Job 15
1 And he answered Eliphaz the Temanite and he said.
Elifaz Temanac progovori tad i reče:
2 ¿ A wise [person] does he answer knowledge of wind so may he fill? east wind belly his.
“Zar šupljom naukom odgovara mudrac i vjetrom istočnim trbuh napuhuje?
3 Does he argue? with a word [which] not it is of use and words [which] not anyone profits by them.
Zar on sebe brani riječima ispraznim, besjedama koje ničem ne koriste?
4 Also you you annul fear so you may diminish meditation before God.
Još više ti činiš: ništiš strah od Boga, pred njegovim licem pribranost ukidaš.
5 For it teaches iniquity your mouth your so you may choose [the] tongue of crafty [people].
Tvoje riječi krivicu tvoju odaju, poslužio si se jezikom lukavih,
6 It condemns as guilty you own mouth your and not I and own lips your they testify against you.
vlastita te usta osuđuju, ne ja, protiv tebe same ti usne svjedoče.
7 ¿ First human being were you born and before [the] hills were you brought forth?
Zar si prvi čovjek koji se rodio? Zar si na svijet prije bregova došao?
8 ¿ In [the] council of God do you listen and you may restrain? to yourself wisdom.
Zar si tajne Božje ti prisluškivao i mudrost čitavu za se prisvojio?
9 What? do you know and not we know do you understand? and not [is] with us it.
Što ti znadeš, a da i mi ne znamo, što ti razumiješ, a da to ne shvaćamo?
10 Both [the] gray haired as well as [the] aged [are] among us [those] old more than father your days.
Ima među nama i sijedih i starih kojima je više ljeta no tvom ocu.
11 ¿ [too] little For you [are] [the] consolations of God and a word to gentleness with you.
Zar su ti utjehe Božje premalene i blage riječi upućene tebi?
12 Why? does it carry away you heart your and why? do they flash! eyes your.
Što te srce tvoje tako slijepo goni i što tako divlje prevrćeš očima
13 That you will turn against God spirit your and you will bring out from mouth your words.
kad proti Bogu jarost svoju okrećeš, a iz usta takve riječi ti izlaze!
14 What? [is] a person that he will be pure and that he will be righteous [one] born of a woman.
Što je čovjek da bi čist mogao biti? Zar je itko rođen od žene pravedan?
15 There! (in holy [ones] his *Q(K)*) not he trusts and [the] heavens not they are pure in view his.
Gle, ni u svece se On ne pouzdava, oku njegovu ni nebesa čista nisu,
16 Indeed? for [one who] is abhorrent and [one who] is corrupt a person [who] drinks like water unrighteousness.
a kamoli to biće gadno i buntovno, čovjek što k'o vodu pije opačinu!
17 I will tell you listen to me and what I have seen and I will recount.
Mene sad poslušaj, poučit' te hoću, što god sam vidjeh, ispričat' ti želim,

Zlikovac se muči cijelog svoga vijeka, nasilniku već su ljeta odbrojena.
21 [the] sound of Dread [is] in ears his in peace a destroyer he will come to him.
Krik strave svagda mu u ušima ječi, dok miruje, na njeg baca se razbojnik.
22 Not he believes to return from darkness (and [is] watched *Q(k)*) he to [the] sword.
Ne nada se da će izbjeći tminama i znade dobro da je maču namijenjen,
23 [is] wandering He for food where? he knows - that [has been] prepared in hand his a day of darkness.
strvinaru da je kao plijen obećan. On znade da mu se dan propasti bliži.
24 They terrify him anxiety and distress it overpowers him like a king - ready for battle.

27 For he has covered face his with fat his and he has made fat on loins.
Lice mu bijaše obloženo salom a bokovi pretilinom otežali.
28 And he dwelt - cities destroyed houses [which] not people will dwell themselves which they are destined for heaps of stones.
Razrušene je zaposjeo gradove i kućišta nastanio napuštena. Srušit će se ono što za sebe sazda;
29 Not he will be rich and not it will endure wealth his and not it will stretch out to the land property their.
cvasti mu neće, već rasuti se blago, sjena mu se neće po zemlji širiti.
30 Not he will depart - from darkness young shoot[s] his it will dry up a flame so he may depart by [the] breath of mouth his.
On se tami više izmaknuti neće, opržit će oganj njegove mladice, u dahu plamenih usta nestat će ga.
31 May not he trust (in worthlessness *Q(K)*) he has been led astray for worthlessness it will be recompense his.
U taštinu svoju neka se ne uzda, jer će mu ispraznost biti svom nagradom.
32 On not day his it will be completed and palm branch his not it will grow luxuriant.
Prije vremena će svenut' mu mladice, grane mu se nikad neće zazelenjet'.
33 He will wrong like vine unripe grape[s] his and he will shed like olive tree blossom his.
Kao loza, grozd će stresat' svoj nezreo, poput masline pobacit će cvatove.
34 For a company of [the] godless [is] barren and fire it consumes [the] tents of a bribe.
Da, bezbožničko je jalovo koljeno, i vatra proždire šator podmitljivca.
35 They conceive trouble and they give birth to wickedness and belly their it prepares deceit.
