Jeremiah 5
1 Rove about in [the] streets of Jerusalem and see please and observe and search in open places its if you will find a person if there [is one who] does justice [one who] seeks faithfulness so I may forgive it.
“यरूशलेमका सडकहरूबाट छिटो जा । त्यसका चोकहरूमा पनि खोजी गर् । त्यसपछि हेरे अनि यस कुरा बारेमा विचार गर्: न्यायपूर्वक काम गर्ने र इमानदारीपूर्वक काम गर्न खोज्ने कुनै मानिस तैंले फेला पारिस् भने, म यरूशलेमलाई क्षमा दिनेछु ।
2 And though [by] [the] life of Yahweh people say therefore to falsehood they are swearing oaths.
तिनीहरू भन्छन्छन्, 'जीवित परमप्रभुको नाउँमा' तापनि तिनीहरूले झूटा शपथ खाँदैछन् ।”
3 O Yahweh [are] eyes your ¿ not to faithfulness you struck them and not they writhed you brought to an end them they refused to accept correction they made strong faces their more than rock they refused to return.
हे परमप्रभु, के तपाईंका आँखाले विश्वसनीयताको खोजी गर्दैनन् र? तपाईंले मानिसहरूलाई प्रहार गर्नुभयो, तर तिनीहरूलाई पिडा महसुस हुँदैन । तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई पूर्ण रूपमा पराजित गर्नुभएको छ, तर तिनीहरू अझै पनि अनुशासन मान्न इन्कार गर्छन् । तिनीहरूले आफ्ना अनुहार चट्टानभन्दा कडा बनाउँछन्, किनकि तिनीहरू पश्चात्ताप गर्न इन्कार गर्छन् ।
4 And I I said only [are] poor [people] they they have acted foolishly for not they know [the] way of Yahweh [the] ordinance of God their.
त्यसैले मैले भनें, “निश्चय नै यिनीहरू मात्र दुःखी मानिसहरू रहेछन् । तिनीहरू मूर्ख छन्, किनकि तिनीहरू परमप्रभुका मार्ग जान्दैनन्, न त तिनीहरूका परमेश्वरका आज्ञाहरू जान्दछन् ।
5 I will go for myself to the great and I will speak them for they they know [the] way of Yahweh [the] ordinance of God their nevertheless they alike they had broken off a yoke they had torn off fetters.
म ठुला मानिसहरूकहाँ जानेछु, र तिनीहरूलाई परमेश्वरको सन्देश घोषणा गर्नेछु, किनकि कमसेकम आफ्ना परमेश्वरका मार्ग, परमेश्वरका आज्ञाहरू तिनीहरूले त जान्दछन् ।” तर तिनीहरू सबैले आफ्ना जुवा सँगसँगै भाँचे । तिनीहरू सबैले आफूलाई परमेश्वरसित बाँध्ने बन्धनलाई चुँडाले ।
6 There-fore it will attack them a lion from a forest a wolf of desert plains it will devastate them a leopard [will be] watching over cities their every [one who] goes out from them he will be torn in pieces for they are many transgressions their they are numerous (apostasies their. *Q(k)*)
त्यसैले झाडीबाट निस्केर आउने सिंहले तिनीहरूलाई आक्रमण गर्नेछ । अराबाबाट आउने ब्वाँसोले तिनीहरूलाई नष्ट पार्नेछ । ढुकेर बस्ने चितुवा तिनीहरूका सहरहरूको विरुद्धमा आउनेछ । आफ्नो सहरबाहिर जाने कोही पनि टुक्राटुक्रा पारिनेछ । किनकि तिनीहरूका अपराध बढ्दो छन् । तिनीहरूका विश्वासहीन कामहरू असीमित छन् ।
7 Where? for this (will I forgive *Q(k)*) you children your they have forsaken me and they have sworn by not gods and I satisfied them and they committed adultery and [the] house of a prostitute they cut themselves.
यी मानिसहरूलाई मैले किन क्षमा दिने? तिमीहरूका छोराहरूले मलाई त्यागेका छन्, र तिनीहरूले त्यो नाउँमा शपथ खान्छन् जो ईश्वरहरू नै होइनन् । मैले तिनीहरूलाई पेटभरि खुवाएँ, तर तिनीहरूले व्यभिचार गरे, र ठुलो सङ्ख्यामा वेश्याहरूका घरहरूमा गए ।
8 Horses well fed lustful they are everyone to [the] wife of neighbor his they neigh.
तिनीहरू कामवासनाले मस्त घोडाहरूजस्ता थिए । मैथुनको चाहनाले तिनीहरू चारैतिर डुल्दै थिए । प्रत्येक आफ्नो छिमेकीको पत्नीको लागि हिनहिनायो ।
9 ¿ On these [things] not will I punish [the] utterance of Yahweh and or? on a nation which [is] like this [one] not will it avenge itself self my.
