< Job 30 >
1 And now - they have laughed on me [people] young more than me to days whom I rejected fathers their to put with [the] dogs of flock my.
“No rĩu-rĩ, andũ ethĩ kũngĩra nĩmaanyũrũragia, arĩa o na itangĩendire gũturanĩra maithe mao na ngui ciakwa cia rũũru.
2 Also [the] strength of hands their why? to me on them it had perished vigor.
Hinya wa moko mao ũngĩangʼunire nakĩ, kuona atĩ hinya wao nĩwamehereire?
3 In poverty and in hunger barren the [ones who] gnaw a dry region yesterday of ruin and desolation.
Nĩmathĩnĩkĩte nĩ ũndũ wa wagi na ngʼaragu, ũtukũ-rĩ, moorũũraga bũrũri mũngʼaru, bũrũri mwanangĩku ũkirĩte ihooru.
4 Those [who] pluck off mallow on bush[es] and [the] root of broom plants [for] food their.
Maahaaraga nyeni cia mahuti ma cumbĩ kuuma ihinga-inĩ, na irio ciao ciarĩ mĩri ya mũtĩ wa kĩhaato.
5 From [the] community they are driven away people shout on them like thief.
Nĩmaingatirwo kuuma kũrĩ mũingĩ, makiugĩrĩrio ta maarĩ aici.
6 On [the] slope of wadis to dwell holes of [the] ground and rocks.
Nĩmahatĩrĩirio maikarage mĩkuru-inĩ ya tũrũũĩ tũhũu, kũu ndwaro-inĩ cia mahiga na marima-inĩ marĩa marĩ thĩ.
7 Between bushes they bray under nettle[s] they are joined together.
Maanagia ta nyamũ kũu ihinga-inĩ, makahatĩkanagĩra kũu mahuti-inĩ.
8 Sons of a fool also sons of not a name they have been scourged from the land.
Rũciaro rũtarĩ kĩene na rũtarĩ rĩĩtwa, nĩ rwarutũrũrirwo ruume kũu bũrũri-inĩ.
9 And now taunt song their I have become and I have become for them a word.
“Na rĩu ariũ ao maraanyũrũria na rwĩmbo; ngagĩtuĩka wa kuunagwo thimo nĩo.
10 They abhor me they are distant from me and from face my not they have withheld spittle.
Nĩmathũire na magaikaraga haraihu na niĩ; matiĩtigagĩra kũnduĩra mata ũthiũ.
11 For (string my *Q(K)*) he has loosened and he has afflicted me and [the] halter from before me they have sent away.
Nĩ ũndũ rĩu Ngai nĩaregeretie ũta wakwa, na akandeehera mathĩĩna-rĩ, matirĩ ũndũ merigagĩrĩria gwĩka marĩ harĩa ndĩ.
12 On [the] right [side] a brood they arise feet my they have sent away and they have piled up on me [the] paths of disaster their.
Mwena wakwa wa ũrĩo kũrĩ rũrĩrĩ rũratharĩkĩra; maigagĩra magũrũ makwa mĩtego, na magaaka ihumbu ciao cia gũũtharĩkĩra.
13 They have torn down pathway my to destruction my they benefit not a helper [belongs] to them.
Maharaganagia njĩra yakwa; mahotaga kũnyũnũha o na gũtarĩ na mũndũ ũramateithia.
14 Like a breach wide they come under devastation they have rolled themselves.
Mokĩte ta matoonyeire mwanya-inĩ mwariĩ; mokĩire gatagatĩ ga kũu kwanangĩku, makaamomokera.
15 It has been turned on me sudden terror it pursues like the wind dignity my and like a cloud it has passed away prosperity my.
Imakania nĩcihootete; gĩtĩĩo gĩakwa kĩũmbũrĩtwo ta kĩhurutĩtwo nĩ rũhuho, naguo ũgitĩri wakwa ũkabuĩria ta itu.
