Job 20
1 And he answered Zophar the Naamathite and he said.
Därefter tog Sofar från Naama till orda och sade:
2 Therefore disquieting thoughts my they make respond me and in order to agitate I in me.
På sådant tal giva mina tankar mig ett svar, än mer, då jag nu är så upprörd i mitt inre.
3 [the] correction of Insult my I have heard and a spirit from understanding my it answers me.
Smädlig tillrättavisning måste jag höra, och man svarar mig med munväder på förståndigt tal.
4 ¿ This do you know from antiquity from when put humankind on earth.
Vet du då icke att så har varit från evig tid, från den stund då människor sattes på jorden:
5 That [the] cry of joy of wicked [people] [is] from near and [the] gladness of [the] godless [is] until a moment.
att de ogudaktigas jubel varar helt kort och den gudlöses glädje ett ögonblick?
6 Though it will go up to the heavens loftiness his and head his to the cloud[s] it will reach.
Om än hans förhävelse stiger upp till himmelen och hans huvud når intill molnen,
7 Like own dung his to perpetuity he will perish [those who] saw him they will say where [is]? he.
Så förgås han dock för alltid och aktas lik sin träck; de som sågo honom måste fråga: »Var är han?»
8 Like a dream he will fly away and not people will find him and he may be chased away like a vision of [the] night.
Lik en dröm flyger han bort, och ingen finner honom mer; han förjagas såsom en syn om natten.
9 An eye it caught sight of him and not it will repeat and not again it will see him place his.
Det öga som såg honom ser honom icke åter, och hans plats får ej skåda honom mer.
10 Children his they will seek [the] favor of poor [people] and own hands his they will give back wealth his.
Hans barn måste gottgöra hans skulder till de arma, hans händer återbära hans vinning.
11 Bones his they were full (youthful vigor his *Q(K)*) and with him on [the] dust it will lie down.
Bäst ungdomskraften fyller hans ben, skall den ligga i stoftet med honom.
12 Though it is sweet in mouth his evil he hides it under tongue his.
Om än ondskan smakar ljuvligt i hans mun, så att han gömmer den under sin tunga,
13 He spares it and not he lets loose it and he withholds it in [the] midst of mouth his.
är rädd om den och ej vill gå miste därom, utan håller den förvarad inom sin gom,
14 Food his in inward parts his it is changed venom of cobras in inward part[s] his.
så förvandlas denna kost i hans inre, bliver huggormsetter i hans liv.
15 Wealth he swallows and he has vomited up it from belly his he drives out it God.
Den rikedom han har slukat måste han utspy; av Gud drives den ut ur hans buk.
16 [the] poison of Cobras he sucks it slays him [the] tongue of a viper.
Ja, huggormsgift kommer han att dricka, av etterormens tunga bliver han dräpt.
17 May not he look on streams rivers of torrents of honey and curd.
Ingen bäck får vederkvicka hans syn, ingen ström med flöden av honung och gräddmjölk.
18 [he is] restoring [the] gain And not he swallows [it] according to [the] wealth of trading his not he will rejoice.
Sitt fördärv måste han återbära, han får ej njuta därav; hans fröjd svarar ej mot den rikedom han har vunnit.
19 For he has crushed he has neglected poor [people] a house he has seized and not he had built it.
Ty mot de arma övade han våld och lät dem ligga där; han rev till sig hus som han ej kan hålla vid makt.
20 For - not he knows quiet in belly his among desired [things] his not he delivers.
Han visste ej av någon ro för sin buk, men han skall icke rädda sig med sina skatter.
21 There not [is] a survivor to devour he there-fore not it will endure prosperity his.
Intet slapp undan hans glupskhet, därför äger och hans lycka intet bestånd.
22 When is full sufficiency his it will be distress to him every hand of a sufferer it will come to him.
Mitt i hans överflöd påkommer honom nöd, och envar eländig vänder då mot honom sin hand.
23 May he be - [about] to fill belly his he will send on him [the] burning of anger his and he will send rain on him in bowel[s] his.
Ja, så måste ske, för att hans buk må bliva fylld; sin vredes glöd skall Gud sända över honom och låta den tränga såsom ett regn in i hans kropp.
24 He will flee from a weapon of iron it will cut through him a bow of bronze.
Om han flyr undan för vapen av järn, så genomborras han av kopparbågens skott.
25 He will draw [it] out and it came out from [the] back and lightning from gall-bladder his it will come on him terrors.
När han då drager i pilen och den kommer ut ur hans rygg, när den ljungande udden kommer fram ur hans galla, då falla dödsfasorna över honom.
26 All darkness [is] hidden for treasured [things] his it will consume him fire [which] not it has been fanned it will be evil a survivor in tent his.
Idel mörker är förvarat åt hans skatter; till mat gives honom eld som brinner utan pust, den förtär vad som är kvar i hans hydda.
27 They will reveal [the] heavens iniquity his and [the] earth [will] rise up to him.
Himmelen lägger hans missgärning i dagen, och jorden reser sig upp emot honom.
28 It will depart [the] produce of house his torrents on [the] day of anger his.
Vad som har samlats i hans hus far åter sin kos, likt förrinnande vatten, på vredens dag.
29 This - [is the] portion of a person wicked from God and [the] inheritance of decree his from God.
Sådan lott får en ogudaktig människa av Gud, sådan arvedel har av Gud blivit bestämd åt henne.
