Job 21
1 And he answered Job and he said.
Därefter tog Job till orda och sade:
2 Listen completely [to] speech my and let it be this consolations your.
Hören åtminstone på mina ord; låten det vara den tröst som I given mig.
3 Bear with me and I I will speak and after have spoken I you will mock.
Haven fördrag med mig, så att jag får tala; sedan jag har talat, må du bespotta.
4 ¿ I to humankind [is] complaint my and if why? not will it be short spirit my.
Är då min klagan, såsom när människor eljest klaga? Eller huru skulle jag kunna vara annat än otålig?
5 Turn to me and be appalled and put a hand over a mouth.
Akten på mig, så skolen I häpna och nödgas lägga handen på munnen.
6 And if I remember [this] and I am disturbed and it takes hold of flesh my shuddering.
Ja, när jag tänker därpå, då förskräckes jag själv, och förfäran griper mitt kött.
7 Why? wicked [people] do they live they grow old also do they become strong? strength.
Varför få de ogudaktiga leva, ja, med åldern växa till i rikedom?
8 Offspring their [is] established before them with them and descendants their to eyes their.
De se sina barn leva kvar hos sig, och sin avkomma hava de inför sina ögon.
9 Houses their [are] safety from fear and not [the] rod of God [is] on them.
Deras hus stå trygga, ej hemsökta av förskräckelse; Gud låter sitt ris icke komma vid dem.
10 Bull his it impregnates and not it fails it calves cow his and not it miscarries.
När deras boskap parar sig, är det icke förgäves; lätt kalva deras kor, och icke i otid.
11 They send forth like flock young boys their and children their they leap about!
Sina barn släppa de ut såsom en hjord, deras piltar hoppa lustigt omkring.
12 They lift according to tambourine and harp so they may rejoice to [the] sound of a flute.
De stämma upp med pukor och harpor, och glädja sig vid pipors ljud.
De förnöta sina dagar i lust, och ned till dödsriket fara de i frid. (Sheol h7585)
14 And they have said to God depart from us and knowledge of ways your not we desire.
Och de sade dock till Gud: »Vik ifrån oss, dina vägar vilja vi icke veta av.
15 What? [is the] Almighty that we will serve him and what? will we gain that we will entreat him.
Vad är den Allsmäktige, att vi skulle tjäna honom? och vad skulle det hjälpa oss att åkalla honom?»
16 There! not [is] in own hand their prosperity their [the] counsel of wicked [people] it is far from me.
Det är sant, i deras egen hand står ej deras lycka, och de ogudaktigas rådslag vare fjärran ifrån mig!
17 How often? - [the] lamp of wicked [people] is it extinguished and it may come? on them calamity their pain does he apportion? in anger his.
Men huru ofta utslocknar väl de ogudaktigas lampa, huru ofta händer det att ofärd kommer över dem, och att han tillskiftar dem lotter i vrede?
18 Are they? like straw before a wind and like chaff [which] it has stolen it a storm-wind.
De borde ju bliva såsom halm för vinden, lika agnar som stormen rycker bort.
19 God he stores up for children his wickedness his let him repay to him so he may know.
»Gud spar åt hans barn att lida för hans ondska.» Ja, men honom själv borde han vedergälla, så att han finge känna det.
20 Let them see (own eyes his *Q(K)*) destruction his and from [the] rage of [the] Almighty let him drink.
Med egna ögon borde han se sitt fall, och av den Allsmäktiges vrede borde han få dricka.
21 For what? [is] pleasure his in household his after him and [the] number of months his they have been cut off.
Ty vad frågar han efter sitt hus, när han själv är borta, när hans månaders antal har nått sin ände?
22 ¿ To God will anyone teach knowledge and he exalted [ones] he judges.
»Skall man då lära Gud förstånd, honom som dömer över de högsta?»
23 This [one] he will die with limb[s] of completeness his all of him [is] at ease and at ease.
Ja, den ene får dö i sin välmaktstid, där han sitter i allsköns frid och ro;
24 Pails his they are full milk and [the] marrow of bones his it is watered.
hans stävor hava fått stå fulla med mjölk, och märgen i hans ben har bevarat sin saft.
25 And this [one] he will die with a soul bitter and not he has eaten in the good.
Den andre måste dö med bedrövad själ, och aldrig fick han njuta av någon lycka.
26 Together on dust they will lie and a maggot it will cover over them.
Tillsammans ligga de så i stoftet, och förruttnelsens maskar övertäcka dem.
27 Here! I know thoughts your and [the] schemes on me you do violence.
Se, jag känner väl edra tankar och de funder med vilka I viljen nedslå mig.
28 For you say where? [is the] house of a noble [person] and where? [is the] tent of - [the] dwelling places of wicked [people].
I spörjen ju: »Vad har blivit av de höga herrarnas hus, av hyddorna när de ogudaktiga bodde?»
29 ¿ Not have you asked [those who] pass by of [the] road and signs their not do you recognize?
Haven I då ej frågat dem som vida foro, och akten I ej på deras vittnesbörd:
30 That to a day of calamity he is spared an evil [person] to a day of furi they are brought forth.
att den onde bliver sparad på ofärdens dag och bärgad undan på vredens dag?
31 Who? will he tell on face his way his and [that which] he he has done who? will he repay to him.
Vem vågar ens förehålla en sådan hans väg? Vem vedergäller honom, vad han än må göra?
32 And he to [the] grave he will be borne and over a tomb someone will keep watch.
Och när han har blivit bortförd till graven, så vakar man sedan där vid kullen.
33 They will be sweet to him [the] clods of [the] wadi and after him every person he will follow and before him there not [is] number.
Ljuvligt får han vilja under dalens torvor. I hans spår drager hela världen fram; före honom har och otaliga gått.
34 And how? will you comfort me vanity and answers your it remains unfaithfulness.
Huru kunnen I då bjuda mig så fåfänglig tröst? Av edra svar står allenast trolösheten kvar.
