Jeremiah 52
1 [was] a son of Twenty and one year[s] Zedekiah when became king he and one [plus] ten year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his ([was] Hamutal *Q(K)*) [the] daughter of Jeremiah from Libnah.
Zeddekiya yali wa myaka amakumi abiri mu gumu egy’obukulu we yafuukira kabaka, n’afugira emyaka kkumi na gumu mu Yerusaalemi. Nnyina yayitibwanga Kamutali muwala wa Yeremiya ow’e Libuna.
2 And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to all that he had done Jehoiakim.
Zeddekiya n’akola eby’omuzizo mu maaso ga Mukama, nga Yekoyakimu bwe yali akoze.
3 For - on [the] anger of Yahweh it happened in Jerusalem and Judah until cast out he them from on face his and he rebelled Zedekiah against [the] king of Babylon.
Abalabe ba Yerusaalemi ne Yuda ne babalumba kubanga Mukama yali abanyiigidde. Ku nkomerero n’abagobamu mu nsi. Ebyo byonna ne bituuka ku Yerusaalemi ne ku Yuda, Mukama n’okubagoba n’abagoba mu maaso ge, ne Zeddekiya n’ajeemera kabaka w’e Babulooni.
4 And it was in the year ninth of reigning his in the month tenth on the ten of the month he came Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon he and all army his on Jerusalem and they encamped on it and they built on it a siege-wall all around.
Mu mwaka ogw’omwenda ogw’obufuzi bwa Zeddekiya, ku lunaku olw’ekkumi mu mwezi ogw’ekkumi, Nebukadduneeza kabaka w’e Babulooni n’eggye lye lyonna, n’alumba Yerusaalemi, ekibuga ekyo n’akizingiza n’akizimbako ebifunvu okukyetooloola.
5 And it came the city in state of siege until one [plus] ten year of the king Zedekiah.
Ekibuga ne bakizimbako ebifunvu okutuusa mu mwaka ogw’ekkumi n’ogumu ogw’obufuzi bwa kabaka Zeddekiya.
6 In the month fourth on [day] nine of the month and it was severe the famine in the city and not it belonged food to [the] people of the land.
Ku lunaku olw’omwenda olw’omwezi ogwokuna enjala n’eba nnyingi nnyo mu kibuga nga tewaali kyakulya.
7 And it was broken into the city and all [the] men of war they fled and they went out from the city night [the] way of [the] gate between the two walls which [was] at [the] garden of the king and [the] Chaldeans [were] on the city all around and they went [the] way of the Arabah.
Bbugwe w’ekibuga yamenyebwa Abakaludaaya. Eggye lyonna erya Yerusaalemi ne lidduka okuva mu kibuga kiro nga bayita mu mulyango oguli wakati w’ebisenge ebibiri ebiri okumpi n’ennimiro lwa kabaka, newaakubadde ng’Abakaludaaya baali beetoolodde ekibuga. Badduka ne bagenda mu Alaba.
8 And they pursued [the] army of [the] Chaldeans after the king and they overtook Zedekiah in [the] plains of Jericho and all army his they were scattered from with him.
Eggye ly’Abakaludaaya ne ligoba kabaka Zeddekiya ne bamukwatira mu nsenyi ez’e Yeriko, Abaserikale be bonna ne bamuvaako ne basaasaana.
9 And they seized the king and they brought up him to [the] king of Babylon Riblah towards in [the] land of Hamath and he spoke with him judgments.
N’akwatibwa. Zeddekiya n’atwalibwa eri kabaka w’e Babulooni e Libuna mu nsi ey’e Kamasi; n’amusalira omusango ne gumusinga.
10 And he slaughtered [the] king of Babylon [the] sons of Zedekiah to eyes his and also all [the] officials of Judah he slaughtered at Riblah.
Awo kabaka w’e Babulooni n’atta batabani ba Zeddekiya nga kitaabwe alaba; n’atta n’abakungu bonna aba Yuda.
11 And [the] eyes of Zedekiah he made blind and he bound him with bronze fetters and he brought him [the] king of Babylon Babylon towards and he put him ([the] house of *Q(K)*) punishment until [the] day of death his.
N’alyoka aggyamu Zeddekiya amaaso n’amusiba mu masamba ag’ebikomo n’amutwala e Babulooni, gye yamuteeka mu kkomera okutuusa lwe yafa.
12 And in the month fifth on the ten of the month it [was] year nine-teen year of the king Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon he came Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards he stood before [the] king of Babylon in Jerusalem.
