Jeremiah 50
1 The word which he spoke Yahweh concerning Babylon concerning [the] land of [the] Chaldeans by [the] hand of Jeremiah the prophet.

2 Declare among the nations and make a proclamation and lift up a standard make a proclamation may not you hide [it] say it will be captured Babylon it will be put to shame Bel it will be shattered Marduk they will be put to shame images its they will be shattered idols its.
Namtom taengah puen lamtah yaak sak laeh. Rholik te thoh uh lamtah na yaak sak te phah boeh. “Babylon te a loh vetih Bel khaw yak ni, Marduk te rhihyawp vetih a muei a rhoi vaengah a mueirhol te yawk ni.
3 For it will go up on it a nation from [the] north it it will make land its into a waste and not he will be an inhabitant in it from humankind and unto animal[s] they will take flight they will go.
Tlangpuei lamkah namtom loh anih te a paan vetih a khohmuen te imsuep la a khueh ni. A khuiah khosa ham hlang om pawt vetih rhamsa ni rhaehba ham a pongpa eh.
4 In the days those and at the time that [the] utterance of Yahweh they will come [the] people of Israel they and [the] people of Judah together going and weeping they will go and Yahweh God their they will seek.
BOEIPA kah olphong khohnin kah a tue vaengah tah amih Israel ca rhoek neh Judah ca he tun pongpa ham ha pawk uh ni. Te vaengah a rhah neh pongpa uh vetih BOEIPA a Pathen te a toem uh ni.
5 Zion they will ask for [will be] [the] direction hither faces their come and they will join themselves to Yahweh a covenant of perpetuity not it will be forgotten.
A maelhmai a hooi uh vetih Zion longpuei te a dawt uh ni. Ha pawk uh vaengah BOEIPA taengla naep uh vetih kumhal kah paipi te hnilh mahpawh.
6 Sheep lost (they have become *Q(K)*) people my shepherds their they have caused to wander them mountains (they have led away them *Q(K)*) from mountain to hill they have gone they have forgotten resting place their.
Ka pilnam he boiva aka milh bangla om rhoe om coeng. Amih aka dawn loh amih te kho a hmang sak tih tlang ah hnukcol la a mael sak. Tlang lamloh som la luei uh tih a kolhmuen te a hnilh uh.
7 All [those who] found them they devoured them and opponents their they said not we are guilty because that they have sinned to Yahweh [the] habitation of righteousness and [the] hope of ancestors their Yahweh.
Amih te aka hmu sarhui loh a ngaeh uh ni. A rhal rhoek loh, “Duengnah tolkhoeng BOEIPA neh a napa rhoek kah ngaiuepnah BOEIPA taengah a tholh uh dongah m'boe uh moenih,” a ti uh.
8 Take flight from [the] midst of Babylon and from [the] land of [the] Chaldeans (go forth *Q(K)*) and be like male goats before [the] flock.
Babylon lakli lamloh rhaehba lamtah Khalden khohmuen lamloh coe rhoe coe uh laeh. Boiva kah mikhmuh ah kikong bangla om uh.
9 For here! I [am] about to rouse and [am] about to bring up on Babylon an assembly of nations great from a land of [the] north and they will line up to it from there it will be captured arrows its [will be] like a warrior skillful [who] not he returns empty.
Tlangpuei khohmuen lamloh namtom pilnu hlangping te ka haeng tih Babylon taengla ka thak coeng he. Anih te rhong a pai thil vetih a thaltang khaw pahoi a rhawt pah ni. Hlangrhalh tah cakol bangla kuttling la mael mahpawh.
10 And it will become Chaldea plunder all [those who] plunder it they will be satisfied [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Khalden khaw anih aka buem boeih kah kutbuem la om vetih cung uh ni. He tah BOEIPA kah olphong ni.
11 That (you are rejoicing *Q(K)*) that (you are gloating *Q(K)*) O plunderers of inheritance my that (you are skipping about *Q(K)*) like a heifer threshing (so you may neigh *Q(K)*) like mighty [horses].
