< Job 14 >
1 A human being born of a woman [is] short of days and surfeited of turmoil.
“Munthu wobadwa mwa amayi amakhala masiku owerengeka ndipo ndi odzaza ndi mavuto okhaokha.
2 Like a flower he comes forth and he withered and he fled like shadow and not he remains.
Amaphuka ngati duwa ndipo kenaka amafota; amathawa ngati mthunzi ndipo sakhalitsa.
3 Indeed? on this do you open eyes your and me do you bring? in judgment with yourself.
Kodi munthu wotereyo nʼkumuyangʼanitsitsa? Kodi mungamubweretse pamaso panu kuti mumuzenge mlandu?
4 Who? will he make a clean [thing] from an unclean [thing] not one [person].
Ndani angatulutse chabwino mʼchoyipa? Palibe ndi mmodzi yemwe!
5 If [are] determined - days his [the] number of months his [is] with you (limits his *Q(K)*) you have appointed and not he will pass.
Masiku a munthu ndi odziwikiratu; munakhazikitsa chiwerengero cha miyezi yake ndipo munamulembera malire amene sangathe kuwalumpha.
6 Look away from on him so he may cease until he takes pleasure in like a hired laborer day his.
Choncho Inu mumufulatire ndipo mumuleke apumule kufikira atakondwera nawo moyo ngati munthu waganyu.
7 For there for a tree [is] hope if it will be cut down and again it will sprout afresh and young shoot[s] its not it will fail.
“Mtengo uli nacho chiyembekezo: ngati wadulidwa, udzaphukiranso ndipo nthambi zake sizidzaleka kuphukira.
8 Though it will grow old in the ground root its and in the dust it will die stump its.
Mizu yake ingathe kukalamba mʼnthaka ndipo chitsa chake nʼkuwola pa dothi,
9 From [the] scent of water it will show buds and it will produce shoot[s] like a plant.
koma pamene chinyontho chafika udzaphukira ndipo udzaphuka nthambi ngati mtengo wanthete.
10 And a man he dies and he was weak and he expired a person and where [is]? he.
Koma munthu amafa nayikidwa mʼmanda, amapuma mpweya wotsiriza ndipo kutha kwake nʼkomweko.
11 They disappear waters from [the] sea and a river it dries up and it is dry.
Monga madzi amaphwera mʼnyanja kapena monga mtsinje umaphwera nuwuma,
12 And a person he lies down and not he will arise until [is] not heaven not they will awake and not they will be roused from sleep their.
momwemonso munthu amagona ndipo sadzukanso; mpaka zamlengalenga zidzathe, anthu sadzauka kapena kudzutsidwa ku tulo tawo.
13 Who? will he give - in Sheol you will hide me you will conceal me until turns back anger your you will set for me a limit and you will remember me. (Sheol )
“Aa, Inu mukanangondibisa mʼmanda ndi kundiphimba kuti ndisaoneke mpaka mkwiyo wanu utapita! Achikhala munandiyikira nthawi, kuti pambuyo pake mundikumbukirenso. (Sheol )
14 If he will die a man ¿ will he live all [the] days of service my I will wait until comes relief my.
Munthu akafa, kodi adzakhalanso ndi moyo? Masiku anga onse a moyo wovutikawu ndidzadikira mpaka itafika nthawi yomasulidwa.
15 You will call and I I will answer you for [the] work of hands your you will long.
Inu mudzandiyitane ndipo ndidzakuyankhani; inu mudzafunitsitsa kuona cholengedwa chimene munachipanga ndi manja anu.
16 For now steps my you will count not you will watch over sin my.

Zolakwa zanga zidzakulungidwa mʼthumba; inu mudzaphimba tchimo langa.

“Koma monga phiri limakokolokera ndi kuswekasweka ndipo monga thanthwe limasunthira kuchoka pa malo ake,
19 Stones - they rub away waters it washes off overflowings its [the] dust of [the] earth and [the] hope of humankind you destroy.
monganso madzi oyenda amaperesera miyala ndipo madzi othamanga amakokololera nthaka, momwemonso Inu mumawononga chiyembekezo cha munthu.
20 You overpower him to perpetuity and he went [you are] changing face his and you sent away him.

22 Only own flesh his on himself it is in pain and self his on himself it mourns.
Iye amangomva zowawa za mʼthupi lake ndipo amangodzilirira yekha mwini wakeyo.”