Ku lunaku olw’ekkumi olw’omwezi ogwokutaano, mu mwaka ogw’ekkumi ogw’obufuzi bwa Nebukadduneeza kabaka w’e Babulooni, Nebuzaladaani omuduumizi w’eggye erikuuma kabaka, eyaweerezanga kabaka w’e Babulooni, yajja e Yerusaalemi.
13 And he burned [the] house of Yahweh and [the] house of the king and all [the] houses of Jerusalem and every house of great [person] he burned with fire.
Nebukadduneeza n’ayokya yeekaalu ya Mukama n’olubiri lwa kabaka, n’ennyumba zonna eza Yerusaalemi. Buli kizimbe kyonna eky’omugaso n’akyokya.
14 And all [the] walls of Jerusalem all around they broke down all [the] army of [the] Chaldeans which [was] with [the] chief of [the] bodyguards.
Eggye lya Babulooni lyonna eryali liduumirwa omuduumizi w’abakuumi bakabaka ne limenyera ddala ebisenge bya Yerusaalemi.
15 And some of [the] poor people of the people and [the] rest of the people - who remained in the city and those [who] had fallen who they had fallen to [the] king of Babylon and [the] rest of the craftsman he took into exile Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards.
Nebuzaladaani omuduumizi w’abakuumi n’atwala abamu ku baavu ennyo n’abo abaasigala mu kibuga, awamu n’abaweesi n’abaali beewaddeyo, mu buwaŋŋanguse eri kabaka w’e Babulooni.
16 And some of [the] poor people of the land he left behind Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards to vinedressers and to ploughmen.
Naye Nebuzaladaani n’asigazaayo abamu ku baavu ennyo mu ggwanga okulabiriranga emizabbibu n’okulimanga.
17 And [the] pillars of bronze which [belonged] to [the] house of Yahweh and the stands and [the] sea of bronze which [were] in [the] house of Yahweh they broke [the] Chaldeans and they carried off all bronze their Babylon towards.
Abakaludaaya ne bamenya empagi ez’ebikomo, n’ebikondo ebyali biseetulwa, n’Ennyanja ey’ekikomo, ebyali mu nnyumba ya Mukama ne batwala ekikomo kyonna e Babulooni.
18 And the pots and the shovels and the snuffers and the bowls and the pans and all [the] articles of bronze which they served with them they took away.
Ne batwala n’entamu, n’ebisena, n’ebisalako ebisirinza, n’ebibya, n’ebijiiko, n’ebintu byonna eby’ekikomo ebyakozesebwanga mu kuweereza mu Yeekaalu.
19 And the basins and the fire-pans and the bowls and the pots and the lampstands and the pans and the bowls which [were] gold gold and which [were] silver silver he took away [the] chief of [the] bodyguards.
Omuduumizi w’abakuumi ba kabaka n’atwala ebensani n’ebibya by’obubaane, n’ebijiiko, n’ebikondo bye ttaala, n’ebibya, n’entamu ebikozesebwa mu kiweebwayo ekyokunywa, byonna ebyali byakolebwa mu zaabu ne ffeeza.
20 The pillars - two the sea one and the bull[s] two [plus] ten bronze which [were] under the stands which he had made the king Solomon for [the] house of Yahweh not it belonged weight to bronze their all the articles these.
Ekikomo okuva ku mpagi ebbiri, n’Ennyanja, n’ennume ekkumi n’ebbiri ez’ebikomo wansi waayo, n’ebikondo kabaka Sulemaani bye yali akoledde yeekaalu ya Mukama, byali bizito nnyo ebitapimika.
21 And the pillars [was] eight-teen cubit[s] ([the] height of *Q(K)*) the pillar one and a line of two [plus] ten cubit[s] it goes round it and thickness its [was] four fingers hollow.
Buli emu ku mpagi yali obuwanvu mita munaana ne desimoolo emu; n’obwetoolovu mita ttaano ne desimoolo nnya; n’omubiri gwayo gwali nga sentimita musanvu nga yamuwuluka.
22 And a capital on it [was] bronze and [the] height of the capital one [was] five cubits and a network and pomegranates [was] on the capital all around everything [was] bronze and like these [belonged] to the pillar second and pomegranates.
Yaliko n’omutwe gw’ekikomo, n’omutwe gumu ng’obuwanvu bwayo nga mita bbiri ne desimoolo ssatu, omutwe nga guliko ebitimbe n’amakomamawanga enjuuyi zonna, byonna nga bya bikomo; empagi eyookubiri nayo yaliko ebifaanana ebyo n’amakomamawanga.
