Jeremiah 52

1 [was] a son of Twenty and one year[s] Zedekiah when became king he and one [plus] ten year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his ([was] Hamutal *Q(K)*) [the] daughter of Jeremiah from Libnah.

صدقیا بیست و یک ساله بود که پادشاه شد و یازده سال در اورشلیم سلطنت کرد. اسم مادرش حمیطل (دختر ارمیای لبنه‌ای) بود.

2 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Jehoiakim.

صدقیا مثل یهویاقیم، آنچه در نظر خداوند نادرست بود، به عمل آورد،

3 For - on [the] anger of Yahweh it happened in Jerusalem and Judah until cast out he them from on face his and he rebelled Zedekiah against [the] king of Babylon.

و خداوند بر اورشلیم و یهودا خشمگین شده، ایشان را از حضور خود به دور افکند و به تبعید فرستاد. و اما صدقیا علیه پادشاه بابِل شورش کرد.

4 And it was in the year ninth of reigning his in the month tenth on the ten of the month he came Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon he and all army his on Jerusalem and they encamped on it and they built on it a siege-wall all around.

پس در روز دهم ماه دهم از سال نهم سلطنت صدقیا، نِبوکَدنِصَّر، پادشاه بابِل، با تمام سپاهیان خود به اورشلیم لشکرکشی کرد و در اطراف آن سنگر ساخت.

5 And it came the city in state of siege until one [plus] ten year of the king Zedekiah.

شهر، دو سال در محاصره بود.

6 In the month fourth on [day] nine of the month and it was severe the famine in the city and not it belonged food to [the] people of the land.

سرانجام در روز نهم ماه چهارم که قحطی در شهر بیداد می‌کرد و آخرین ذخیرهٔ نان هم تمام شده بود،

7 And it was broken into the city and all [the] men of war they fled and they went out from the city night [the] way of [the] gate between the two walls which [was] at [the] garden of the king and [the] Chaldeans [were] on the city all around and they went [the] way of the Arabah.

مردم اورشلیم، شکافی در دیوار شهر ایجاد کردند. سربازان وقتی این را دیدند، علیرغم محاصرهٔ شهر، شبانه از دروازه‌هایی که بین دو دیوار نزدیک باغهای پادشاه بود، بیرون رفتند و به طرف درهٔ اردن گریختند.

8 And they pursued [the] army of [the] Chaldeans after the king and they overtook Zedekiah in [the] plains of Jericho and all army his they were scattered from with him.

ولی سربازان بابِلی، ایشان را تعقیب کردند و در بیابانهای اطراف اریحا، صدقیای پادشاه را گرفتند، ولی محافظین او فرار کردند.

9 And they seized the king and they brought up him to [the] king of Babylon Riblah towards in [the] land of Hamath and he spoke with him judgments.

سپس او را به حضور پادشاه بابِل که در شهر ربله در سرزمین حمات مستقر شده بود، آوردند و پادشاه بابِل در آنجا حکم محکومیت او را صادر کرد،

10 And he slaughtered [the] king of Babylon [the] sons of Zedekiah to eyes his and also all [the] officials of Judah he slaughtered at Riblah.

و در برابر چشمان صدقیا تمام پسرانش و بزرگان یهودا را کشت.

11 And [the] eyes of Zedekiah he made blind and he bound him with bronze fetters and he brought him [the] king of Babylon Babylon towards and he put him ([the] house of *Q(K)*) punishment until [the] day of death his.

سپس چشمان او را از حدقه درآورد و او را با زنجیرها بسته، به بابِل برد و تا آخر عمر در زندان نگه داشت.

12 And in the month fifth on the ten of the month it [was] year nine-teen year of the king Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon he came Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards he stood before [the] king of Babylon in Jerusalem.

در روز دهم ماه پنجم از سال نوزدهم سلطنت نِبوکَدنِصَّر، پادشاه بابِل، نبوزرادان فرماندۀ سپاه بابِل و مشاور پادشاه، وارد اورشلیم شد

13 And he burned [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of the king and all [the] houses of Jerusalem and every house of great [person] he burned with fire.

و خانۀ خداوند، کاخ سلطنتی و تمام خانه‌های بزرگ شهر را به آتش کشید،

14 And all [the] walls of Jerusalem all around they broke down all [the] army of [the] Chaldeans which [was] with [the] chief of [the] bodyguards.

و سربازانش دیوار شهر را خراب کردند.

15 And some of [the] poor people of the people and [the] rest of the people - who remained in the city and those [who] had fallen who they had fallen to [the] king of Babylon and [the] rest of the craftsman he took into exile Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards.

آنگاه عده‌ای از فقرای یهودا را با آنانی که در اورشلیم زنده مانده بودند و کسانی که صدقیا را ترک کرده، به بابِلی‌ها پیوسته بودند، و صنعتگران باقی مانده در شهر را به بابِل تبعید کرد.

16 And some of [the] poor people of the land he left behind Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards to vinedressers and to ploughmen.

تنها عده‌ای فقیر را برای کار کشاورزی و باغبانی در آنجا باقی گذاشت.

17 And [the] pillars of bronze which [belonged] to [the] house of Yahweh and the stands and [the] sea of bronze which [were] in [the] house of Yahweh they broke [the] Chaldeans and they carried off all bronze their Babylon towards.

بابِلی‌ها ستونهای مفرغین خانهٔ خداوند و حوض مفرغین و میزهای متحرکی را که در آنجا بود، شکستند و تمام مفرغ آنها را به بابِل بردند.

18 And the pots and the shovels and the snuffers and the bowls and the pans and all [the] articles of bronze which they served with them they took away.

