korero toku arero i roto i toku mangai.
3 [are] [the] uprightness of Heart my words my and [the] knowledge of lips my purified they speak.
Ma aku kupu e whakapuaki te tika o toku ngakau; ka korero pono oku ngutu i ta ratou e matau ana.
4 [the] spirit of God it has made me and [the] breath of [the] Almighty it gives life me.
He mea hanga ahau na te Wairua o te Atua, a na te manawa o te Kaha Rawa ahau i whai ora ai.
5 If you will be able respond to me arrange! before me take your stand!
Ki te taea e koe, whakahokia mai e koe he kupu ki ahau; whakatikaia au korero ki toku aroaro, e tu ki runga.
6 Here! I [am] like mouth your to God from clay I was nipped off also I.
Nana, ko toku anga ki te Atua he pena hoki i tau; he mea hanga nei ano hoki ahau ki te paru.
7 Here! dread of me not it will terrify you and pressure my on you not it will be heavy.
Nana, e kore te wehi ki ahau e whakawehi i a koe; e kore ano hoki toku ringa e taimaha iho ki a koe.
8 Surely you have spoken in ears my and [the] sound of words I heard.

9 [am] pure I not transgression [am] innocent I and not iniquity [belongs] to me.

11 He puts in the stock[s] feet my he watches all paths my.

12 Here! this not you are in [the] right I will answer you for he is great God more than a human.
Nana, maku e whawhati tau kupu, ehara tenei mea au i te mea tika; nui atu hoki te Atua i te tangata.
13 Why? against him have you contended that all words his not he answers.

14 For on one [occasion] he speaks God and on two [occasions] not anyone perceives it.

15 In a dream - a vision of [the] night when falls deep sleep on people in slumber on a bed.

16 Then he will uncover [the] ear of people and with discipline their he will seal.

17 To turn aside a person a deed and pride from a man he will cover.

18 He will keep back life his from [the] pit and life his from passing away by missile.
E puritia ana e ia tona wairua kei tae ki te rua, tona ora kei riro i te hoari.
19 And he is chastened with pain on bed his (and [the] multitude of *Q(K)*) bones his [is] constant.
E whiua ana hoki ia ki te mamae i runga i tona moenga, ki te ngau tonu hoki o ona wheua;
20 And it loathes it life his bread and self his food of desire.
A whakarihariha ana tona ora ki te taro, tona wairua ki te kai whakaminamina.
21 It wastes away flesh his from sight (and they are laid bare *Q(K)*) bones his [which] not they were seen.
E honia ana ona kiko, a kore noa e kitea; a purero mai ana ona wheua kihai nei i kitea i mua.
22 And it drew near to the pit self his and life his to [those who] bring death.
Heoi e whakatata ana tona wairua ki te rua, tona ora ki nga kaiwhakamate.
23 If there on him - [is] an angel a mediator one of a thousand to tell to anyone uprightness his.
Ki te mea he karere tera kei a ia, he kaiwhakaatu tikanga tetahi i roto i te mano, hei whakaatu i tona tika ki te tangata:
24 And he showed favor to him and he said deliver him from going down [the] pit I have found a ransom.
Na ka tohu tera i a ia, a ka mea, Whakaorangia ia kei heke ki te rua, kua kitea hoki e ahau he utu.
25 It grows fresh flesh his more than youth he returns to [the] days of youth his.
Ko tona kiri ka ngawari atu i to te tamaiti; ka hoki iho ia ki nga ra o tona tamarikitanga:
26 He prays to God - and he accepted him and he saw face his with a shout of joy and he restored to a person righteousness his.
Ka inoi ia ki te Atua, a ka manako tera ki a ia; heoi ka kite ia i tona mata i runga i te koa: a ka utua e ia te tika o te tangata.
27 He watches - over people and he said I have sinned and upright[ness] I have perverted and not it was equal to me.
E waiata ana ia i te aroaro o nga tangata, e mea ana, Kua hara ahau, whakaparoritia ake e ahau te tika, a kahore he pai ki ahau:
28 He has ransomed (self his *Q(K)*) from passing on in the pit (and life his *Q(K)*) on the light it will look.
Kua whakaorangia e ia toku wairua kei riro ki te rua, a e kite toku wairua i te marama.
29 Here! all these [things] he does God two times three [times] with a man.
Nana, e meatia ana enei mea katoa e te Atua, e tuaruatia ana, ae, e tuatorutia ana, ki te tangata,
30 To bring back self his from [the] pit to be lighted up by [the] light of life.
Hei whakahoki mai i tona wairua i roto i te rua, kia whakamaramatia ai ki te marama o te ora.
31 Pay attention O Job listen to me keep quiet and I I will speak.
Kia whai whakaaro mai, e Hopa, whakarongo mai ki ahau: kati tau, a ka korero ahau.
32 If there [are] words respond to me speak for I desire to justify you.
Ki te mea he kupu tau, utua mai taku: korero, ko taku hoki i pai ai kia whakatikaia tau.
33 If not you listen to me keep quiet and I will teach you wisdom.
Ki te kahore, whakarongo ki ahau: noho puku koe, a maku koe e whakaako ki te whakaaro nui.
