Job 28
1 For there for silver [is] a mine and a place for gold [which] people refine.
௧வெள்ளிக்கு விளையும் இடம் உண்டு, பொன்னுக்குப் புடமிடும் இடமுமுண்டு.
2 Iron from [the] dust it is taken and stone someone pours out copper.
௨இரும்பு மண்ணிலிருந்து எடுக்கப்படும்; செம்பு கற்களில் உருக்கி எடுக்கப்படும்.
3 An end - someone puts to the darkness and to every outermost part he [is] searching for [the] stone of gloom and deep darkness.
௩மனிதன் அந்தகாரத்திலும் மரண இருளிலும் இருக்கிற கற்களைக் கடைசிவரை ஆராய்ந்து தேடி, இருளுக்கும் அங்கே முடிவுண்டாக்குகிறான்.
4 He breaks open a shaft - away from with a sojourner forgotten from foot they hang down away from humankind they swing.
௪கடக்கமுடியாததும் நிலையாததுமான ஆறு எழும்பினாலும், உழைப்பாளியானவன் அதை மனிதரால் வற்றிப்போகவைத்துச் செல்லுகிறான்.
5 [the] earth From it it comes forth food and under it it is turned over like fire.
௫பூமியின்மேல் ஆகாரம் விளையும்; அதின் கீழிடங்களிலிருக்கிறவைகளோ, நெருப்பால் மாறினது போலிருக்கும்.
6 [are] a place of Sapphire stones its and dust of gold [belong] to it.
௬அதின் கற்களில் இந்திரநீலம் விளையும்; அதின் பொடியில் பொன்பொடிகளும் உண்டாயிருக்கும்.
7 [the] path Not it knows it a bird of prey and not it catches sight of it [the] eye of a hawk.
௭ஒரு வழியுண்டு, அது ஒரு பறவைக்கும் தெரியாது; கழுகின் கண்ணும் அதைக் கண்டதில்லை;
8 Not they tread it [the] sons of pride not it passes by on it a lion.
௮கொடிய மிருகங்களின் கால்கள் அதில் படவில்லை; சிங்கம் அதைக் கடந்ததில்லை.
9 On the flint he stretches out hand his he overturns from [the] root mountains.
௯அவன் தன் கைகளைக் கற்பாறையின்மேல் நீட்டி, மலைகளை வேருடன் புரட்டுகிறான்.
10 In the rocks shafts he splits open and every precious thing it sees eye his.
௧0கன்மலைகளுக்குள்ளும் நீர்க்கால்களை வெட்டுகிறான்; அவனுடைய கண் விலையுயர்ந்த எல்லாவற்றையும் காணும்.
11 From weeping rivers he restrains and secret her he brings out light.
௧௧ஒரு துளியும் கசியாதபடி ஆறுகளை அடைக்கிறான்; மறைவிடத்திலிருக்கிறதை வெளிச்சத்திலே கொண்டுவருகிறான்.
12 And wisdom from where? will it be found and where? this [is the] place of understanding.
௧௨ஆனாலும் ஞானம் கண்டெடுக்கப்படுவது எங்கே? புத்தி விளைகிற இடம் எது?
13 Not he knows humankind valuation its and not it is found in [the] land of the living [ones].
௧௩அதின் விலை மனிதனுக்குத் தெரியாது; அது மக்கள் வாழ்கிற தேசத்திலே கிடைக்கிறதில்லை.
14 [the] deep It says not [is] in me it and [the] sea it says not [it] [is] with me.
௧௪ஆழமானது: அது என்னிடத்தில் இல்லையென்கிறது; சமுத்திரமானதும், அது என்னிடத்தில் இல்லையென்கிறது.
15 Not it will be given fine gold for it and not it will be weighed out silver price its.
௧௫அதற்கு ஈடாகத் தங்கத்தைக் கொடுக்கவும், அதற்குக் கிரயமாக வெள்ளியை நிறுக்கவும் முடியாது.
16 Not it will be paid in [the] gold of Ophir in onyx precious and sapphire.
௧௬ஓப்பீரின் தங்கமும், விலையேறப்பெற்ற கோமேதகமும், இந்திரநீலக்கல்லும் அதற்கு ஈடல்ல.
17 Not it will be comparable to it gold and glass and [is] exchange its a vessel of pure gold.
௧௭பொன்னும் பளிங்கும் அதற்கு ஒப்பல்ல; பசும்பொன் ஆபரணங்களுக்கு அதை மாற்றமுடியாது.
18 Corals and crystal not it is remembered and [the] price of wisdom [is] more than pearls.
௧௮பவளத்தையும் ஸ்படிகத்தையும் அத்துடன் ஒப்பிட்டுப் பேசக்கூடாது; முத்துகளைவிட ஞானத்தின் விலை உயர்ந்தது.
19 Not it will be comparable to it topaz of Cush in gold pure not it will be paid.
௧௯எத்தியோப்பியாவின் புஷ்பராகம் அதற்கு நிகரல்ல; பசும்பொன்னும் அதற்குச் சரியல்ல.
20 And wisdom from where? does it come and where? this [is the] place of understanding.
௨0இப்படியிருக்க, ஞானம் எங்கேயிருந்து வரும்; புத்தி தங்கும் இடம் எங்கே?
21 And it has been concealed from [the] eyes of every living [thing] and from [the] bird[s] of the heavens it has been hidden.
௨௧அது உயிருள்ள அனைவருடைய கண்களுக்கும் ஒளித்தும், ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளுக்கு மறைந்தும் இருக்கிறது.
22 Abaddon and death they say with ears our we have heard report its.
௨௨நாசமும், மரணமும், நாங்கள் எங்கள் காதுகளினாலேமாத்திரம் அதின் கீர்த்தியைக் கேட்டோம் என்கிறது.
23 God he understands way its and he he knows place its.
௨௩தேவனோ அதின் வழியை அறிவார், அது இருக்கும் இடம் அவருக்கே தெரியும்.
24 For he to [the] ends of the earth he looks under all the heavens he sees.
௨௪அவர் பூமியின் கடைசிமுனைகளைப் பார்த்து, வானங்களின்கீழ் இருக்கிறதையெல்லாம் காண்கிறார்.
25 To make for the wind weight and [the] waters he has measured with a measure.
௨௫அவர் காற்றுக்கு அதின் எடையை நியமித்து, தண்ணீருக்கு அதின் அளவைக் கணக்கிட்டு,
26 When made he for the rain a decree and a path for [the] storm of thunder claps.
௨௬மழைக்குத் திட்டத்தையும், இடிமுழக்கத்துடன் கூடிய மின்னலுக்கு வழியையும் ஏற்படுத்துகிறார்.
27 Then he saw it and he recounted it he established it and also he examined it.
௨௭அவர் அதைப் பார்த்துக் கணக்கிட்டார்; அதை ஆராய்ந்து ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி,
28 And he said - to humankind here! [the] fear of [the] Lord that [is] wisdom and to turn from evil [is] understanding.
௨௮மனிதனை நோக்கி: இதோ, ஆண்டவருக்குப் பயப்படுவதே ஞானம்; பொல்லாப்பை விட்டு விலகுவதே புத்தி என்றார்” என்று சொன்னான்.