نبوزرادان تمام دیگهای بزرگ و کوچک مفرغین و خاک‌اندازها را که برای مذبح به کار می‌رفت و انبرها، قاشقها، کاسه‌ها و تمام ظروف دیگر مفرغین خانهٔ خدا را با خود برد. او همچنین انبرها، چراغدانها، پیاله‌ها و کاسه‌های طلا و نقره را به همراه برد.

19 And the basins and the fire-pans and the bowls and the pots and the lampstands and the pans and the bowls which [were] gold gold and which [were] silver silver he took away [the] chief of [the] bodyguards.

20 The pillars - two the sea one and the bull[s] two [plus] ten bronze which [were] under the stands which he had made the king Solomon for [the] house of Yahweh not it belonged weight to bronze their all the articles these.

دو ستون و حوضچه و دوازده گاو مفرغین که زیر حوضچه قرار داشت به قدری سنگین بودند که وزن کردن آنها امکان‌پذیر نبود. تمام اینها در زمان سلیمان پادشاه ساخته شده بود.

21 And the pillars [was] eight-teen cubit[s] ([the] height of *Q(K)*) the pillar one and a line of two [plus] ten cubit[s] it goes round it and thickness its [was] four fingers hollow.

بلندی هر ستون در حدود هشت متر و محیط آن در حدود پنج متر و نیم و ضخامت دیوارهایش چهار انگشت بود و میان‌تهی بود،

22 And a capital on it [was] bronze and [the] height of the capital one [was] five cubits and a network and pomegranates [was] on the capital all around everything [was] bronze and like these [belonged] to the pillar second and pomegranates.

و هر یک از آنها نیز سر ستونی مفرغین به بلندی دو متر و نیم داشت و گرداگرد هر سر ستون، انارهای مفرغین، کنده‌کاری شده بود؛

23 And they were the pomegranates ninety and six [the] side towards all the pomegranates [were] one hundred on the network all around.

روی هر سر ستون، یکصد انار وجود داشت، ولی از پایین فقط نود و شش انار را می‌شد دید.

24 And he took [the] chief of [the] bodyguards Seraiah [the] priest of the head and Zephaniah [the] priest of the second rank and [the] three [the] keepers of the threshold.

در ضمن نبوزرادان، فرماندهٔ سپاه بابِل این افراد را نیز در مخفیگاههایشان در شهر پیدا کرد: سرایا، کاهن اعظم و معاون او صفنیا، سه نفر از نگهبانان خانهٔ خدا، یکی از فرماندهان لشکر با هفت نفر از مشاوران مخصوص پادشاه، کاتب فرماندهٔ سپاه یهودا (که مسئول ثبت تعداد سربازان بود) و شصت نفر از اشخاص مهم دیگر.

25 And from the city he took a court-official one who he was an officer - over [the] men of war and seven men from [those who] saw [the] face of the king who they were found in the city and [the] scribe of [the] commander of the army who mustered [the] people of the land and sixty person[s] from [the] people of the land who were found in [the] midst of the city.

26 And he took them Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards and he brought them to [the] king of Babylon Riblah towards.

نبوزرادان ایشان را به ربله نزد پادشاه بابِل برد،

27 And he struck down them [the] king of Babylon and he put to death them at Riblah in [the] land of Hamath and it went into exile Judah from on land its.

و پادشاه در آنجا همه را کشت. به این ترتیب اهالی یهودا به بابِل تبعید شدند.

28 This [is] the people which he took into exile Nebuchadnezzar in year seven Jews three thousand and twenty and three.

تعداد اسیرانی که در سال هفتم سلطنت نِبوکَدنِصَّر به بابِل برده شدند، ۳٬۰۲۳ نفر بود.

29 In year eight-teen of Nebuchadnezzar from Jerusalem person[s] eight hundred thirty and two.

یازده سال بعد، او ۸۳۲ نفر دیگر را هم از اورشلیم اسیر کرد و به بابِل برد.

30 In year three and twenty of Nebuchadnezzar he took into exile Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards Jews person[s] seven hundred forty and five every person [was] four thousand and six hundred.

پنج سال بعد از آن، نبوزرادان فرماندهٔ سپاه بابِل، ۷۴۵ نفر دیگر را تبعید کرد. بنابراین، در مجموع، ۴٬۶۰۰ نفر تبعید شدند.

31 And it was in thirty and seven year of [the] exile of Jehoiachin [the] king of Judah in two [plus] ten month on [day] twenty and five of the month he lifted Evil-Merodach [the] king of Babylon in [the] year of kingdom his [the] head of Jehoiachin [the] king of Judah and he brought out him from [the] house of (imprisonment. *Q(K)*)

در روز بیست و پنجم ماه دوازدهم از سی و هفتمین سال اسیری یهویاکین، پادشاه یهودا، اویل مرودک به پادشاهی بابِل رسید و یهویاکین را مورد لطف خود قرار داد و او را از زندان بیرون آورد.

32 And he spoke with him good and he put seat his from above [the] seat of (the kings *Q(K)*) who [were] with him in Babylon.

او با یهویاکین رفتاری مهرآمیز در پیش گرفت و او را بر تمام پادشاهان تبعیدی در بابِل برتری داد،

33 And he changed [the] clothes of imprisonment his and he ate food before him continually all [the] days of life his.

لباس نو به او پوشاند و از آن پس، او همیشه با پادشاه بابِل سر سفره می‌نشست.

34 And allowance his an allowance of continuity it was given to him from with [the] king of Babylon a matter of a day in day its until [the] day of death his all [the] days of life his.

اویل مرودک تا روزی که یهویاکین زنده بود، برای رفع احتیاجاتش به او مقرری می‌پرداخت.
