Jeremiah 7
1 The word which it came to Jeremiah from with Yahweh saying.
TUHAN menyuruh aku pergi ke Rumah-Nya dan berdiri di pintu gerbang yang dilalui orang Yehuda yang datang berbakti. Ia menyuruh aku mengumumkan pesan-Nya ini kepada mereka, "Ubahlah kelakuan dan cara hidupmu, maka Aku, TUHAN Yang Mahakuasa, Allah Israel akan mengizinkan kamu tetap tinggal di sini.
2 Stand in [the] gate of [the] house of Yahweh and you will proclaim there the word this and you will say hear [the] word of Yahweh O all Judah who come in the gates these to bow down to Yahweh.
3 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel make good ways your and deeds your so let me cause to dwell you in the place this.
4 May not you trust for yourselves to words of deception saying [the] temple of Yahweh [the] temple of Yahweh [are] [the] temple of Yahweh they.
Janganlah percaya kepada penipu yang berkata, 'Kita aman, sebab ini Rumah TUHAN. Sungguh ini Rumah TUHAN!'
5 That except certainly you will make good ways your and deeds your certainly [if] you will do justice between everyone and between neighbor his.
Ubahlah hidupmu dan kelakuanmu. Berlakulah adil seorang terhadap yang lain.
6 [the] sojourner [the] fatherless And [the] widow not you must oppress and blood innocent may not you shed in the place this and after gods other not you must walk for harm of you.
Jangan lagi menindas orang asing, anak yatim piatu, dan janda-janda. Jangan membunuh orang yang tidak bersalah di negeri ini. Jangan menyembah ilah-ilah lain, sebab hal itu akan membinasakan kamu.
7 And I will cause to dwell you in the place this in the land which I gave to ancestors your from antiquity and until perpetuity.
Kalau kamu mengubah cara hidupmu dan kelakuanmu serta berhenti melakukan semuanya itu, Aku akan mengizinkan kamu tetap tinggal di negeri ini yang telah Kuberikan sebagai tanah pusaka kepada leluhurmu.
8 Here! you [are] relying for yourselves on words of deception to not to profit.
Tetapi, sesungguhnya percuma saja kamu percaya kepada kata-kata dusta.
9 ¿ Will you steal - will you murder? and will you commit adultery? and will you swear? to falsehood and will you make smoke? to Baal and will you walk? after gods other which not you have known.
Kamu mencuri, membunuh, berzinah, memberi kesaksian dusta, mempersembahkan kurban kepada Baal, dan menyembah dewa-dewa yang tidak kamu kenal.
10 And you will come and you will stand before me in the house this which it is called name my on it and you will say we are delivered so as to do all the abominations these.
Setelah semua itu kamu lakukan, kamu datang menghadap Aku di sini di Rumah-Ku sendiri, dan berkata, 'Kami aman!' Kemudian kamu melanjutkan perbuatanmu yang keji itu.
11 ¿ A den of robbers has it become the house this which it is called name my on it in view your also I here! I have seen [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Apakah kamu menganggap Rumah-Ku ini sarang perampok? Semua perbuatanmu sudah Kulihat.
12 That go please to place my which [was] in Shiloh where I caused to dwell name my there at the former [time] and see [that] which I did to it because of [the] wickedness of people my Israel.
Pergilah ke Silo, kota yang dahulu Kupilih menjadi tempat ibadat kepada-Ku. Lihatlah apa yang telah Kulakukan terhadap tempat itu karena dosa umat-Ku Israel.
13 And therefore because did you all the deeds these [the] utterance of Yahweh and I spoke to you rising early and speaking and not you listened and I called you and not you answered.
Sekalipun berkali-kali Aku berbicara kepadamu, kamu tidak mau mendengarkan. Kamu melakukan semua dosa itu, dan tak mau menyahut jika Aku memanggil.
14 And I will do to the house - which it is called name my on it which you [are] trusting in it and to the place which I gave to you and to ancestors your just as I did to Shiloh.
Nah, Rumah-Ku yang kamu andalkan, dan tempat yang Kuberikan kepada leluhurmu dan kepadamu ini akan Kuperlakukan seperti Silo dahulu.
15 And I will cast out you from on face my just as I cast out all relatives your all [the] offspring of Ephraim.
Kamu akan Kuusir dari hadapan-Ku seperti telah Kuusir sanak keluargamu, umat Israel."
16 And you may not you pray - for the people this and may not you lift up for them a cry of entreaty and a prayer and may not you entreat me for not I [will be] hearing you.
TUHAN berkata, "Yeremia, janganlah mendoakan orang-orang ini. Jangan minta tolong atau berdoa untuk mereka; jangan mendesak Aku, sebab Aku tidak mau mendengarkan permohonan itu.
17 ¿ [are] not You seeing what? [are] they doing in [the] cities of Judah and in [the] streets of Jerusalem.
Engkau sudah melihat sendiri apa yang mereka lakukan di kota-kota Yehuda dan di jalan-jalan di Yerusalem!
18 The children [are] gathering wood and the fathers [are] kindling the fire and the women [are] kneading dough to make cakes for [the] queen of the heavens and they are pouring out drink offerings to gods other so as to provoke to anger me.
Anak-anak mengumpulkan kayu bakar, orang laki-laki menyalakan api, dan orang perempuan mencampur adonan untuk membuat kue bagi dewi yang mereka namakan Ratu Surga. Dan untuk menyakiti hati-Ku mereka juga mempersembahkan air anggur kepada ilah-ilah lain.
19 ¿ Me [are] they provoking [the] utterance of Yahweh ¿ not themselves for [the] sake of [the] shame of faces their.
Tetapi sesungguhnya, bukan Aku yang mereka sakiti, melainkan diri mereka sendiri sehingga mereka malu.