23 And they were the pomegranates ninety and six [the] side towards all the pomegranates [were] one hundred on the network all around.
Mu buli mbiriizi za buli mpagi kwaliko amakomamawanga kyenda mu mukaaga era gonna awamu okwetooloola empagi gaali amakomamawanga kikumi.
24 And he took [the] chief of [the] bodyguards Seraiah [the] priest of the head and Zephaniah [the] priest of the second rank and [the] three [the] keepers of the threshold.
Omuduumizi w’abakuumi n’atwala Seraaya kabona asinga obukulu ne Sefaniya kabona owookubiri n’abaggazi abasatu nga basibe.
25 And from the city he took a court-official one who he was an officer - over [the] men of war and seven men from [those who] saw [the] face of the king who they were found in the city and [the] scribe of [the] commander of the army who mustered [the] people of the land and sixty person[s] from [the] people of the land who were found in [the] midst of the city.
Abo abaali bakyali mu kibuga, n’atwalako omukungu akulira eggye, n’abawi b’amagezi omusanvu. N’atwala n’omuwandiisi eyali omukungu omukulu avunaanyizibwa okuwandiika abayingira mu magye ne basajja be nkaaga abaasangibwa mu kibuga.
26 And he took them Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards and he brought them to [the] king of Babylon Riblah towards.
Nebuzaladaani omuduumizi n’abatwala bonna n’abaleeta eri kabaka w’e Babulooni e Libuna.
27 And he struck down them [the] king of Babylon and he put to death them at Riblah in [the] land of Hamath and it went into exile Judah from on land its.
Kabaka n’abattira eyo e Libuna, mu Kamasi. Bw’atyo Yuda n’awaŋŋangusibwa, okuva mu nsi ya boobwe.
28 This [is] the people which he took into exile Nebuchadnezzar in year seven Jews three thousand and twenty and three.
Buno bwe bungi bw’abantu Nebukadduneeza be yatwala mu buwaŋŋanguse: mu mwaka ogw’omusanvu ogw’obufuzi bwe: Abayudaaya enkumi ssatu mu amakumi abiri mu basatu;
29 In year eight-teen of Nebuchadnezzar from Jerusalem person[s] eight hundred thirty and two.
mu mwaka ogw’omunaana ogwa Nebukadduneeza, n’atwala lunaana mu asatu mu babiri okuva e Yerusaalemi;
30 In year three and twenty of Nebuchadnezzar he took into exile Nebuzaradan [the] chief of [the] bodyguards Jews person[s] seven hundred forty and five every person [was] four thousand and six hundred.
mu mwaka gwe ogw’amakumi abiri mu esatu, Abayudaaya lusanvu mu ana mu bataano be baatwalibwa Nebuzaladaani omuduumizi w’abakuumi wa kabaka. Bonna awamu ne baba abantu enkumi nnya mu lukaaga.
31 And it was in thirty and seven year of [the] exile of Jehoiachin [the] king of Judah in two [plus] ten month on [day] twenty and five of the month he lifted Evil-Merodach [the] king of Babylon in [the] year of kingdom his [the] head of Jehoiachin [the] king of Judah and he brought out him from [the] house of (imprisonment. *Q(K)*)
Awo mu mwaka ogw’amakumi asatu mu omusanvu ogw’okusibibwa kwa Yekoyakini kabaka wa Yuda, mu mwaka Evirumerodaki lwe yafuuka kabaka w’e Babulooni, n’ata Yekoyakini kabaka wa Yuda, n’amuggya mu kkomera ku lunaku olw’amakumi abiri mu etaano olw’omwezi ogw’ekkumi n’ebiri.
32 And he spoke with him good and he put seat his from above [the] seat of (the kings *Q(K)*) who [were] with him in Babylon.
N’ayogera naye n’ekisa n’amuwa entebe ey’ekitiibwa eya waggulu okusinga eza bakabaka abalala abaali naye e Babulooni.
33 And he changed [the] clothes of imprisonment his and he ate food before him continually all [the] days of life his.
Yekoyakini n’akyusa okuva mu ngoye ez’ekkomera era obulamu bwe obusembayo n’aliranga ku mmeeza ya kabaka.
34 And allowance his an allowance of continuity it was given to him from with [the] king of Babylon a matter of a day in day its until [the] day of death his all [the] days of life his.
Era kabaka w’e Babulooni yawanga Yekoyakini ensako eya buli lunaku, obulamu bwe bwonna okutuusa lwe yafa.
