Jeremiah 1
1 [the] words of Jeremiah [the] son of Hilkiah one of the priests who [were] at Anathoth in [the] land of Benjamin.
Reden Jeremias, des Sohnes Hilkias, der zu den Priestern gehörte, die in Anathoth im Gebiete Benjamins wohnten:
2 Whom it came [the] word of Yahweh to him in [the] days of Josiah [the] son of Amon [the] king of Judah in thir-teen year of reigning his.
an welchen das Wort Jahwes erging in den Tagen Josias, des Sohnes Amons, des Königs von Juda, im dreizehnten Jahre seiner Regierung,
3 And it came in [the] days of Jehoiakim [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah until was finished one [plus] ten year of Zedekiah [the] son of Josiah [the] king of Judah until went into exile Jerusalem in the month fifth.
und danach weiter erging in den Tagen Jojakims, des Sohnes Josias, des Königs von Juda, bis zum Ende des elften Jahres Zedekias, des Sohnes Josias, des Königs von Juda, bis zur Wegführung Jerusalems im fünften Monat.
4 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
Es erging aber das Wort Jahwes an mich also:
5 Before (I formed you *Q(k)*) in the belly I knew you and before you came forth from [the] womb I set apart you a prophet to the nations I appointed you.
Ehe ich dich im Mutterleibe bildete, habe ich dich ausersehen, und ehe du aus dem Mutterschoße hervorgingst, habe ich dich geweiht; zu einem Propheten der Völker habe ich dich bestimmt!
6 And I said alas! O Lord Yahweh here! not I know to speak for [am] a youth I.
Da sprach ich: Ach Herr, Jahwe! Ich verstehe ja nicht zu reden, denn ich bin noch zu jung.
7 And he said Yahweh to me may not you say [am] a youth I for to every [one] whom I will send you you will go and all that I will command you you will speak.
Jahwe aber sprach zu mir: Sage nicht: Ich bin noch zu jung! Sondern zu allen, zu denen ich dich senden werde, sollst du gehen, und alles, was ich dir auftragen werde, sollst du reden.
8 May not you be afraid of them for [will be] with you I to deliver you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Fürchte dich nicht vor ihnen, denn ich bin mit dir, dich zu erretten! - ist der Spruch Jahwes.
9 And he stretched out Yahweh hand his and he touched mouth my and he said Yahweh to me here! I have put words my in mouth your.
Sodann streckte Jahwe seine Hand aus und berührte damit meinen Mund.
10 See I appoint you - the day this over the nations and over kingdoms to pluck up and to pull down and to destroy and to tear down to build and to plant.
Und Jahwe sprach zu mir: Hiermit lege ich meine Worte in deinen Mund; siehe, ich bestelle dich heute für die Völker und für die Königreiche, auszurotten und zu zerstören, zu verderben und niederzureißen, zu bauen und zu pflanzen!
11 And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying what? [are] you seeing O Jeremiah and I said a branch of an almond tree I [am] seeing.
Da erging das Wort Jahwes an mich also: Was siehst du, Jeremia? Ich erwiderte: Einen Mandelzweig sehe ich.
12 And he said Yahweh to me you have done well to see for [am] watching I over word my to do it.
Jahwe aber sprach zu mir: Du hast recht gesehen! Ja, ich wache über meinem Wort, es wahr zu machen.
13 And it came [the] word of Yahweh - to me a second [time] saying what? [are] you seeing and I said a pot blown upon I [am] seeing and face its [is] away from [the] face of north-ward.
Da erging das Wort Jahwes an mich zum zweiten Mal also: Was siehst du? Ich erwiderte: Einen siedenden Topf sehe ich, und zwar kehrt er uns seine Vorderseite von Norden her zu.
14 And he said Yahweh to me from [the] north it will be let loose calamity on all [the] inhabitants of the land.
Da sprach Jahwe zu mir: Vom Norden her wird das Unheil zum Sieden gebracht über alle Bewohner des Landes,
15 For - here I [am] summoning all [the] clans of [the] kingdoms of north-ward [the] utterance of Yahweh and they will come and they will set each one throne his [the] entrance of - [the] gates of Jerusalem and on all walls its all around and on all [the] cities of Judah.
denn ich will alle Völkerschaften der nordischen Königreiche berufen - ist der Spruch Jahwes -, daß sie kommen und ein jeder seinen Thron an den Eingang der Thore Jerusalems setze und wider alle seine Mauern ringsum und wider alle Städte Judas.
16 And I will speak judgments my with them on all wickedness their which they have forsaken me and they have made smoke to gods other and they have bowed down to [the] products of hands their.
Und so will ich sie zur Rechenschaft ziehen wegen aller ihrer Bosheit, daß sie mich verlassen und andern Göttern geopfert und vor den Machwerken ihrer Hände sich niedergeworfen haben.
17 And you you will gird loins your and you will arise and you will say to them all that I I will command you may not you be dismayed because of them lest I should make dismayed you before them.
Du aber, gürte deine Lenden, mache dich auf und sage zu ihnen alles, was ich dir auftragen werde! Erschrick nicht vor ihnen, auf daß ich dich nicht vor ihnen in Schrecken setze!
18 And I here! I have made you this day into a city of fortification and into a pillar of iron and into walls of bronze on all the land to [the] kings of Judah to officials its to priests its and to [the] people of the land.
Mache doch ich dich heute zu einer festen Burg und einer eisernen Säule und einer ehernen Ringmauer gegenüber dem ganzen Lande, den Königen Judas, seinen obersten Beamten, seinen Priestern und der Bevölkerung des Landes -
19 And they will fight against you and not they will prevail to you for [will be] with you I [the] utterance of Yahweh to deliver you.
und wenn sie wider dich kämpfen, so werden sie doch nichts über dich vermögen, denn ich bin mit dir - ist der Spruch Jahwes -, dich zu erretten.
