Job 15
1 And he answered Eliphaz the Temanite and he said.
| ויען אליפז התימני ויאמר |
2 ¿ A wise [person] does he answer knowledge of wind so may he fill? east wind belly his.
| החכם יענה דעת-רוח וימלא קדים בטנו |
3 Does he argue? with a word [which] not it is of use and words [which] not anyone profits by them.
| הוכח בדבר לא-יסכון ומלים לא-יועיל בם |
4 Also you you annul fear so you may diminish meditation before God.
| אף-אתה תפר יראה ותגרע שיחה לפני-אל |
5 For it teaches iniquity your mouth your so you may choose [the] tongue of crafty [people].
| כי יאלף עונך פיך ותבחר לשון ערומים |
6 It condemns as guilty you own mouth your and not I and own lips your they testify against you.
| ירשיעך פיך ולא-אני ושפתיך יענו-בך |
7 ¿ First human being were you born and before [the] hills were you brought forth?
| הראישון אדם תולד ולפני גבעות חוללת |
8 ¿ In [the] council of God do you listen and you may restrain? to yourself wisdom.
| הבסוד אלוה תשמע ותגרע אליך חכמה |
9 What? do you know and not we know do you understand? and not [is] with us it.
| מה-ידעת ולא נדע תבין ולא-עמנו הוא |
10 Both [the] gray haired as well as [the] aged [are] among us [those] old more than father your days.
| גם-שב גם-ישיש בנו-- כביר מאביך ימים |
11 ¿ [too] little For you [are] [the] consolations of God and a word to gentleness with you.
| המעט ממך תנחומות אל ודבר לאט עמך |
12 Why? does it carry away you heart your and why? do they flash! eyes your.
| מה-יקחך לבך ומה-ירזמון עיניך |
13 That you will turn against God spirit your and you will bring out from mouth your words.
| כי-תשיב אל-אל רוחך והצאת מפיך מלין |
14 What? [is] a person that he will be pure and that he will be righteous [one] born of a woman.
| מה-אנוש כי-יזכה וכי-יצדק ילוד אשה |
15 There! (in holy [ones] his *Q(K)*) not he trusts and [the] heavens not they are pure in view his.
| הן בקדשו לא יאמין ושמים לא-זכו בעיניו |
16 Indeed? for [one who] is abhorrent and [one who] is corrupt a person [who] drinks like water unrighteousness.
| אף כי-נתעב ונאלח איש-שתה כמים עולה |
17 I will tell you listen to me and what I have seen and I will recount.
| אחוך שמע-לי וזה-חזיתי ואספרה |
18 [that] which Wise [people] they have told and not they have hidden from ancestors their.
| אשר-חכמים יגידו ולא כחדו מאבותם |
19 To them to alone them it was given the land and not he passed a stranger in midst their.
| להם לבדם נתנה הארץ ולא-עבר זר בתוכם |
20 All [the] days of a wicked [person] he [is] writhing in pain and [the] number of years [which] they have been stored up for ruthless [person].
| כל-ימי רשע הוא מתחולל ומספר שנים נצפנו לעריץ |
21 [the] sound of Dread [is] in ears his in peace a destroyer he will come to him.
| קול-פחדים באזניו בשלום שודד יבואנו |
22 Not he believes to return from darkness (and [is] watched *Q(k)*) he to [the] sword.
| לא-יאמין שוב מני-חשך וצפו (וצפוי) הוא אלי-חרב |
23 [is] wandering He for food where? he knows - that [has been] prepared in hand his a day of darkness.
| נדד הוא ללחם איה ידע כי-נכון בידו יום-חשך |
24 They terrify him anxiety and distress it overpowers him like a king - ready for battle.
| יבעתהו צר ומצוקה תתקפהו כמלך עתיד לכידור |
25 For he has stretched out against God hand his and to [the] Almighty he behaves proudly.
| כי-נטה אל-אל ידו ואל-שדי יתגבר |
26 He runs against him with a neck with [the] thickness of [the] bosses of shields his.
| ירוץ אליו בצואר בעבי גבי מגניו |
27 For he has covered face his with fat his and he has made fat on loins.
| כי-כסה פניו בחלבו ויעש פימה עלי-כסל |
28 And he dwelt - cities destroyed houses [which] not people will dwell themselves which they are destined for heaps of stones.
| וישכון ערים נכחדות--בתים לא-ישבו למו אשר התעתדו לגלים |
29 Not he will be rich and not it will endure wealth his and not it will stretch out to the land property their.
| לא-יעשר ולא-יקום חילו ולא-יטה לארץ מנלם |
30 Not he will depart - from darkness young shoot[s] his it will dry up a flame so he may depart by [the] breath of mouth his.
| לא-יסור מני-חשך--ינקתו תיבש שלהבת ויסור ברוח פיו |
31 May not he trust (in worthlessness *Q(K)*) he has been led astray for worthlessness it will be recompense his.
| אל-יאמן בשו נתעה כי-שוא תהיה תמורתו |
32 On not day his it will be completed and palm branch his not it will grow luxuriant.
| בלא-יומו תמלא וכפתו לא רעננה |
33 He will wrong like vine unripe grape[s] his and he will shed like olive tree blossom his.
| יחמס כגפן בסרו וישלך כזית נצתו |
34 For a company of [the] godless [is] barren and fire it consumes [the] tents of a bribe.
| כי-עדת חנף גלמוד ואש אכלה אהלי-שחד |
35 They conceive trouble and they give birth to wickedness and belly their it prepares deceit.
| הרה עמל וילד און ובטנם תכין מרמה |