Na kohoe la hoe uh tih kai kah rho aka tukvat uh loh na sundaep la na sundaep uh. Cang aka til vaito bangla na pet na pet uh tih na hlampan khaw vaito lueng bangla na hlampan uh.
12 She will be ashamed mother your exceedingly she will be abashed [the one who] gave birth you there! [the] last of nations a wilderness a desert and a desert plain.
Na nu te yak vetih nang aka cun khaw namtom thaihdong, rhamrhae neh kolken kah khosoek ah tlal ngam ni.
13 From [the] wrath of Yahweh not it will remain and it will be a waste all of it every [one who] passes by at Babylon he will be appalled and he may hiss on all wounds its.
BOEIPA kah a thinhul ah khosa uh pawt vetih a pum la khopong la poeh ni. Babylon kah aka cet boeih tah pong vetih a hmasoe cungkuem ah hlip ni.
14 Line up on Babylon - all around O all [those who] bend a bow shoot against it may not you spare an arrow for to Yahweh it has sinned.
Lii aka pom boeih Babylon kaepvai ah rhongpai uh lamtah anih te omtoem uh laeh. BOEIPA taengah a tholh dongah thaltang te hnaih uh boeh.
15 Shout out on it all around it will give hand its they will fall (towers its *Q(k)*) they will be torn down walls its for [is] [the] vengeance of Yahweh that avenge yourself on it just as it has done do to it.
Anih te a kaepvai ah yuhui thil uh. A kut kha tih a yung yung ah cungku coeng. BOEIPA kah tawnlohnah dongah khaw a vongtung khaw koengloeng uh coeng. Anih sokah phu a loh bangla a taengah saii rhoe saii pah.
16 Cut off [the] sower from Babylon and [one who] wields a sickle at a time of harvest from before [the] sword of the oppressor everyone to people his they will turn and everyone to own land his they will flee.
Babylon lamkah lo aka tawn neh cangah tue ah vinkui aka pom te saii laeh. Aka vuelvaek kah cunghang hman ah hlang he amah pilnam taengla mael saeh lamtah hlang he amah khohmuen la rhaelrham saeh.
17 [is] sheep Scattered Israel [which] lions they have driven away the first [lion] he devoured it [the] king of Assyria and this the last [lion] he gnawed bones its Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon.
Israel khaw sathueng kah a yaal tu bangla a heh coeng. Lamhma ah Assyria manghai loh a yoop tih a hmailong he Babylon manghai Nebukhanezar loh a khat pah.
18 Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to visit [judgment] to [the] king of Babylon and to land his just as I visited [judgment] to [the] king of Assyria.
Te dongah Israel Pathen caempuei BOEIPA loh he ni a. thui. Assyria manghai taengah ka cawh bangla Babylon manghai neh a khohmuen te ka cawh coeng ne.
19 And I will restore Israel to pasture its and it will graze Carmel and Bashan and in [the] hill country of Ephraim and Gilead it will be satisfied appetite its.
Tedae Israel te amah tolkhoeng la ka mael vetih Karmel neh Bashan ah, Ephriam tlang neh Gilead ah khaw a hinglu te kodam la luem ni.
20 In the days those and at the time that [the] utterance of Yahweh it will be sought [the] iniquity of Israel and there not [will be] it and [the] sins of Judah and not they will be found for I will forgive [those] whom I will leave as a remnant.
Te khohnin neh BOEIPA kah olphong tue ah Israel kathaesainah te tlap cakhaw om mahpawh. Judah tholhnah te khaw hmu uh mahpawh. Ka hlun rhoek te khodawk ka ngai ni.
21 On the land of Merathaim go up on it and against [the] inhabitants of Pekod kill and totally destroy after them [the] utterance of Yahweh and do according to all that I have commanded you.
Merathaim khohmuen amah te paan uh. Pekod khosa rhoek te khap uh lamtah amih hnukkah te thup uh. He tah BOEIPA kah olphong ni. Te dongah nang kang uen te a cungkuem la saii uh.