20 Therefore thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh here! anger my and rage my [are] about to be poured out against the place this on humankind and on the animal[s] and on [the] tree[s] of the field and on [the] fruit of the ground and it will burn and not it will be quenched.
Aku, TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi, akan menimpakan murka-Ku yang dahsyat ke atas rumah ibadat ini, atas manusia dan binatang, juga atas pohon-pohon dan hasil bumi. Kemarahan-Ku akan berkobar-kobar seperti api yang tidak dapat dipadamkan."
21 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel burnt offerings your add to sacrifices your and eat meat.
TUHAN berkata, "Hai umat-Ku, kamu tahu bahwa persembahan yang kamu bakar di atas mezbah harus dibakar sampai habis, dan persembahan lainnya boleh kamu makan. Tetapi Aku, TUHAN berkata, silakan makan saja semuanya!
22 For not I spoke with ancestors your and not I commanded them on [the] day (brought out I *Q(K)*) them from [the] land of Egypt on matters of burnt offering and sacrifice.
Ketika Aku membawa leluhurmu keluar dari Mesir, Aku tidak memberi mereka peraturan mengenai kurban bakaran atau kurban-kurban lainnya.
23 That except the matter this I commanded them saying listen to voice my and I will become for you God and you you will become for me a people and you will walk in every way which I will command you so that it may go well for you.
Aku hanya memerintahkan mereka untuk mentaati Aku supaya Aku menjadi Allah mereka, dan mereka menjadi umat-Ku. Aku menyuruh mereka hidup menurut perintah-perintah-Ku supaya mereka bahagia.
24 And not they listened and not they inclined ear their and they walked in counsels in [the] stubbornness of heart their evil and they were backwards and not forwards.
Tetapi mereka tidak mau mendengarkan dan tidak mau memperhatikan. Mereka malah menuruti kemauan hati mereka sendiri yang keras dan jahat itu. Mereka bukannya menjadi baik melainkan menjadi lebih jahat.
25 From the day when they came out ancestors your from [the] land of Egypt until the day this and I sent to you all servants my the prophets day rising early and sending.
Sejak leluhurmu keluar dari Mesir sampai hari ini Aku selalu mengutus hamba-hamba-Ku, para nabi, kepadamu.
26 And not they listened to me and not they inclined ear their and they stiffened neck their they did evil more than ancestors their.
Tapi tak ada yang mendengarkan atau memperhatikan. Kamu malah menjadi lebih keras kepala dan jahat daripada leluhurmu."
27 And you will say to them all the words these and not they will listen to you and you will call to them and not they will answer you.
Kemudian TUHAN berkata, "Karena itu, hai Yeremia, sekalipun engkau memberitahukan semuanya itu kepada umat-Ku, mereka tidak akan memperhatikan kata-katamu. Sekalipun engkau memanggil mereka, mereka tidak akan menjawab.
28 And you will say to them this [is] the nation which not they listened to [the] voice of Yahweh God its and not they accepted correction it has perished faithfulness and it has been cut off from mouth their.
Jadi, katakanlah kepada mereka bahwa mereka adalah suatu bangsa yang tidak mau taat kepada Aku, TUHAN, Allah mereka. Mereka tidak mau belajar dari hukuman yang telah dirasakannya. Kesetiaan kepada-Ku sudah lenyap, malah tidak dibicarakan lagi."
29 Cut off hair your and throw [it] away and take up on bare heights a lamentation for he has rejected Yahweh and he has abandoned [the] generation of fury his.
TUHAN berkata, "Wahai penduduk Yerusalem, berkabunglah! Potonglah rambutmu dan buanglah! Nyanyikanlah nyanyian ratapan di atas puncak-puncak di pegunungan, sebab Aku, TUHAN, sedang murka dan telah menolak kamu semua.
30 For they have done [the] people of Judah the evil in view my [the] utterance of Yahweh they have put detestable things their in the house which it is called name my on it to make unclean it.
Orang Yehuda telah melakukan kejahatan. Berhala-berhala mereka yang Kubenci itu telah mereka tempatkan di dalam Rumah-Ku, sehingga menajiskannya.
31 And they have built [the] high places of Topheth which [is] in [the] valley of Ben Hinnom to burn sons their and daughters their in the fire which not I commanded and not it came up on heart my.
Sebuah mezbah yang bernama Tofet telah mereka dirikan di Lembah Hinom untuk mempersembahkan anak-anak mereka sebagai kurban bakaran. Padahal Aku tak pernah menyuruh mereka melakukan hal itu, bahkan tak pernah hal semacam itu timbul dalam pikiran-Ku.
32 Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and not it will be said again Topheth and [the] valley of Ben Hinnom that except [the] valley of slaughter and people will bury in Topheth from not room.
Karena itu, akan tiba waktunya tempat itu tidak lagi disebut Tofet atau Lembah Hinom, melainkan Lembah Pembantaian. Tanah itu akan menjadi tanah pekuburan karena tak ada tempat yang lain.
33 And it will become [the] corpse[s] of the people this food for [the] bird[s] of the heavens and for [the] animal[s] of the earth and there not [will be one who] terrifies.
Mayat-mayat mereka akan menjadi makanan burung dan binatang buas, tanpa ada yang mengusiknya.
34 And I will cause to cease - from [the] cities of Judah and from [the] streets of Jerusalem [the] sound of joy and [the] sound of gladness [the] sound of a bridegroom and [the] sound of a bride for a desolation it will become the land.
Negeri ini akan menjadi padang tandus. Suara kegembiraan dan suara pesta perkawinan akan Kuhentikan di kota-kota Yehuda dan di jalan-jalan Yerusalem.
