22 A sound of battle [will be] in the land and destruction great.
A na-anụ ụzụ agha nʼala ahụ, a na-anụ ụzụ oke mbibi.
23 How! it has been cut off and it has been broken [the] hammer of all the earth how! it has become a horror Babylon among the nations.

Onyenwe anyị emegheela ụlọakụ ngwa agha ya, site nʼime ya wepụta ngwa agha nke ọnụma ya. Nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị bụ Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile nwere ọrụ ọ ga-arụ nʼala Babilọn.
26 Come to it from [the] end open granaries its pile up it like heaps and totally destroy it may not it belong to it a remnant.
27 Kill all young bulls its let them go down to the slaughter woe! on them for it has come day their [the] time of punishment their.

29 Summon against Babylon - archers all [those who] bend a bow encamp on it all around may not (it be to it *Q(K)*) escape repay to it according to deed[s] its according to all that it has done do to it for Yahweh it has defied proudly [the] holy [one] of Israel.
“Kpọkọtanụ ndị na-agba ụta maka imegide Babilọn, bụ ndị niile na-agba ụta. Maanụ ụlọ ikwu, gbaa ya gburugburu; unu ekwela ka onye ọbụla si nʼime ya gbapụ. Kwụghachi ya ụgwọ dịka ọrụ ya si dị, dịka ihe niile ahụ o mere si dị meenụ ya otu ahụ. Nʼihi na o buliela onwe ya elu megide Onyenwe anyị, bụ Onye nsọ nke Izrel.
30 Therefore they will fall young men its in open places its and all [the] men of war its they will be silenced on the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Nʼihi ya, ụmụ okorobịa ya ga-ada nʼokporoụzọ ama niile. A ga-emekwa ka ndị agha ya niile dere duu nʼụbọchị ahụ.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwubiri.
31 Here I [am] against you O arrogance [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts that it has come day your [the] time [when] I will visit you.
“Lee, edoola m onwe m imegide gị, gị onye nganga.” Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị, bụ Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile kwubiri ya. “Nʼihi na ụbọchị gị abịala, bụ oge ahụ a ga-ata gị ahụhụ.
32 And it will stumble arrogance and it will fall and not [will belong] to it [one who] raises up and I will kindle fire in cities its and it will devour all around it.
Onye nganga ahụ ga-asọ ngọngọ daa, ma o nweghị onye ga-enyere ya aka ka o bilitekwa. Aga m esunye obodo ya niile ọkụ, nke ga-erechapụ ndị niile gbara ya gburugburu.”
33 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [are] oppressed [the] people of Israel and [the] people of Judah together and all captors their they have kept hold on them they have refused to let go them.
Ihe ndị a ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile kwuru: “A na-emegbu nnọọ ndị Izrel, nʼotu aka ahụkwa, ndị Juda. Ndị dọtara ha nʼagha jidesiri ha aka ike. Ha adịghị ahapụ ha ka ha laa.
34 Redeemer their - [is] strong [is] Yahweh of hosts name his certainly he will conduct case their so as to give rest to the earth and to cause disquiet to [the] inhabitants of Babylon.

35 A sword on [the] Chaldeans [the] utterance of Yahweh and against [the] inhabitants of Babylon and against officials its and against wise [people] its.
“Mma agha ga-ebili megide ndị Babilọn niile,” otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara, “na ndị ahụ niile bi na Babilọn ma megidekwa ndịisi ọchịchị niile na ndị ahụ niile maara ihe.
36 A sword against the empty talkers and they will become fools a sword against warriors its and they will be shattered.
Mma agha ga-ebili megide ndị amụma ụgha ha niile. Ha ga-aghọ ndị nzuzu. Mma agha ga-ebili megide ndị bụ dike nʼagha. Obi ha ga-ejupụtakwa nʼoke egwu.

Mma agha ga-ebili megide ịnyịnya ha, na ụgbọ agha ha, na ndị mba ọzọ niile nọ nʼetiti ha. Ha ga-aghọkwa ndị inyom. Mma agha ga-ebilikwa megide akụ ha niile. A ga-alụta ha niile nʼagha.
38 A drought against waters its and they will dry up for [is] a land of idols it and in terrors they will act like mad people.

39 Therefore they will dwell desert-dwellers with hyenas and they will dwell in it daughters of an ostrich and not it will remain again to perpetuity and not it will settle until a generation and a generation.
“Nʼihi ya, ọ bụ ụmụ anụmanụ nke ọzara, na nkịta ọhịa ga-ebi nʼebe ahụ. Ikwighịkwighị ga-ebikwa nʼebe ahụ. Mmadụ ọbụla agaghị ebikwa nʼime ya ọzọ. O nweghị onye ga-ebikwa nʼime ya site nʼọgbọ ruo nʼọgbọ.
40 Like [the] overthrow of God Sodom and Gomorrah and neighbors its [the] utterance of Yahweh not he will dwell there anyone and not he will sojourn in it a child of humankind.
41 There! a people [is] about to come from [the] north and a nation great and kings many they will be roused from [the] remotest parts of [the] earth.
“Lee, ndị agha si nʼala dị nʼebe ugwu na-abịa; mba dị ukwuu na ọtụtụ ndị eze ka a na-akpọlitekwa site na nsọtụ niile nke ụwa.
42 Bow and javelin they will take hold of [will be] cruel they and not they will have mercy sound their [will be] like the sea [which] it roars and on horses they will ride arranged like a man for battle on you O daughter of Babylon.
Ha ji ọtụtụ ụta na ùbe; ha bụ ndị afọ tara mmiri, ndị na-enweghị obi ebere. Ha na-ebigbọ dịka mbigbọ nke osimiri, dịka ha na-anọkwasị nʼelu ịnyịnya ha. Ha na-abịa dịka ndị ikom e doro nʼusoro ibu agha, ibuso gị agha, Ada Babilọn.
43 He heard [the] king of Babylon report their and they hung limp hands his distress it took hold of him anguish like [woman] giving birth.
Eze Babilọn nụrụ akụkọ banyere ude ha, akụkọ mere ka ike gwụrụ aka ya abụọ kpamkpam. Oke ihe mgbu ejidela ya, ihe mgbu dịka nke nwanyị ime na-eme.
44 There! like a lion [which] it goes up from [the] thicket[s] of the Jordan to pastureland of an ever-flowing [stream] for I will act in a moment (I will cause to run them *Q(K)*) from on it and whoever [is] chosen to it I will appoint for who? 45 Therefore hear [the] plan of Yahweh which he has planned against Babylon and purposes his which he has purposed against [the] land of [the] Chaldeans if not people will drag away them [the] young [ones] of the flock if not he will devastate on them [the] pastureland.
