Job 25

1 And he answered Bildad the Shuhite and he said.

Bildad de Schuach prit la parole et dit:

2 Dominion and dread [are] with him [he] makes peace in heights his.

La puissance et la terreur appartiennent à Dieu; Il fait régner la paix dans ses hautes régions.

Ses armées ne sont-elles pas innombrables? Sur qui sa lumière ne se lève-t-elle pas?

4 And what? will he be righteous a person with God and what? will he be pure [one] born of a woman.

Comment l’homme serait-il juste devant Dieu? Comment celui qui est né de la femme serait-il pur?

5 There! up to [the] moon and not it is clear and [the] stars not they are pure in view his.

Voici, la lune même n’est pas brillante, Et les étoiles ne sont pas pures à ses yeux;

6 Indeed? for a person a maggot and a child of humankind a worm.

Combien moins l’homme, qui n’est qu’un ver, Le fils de l’homme, qui n’est qu’un vermisseau!