त्यसैले, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, के मैले तिनीहरूलाई दण्ड दिनुपर्दैन र, के मैले यस्तो जातिसित बदला लिनुपर्दैन र? ।
10 Go up among vine rows its and destroy [them] and complete destruction may not you make remove vine tendrils its for not [belong] to Yahweh they.
त्यसका दाखबारीका गराहरूमा जा र नष्ट गरिदे। तर तिनमा पूर्ण विनाश नगर । तिनका हाँगाहरू छिंवल, किनकि ती दाखका बोट परमप्रभुबाट आएका होइनन् ।
11 For certainly they have dealt treacherously with me [the] house of Israel and [the] house of Judah [the] utterance of Yahweh.
किनकि इस्राएल र यहूदाका घरानाहरूले मलाई पूर्ण रूपमा धोका दिएक छन्, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।
12 They have denied Yahweh and they have said not he and not it will come on us harm and sword and famine not we will see.
तिनीहरूको परमप्रभुको बारेमा झूट बोलेका छन् र यसो भनेका छन्, “उहाँले केही गर्नुहुने छैन । हामीमाथि कुनै हानि आउनेछैन, र हामीले कुनै तरवार वा अनिकाल देख्ने छैनौं ।
13 And the prophets they will become wind and the word not [is] in them thus let it be done to them.
अगमवक्ताहरू हावा हुनेछन्, र तिनीहरूमा वचन छैन । त्यसैले तिनीहरूले भनेका कुरा तिनीहरूमाथि नै आइपरून् ।”
14 Therefore thus he says Yahweh [the] God of hosts because have spoken you the word this here I [am] about to make words my in mouth your into a fire and the people this wood and it will consume them.
त्यसैले सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “तैंले यसो भनेको हुनाले हेर, म तेरो मुखमा मेरो वचन हाल्नै लागेको छु । यो आगोजस्तो हुनेछ, र यी मानिसहरू दाउराजस्ता हुनेछन् । किनकि यसले तिनीहरूलाई भस्म पार्ने छ ।
15 Here I [am] about to bring on you a nation from a distance O house of Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh [is] a nation - enduring it [is] a nation from long ago it a nation [which] not you know language its and not you hear what? does it say.
हेर! ए इस्राएलको घराना हो, मैले तेरो विरुद्धमा धेरै टाढाबाट एउटा जातिलाई ल्याउनै लागेको छु, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, यो एउटा दिगो र प्राचीन जाति हो । यो एउटा त्यस्तो जाति हो जसको भाषा तैंले जान्दैनस्, न त तिनीहरूले के भन्छन् त्यो तैंले बुझ्नेछस् ।
16 Quiver its [is] like a grave open all of them [are] warriors.
तिनीहरूका वाणका ठोक्राहरू खुला चिहानजस्तै छन् । तिनीहरू सबै सिपाही हुन् ।
17 And it will devour harvest your and food your they will devour sons your and daughters your it will devour flock[s] your and herd[s] your it will devour vine[s] your and fig tree[s] your it will shatter [the] cities of fortifications your which you [are] trusting in them with the sword.
त्यसैले तिमीहरूका फसल, तिमीहरूका छोराछोरी अनि तिमीहरूका खानेकुरा स्वाहा पारिनेछन् । तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूका भेडा-बाख्रा र गाईवस्तु खानेछन् । तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूका दाखका बोट र अञ्जीरका बोटहरूका फल खानेछन् । तिमीहरूले भरोसा गरेका तिमीहरूका किल्ला भएका सहरहरूलाई तिनीहरूले तरवारले नष्ट पार्नेछन् ।
18 And also in the days those [the] utterance of Yahweh not I will make with you complete destruction.
तर ती दिनमा पनि म तिमीहरूलाई पूर्ण रूपमा नाश पार्ने इच्छा गर्दिनँ, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।
19 And it will be that you will say for what? did he do Yahweh God our to us all these [things] and you will say to them just as you forsook me and you served gods of foreignness in own land your so you will serve strangers in a land [which] not [belongs] to you.
जब तँ, इस्राएल र यहूदाले यसो भन्छस्, ‘परमप्रभु हाम्रा परमेश्वरले किन हामीलाई यी सबै कुरा गर्नुभएको?’ तब तँ यर्मियाले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नेछस्, “जसरी तिमीहरूले परमप्रभुलाई त्याग्यौ र आफ्नै देशमा विदेशी देवताहरूको सेवा गर्यौ, त्यसरी नै तिमीहरूले विदेशमा पनि विदेशीहरूको सेवा गर्नुपर्नेछ ।”
20 Declare this in [the] house of Jacob and proclaim it in Judah saying.
याकूबको घरानामा यो प्रचार गर्, र यहूदामा यो सुनियोस् । यसो भन्,
21 Hear please this O people fool and there not [is] a heart eyes [belong] to them and not they see ears [belong] to them and not they hear.
