Job 11
1 And he answered Zophar the Naamathite and he said.
Daarop nam Sofar van Naäma het woord, en sprak:
2 ¿ A multitude of words not will it be answered and or? a man of lips will he be acquitted.
Zo’n praatvaar zou onbeantwoord blijven, Zo’n held met de lippen in het gelijk gesteld;
3 Empty boasts your men will they silence? and have you mocked? and there not [is one who] puts to shame.
Uw zwetsen zou anderen tot zwijgen brengen, Uw onzinnig gebrabbel door niemand worden beschaamd?
4 And you have said [is] pure teaching my and clean I am in view your.
Gij zegt tot God: Mijn wandel is rein, Ik ben onberispelijk in uw oog!
5 And but who? will he give God to speak and he may open lips his with you.
Wilde God maar eens spreken, Zijn lippen tegen u openen,
6 And may he tell to you - [the] secrets of wisdom for double [belongs] to sound wisdom and know that he will cause to forget to you God some of iniquity your.
U de geheimen der Wijsheid ontvouwen, Die zo moeilijk zijn te verstaan: Dan zoudt ge erkennen, dat God van u eist, Wat uw misdaad verdient.
7 ¿ [the] searching of God will you find or? to [the] end of [the] Almighty will you find.
Zoudt ge de diepten Gods kunnen peilen, De alwetendheid van den Almachtige doorgronden?
8 [the] heights of [the] heavens What? will you do deep more than Sheol what? will you know. (Sheol h7585)
Zij is hoger nog dan de hemelen: Wat kunt ge beginnen; Dieper nog dan de onderwereld: Wat kunt ge begrijpen; (Sheol h7585)
9 [is] long More than [the] earth measure its and broad more than [the] sea.
Haar meetsnoer is langer dan de aarde, En breder nog dan de zee!
10 If he will pass by and he may shut up so he may summon an assembly and who? will he turn back him.
Als hij iets laat passeren, het verborgen houdt, Of het ruchtbaar maakt: wie zal Hem weerhouden?
11 For he he knows men of falsehood and he has seen wickedness and not he shows himself attentive.
Want Hij doorschouwt de bedriegelijke mensen; Hij kent het kwaad, het ontgaat Hem niet!
12 And a person hollow he will become intelligent and a male donkey of a wild donkey a human being it will be born.
Maar een leeghoofd zal dit eerst begrijpen, Als het jong van een ezel een mensenkind wordt!
13 If you you have directed heart your and you will spread out to him palms your.
Maar wanneer gij er acht op wilt slaan, En tot Hem uw handen verheft,
14 If wickedness [is] in hand your put far away it and may not you cause to dwell in tents your injustice.
De misdaad uit uw hand verwijdert, En in uw tenten geen onrecht laat wonen:
15 For then - you will lift up face your from blemish and you will be firmly established and not you will fear.
Dan heft ge smetteloos het hoofd omhoog, Dan staat ge vast, en behoeft niet te vrezen.
16 For you trouble you will forget like waters [which] they have passed away you will remember [it].
Ja, dan zult ge de ellende vergeten, Er aan denken als aan water, dat voorbij is gestroomd;
17 And more than noon it will rise lifespan it will be dark like the morning it will become.
Dan rijst uw leven klaarder nog dan de middag, En uw duisternis zal als de morgen zijn;
18 And you will be secure for there [is] hope and you will be well protected to security you will lie down.
Dan zult ge vertrouwen, Want er is weer hoop! Dan gaat ge weer slapen onder veilige hoede,
19 And you will lie down and there not [will be one who] disturbs and they will entreat face your many [people].
Dan legt ge u neer, en schrikt niemand u op; Dan dingen velen naar uw gunst,
20 And [the] eyes of wicked [people] they will fail and a place of escape it will be lost from them and hope their [will be] a gasp of life.
Terwijl de ogen der bozen versmachten: Want die blijven van iedere toevlucht verstoken, Hun enige hoop is hun laatste zucht!
