Job 15
1 And he answered Eliphaz the Temanite and he said.
Tedy odpovídaje Elifaz Temanský, řekl:
2 ¿ A wise [person] does he answer knowledge of wind so may he fill? east wind belly his.
Zdali moudrý vynášeti má umění povětrné, aneb naplňovati východním větrem břicho své,
3 Does he argue? with a word [which] not it is of use and words [which] not anyone profits by them.
Hádaje se slovy neprospěšnými, aneb řečmi neužitečnými?
4 Also you you annul fear so you may diminish meditation before God.
Anobrž vyprazdňuješ i bázeň Boží, a modliteb k Bohu činiti se zbraňuješ.
5 For it teaches iniquity your mouth your so you may choose [the] tongue of crafty [people].
Osvědčujíť zajisté nepravost tvou ústa tvá, ač jsi koli sobě zvolil jazyk chytrých.
6 It condemns as guilty you own mouth your and not I and own lips your they testify against you.
Potupují tě ústa tvá, a ne já, a rtové tvoji svědčí proti tobě.
7 ¿ First human being were you born and before [the] hills were you brought forth?
Zdaliž ty nejprv z lidí zplozen jsi, aneb prvé než pahrbkové sformován?
8 ¿ In [the] council of God do you listen and you may restrain? to yourself wisdom.
Zdaliž jsi tajemství Boží slyšel, že u sebe zavíráš moudrost?
9 What? do you know and not we know do you understand? and not [is] with us it.
Co víš, čehož bychom nevěděli? Èemu rozumíš, aby toho při nás nebylo?
10 Both [the] gray haired as well as [the] aged [are] among us [those] old more than father your days.
I šedivýť i stařec mezi námi jest, ano i starší věkem než otec tvůj.
11 ¿ [too] little For you [are] [the] consolations of God and a word to gentleness with you.
Zdali malá jsou tobě potěšování Boha silného, čili něco je zastěňuje tobě?
12 Why? does it carry away you heart your and why? do they flash! eyes your.
Tak-liž tě jalo srdce tvé, a tak-liž blíkají oči tvé,
13 That you will turn against God spirit your and you will bring out from mouth your words.
Že smíš odpovídati Bohu silnému tak pyšně, a vypouštěti z úst svých ty řeči?
14 What? [is] a person that he will be pure and that he will be righteous [one] born of a woman.
Nebo což jest člověk, aby se mohl očistiti, aneb spravedliv býti narozený z ženy?
15 There! (in holy [ones] his *Q(K)*) not he trusts and [the] heavens not they are pure in view his.
An při svatých jeho není dokonalosti, a nebesa nejsou čistá před očima jeho,
16 Indeed? for [one who] is abhorrent and [one who] is corrupt a person [who] drinks like water unrighteousness.
Nadto ohavný a neužitečný člověk, kterýž pije nepravost jako vodu.
17 I will tell you listen to me and what I have seen and I will recount.
Já oznámím tobě, poslyš mne; to zajisté, což jsem viděl, vypravovati budu,
18 [that] which Wise [people] they have told and not they have hidden from ancestors their.
Což moudří vynesli a nezatajili, slýchavše od předků svých.
19 To them to alone them it was given the land and not he passed a stranger in midst their.
Jimž samým dána byla země, aniž přejíti mohl cizí prostředkem jejich.
20 All [the] days of a wicked [person] he [is] writhing in pain and [the] number of years [which] they have been stored up for ruthless [person].
Po všecky své dny bezbožný sám se bolestí trápí, po všecka, pravím léta, skrytá před ukrutníkem.
21 [the] sound of Dread [is] in ears his in peace a destroyer he will come to him.
Zvuk strachu jest v uších jeho, že i v čas pokoje zhoubce připadne na něj.
22 Not he believes to return from darkness (and [is] watched *Q(k)*) he to [the] sword.
Nevěří, by se měl navrátiti z temností, ustavičně očekávaje na sebe meče.
23 [is] wandering He for food where? he knows - that [has been] prepared in hand his a day of darkness.
Bývá i tulákem, chleba hledaje, kde by byl, cítě, že pro něj nastrojen jest den temností.
24 They terrify him anxiety and distress it overpowers him like a king - ready for battle.
Děsí jej nátisk a ssoužení, kteréž se silí proti němu, jako král s vojskem sšikovaným.
25 For he has stretched out against God hand his and to [the] Almighty he behaves proudly.
Nebo vztáhl proti Bohu silnému ruku svou, a proti Všemohoucímu postavil se.
26 He runs against him with a neck with [the] thickness of [the] bosses of shields his.
Útok učinil na něj, na šíji jeho s množstvím zdvižených štítů svých.
27 For he has covered face his with fat his and he has made fat on loins.
Nebo přiodíl tvář svou tukem svým, tak že se mu nadělalo faldů na slabinách.
28 And he dwelt - cities destroyed houses [which] not people will dwell themselves which they are destined for heaps of stones.
A bydlil v městech zkažených, a v domích, v nichž žádný nebydlil, kteráž v hromady rumu obrácena byla.
29 Not he will be rich and not it will endure wealth his and not it will stretch out to the land property their.
Avšak nezbohatneť, aniž stane moc jeho, aniž se rozšíří na zemi dokonalost takových.
30 Not he will depart - from darkness young shoot[s] his it will dry up a flame so he may depart by [the] breath of mouth his.
Nevyjde z temností, mladistvou ratolest jeho usuší plamen, a tak zahyne od ducha úst svých.
31 May not he trust (in worthlessness *Q(K)*) he has been led astray for worthlessness it will be recompense his.
Ale nevěří, že v marnosti jest ten, jenž bloudí, a že marnost bude směna jeho.
32 On not day his it will be completed and palm branch his not it will grow luxuriant.
Před časem svým vyťat bude, a ratolest jeho nebude se zelenati.
33 He will wrong like vine unripe grape[s] his and he will shed like olive tree blossom his.
Zmaří, jako vinný kmen nezralý hrozen svůj, a svrže květ svůj jako oliva.
34 For a company of [the] godless [is] barren and fire it consumes [the] tents of a bribe.
Nebo shromáždění pokrytce spustne, a oheň spálí stany oslepených dary.
35 They conceive trouble and they give birth to wickedness and belly their it prepares deceit.
Kteřížto když počali ssužování, a porodili nepravost, hned břicho jejich strojí jinou lest.
