Jeremiah 49
1 Of [the] people of Ammon thus he says Yahweh ¿ [do] children not [belong] to Israel or? [does] an heir not [belongs] to it why? has he dispossessed Milcom Gad and people his in cities its has it dwelt?
Over de Ammonieten. Zo spreekt Jahweh: Heeft Israël zelf geen kinderen, Heeft het geen erfgenaam meer? Waarom heeft Milkom dan Gad verdrongen, Zijn volk zich in diens steden gezet?
2 Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will sound aloud against Rabbah of [the] people of Ammon a shout of battle and it will become a mound of desolation and daughters its with fire they will be kindled and it will dispossess Israel [those who] dispossessed it he says Yahweh.
Daarom gaan de dagen komen, Is de godsspraak van Jahweh: Dat Ik tegen Rabbat-Ammon Het krijgsrumoer laat weergalmen. Het zal een woeste puinhoop worden, Zijn dochtersteden zullen worden verbrand; Dan zal Israël verdringen, die hém verdrongen, Spreekt Jahweh!

Ik ga verschrikking over u brengen, Is de godsspraak des Heren, Van Jahweh der heirscharen: Van alle kant om u heen. Een voor een wordt gij allen verstrooid, En niemand brengt die zwervers bijeen;
6 And after thus I will turn back [the] captivity of [the] people of Ammon [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Eerst later zal Ik het lot van de zonen van Ammon Ten beste keren, is de godsspraak van Jahweh!
7 Of Edom thus he says Yahweh of hosts ¿ [is] there not still wisdom in Teman has it been lost? counsel from understanding [people] has it been corrupted? wisdom their.
Over Edom. Zo spreekt Jahweh der heirscharen! Is er geen wijsheid meer in Teman, Is het met het beleid der verstandigen uit, Is hun doorzicht spoorloos verdwenen?
8 Flee be turned back make deep to dwell O inhabitants of Dedan for [the] disaster of Esau I will bring on it a time [when] I will visit it.
Vlucht, loopt weg, verschuilt u diep, Bewoners van Dedan; Want Ik ga onheil over Esau brengen, In de tijd van zijn straf.
9 If grape gatherers they came to you not will they leave? gleanings if thieves in the night they destroyed sufficiency their.
Ja, wijnlezers komen op u af, Geen tros laten ze hangen; Dieven komen in de nacht, En roven, zoveel ze kunnen.
10 For I I will strip bare Esau I will uncover hiding places its and it will hide itself not it will be able it will be devastated offspring its and relatives its and neighbors its and there not [will be] it.

Want zo spreekt Jahweh: Die de beker niet hoefden te drinken, hebben gedronken; En gij zoudt blijven gespaard: Neen, ook gij zult hem drinken!
13 For by myself I swear [the] utterance of Yahweh that a waste a reproach a desolation and a curse it will become Bozrah and all cities its they will become ruins of perpetuity.
Want Ik heb bij Mijzelf gezworen, Is de godsspraak van Jahweh: Bosra zal ten afschrik worden, een hoon en een vloek, Al zijn steden een puinhoop voor eeuwig!

Uw hoogmoed heeft u bedrogen, Met de overmoed van uw hart. Gij, die in rotskloven woont, En de steilste toppen bezet: Al bouwt ge uw nest zo hoog als de arend, Ik haal u omlaag, is de godsspraak van Jahweh!
17 And it will become Edom a horror every [one who] passes by at it he will be appalled and he may hiss on all wounds its.
Edom zal ten afschrik worden; En ieder, die er doorheen trekt, Zal zich verbazen en blazen Over al zijn rampen.
18 Like [the] overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and neighbors its he says Yahweh not he will dwell there anyone and not he will sojourn in it a child of humankind.
Zoals Sodoma en Gomorra werden verwoest, Met hun zustersteden, zegt Jahweh: Zo zal er niemand wonen, Geen mensenkind er vertoeven.
19 There! like a lion [which] it goes up from [the] thicket[s] of the Jordan to pastureland of an ever-flowing [stream] for I will act in a moment I will cause to run it from on it and whoever [is] chosen to it I will appoint for who? Ik heb vuur aan de muren van Damascus gelegd, Dat Ben-Hadads paleizen verslindt.
28 Of Kedar - and of [the] kingdoms of Hazor which he attacked (Nebuchadnezzar *Q(K)*) [the] king of Babylon thus he says Yahweh arise go up against Kedar and devastate [the] people of [the] east.
Over Kedar en de koninkrijken van Chasor, die Nabukodonosor, de koning van Babel, verslagen heeft. Zo spreekt Jahweh: Op, rukt tegen Kedar uit, Plundert de zonen van het oosten leeg!

Men neme hun tenten en kudde mee, Hun zeilen met al hun gerief; Men berove ze van hun kamelen, En roepe ze toe: Verschrikking alom!
30 Flee take flight exceedingly make deep to dwell O inhabitants of Hazor [the] utterance of Yahweh that he has planned on you Nebuchadnezzar [the] king of Babylon a plan and he has purposed (on you *Q(K)*) a purpose.
Vlucht, loopt weg, verschuilt u diep, Bewoners van Chasor, Is de godsspraak van Jahweh. Want Nabukodonosor, de koning van Babel, Heeft tegen u een plan beraamd, Een aanslag gesmeed.
31 Arise go up against a nation at ease [which] dwells to security [the] utterance of Yahweh not a pair of gates and not a bar [belong] to it alone they dwell.
Op, rukt uit tegen een zorgeloos volk, Dat zich veilig waant, is de godsspraak van Jahweh; Dat deuren noch grendels bezit, En in de eenzaamheid woont.
32 And they will become camels their spoil and [the] abundance of livestock their plunder and I will scatter them to every wind [those who] are cut off of [the] corner and from all sides its I will bring disaster their [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Hun kamelen worden uw buit, Hun talrijke kudde uw prooi. Naar alle winden ga Ik die geschoren slapen verstrooien, Van alle kant het verderf op hen brengen, spreekt Jahweh!
33 And it will become Hazor a habitation of jackals a desolation until perpetuity not he will dwell there anyone and not he will sojourn in it a child of humankind.
Chasor zal een hol van jakhalzen worden, Een steppe voor eeuwig; Niemand zal er wonen, Geen mensenkind er vertoeven.
34 Which it came [the] word of Yahweh to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam at [the] beginning of [the] reign of Zedekiah [the] king of Judah saying.
Het woord van Jahweh, dat tot den profeet Jeremias over Elam gericht werd in het begin der regering van Sedekias, den koning van Juda.
35 Thus he says Yahweh of hosts here I [am] about to break [the] bow of Elam [the] beginning of strength their.
Zo spreekt Jahweh der heirscharen: Zie, Ik breek de boog van Elam aan stukken, De keur van zijn kracht.
36 And I will bring against Elam four winds from [the] four [the] ends of the heavens and I will scatter them to all the winds these and not it will be the nation where not it will go there [the] outcasts of (Elam. *Q(K)*)
De vier winden laat Ik op Elam los Uit de vier hoeken van de hemel; Ik ga ze verspreiden naar al die winden, Geen volk zal er zijn, waar Elams verstrooiden niet komen.

38 And I will set throne my in Elam and I will destroy from there king and officials [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Dan richt Ik mijn troon in Elam op, En roei daar koning en vorsten uit, Is de godsspraak van Jahweh.
39 And it will be - at [the] end of the days (I will turn back *Q(K)*) ([the] captivity of *Q(k)*) Elam [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Eerst op het einde der dagen Keer Ik het lot van Elam ten beste, Is de godsspraak van Jahweh!