22 A sound of battle [will be] in the land and destruction great.
Khohmuen kah caemtloek ol neh pocinah tanglue aih te.
23 How! it has been cut off and it has been broken [the] hammer of all the earth how! it has become a horror Babylon among the nations.
Diklai pum kah kilung tah tlawt tih paep coeng. Balae tih Babylon he namtom lakli ah imsuep la a poeh.
24 I set a trap for you and also you were caught O Babylon and you not you knew you were found and also you were caught for with Yahweh you engaged in strife.
Babylon aw na ming pawt vaengah nang kan hlaeh tih na man van coeng. BOEIPA te na huek dongah ni m'hmuh tih n'tuuk van.
25 He has opened Yahweh armory his and he has brought out [the] weapons of indignation his for a work it [belongs] to [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts in [the] land of [the] Chaldeans.
BOEIPA loh a thakvoh te a ong tih Khalden khohmuen ah caempuei Yahovah Boeipa kah bitat ham a kosi hnopai te a poh coeng.
26 Come to it from [the] end open granaries its pile up it like heaps and totally destroy it may not it belong to it a remnant.
Khobawt lamloh anih te paan laeh. A cangboh te ong lamtah, a canghlom bangla tul pah. Amah te thup uh lamtah a taengah a meet khaw om boel saeh.
27 Kill all young bulls its let them go down to the slaughter woe! on them for it has come day their [the] time of punishment their.
A vaito khaw boeih kaeh pah uh lamtah maeh la suntla uh saeh. Anunae amih aih te, amih a ngodoelh tue kah a khohnin ha pai coeng.
28 [the] sound of Fugitives and escapees from [the] land of Babylon to declare in Zion [the] vengeance of Yahweh God our [the] vengeance of temple his.
Babylon khohmuen lamkah rhaelrham neh hlangyong rhoek ol loh Mamih BOEIPA Pathen kah tawnlohnah neh a bawkim kah tawnlohnah ni Zion ah a doek eh.
29 Summon against Babylon - archers all [those who] bend a bow encamp on it all around may not (it be to it *Q(K)*) escape repay to it according to deed[s] its according to all that it has done do to it for Yahweh it has defied proudly [the] holy [one] of Israel.

30 Therefore they will fall young men its in open places its and all [the] men of war its they will be silenced on the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Te dongah a tongpang rhoek te a toltung ah cungku uh ni. Te khohnin ah anih kah caemtloek hlang boeih khaw kuemsuem uh ni. He tah BOEIPA kah olphong ni.
31 Here I [am] against you O arrogance [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh of hosts that it has come day your [the] time [when] I will visit you.
He tah caempuei Yahovah ka Boeipa kah olphong ni. Nang taengah ka altha he khaw, nang kan cawh tue kah, na khohnin ha pawk coeng dongah ni.
32 And it will stumble arrogance and it will fall and not [will belong] to it [one who] raises up and I will kindle fire in cities its and it will devour all around it.
Althanah te paloe vetih cungku ni. Anih aka thoh te om mahpawh. A khopuei ah hmai ka hlup vetih a kaepvai boeih a hlawp ni.
33 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [are] oppressed [the] people of Israel and [the] people of Judah together and all captors their they have kept hold on them they have refused to let go them.
Caempuei BOEIPA loh he ni a. thui. Israel ca neh Judah ca te rhenten a hnaemtaek uh. Amih aka sol boeih loh amih te a parhaeng uh tih amih hlah ham a aal uh.
34 Redeemer their - [is] strong [is] Yahweh of hosts name his certainly he will conduct case their so as to give rest to the earth and to cause disquiet to [the] inhabitants of Babylon.
Amih aka tlan tah tlungluen tih a ming khaw caempuei Yahweh ni. Amih kah tuituknah te a oelh rhoe a oelh pah ni. Te daengah ni khohmuen te a hoep vetih Babylon khosa rhoek te a tlai sak eh.
35 A sword on [the] Chaldeans [the] utterance of Yahweh and against [the] inhabitants of Babylon and against officials its and against wise [people] its.
