Jeremiah 8
1 At the time that [the] utterance of Yahweh (people will bring out *Q(K)*) [the] bones of [the] kings of Judah and [the] bones of officials its and [the] bones of the priests and - [the] bones of the prophets and [the] bones of [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem from graves their.
En ce temps-là, dit l'Eternel, on jettera les os des Rois de Juda, et les os de ses Princes, les os des Sacrificateurs, et les os des Prophètes, et les os des habitants de Jérusalem, hors de leurs sépulcres.
2 And they will spread out them to the sun and to the moon and to all - [the] host of the heavens which they loved them and which they served them and which they walked after them and which they consulted them and which they bowed down to them not they will be gathered and not they will be buried dung on [the] surface of the ground they will become.
Et on les étendra devant le soleil, et devant la lune, et devant toute l'armée des cieux, qui sont des choses qu'ils ont aimées, qu'ils ont servies et après lesquelles ils ont marché; des choses qu'ils ont recherchées, et devant lesquelles ils se sont prosternés; ils ne seront point recueillis ni ensevelis, ils seront comme du fumier sur le dessus de la terre.
3 And it will be chosen death more than life by all the remnant which remain from the family evil this in all the places which remain where I have banished them there [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts.
Et la mort sera plus désirable que la vie à tous ceux qui seront restés de cette méchante race, ceux, [dis-je], qui seront restés dans tous les lieux où je les aurai chassés, dit l'Eternel des armées.
4 And you will say to them thus he says Yahweh ¿ do people fall and not do they stand up? or? does anyone turn away and not does he return?
Tu leur diras donc: ainsi a dit l'Eternel: si on tombe, ne se relèvera-t-on pas? et si on se détourne, ne retournera-t-on pas [au chemin]?
5 Why? has it turned away the people this Jerusalem apostasy enduring they have kept hold on deceitfulness they have refused to return.
Pourquoi [donc] s'est égaré ce peuple, [les habitants de] Jérusalem, d'un égarement continuel? ils se sont adonnés opiniâtrement à la tromperie, et ont refusé de se convertir.
6 I have paid attention and I have heard not right they speak there not [is] anyone [who] relents on wickedness his saying what? have I done all of it [is] turning (in own course their *Q(K)*) like a horse [which] rushes in the battle.
Je me suis rendu attentif, et j'ai écouté, mais nul ne parle selon la justice, il n'y a personne qui se repente de son péché, disant: qu'ai-je fait? Ils sont tous retournés vers les objets qui les entraînent, comme le cheval qui se jette avec impétuosité parmi la bataille.
7 Also a stork in the heavens it knows appointed times its and a turtle-dove (and a swift *Q(K)*) and a crane they keep [the] time of coming they and people my not they know [the] ordinance of Yahweh.
Même la cigogne a connu dans les cieux ses saisons, la tourterelle et l'hirondelle, et la grue, ont pris garde au temps qu'elles doivent venir; mais mon peuple n'a point connu le droit de l'Eternel.
8 How? will you say [are] wise we and [the] law of Yahweh [is] with us truly here! into falsehood it has made [it] a stylus of falsehood of scribes.
Comment dites-vous: nous sommes les sages, et la Loi de l'Eternel est avec nous? voilà, certes on a agi faussement, et la plume des Scribes [est une plume] de fausseté.
9 They will be put to shame wise [people] they will be dismayed and they have been captured there! [the] word of Yahweh they have rejected and wisdom of what? [belongs] to them.
Les sages ont été confus, ils ont été épouvantés et pris, car ils ont rejeté la parole de l'Eternel? et en quoi seraient-ils sages?
10 Therefore I will give wives their to others fields their to [those who] dispossess for from [the] small and unto [the] great all of it [is] gaining unjust gain from prophet and unto priest all of it [is] doing falsehood.
C'est pourquoi je donnerai leurs femmes à d'autres, et leurs champs à des gens qui les posséderont en héritage; car depuis le plus petit jusqu’au plus grand, chacun s'adonne au gain déshonnête, tant le Prophète que le Sacrificateur, tous agissent faussement.