“हे समझ नभएको मूर्ख मानिस हो, यो कुरा सुन । तिमीहरूका आँखा छन्, तर देख्न सक्दैनौ, कान छन्, तर सुन्न सक्दैनौ ।
22 ¿ Me not do you fear [the] utterance of Yahweh or? from before me not do you tremble who I appointed [the] sand a boundary for the sea a decree of perpetuity and not it will pass over it and they shook back and forth and not they will prevail and they roar waves its and not they will pass over it.
मदेखि नडराओ, न त मेरो मुहारको सामु थरथर होओ, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो । समुद्रलाई बालुवाको सिमाना राखेको छु जुन नभत्किने स्थायी, निरन्तर रहने आज्ञा हो, छाल ठोकिने र फर्किने भए तापनि त्यसले अझै भत्काउनेछैन । यसका तरङ्गहरू गर्जे तापनि तिनले यसलाई पार गर्दैनन् ।
23 And to the people this it belongs a heart stubborn and rebellious they have turned aside and they have gone away.
तर यी मानिसहरूको हठी हृदय छ । यो विद्रोहमा बरालिन्छ र टाढा जान्छ ।
24 And not they said in heart their let us fear please Yahweh God our who gives rain (autumn rain *Q(K)*) and spring rain at appropriate time its [the] weeks of [the] appointments of harvest he keeps for us.
किनकि तिनीहरूले आफ्ना हृदयमा यसो भन्दैनन्, “हामी परमप्रभु हाम्रा परमेश्वरको भय मानौं जसले वर्षा ल्याउनुहुन्छ, हामीले खेति गर्नुपर्ने हप्ताहरूमा, ठिक समयमा अगिल्लो र पछिल्लो वर्षा दिनुहुन्छ।”
25 Iniquities your they have turned aside these [things] and sins your they have withheld good from you.
तिमीहरूका अधर्महरूले गर्दा यी कुरा हुनबाट रोकिएका छन् । तिमीहरूका पापले गर्दा भलाइ तिमीहरूकहाँ आउन रोकिएको छ ।
26 For they are found among people my wicked [people] he watches as bend fowlers they set a destroyer people they catch.
किनकि मेरा मानिसहरूसँगै दुष्ट मानिसहरू भेट्टाइएका छन् । कोही मानिस चरा समाउनलाई चुप बसेझैं तिनीहरू ढुकिबस्छन् । तिनीहरूले पासो थाप्छन् र मानिसहरू समात्छन् ।
27 Like a cage full bird[s] so houses their [are] full deceit there-fore they have become great and they have gained riches.
चराहरूले भरिएका पिंजराजस्तै तिनीहरूका घरहरू छलले भरिएका छन् । त्यसैले तिनीहरू ठुला र धनी भएका छन् ।
28 They have become fat they have become smooth also they have transgressed matters of evil a cause not they have pleaded [the] cause of [the] fatherless so they may have success and [the] justice of needy [people] not they have judged.
तिनीहरू मोटाएका छन् । तिनीहरू सकुसल चिल्ला भएका छन् । तिनीहरूले दुष्टताको सबै सीमा पार गरेका छन् । तिनीहरूले मानिसहरू वा अनाथहरूको भलाइको निम्ति बिन्ती गर्दैनन् । तिनीहरूले खाँचोमा परेकाहरूलाई न्याय नदिए तापनि तिनीहरूको उन्नति हुन्छ ।
29 ¿ On these [things] not will I punish [the] utterance of Yahweh or? on a nation which [is] like this [one] not will it avenge itself self my.
के यी कुराको लागि मैले तिनीहरूलाई दण्ड नदिने त, के यस्तो जातिलाई मैले बदला नलिते त? यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।
30 An atrocious event and a horrible [thing] it has occurred in the land.
यस देशमा बीभत्स र त्रासदीपूर्ण कामहरू भएका छन् ।
31 The prophets they have prophesied with falsehood and the priests they are ruling on hands their and people my they have loved thus and what? will you do to end its.
अगमवक्ताहरूले छलपूर्ण अगमवाणी गर्छन्, र पुजारीहरूले आफ्नै शक्तिले शासन गर्छन् । मेरो मानिसहरूले यही तरिका मन पराउँछन्, तर अन्त्यमा के हुने छ?”