BOEIPA olphong bangla cunghang te Khalden taeng neh Babylon khosa rhoek taengah, a mangpa rhoek taeng neh a hlangcueih rhoek taengah ka tueih ni.
36 A sword against the empty talkers and they will become fools a sword against warriors its and they will be shattered.
cunghang te olsai taengah ka tueih vetih nga uh ni. cunghang te a hlangrhalh rhoek taengah ka tueih vetih rhihyawp uh ni.
37 A sword against horses its and against chariotry its and against every foreigner who [is] in [the] midst of it and they will become women a sword against treasuries its and they will be plundered.
Cunghang te a marhang taeng neh a leng taengah, a khui kah namcom boeih taengah ka tueih vetih huta bangla om uh ni. Cunghang tea thakvoh taengah ka tueih vetih a poelyoe uh ni.
38 A drought against waters its and they will dry up for [is] a land of idols it and in terrors they will act like mad people.
Te mueidaep khohmuen neh mueirhih dongah a yan uh te a tui sokah kholing loh a rhae bitni.
39 Therefore they will dwell desert-dwellers with hyenas and they will dwell in it daughters of an ostrich and not it will remain again to perpetuity and not it will settle until a generation and a generation.
Te dongah kohong sa-ui neh kho a sak uh vetih a khuiah tuirhuk vanu loh kho a sak ni. Te vaengah a yoeyah la khosa voel pawt vetih cadilcahma phoeikah cadilcahma duela khosa mahpawh.
40 Like [the] overthrow of God Sodom and Gomorrah and neighbors its [the] utterance of Yahweh not he will dwell there anyone and not he will sojourn in it a child of humankind.
He tah BOEIPA kah olphong ni. Pathen loh Sodom neh Gomorrah neh a imben rhoek imrhong- la a khueh bangla hlang loh khosa pawt vetih a khuiah hlang capa loh bakuep mahpawh.
41 There! a people [is] about to come from [the] north and a nation great and kings many they will be roused from [the] remotest parts of [the] earth.
Tlangpuei lamkah pilnam ha pawk coeng ke. Te vaengah diklai khobawt lamkah namtom pilnu neh maghai boeiping rhoek khaw haenghang uh.
42 Bow and javelin they will take hold of [will be] cruel they and not they will have mercy sound their [will be] like the sea [which] it roars and on horses they will ride arranged like a man for battle on you O daughter of Babylon.
Amih muenying muenyang loh lii neh soe a pom uh tih haidam uh pawh. A ol te tuipuei bangla kawk. Te phoeiah Babylon nu nang taengkah caemtloek ham te marhang dongah ngol uh tih hlang bangla rhong a pai.
43 He heard [the] king of Babylon report their and they hung limp hands his distress it took hold of him anguish like [woman] giving birth.
Amih kah olthang te Babylon manghai loh a yaak vaengah a kut khaw tahah coeng. Citcai loh anih te ca-om bangla bungtloh neh a kolek.
44 There! like a lion [which] it goes up from [the] thicket[s] of the Jordan to pastureland of an ever-flowing [stream] for I will act in a moment (I will cause to run them *Q(K)*) from on it and whoever [is] chosen to it I will appoint for who? [is] like me and who? will he summon me and who? this [is] a shepherd who he will stand before me.
Sathueng bangla Jordan kah mingthennah lamloh tangkuek tolkhoeng la cet. Amih te ka hoep vetih te lamloh ka yong rhoe ka yong sak ni. Anih aka coelh te khaw ka cawh ta. Kamah bangla unim aka om tih unim kai aka tuentah? He he unim aka dawn tih ka mikhmuh ah unim aka pai thai?
45 Therefore hear [the] plan of Yahweh which he has planned against Babylon and purposes his which he has purposed against [the] land of [the] Chaldeans if not people will drag away them [the] young [ones] of the flock if not he will devastate on them [the] pastureland.

46 From [the] sound it has been captured Babylon it will quake the earth and a cry of distress among the nations it will be heard.