11 And they have healed [the] fracture of [the] daughter of people my on a trifling [thing] saying peace - peace and there not [is] peace.
Et ils ont pansé la plaie de la fille de mon peuple à la légère, en disant: paix, paix; et il n'y avait point de paix.
12 Are they ashamed? that an abomination they have done also at all not they are ashamed and to be ashamed not they know therefore they will fall among [those who] fall at [the] time of punishment their they will stumble he says Yahweh.
Ont-ils été confus de ce qu'ils ont commis abomination? Ils n'en ont eu même aucune honte, et ils ne savent ce que c'est que de rougir; c'est pourquoi ils tomberont sur ceux qui seront tombés; ils tomberont au temps que je les visiterai, a dit l'Eternel.
13 Surely I will make an end of them [the] utterance of Yahweh there not [will be] grapes on the vine and there not [will be] figs on the fig tree and the leafage it will wither and I gave to them they will pass away them.
En les ramassant je les consumerai entièrement dit l'Eternel; il n'y a pas une grappe dans les vignes; et il n'y a pas une figue au figuier, la feuille est flétrie, et ce que je leur ai donné sera transporté avec eux.
14 Concerning what? [are] we sitting gather yourselves so we may go into [the] cities of fortification so we may perish there for Yahweh God our he has silenced us and he has given to drink us water of poison for we have sinned to Yahweh.
Pour quelle raison nous arrêtons-nous? Assemblez-vous, et entrons dans les villes fortes, et nous serons là en repos, car l'Eternel notre Dieu nous a fait taire, et nous a donné à boire de l'eau de fiel, parce que nous avons péché contre l'Eternel.
15 We waited eagerly for peace and there not [was] good for a time of healing and there! terror.
On attend la paix, et il n'y a rien de bon; [on attend] le temps de la guérison, et voici le trouble.
16 From Dan it has been heard [the] snorting of horses his from [the] sound of [the] neighings of mighty [horses] his it has shaken all the land and they have come and they have consumed [the] land and what fills it [the] city and [the] inhabitants in it.
Le ronflement de ses chevaux a été ouï de Dan, et tout le pays a été ému du bruit des hennissements de ses puissants chevaux; ils sont venus et ont dévoré le pays et tout ce qui y était, la ville et ceux qui habitaient en elle.
17 For here I [am] about to send among you snakes vipers which there not for them [is] a charm and they will bite you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Qui plus est, voici, je m'en vais envoyer contre vous des serpents, des basilics, contre lesquels il n'y a point d'enchantement, et ils vous mordront, dit l'Eternel.
18 Cheerfulness my on sorrow on me heart my [is] faint.
J'ai voulu prendre des forces pour soutenir la douleur, mais mon cœur est languissant au dedans de moi.
19 There! [the] sound of [the] cry for help of [the] daughter of people my from a land of distance ¿ [is] Yahweh not in Zion or? [is] king its not in it why? have they provoked to anger me by idols their by vanities of foreignness.
Voici la voix du cri de la fille de mon peuple [qui crie] d'un pays éloigné; l'Eternel n'est-il point en Sion? son Roi n'est-il point au milieu d'elle? Mais pourquoi m'ont-ils irrité par leurs images taillées, par les vanités de l'étranger?
20 It has passed harvest it has come to an end summer and we not we have been saved.
La moisson est passée; l'Eté est fini, et nous n'avons point été délivrés.
21 On [the] brokenness of [the] daughter of people my I have been broken I am in mourning desolation it has taken hold of me.
Je suis amèrement affligé à cause de la calamité de la fille de mon peuple, j'en suis en deuil, j'en suis tout désolé.
22 ¿ Balm [is] there not in Gilead or? a physician [is] there not there for why? not has it come up [the] healing of [the] daughter of people my.
N'y a-t-il point de baume en Galaad? n'y a-t-il point là de médecin? pourquoi donc la plaie de la fille de mon peuple n'est-elle pas consolidée?