16 And now on me it pours itself out life my they seize me days of affliction.
“Na rĩu muoyo wakwa nĩũrathirĩrĩkĩra; matukũ ma thĩĩna nĩmanyiitĩte.
17 Night bones my he has pierced from on me and gnawing [pains] my not they rest!
Ũtukũ ũtheecangaga mahĩndĩ makwa; ruo rwa gũthegenya rũtindigithagĩria.
18 With greatness of strength it disguises itself clothing my like [the] mouth of tunic my he girds about me.
Ngai angũnjakũnjaga ta nguo na ũndũ wa ũhoti wake mũnene; aanyiitaga ta kanjũ yakwa ngingo-inĩ.
19 He has thrown me to the mud and I have become like like dust and ash[es].
Anjikĩtie ndoro-inĩ, ngatuĩka ta rũkũngũ na ta mũhu.
20 I cry for help to you and not you answer me I have stood and you have considered carefully me.
“Nĩwe ndĩrakaĩra, o Wee Ngai, no ndũranjĩtĩka; ndĩrarũgama, no wee no kũndora ũrandora.
21 You change yourself into [one] cruel to me with [the] might of hand your you are hostile to me.
Wee nĩũngarũrũkĩte ũtarĩ na tha; ũtharĩkĩire na hinya wa guoko gwaku.
22 You lift up me to [the] wind you make ride me and you dissolve me (success. *Q(K)*)
Nĩũũhurĩtie, ũkaandindĩka mbere ya rũhuho; ũũnyugutanĩtie kĩhuhũkanio-inĩ.
23 For I know death you will bring me and a house of appointed meeting for every living [thing].
Nĩnjũũĩ nĩũkanginyia o gĩkuũ-inĩ, ũndware kũrĩa gwathĩrĩirwo arĩa othe marĩ muoyo.
24 Surely not on a heap of ruins anyone stretches out a hand or in disaster his to them a cry for help.
“Ti-itherũ gũtirĩ mũndũ ũũkagĩrĩra mũndũ ũthuthĩkĩte ngoro, hĩndĩ ĩrĩa egũkaya ateithio arĩ mĩnyamaro-inĩ.
25 Not did I weep for [the] hard of day was it grieved? self my for the needy [person].
Niĩ-rĩ, githĩ ndianarĩrio nĩ arĩa marĩ na thĩĩna? Githĩ ngoro yakwa ndĩanaiguĩra arĩa athĩĩni kĩeha?
26 If good I waited for and it came evil and I waited for light and it came darkness.
No rĩrĩ, rĩrĩa ndeerĩgagĩrĩra wega, ũũru ũgĩũka; rĩrĩa ndaacaragia ũtheri-rĩ, hĩndĩ ĩyo nduma ĩgĩũka.
27 Inward parts my they have been made to boil and not they have been still they have confronted me days of affliction.
Nda yakwa ndĩtigaga kũruruma; matukũ ma thĩĩna nĩmanginyĩire.
28 Being dark I have gone about with not sun I have stood in the assembly I cry out for help.
Thiiaga njirĩte biũ, no ti ũndũ wa kũhĩa nĩ riũa; ngarũgama kĩũngano-inĩ ngakaya ndeithio.
29 A brother I have become of jackals and a companion of daughters of an ostrich.
Nduĩkĩte mũrũ wa nyina na mbwe, ngatuĩka mũthiritũ wa ndundu.
30 Skin my it has become black from on me and bone my it has burned from heat.
Gĩkonde gĩakwa nĩkĩgarũrũkĩte, gĩgathita na gĩkoonũka; mwĩrĩ wakwa ũhiũhĩte nĩ ũrugarĩ.
31 And it has become mourning harp my and flute my [the] sound of weepers.
Kĩnanda gĩakwa kĩa mũgeeto kĩrutaga o mũgambo wa gũcakaya, naguo mũtũrirũ wakwa ũkaruta o mũgambo wa kĩrĩro.
