Jeremiah 8
1 At the time that [the] utterance of Yahweh (people will bring out *Q(K)*) [the] bones of [the] kings of Judah and [the] bones of officials its and [the] bones of the priests and - [the] bones of the prophets and [the] bones of [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem from graves their.
En aquel tiempo, dice Yavé, sacarán de los sepulcros los huesos de los reyes de Judá, sus magistrados, los sacerdotes, los profetas y los habitantes de Jerusalén.
2 And they will spread out them to the sun and to the moon and to all - [the] host of the heavens which they loved them and which they served them and which they walked after them and which they consulted them and which they bowed down to them not they will be gathered and not they will be buried dung on [the] surface of the ground they will become.
Los esparcirán ante el sol, la luna y toda la hueste del cielo, a quienes amaron y rindieron culto, siguieron y consultaron, y se postraron. No serán recogidos ni sepultados. Quedarán como abono sobre la superficie de la tierra.
3 And it will be chosen death more than life by all the remnant which remain from the family evil this in all the places which remain where I have banished them there [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.
El remanente que quede de toda esta perversa familia preferirá la muerte y no la vida en todos los lugares a donde Yo los eche, dice Yavé de las huestes.
4 And you will say to them thus he says Yahweh ¿ do people fall and not do they stand up? or? does anyone turn away and not does he return?
Les dirás: Yavé dice: El que cae, ¿no se volverá a levantar? El que se desvía, ¿no se devuelve?
5 Why? has it turned away the people this Jerusalem apostasy enduring they have kept hold on deceitfulness they have refused to return.
¿Por qué apostata este pueblo, Jerusalén, con perpetua apostasía? Se aferran al engaño, rehúsan regresar.
6 I have paid attention and I have heard not right they speak there not [is] anyone [who] relents on wickedness his saying what? have I done all of it [is] turning (in own course their *Q(K)*) like a horse [which] rushes in the battle.
Oí atentamente y escuché. No hablan rectamente. No hay quien se arrepienta de su perversidad y diga: ¿Qué hice? Cada cual se apartó por su camino, como caballo que arremete en la batalla.
7 Also a stork in the heavens it knows appointed times its and a turtle-dove (and a swift *Q(K)*) and a crane they keep [the] time of coming they and people my not they know [the] ordinance of Yahweh.
Aun la cigüeña en el cielo conoce sus tiempos. La tórtola, la golondrina y la grulla observan el tiempo de su migración, pero mi pueblo no conoce la Ordenanza de Yavé.
8 How? will you say [are] wise we and [the] law of Yahweh [is] with us truly here! into falsehood it has made [it] a stylus of falsehood of scribes.
¿Cómo dicen: Somos sabios, la Ley de Yavé está con nosotros? Ciertamente la pluma engañosa del escriba la convirtió en mentira.
9 They will be put to shame wise [people] they will be dismayed and they have been captured there! [the] word of Yahweh they have rejected and wisdom of what? [belongs] to them.
Los sabios se avergonzaron. Se espantaron y fueron consternados. Ciertamente aborrecieron la Palabra de Yavé. ¿Cuál sabiduría tienen?
10 Therefore I will give wives their to others fields their to [those who] dispossess for from [the] small and unto [the] great all of it [is] gaining unjust gain from prophet and unto priest all of it [is] doing falsehood.
Por tanto, daré sus esposas a otros, y sus campos a los conquistadores, porque cada uno, desde el más pequeño hasta el más grande, persigue la avaricia. Todos practican el engaño desde el profeta hasta el sacerdote.
11 And they have healed [the] fracture of [the] daughter of people my on a trifling [thing] saying peace - peace and there not [is] peace.
Curan con liviandad el quebrantamiento de la hija de mi pueblo, pues dicen: ¡Paz! ¡Paz! Y no hay paz.
12 Are they ashamed? that an abomination they have done also at all not they are ashamed and to be ashamed not they know therefore they will fall among [those who] fall at [the] time of punishment their they will stumble he says Yahweh.
¿Se avergonzaron cuando cometieron repugnancia? Ciertamente no se avergonzaron ni supieron ruborizarse. Por tanto, caerán con los que caigan. En el tiempo de su castigo tropezarán, dice Yavé.
13 Surely I will make an end of them [the] utterance of Yahweh there not [will be] grapes on the vine and there not [will be] figs on the fig tree and the leafage it will wither and I gave to them they will pass away them.
En verdad los acabaré, dice Yavé. No habrá racimos en la vid, ni higos en la higuera. Hasta las hojas se marchitarán, y lo que les di pasará de ellos.
14 Concerning what? [are] we sitting gather yourselves so we may go into [the] cities of fortification so we may perish there for Yahweh God our he has silenced us and he has given to drink us water of poison for we have sinned to Yahweh.
¿Por qué nos quedamos aquí sentados? Reúnanse y entremos en las ciudades fortificadas y perezcamos allí, porque Yavé nuestro ʼElohim nos lleva a perecer. Nos dio a beber agua envenenada, porque pecamos contra Yavé.
15 We waited eagerly for peace and there not [was] good for a time of healing and there! terror.
Esperábamos paz y no hay tal bien, día de sanidad, pero aquí está el terror.
16 From Dan it has been heard [the] snorting of horses his from [the] sound of [the] neighings of mighty [horses] his it has shaken all the land and they have come and they have consumed [the] land and what fills it [the] city and [the] inhabitants in it.
Desde Dan se oye el relincho de los caballos. Toda la tierra se estremece ante el estruendo del relincho de sus corceles. Llegan y devoran la tierra y todo lo que hay en ella, la ciudad y sus habitantes.
17 For here I [am] about to send among you snakes vipers which there not for them [is] a charm and they will bite you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Porque ciertamente Yo envío contra ustedes serpientes, víboras, contra las cuales no hay encantamiento, y los morderán, dice Yavé.
18 Cheerfulness my on sorrow on me heart my [is] faint.
Aunque tenga consuelo en la aflicción, mi corazón desfallece dentro de mí.
19 There! [the] sound of [the] cry for help of [the] daughter of people my from a land of distance ¿ [is] Yahweh not in Zion or? [is] king its not in it why? have they provoked to anger me by idols their by vanities of foreignness.
Ciertamente escucho el lamento de la hija de mi pueblo desde una tierra lejana. ¿No está Yavé en Sion? ¿Su Rey no está en ella? ¿Por qué me provocaron con imágenes de talla, con ídolos extraños?
20 It has passed harvest it has come to an end summer and we not we have been saved.
Pasó la cosecha. Se acabó el verano y nosotros no fuimos salvados.
21 On [the] brokenness of [the] daughter of people my I have been broken I am in mourning desolation it has taken hold of me.
Por el quebrantamiento de la hija de mi pueblo estoy quebrantado. Estoy entenebrecido. El espanto me arrebató.
22 ¿ Balm [is] there not in Gilead or? a physician [is] there not there for why? not has it come up [the] healing of [the] daughter of people my.
¿No hay bálsamo en Galaad? ¿No hay médico allí? ¿Entonces, por qué no hay sanidad para la hija de mi pueblo?
